Love this place! I took my 3yr old in for a haircut and Chris made him feel very comfortable. He worked with him being a kid and squirming around. It wasn't super busy the day we went but we also had made an appointment and didn't have to wait at all. I've read some of the other reviews, one saying it was very religious and another saying a customer next to their child was cussing up a storm. Well, I didn't get a religious feeling, also it is a barbershop where mostly it's only men, or that's how it was when I had been in a barber shop before, also it was a customer not one of the employees. I myself cuss in front of my kids because I am always 100% myself in front of them. As for the one that talks about some of the employees whispering, I can say that I've never been to any Salon that doesn't have gossip, so why should the barbershop be expected to be any different?! Also, you don't know what they were discussing, it could've been one asking the other for advice on what they were doing at the moment, can we please as a society stop taking everything to heart like it's being directed at us in a negative way?!

This is the Best place for a beard trim and/or haircut. I am bald so I can rate the beard. I sport a long beard and I love the job my barber Sebastian does on my beard every moth making it fit my style and look. I have seen the barbers work on others that come in children and adults. The haircuts are top notch. The atmosphere in the shop is lively and fun. FIVE STARS ALL DAY!!!

Chris at the Boulevard does an amazing job! I went to this place when the opened up years ago, moved out of town for a while, and he's got my business again! I will admit that I walked in to his shop today looking rough and in real need of a good cut. I walked out looking clean, fresh, and ready to go! The price is on par with the quality of your cut and the customer service you receive! I highly recommend giving them a visit, because they'll make sure you're all taken care of!

Chris and Dennis with the rest of the gang are the best of the best! Need to use Booksy to book an appointment ahead of time. They use to take walk-ins, but due to Co-vid you have to book ahead now. Moe might take walk-ins. Best haircut, good guys, can't go wrong here.

This was the best experience I ever had at a barber. Chris Rivas was positive and friendly. I let him do his thing and he went all out. I got a great haircut I love, and he trimmed my neck and beard etc. He just cleaned up my whole appearance and I left feeling like a million bucks. Plus these guys are very community oriented, and I value that very much! I will never go to a chain store again!!!

Amazing hair cuts and beard cleanups. I used to drive a state away (when I lived in Alabama) to get my hair cut here. Chris, Dennis and Roddrick are amazing barbers. Prices are fair and you always leave looking great. 10/10. I'd give it more stars if I could.

I had always going to Brad's Barber Shop here in Madison because it's 3 blocks from my house. I work Monday through Friday so I can't go then on Saturday when I go I have to wait 30 to 45 minutes no matter what time I go. The last time I went to this place and the people were nice and they got me right in and did a good job on my hair. What I did notice is the first two Barbers next to the window we're whispering things to each other which I felt like is inappropriate and probably made some people feel uncomfortable I know it did me, but I will go back and see how it is the next time. Other than that little incident I would rate this place highly

We recently took our son here for his first haircut... not really knowing what to expect, as this was our first time to Boulevard. The interior was comfortable, relaxed and unpretentious - which we enjoyed. Not only were both of the guys working that day (Rodderick and Matthew) really friendly, but Matthew did a great job with our son's hair - which was no easy task, given he is an unruly 2-year old ;) In the time we were there, I also witnessed both guys give a couple of nice cuts to other customers as well. Am happy to have found this place and look forward to supporting a neighborhood small business like Boulevard Barber in the future!

Excellent job. Rodderick cut my hair; my hair can be reallybl diffucult to cut because I have a double crown, but he did better than anyone's who has ever cut is has. Also the cleanest fade I've ever had. I don't remember the name of the guy that cit my sons hair, but he did a great job too. Plus the entire barber shop environment was excellent. Great barbers who pay attention to detail. I took my son here for a haircut. The only issue I had was a guy who was sitting next to us cussing like a sailor in front of my son. The staff didn't do anything to stop the behavior But it was busy with lots of noise so maybe they didn't notice But then again we were in a barbershop.

First time there so I asked for someone who did good beards. Younger girl was doing a great job on someone’s beard. She hadn’t eaten and she needed to eat. Totally understand, she told me to speak to the gentleman in the center. He told me I would be next. Then someone who had called earlier came in he explained to him and the gentleman said he would wait. Then the guy asked the young girl if she could take me next. I knew she couldn’t but her response is what got me. She literally looked at me and turned her nose up explained why she couldn’t. Be careful you never know when you’re being watched. She was tired and hungry and I under stood.

This is the shop you need and want... Every other shop I've been to can't touch this place by any means.. I went in with the 1st time and was expecting it to be the same way as all of the rest of the shops I've been to " leave not happy" but Dennis asked how I wanted it done and all I said was make me look we then a ragdoll.. and I came out 1000 times better than I was expecting to look...
