Zachary was amazing... He listened and provided a top notch haircut. Literally one of the best beard trims, shaping I've ever had. Price includes a whiskey and they have cigars so you can make a nice afternoon out of getting a haircut. Highly recommend and I Will definitely come back.

Great atmosphere and amazing people. Probably the coolest place I've ever gotten a haircut. My only complaint would be that the cut was just OK. I know I don't have the easiest hair to deal with but I've received some great cuts in the past. I grew my hair out hoping for something fresh and when I asked the barber for any recommendations, she just asked what I usually get and then just continued to do that. Which is OK I guess. Either way, I will gladly pay the extra money for just the experience of this place versus a sports clips. I probably should have been more vocal about what I wanted but honestly I didn't really know and was hoping my barber had a couple suggestions. I might try another barber to see if I match better because in no way was I disappointed with the experience. Look forward to trying again

Place is down to earth and very clean with a nice vibe. I had Jenna as my barber and she did amazing work! She was professional, took her time, and made the haircut experience not such a drab in which you’d get in any generic salon or barber. Clean, Good area, and professional. Would recommend and I’ll be back in the future!

It was an awesome experience ( not just a haircut) Tami did great job .very detailed and patient. The facility is unique. The team is Very friendly and welcoming . Have a cocktail or cigar while you wait . Maybe even shoot a game of pool . I will definitely return next time I am in town !

How do I even compare this place to anything I’ve ever experienced.. first of all I have been getting haircuts nearly every week for 20 plus years of my life. Gemma was world class, friendly, jokey, and hands down the best person I ve ever had cut my hair. I do t think I’ve even ever left a review on google but for her and her customer service I am. The moose is amazing. Best make haircut place ever. Do not look at the prices and raise your eyebrows. It was cheaper and the service is second to none.. hands down the BEST barber shop in Nashville!!!!!

Very high quality cut and beard trim. The barber did a great job. The setting is awesome very man cave Style. The cigar room downstairs is perfect to smoke a cigar and they have a simple selection of Bourbons and scotches to sip on before or after your cut. It was an awesome experience will come back again.

From the moment you walk in the door you are instantly treated with serious first class service by all who work there as you wait in an ultra plush lounge. Went in for a quick cut came out feeling like a new man. I had the cut and scalp treatment. April respected my hair and neatened up my crazy mop. This was my first time in a place that solely dealt with men and based on my previous experiences was head and shoulders above anything I’ve experienced before. I felt like a cowboy walking out. From the solid quick cut to the relaxing eucalyptus face treatment it was a good experience. 100% recommend any guy get his do done here. I don’t get my shizzle done often but when I do it should be as awesome as it was at the moose. Kinda sad I walked out to a cx5 instead of a built truck, but that’s next on the list. Everything was great. Besides the price 50$ for a medium fade seems a bit much for something simple. It was first time going I liked the atmosphere of the place but I can't see myself spending that kinda money for a haircut

If you are visiting and treating yourself, you made a good decision; however, it's going to suck to go back to your hometown barber. Just saying. I’ve been to the Moose periodically over the years to treat myself to a classic cut, a beer, and cigar and have always enjoyed the experience. Atmosphere and service are impeccable. This time around was my first ever beard trim. My appointment was with Zachary. He was a great hang and very informative of how I can best maintain my beard and grow it out properly. I definitely recommend him and the Moose highly.

I haven't used a haircut place in years, I was quite nervous but went here for.. well, multiple reasons but I choose Moose and got an appt with Eric. I love the private room feel. I didn't enjoy a beer this go, but could have :) I told him what I wanted, maintenance wise and told him what bothered me and why I was getting the cut and all that. We decided to go with a kinda viking style mohawky thing to go with my beard, to test and maybe then cut off the back if I didn't like it. I'm taking it for a test run but, I do like it. He was great to chat with, very patient with my indecisiveness and was a pro at what he does. I am the type of guy who finds something/someone he likes then never changes it until he has to so, Eric I hope it was as good for you as it was for me bro because I won't be going to anyone else in the future xD. Solid cut, they give you a seltzer or beer to drink while you're there, and it has a great woodsy atmosphere. Good option for a reasonably priced haircut if you just need a quick one but don't want to Supercut it. They use Reutzel products as well as some others, which I enjoyed. Haley gave a great cut and was so kind. I'd go back for sure.

