I appreciated the time and attention that Mason gave to my hair, and also appreciated the general atmosphere of the shop. It's a really charming place, and I definitely plan to go back.

I went to Mason and Binder for my first short hair trim post-chemo. It was my first time at a barber shop and with short hair and Mason was so helpful on cleaning up my growing hair, but still keeping it more soft and natural (and lady like). Highly recommend!

This is the best barber shop the most professional barbers have been here in New Orleans.I care a lot of getting a good haircut dealing with barbers who know what to do or I don't have to ask 6 different times for them to straighten up lines or fix a fade after they say they're done. First time I came here I was after I went to another barber shop they have messed my hair up so badly I didn't know what to do because we had head shots at work the next day. Danny with highly recommend fix my hair for free and ever since then this is absolutely the only barber shop I trust in New Orleans. Between Aiden Gill, Modern Man, and Dennis' Mason & Binder is hands down the best shop I've been to in New Orleans.

There are so many places in the neighborhood that you can go to for your haircut, and it's difficult deciding on which one. Let me tell you why this spot is your best choice. CONVENIENCE: Booking an appointment was incredibly easy through their website. They're also open on Sundays, which is great since my schedule is so busy during the week. Prices for each service are listed on their website, and that transparency is a huge plus for me. By the way, I thought the price for my haircut was quite reasonable. SERVICE: My haircut was done by Alex. I came at a pretty quiet time, so we were the only two people there; nevertheless, I felt comfortable the moment I walked through the door. I was offered some water while I sat and discussed the style I was going for with him. He had some great recommendations for my haircut and made sure I was okay with them before he started. We had some nice conversation throughout my haircut as well. QUALITY: Needless to say, I'm very satisfied with how it turned out. I've had plenty of bad haircuts in the past, so I was pleasantly surprised once I saw the final product. I'm trying to come up with even the tiniest complaint, but the reality is that it looks exactly how I wanted it to. THE VERDICT: I will definitely be coming to Mason & Binder next time I need a haircut. If you're still trying to find the right place for you, or just want to try a new spot for a change, I can't recommend them enough. 5/5

Great place! Chill environment, owners are locals, all the barbers are skilled, not over priced, and you can book online. If you want to sit in an actual barber chair, get a solid cut and chill with the guys then this is the spot. Check them out

I got two words for this place: excellent service. I recently went there and got a great haircut. Mason was my barber and he understood exactly the style I was looking for. Overall, the staff was professional and very friendly. They definitely have one of the nicest and coolest looking barbershop I've seen in a long time. They take appointments and walk-ins. Also, they take credit cards and cash. I will definitely be getting my haircuts here from now on.

Had a great haircut by Mason. Place itself is pretty cozy, a little bit hard to see from outside though, located behind the building. Overall, very pleasant experience, highly recommended!

Don't expect a quick in and out assembly line experience that's not what you get here. You get a true barbershop experience. Conversation a cold beer and a hot shave what could be wrong about that..

On a recommendation, came here looking for a new style/cut. Mason took care of me. We discussed options, very cool guy. He showed me some pictures and settled on a cut. Mason takes his time and gets everything right. Honestly, it was the longest cut and shampoo I've had (about an hour), but totally worth it. Between conversation and a good movie that was on, time passed by ok. It's a real nice place in back and has a painted barber pole (column). Men stuff all around ( products, sports stuff, etc). I felt good here. Not real expensive ($30 for cut and shampoo), nice place, good stylists (barbers??). Highly recommended.

I’ve been a regular at this joint for about two years, best cut in the city. The barbers are characters and go out of their way to make you feel at home. They play silly movies and give great haircuts what else can you ask for.

Months of getting sub par fades from “Barbershops” in New Orleans. I got connected with Danny. He gave me a cut I can be proud of. Knew and gave me exactly what I wanted and offered some styling tips when the cut was through. Very efficient with my time getting finished around 45 mins. I have difficult, thick, straight hair and he didn’t even flinch when I said how I wanted it done.
