We've gone to Laura at the Little Rock Cantrell location since my 6th grade son was in 2nd grade! With Covid we kind of let his hair grow a while, and then we moved about 45 minutes away so we tried another place, but had a horrible experience. He's been unhappy with his hair for a while! We decided it was more than worth it to drive a little ways to be able to know that we'll be happy with what he gets. Laura is always super fast (because she knows what she's doing not because she's in a hurry), professional, doesn't make my son feel like a "little kid" while also nonchalantly turning the TV station to something more tailored to his age group. She gives him/us suggestions and directions on styles and products without 'selling,' and overall, we are just really, truly always so happy with her! Especially now that my son is in middle school and is self conscious of his hair... I haven't seen him this happy/confident in probably 2 years, and that's not an exaggeration! Thank you Laura!!

Recently moved this area. I’ve tried multiple barbershops and have been disappointed with their overall outcome. I found V’s in a search online figured I’d give it a try. April is who took care of me and I can say she does great work with attention to detail . definitely worth the money best haircut and beard trim I’ve had.

Having gone to the same barber for 6 years, I am always skeptical about having to get my hair cut while traveling (I’m not from Arkansas). Liz provided one of the best razor fades I have ever had. Her attention to detail is unmatched! Typically, I don’t post reviews, but this was an exceptional experience! Though I don’t come to Little Rock often, I will make sure to have Liz cut my hair anytime I am here.

Finally getting around to leaving this review. Liz killed it on my fade a couple of weeks ago. I've had a few great cuts from different barbers here and they've all been great but this has been probably my favorite one! Pretty good considering how thicc and curly my hair is!

I love the staff here. The barbers here are friendly and very well trained professionals. Tonya is my go to for her skills and her attitude. Saturdays are "walk in" only so go early to minimize your wait. Never had a bad experience here.

Laura Summers is as consistent as they come in her profession. Even "professionals" can have a bad or off day. Not so with Laura...she's always on point....always engaging...a superb conversationalist...and does all the right extra things that make your visit with here a consistent pleasure. If Laura were to leave V's , I would follow her to wherever her new posting would be. Its hard to find the right somebody who understands your hair and deliver a righteous cut each and every time. Laura is such the keeper.... Pt2. Saw Laura on Halloween day and her costume was a hoot. Shes an awesome barber with an even more awesome personality. Both of those things together assure your gonna have a great cut and a great experience....nuff said. UPDATE: Laura Summers is still as awesome and professional as the rest of the world should be. She is an awesomely talented stylist and a credit to V's outstanding franchise !!!

I made a reservation at 9 AM on a Saturday and I believe I was seen right on time. Ashley was my barber and woo! She did an amazing fade all the while making fun conversation. Reasonably priced and amazing quality haircut. I got the medium fade with a hard line and it was done perfectly. I will definitely recommend this business and be back soon!

Great experience!!! I had an appointment scheduled for 5:15pm. I showed up at 4:15pm trying to beat the traffic. Deidra got me in at 4:40pm and took great care of me. I was only coming in for a beard trim but i got hot towels on my face, a massage and she gave me the option to watch whatever i wanted to on the TV. Deidra made sure i felt at home right there in the chair. I definitely will return for the experience for sure!!!

Took my 4 year old in, and was lucky to get Mrs D (Diedrah, not sure on spelling). I’ve been going to different barbershops for over a year now, trying to find someone who could do a high fade and tie in the top the way I wanted it done in my head. Mrs D nailed it! She was amazing. I think I found my 2 year olds barber for his first cut too. Mrs D will be my boys go to barber going forward. Highly recommend her.

Laura gave me a head shave for the first time and let me tell you it was well worth the money. She was very informative during the process explaining how I could maintain care of my head between shaves and she also trimmed my beard to blend into my head shave. I think I've already given the same review before. But Allie does a great job with cleaning up my beard. And I like that she keeps the conversation light and doesn't get too invasive. When I've gone to other barber shops I've had to hear about someone complain about their personal problems and opinions on the world and that's not why I'm there. I'm there to get a haircut. She does a good job at keeping the conversation light and keeping the beard straight! Update: I've used two different girls (Allie & Ashley) and I've had similar experiences- both kept the mood light and did the haircut perfect. They were both professional and both also taught me some little tricks to keep my beard in line until my next appointment. Good peoples! I recommend them a lot.

