Being from out of town, I tried a few different barbers before discovering The Barber Social. As someone who rocked a mullet at the time, it was hard to find someone I could trust with my look at the time. I went to Alex (Wiscutz) to maintain my mullet and he absolutely knocked ur out of the park every time I came in to get it touched up. When I decided to change it up and go with a shorter cut, he cleaned it up perfectly and gave me exactly what I was looking for. Once summer came around, I decided to go even shorter and this guy hasn’t missed on a fade (not pictured) a single time. No matter what you’re looking for, Alex is going to exceed your expectations. The cut itself, the conversations, and the shop atmosphere are all an 11/10.

TJs an old friend of mine and I just got my first haircut with him today. Couldnt be more happy with the cut and the setup is insane. So clean and such good vibes. I’ve had terrible experiences trying to find a classic barber over the years. Even resorted to cutting my own hair through Covid. This was the first shop I checked out after deciding to let someone else do it again. Upon first impression the shop has a very relaxed and modern barber shop feel. Alex asked through the whole cut what I was thinking and didn’t do the classic “cuts hair that you didn’t want cut” which always happens when I’ve been elsewhere. I think for me the search is over and I’ll be going here for a crispy fade at a reasonable price.

Stop looking for a barber in the Milwaukee area. TJ is the man you have been looking for! His studio has a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere which matches TJ’s personality perfectly. He holds great conversation and is the type of person that can talk to anybody. He is very detailed and careful when it comes to the haircut , he doesn't whip through it and will not let you leave his chair until you are happy. I wholeheartedly recommend this shop to anyone wanting an actual barbershop experience.