Told him exactly the haircut I wanted and he did it perfect the first time. He can also shape and trim beards very well. I would recommend this barbershop to anybody in Nashville. Worth every penny! This place is top notch and Johnny is the best craftsman I’ve experienced so far in my 30+ years of getting my hairs cut. I have to be honest I was a bit hesitant going here for my first time. This is usually the case when finding a new barber or hairstylist. It’s similar to finding a good mechanic. When you find a good one you want have them for life and tell everyone about your new secret weapon. Beyond trying out someone and somewhere new, I also had some reservations because the higher price point and the fact that I was getting my beard trimmed up (which I’ve been growing for 7 months now). I was looking for someone who would ask the right questions, personalize their approach, and not just give the same hair cut,trim or, hack job that they give everyone else. I decided to book with Johnny because I figured I’d be in good hands when i saw that he was rocking a beard as well ( have you seen it? Well done good sir!) The great communication started with the online booking where I was prompted with a question and given the opportunity to share note with my barber. I thought to myself, well, “I’ll give this a go but they probably don’t even read them.” I was wrong. Upon meeting Johnny and sitting in his chair, he addressed my comments immediately and i was immediately set at ease. I could go on and on about all the little and important details of my experience but I’ve rambled enough. Johnny is the real deal. The moose is top notch. My beard looks outstanding and better than I could’ve hoped for. My haircut (wasn’t even my focus or concern) is probably the best I’ve ever had. Thank You Johnny. Thank You Moose. The service, the feel of the place is second to none. You don't just get the quick turnover treatment. They have different areas to hang out while you wait. They gave my husband a great haircut, a little bit pricy but it was worth it I would however skip the eyebrow maintenance this was not worth the price if I'm honest. I was expecting them to wax his brows because he doesn't like me to pluck them and they just trimmed with scissors and a razor. But the haircut was the best he has had in a while and he is very fussy.

Great place! I love the atmosphere and waiting area. They've got guitars and Pool table and offer you coffee cokes beers or cocktails while you wait. I called 3 hours prior the day before thanksgiving and they still were able to work me in and gave me a fantastic head massage with hot tea tree towel, shampoo and condish, and the cut was top notch! You’ll love this little gem on music row. For 38 bucks you cannot beat it! Hell I showed up 45 min early n got a drink and shot a few games of pool, that was worth the 38 bucks right there! 😜 I’ll def be back!!

Full line of haircare products, and if you want to show up early, you can choose from cigars, whiskey, bourbon, scotch and beer (I think that's a song) which you can enjoy in their lounge area. This is the most classy, and masculine place I've ever gone to get a shave. I went to get straight razor shave and I was amazed by the waiting room. By far one of the most unique, upscale men's haircutting establishments I've visited. I stopped in traveling for work and it's truly an experience. It's a residence, that's been re-purposed beautifully for an amazing experience. Move over ladies, the men are coming in to be pampered! From the decor, to the selection of bourbons and beers, you leave with a sense of relaxation. Shampoo, hot towel, cut, then the straight razor. They provide a pretty lavish experience with complimentary drinks. You can purchase cigars that can be smoked in the cigar lounge below the salon. The staff are professional and highly skilled. It can be pricey, but it is a great way to pamper yourself.

Ok, so i've had my haircut 2x now. Couldn't be happier. I did a review on Quintessential Gentleman up in Baltimore, and this is the closest thing i found here in Nashville. A man's place where laid back girls cut your hair, massage your scalp, give you a razor to the nape as well as a hot towel on your face to relax the stress away. Many different packages, i simply go for the haircut, but they do manicures, skin treatments among other services. Worth a look if you're tired of the generic salons and barbers.