I’ve been wanting to branch out and explore what my options were besides the usual Sport Clips and I was a little anxious. I’ve been getting my hair cut at the same place for years, I mean everything is good there and how much better can it be??? Well let me tell ya, I’m glad I set up an appt and finally pulled the trigger to venture out of my comfort zone. I was greeted with hospitality and the cleanliness is spot on. There was ample room, the staff was friendly and the cut was superb! I not only got a fantastic fade with no flaws, they massaged my shoulders and they’re straight razor certified! Having a straight razor line up is life changing...you won’t pass up an opportunity for that option. So needless to say, I’m done with my vanilla cuts and making the switch to V’s Barbershop. There’s not a bad thing I can say about this place other than it’s not located closer to my house.

I personally would have enjoyed if the face massage lasted longer and the amount of time a warm towel was over my face was cut down a little. Great service, fast service, great price, and quality product. These are just some of the reasons we love V’s babershop in our household! My son is there every two weeks to see his favorite barber, Hugo! He is phenomenal! My son always falls asleep, he is so delicate with his all of his equipment. My sons hair looks like artwork and it literally takes Hugo 15 minutes! Everyone at the barber shop treats you like you’re family! The atmosphere is absolutely perfect. My personal favorite part is the hot towel and massage they give when my son gets his haircut. I could only imagine it’s the absolute best feeling. It truly is the overall package. My son looks amazing every time! In the past year or so with Hugo we have never had a problem, EVER. Always fast, perfect, and a great price! You can also get your shoes shined!

Great experience! I have a new regular barber, after years of just going to random convenient places. The people really take their time and work to make everything perfect. You can tell they really enjoy their craft, and their work demonstrates that. The management seems to treat the employees very well, which just leads to an overall pleasing environment If you go in on a Saturday, there is more appointment needed. They are closed on Sunday, unfortunately. I really recommend this shop if you are looking for a new barbershop to call yours. 💈

I visited this shop for the first time a few days ago for a deluxe beard trim and neck shave. I was amazed. The shop was pristine and nicely decorated, the staff was very welcoming. Observing everybody as they left the shop, everyone there has amazing barber skills. Tonya took care of me and I cannot say a bad thing about anything I experienced. She did a GREAT job on the beard and helped me figure out what I wanted, and is an extremely nice person. I will be back and I hope Tonya is available when I go. :-)

I travel a lot for work and am always looking for a local place to get a cut and shave. I had Tori cut my hair and she did a great job asking questions about my preferences and kept a conversation going to make me feel welcomed. Great bubbly personality. Tori did not have her barbers liscense so Ray did my beard and straight razor work. Very chill, nice guy. Got to talking about sports and he too made me feel very welcomed. He didn’t rush and took the time to make sure my beard was lined up to perfection. All in all it was a great experience. If you’re getting your beard trimmed and lined up I highly recommend the Deluxe. 2 hot towels and one cold towel left my face feeling Clean and refreshed. Looking forward to coming back here again the next time I’m in Little Rock.

Took my finacée here for The Works on his birthday and he absolutely LOVED the experience. They are by appointment only on the weekdays. The manager called me back since our barber had a family emergency a few days before our appointment and Tonya offered to fill in. We were so pleased and she definitely took amazing care of us! After a negative experience last spring I was contacted relatively quickly by the owner in an attempt to rectify the problem. Owner was nice, courteous, and generally concerned. However, I live 4 hours away and frankly didn't have opportunity to re-visit the shop. Recently I learned that the young barber who's customer service was so bad, received more complaints and was dismissed from the shop. I have friends that live just down the street and they speak highly of the V's. I'm heading back thru Little Rock Thursday for the start of racing season at Oaklawn and plan on giving V's a second chance. I recommend you give them a try as well, They want to be the premier shop in central Arkansas.
