Walked in here about a year ago after my wife said it was time to abandon Supercuts. Jake is my barber, I say “my barber” because I am now possessive of him. He’s oddly become a household name in our home. My kids love him, I love him - I’m worried my wife may start to love him. Jake is a master of his craft. He’s the kind of guy you hope your children grow up to be, a genuine class act. Rick the owner of this barber shop has assembled a dream team of barbers - they are all kind and I never fail to laugh while I’m there. If their was a barber shop version of “The Office”, this shop would be a great place to film. Getting a fresh cut is about the only free time I get in a week, it’s nice to head in here and shut down for 45 minutes - REFRESHING. I won’t ever go anywhere else.

Went in to get a haircut with Danil. It was worth every penny, I love my cut, as he was working he would ask questions regarding how you would like certain things and he executes accordingly. I enjoyed having a conversation with him. This is the first time I’m going to this barbershop and I will keep on coming back. The facilities and atmosphere are great aswell, the owners payed lots of attention to detail.

Jake is the man! Not only does he give a great cut but he is personable and easy to talk to during the visit. My 2 year old son loves his haircuts and time in Jake’s chair too. The lollipops are a nice bonus too!

Fantastic place to get a haircut! Had Jake cut my hair and couldn’t be more pleased with how it came out. Hanging with him and Danil was an absolute pleasure, alongside the haircut, awesome chat and relaxing environment with those guys. I am so glad I found Danil again after he transferred from the Merrimack location! He's a great conversationalist but, he's chill with a silent cut if requested. I have gone to many other barber shops in the area but, I gladly drive 30 minutes out of the way for a fantastic cut and beard trim with Danil.

What can we say about the Polished Man - Bedford? As I sit here on the gilt leather couch sipping on the robust house bourbon I can’t help but admire the atmosphere of the ‘shop. Some say that in our modern age it’s hard to find real art. However, while the internet age has the masses focused on NFTs and AI generated art, the Polished Man - Bedford is a welcome haven to those who appreciate true artwork. Lo, I find myself wrapt with attention as the barbers before my eyes start to perform their beautiful dance. I can’t help but contrast the skill of Jake, Danil, and Eli to that of the great master Leonardo. Their command over the buzzers and scissors quickly make even the most disheveled and unkempt troglodyte into a regal caricature befitting the most distinguished courts of powerful 17th century European Kingdoms. It was quite a sight to behold. And I also liked my haircut. 10/10 would come again.

If you’re looking for a new barber and place to go this is where you want to be. The shop transformers you back in time with the layout of the shop and makes you feel comfortable from the moment you step in. I’ve had the pleasure of having Jake as my barber and he is wonderful. He has been the best barber I have truly ever had, I had him to my hair for my wedding and each haircut after gets better and better. Jake puts you at ease and you have an overall wonderful time. Take advantage of the few slots he has open cause they fill up fast and he’s worth it.

I had been Trying to find a good local barber shop that offered more than just a haircut. When polished man in Bedford opened up I booked an appt with Jake, and been going there ever since. It’s a great atmosphere and all the other barbers are nice and friendly. Jake has a very calm & chill demeanor and knows how to give a great haircut.

So a few days ago I was in need of a haircut real bad. So I thought I would check out this barbershop that had been recommended to me by friends. Boy were they right. What a neat place. The barbers were awesome and friendly. This one barber Danil Noordergraaf was such a Professional and did an amazing job on the Clients ahead of me. Would strongly recommend. Unfortunately he was not available to cut mine so this other worker Jake did mine. Still came out really nice. 10 out of 10 shaggy heads recommend

My son saw Jake 2 times. Had a pretty good experience with Jake. This time, he saw Danil and was almost in tears when I picked him up from his haircut. He cut it way shorter than was requested, and blended the cut horribly. As soon as we got home, he took a shower, threw a hat on, and refused to take it off. Would recommend Jake, but definitely not Danil. The only reason I am giving them 3 stars instead of 1 is because we did have good experiences with Jake prior to this last one.

Jake did a great job on my sons haircut. My son is 7 and Jake made him feel super comfortable by talking about things that my son was interested in. I love the way the cut came out and my son had a big smile on his face showing us that he loved it as well. We will be back to see Jake again for sure!

I had Eli as my barber and he was super professional and super polite! He made sure I was getting exactly what I was looking for and was a strsss free experiance.
