I called in asked if they could do a blended fade with sharp blade and she responded, “yes.” I showed up after work and man oh man I was so happy I walked into this place. They are very welcoming and they offer you beverages while you wait. The services they offer are top notch. Excellent excellent service they provide here. Gypsy, thank you so much for doing exactly what I asked for. You have definitely just gained another loyal client. The owner and the other barbers and hairdressers are so kind and friendly. I really enjoyed the vibe here. If you’ve been looking for a clean clean fresh cut with all the bells and whistles? This place right here is definitely the spot.

I ended up with a no-fade buzz cut I could have gotten at cost cutters. Not the same place or the same level of service as the old ownership at all. Disappointing and just average overall.

A guy originally from Santa Cruz gave me the best haircut i got in a long time. Never go elsewhere while in NoLa. Addendum: I somehow managed to get ejected from my single speed bike on the way to Bulls and Bears appointment. All bruised and beat, I hobbled home, ordered a taxi to make it to my appointment. A glass of Scotch and a perfectly executed professional haircut later, I am thinking that we have a New Orleans institution in the making. The staff here does not cut your hair. They engage in and are fully dedicated to the art of grooming. Their shaves and beard trims are legendary, and the kind of knowledge of their craft I have not seen outside Paris or Milan. Interior is impeccably pleasant and inviting. Get in on the action. If I am not mistaken, the waits here will stretch to months sooner rather than later. Great experience overall. Thanks guys. A lovely mix of Bay Area professionalism with NoLa friendly attitude. All in all a great addition to the revitalizing down town New Orleans.

I walked in off the street late in the afternoon expecting to have to make an appointment for the next day. The owner worked me in and for the length of the appointment my face was given top notch pampering. My beard was professionally and expertly trimmed with both clippers and a straight razor. There were multiple hot towels and my face and neck were massaged. When I left, my girlfriend said my face look rejuvenated and she couldn't stop staring at me, saying that the trim made me look like a whole new man. Guys, if you're visiting New Orleans... TREAT YOURSELF TO THIS PLACE! It's absolutely worth it!.

Went here the other day for a cut and a shave, and booked the stylist Abby. She was super professional and gave me exactly the haircut and shave that I wanted with a perfect fade. I went in for a facial with Claudia and as soon as you walk in the door, it is a very clean and really neat reception/waiting area. As I went to the elevator I noticed the really cool entrance to the barber shop area was like a secret door disguised as a bookshelf. Thought that was very different and pretty cool. I scheduled a 30 minute facial with their in house esthetician Claudia. She was very professional and exceptionally knowledgeable regarding skin types, which helps her provide you with the best service to fit you. I would absolutely return for future services and I highly recommend seeing Claudia for the services she provides.

Bulls & Bears is the best. I've had my hair cut by almost everyone there, and everyone has been attentive and careful to make sure you get the best experience. Robert, especially, is the man! He has given me the best haircuts I've ever had, and has been super accommodating for me personally, as well as having helped me put together a group experience for the groomsmen of a wedding party on a Saturday morning. The atmosphere is also very cool, professional and laid back. 5 stars for Bulls and Bears & 10 stars for Robert.

Awesome experience! Very cool atmosphere and staff. Scheduled a facial with Claudia, which was very soothing and relaxing. The oils smelled fantastic and the massage just about put me to sleep! Recently they brought on an esthetician by the name of Claudia, I’ve never gotten facials before but I’m booking one every 2 weeks now. This place is first class!!!! Walked in and the guys who worked there made you feel very welcomed. I was there for a facial by Claudia. She greeted me just before the appointment time and brought me to the dim lit room that smelled phenomenal! Claudia did an outstanding job on my facial. I felt like I was paralyzed for 30 minutes. It’s called a facial but she massaged my head, neck, shoulders, arms and hands. It was heaven and I can’t wait to go back there to get this done again. I will be back very soon!!! Made an appointment for 11 NOV 2020 ( for which was prepaid) w/ Diddy Marquez. Arrived at 0955 to the shop and nobody was there. Tried to call but the voicemail was full. I have gotten shaved here previously without any issues. This most likely will be last time I will coming to this business. ***Update Abby was able to fit me in and gave me a great shave.

Bulls and Bears the best barbershop in New Orleans . Walk-ins are accepted. They also have a nice app that is easy to use to schedule appointments. Terron cuts my hair and he’s extremely talented/well known throughout the city. Rob the owner is cool as hell , displays excellent customer service and the layout is 🔥🔥🔥🔥. They offer a shot of whiskey if you’re a drinker as well. There are both male and female barbers . It’s also integrated which is also a great experience. I recommend this place to anyone. Even tourist.

Absolutely loved this place! First time going and I will definitely be back!!!! I though that for $35 I was going to a simple beard trim...that wasn't the case at all. As a home owner in the neighborhood, Bulls and Bears is a unique treasure in our area. The staff is so very friendly, they treat you like family from the moment you arrive. The barbers are so very talented and take the time to make sure your experience is perfect every time. My barber, Rambo, is also a first class artist and some of his work is displayed in the barber shop, in my home and recently at the 1920 Gallery on Magazine. If you stop by once, the staff will win you over as a friend and patron.
