Best barber shop I've been in years! Miguel and the entire staff are very professional and courteous. Great service and you book your appointment online. I've been going here for two weeks and I've been satisfied with the service and the cleaness of this barber shop. I would recommend this barber shop to get your fresh cut and beard trim. Great fades! Took my husband, son and nephew here to different Barbers and they all did great! One was last minute walk in and they were kind enough to see him even though they were closing soon. Highly recommend this place. Not a fast in and out but worth the wait!

Liv did my hair great! I appreciate how she really pays attention to detail and makes sure to do the style you want. She brainstormed ideas and brought up pictures from online and past clients before starting on the cut to make sure we were on the same page. All the other barbers seem to be really talented too, and the shop has a good clean environment with music. Recommend getting an appointment beforehand especially if you're trying to see a specific barber.

My guy vic here is insane with the clippers. He’s a Hard worker, works late, never says no to a last minute appointment. He’s the guy. His attention to detail is insane. Easily the best barber I’ve had. 🤙🏾 This shop has a great sense of community. Love the vibes and the fact that they have lady barbers who are equally cold. Just love to see it.

After relocating to houston and going through three to four different barbers I’ve finally locked in my go-to spot at MVC. Found this place last minute Friday afternoon and we all know how that goes. Called ahead and was in a chair in 20 minutes. The shop has a good atmosphere that makes it welcoming to all ethnicities and ages. Victor is my barber at the shop. He’s very professional, personable, and is most definitely skilled at his craft. I’ve referred two friends to him and will continue to do so every chance I get. Jazz is AMAZING!! She’s super nice, friendly and patient. She cuts my boys hair and I wouldn’t go to anyone else. She’s very punctual with her appointments which is huge for me. Friendly, professional, and skilled! I came in not knowing what to do with my hair, and Liv had the patience to brainstorm ideas with me for like, 10 minutes before even starting the haircut. I also asked her to explain every step of the haircut so that I could try to replicate it myself at home, and she happily agreed. She did a killer job, and I have no doubt the rest of the team is just as talented and friendly. I'll absolutely be coming back.

I first started going to MVC off of a recommendation from my brother who has been going here for several years. Honestly, the first few times I was a bit underwhelmed, as the barber did everything I asked for him not to do. Needless to say, I skipped going there, and opted to go to another establishment a few more miles away, and a bit more expensive. Still not the greatest haircut, but it was a bit of an improvement. The other day, I was in a bind and really needed to get in and out quickly, and there was only one person open, and this turned out to be the luckiest day I’ve had for a haircut in many months. The minute I sat down in Lauran’s chair, I knew I was in good hands. I explained to her exactly what I wanted, and she listened intently, also asking a few question to further determine what I really wanted. My hair grows in a few different directions (the old dreaded “cowlick”), but she easily identified them and knew exactly how to work and incorporate those little buggers into the final cut. A truly fantastic job, Lauren! Bravo! You can bet I’ll be back in a few weeks to get an upkeep trim. Thanks again! UPDATE: Had a last minute Christmas party to go to, and was in a bad need of a “touch-up), luckily, when I walked in, Lauren was there, her seat was open, and she worked her usual magic. Got tons of compliments at my party, and felt amazing! Again, will definitely be back!

Moving here from a College Station I didn’t have a barber. I tried one guy closer to where I live in Katy didn’t like the cut. I was in the area and needed a cut. I found MVC Cuts and Herb had been my barber from day one of me walking in. Getting a haircut with Herb is well worth the 30 minute drive. I trust him to give me a fresh fade with a crisp edge up. If you’re looking for a barber who knows what he’s doing I highly recommend Herb. Hit him up!

Ever since I moved to the area I kept looking for a new barber. And didn’t have any luck. I went to roscos and other places and just couldn’t stick with it. But as soon as I went to Mvc first time was a walk in. And I sat down in jazz chair. Was a little iffy about it ag first. But once she finished I couldn’t have asked for a better fade. One of the coldest out there. I’d recommend anyone to go here right before an interview and she will leave you sharp and icy. Highly appreciate her hard work.

John is simply the best barber period! Never had a bad hair cut from him, always consistent with his cuts and always a 10/10. He listens to what you want and is extremely detailed with his work. My boy John (JB) is the guy to go to STRAIGHT UP ! will have you looking like a million bucks once you get off that barber seat. Although I did not visit this establishment for a haircut, I feel compelled to share my experience. While traveling long distance with my family, our dog got sick in the backseat of the car, we pulled over to the nearest gas station and realized that we did not have anything to clean up. After visiting the gas station and not finding anything we could use, I walked over to MVC Barbershop. When I entered the shop, I was promptly greeted, I then proceeded to ask what I would think is a pretty unconventional question " do you have any towels I can buy to clean my car? " Without hesitation, the barber I spoke to stopped what he was doing, walked to the back, grabbed a few towels and handed them to me. I asked, can I pay you for these? He said don't worry about it with a smile. Lupe has created an environment befitting both the client and the barber. The shop is clean, as it is easy to manage, and is only getting better and better. Went there for a haircut today for a much needed post-quarantine cut. My barber was Mike, who cut my hair well and had a lot of patience with multiple requests since I didn't know exactly what I wanted. He was fun to talk to, and got my hair and beard to look clean-cut exactly how I pictured. I'm used to great barber shops charging $25 Max and $5 with tip but $40 with tip is just ridiculous. I guess they're making us pay for their upgraded floors and the pool table. The gentleman thanked me for my review even though I wasn't there to see him. Being recognized for your feedback on someone's business was a first for me and it says a lot about how they do business. One, they care a lot about you as a customer. Two, it means they take your feedback seriously. Three, with that kind of responsiveness it will bring in more business. I went into MVC for the first time today after a long search for a good barber/stylist and lucky me, I landed in Lupe's chair. I asked what I wanted and then he questioned to be sure. He then went to work and cut my hair, trimmed my eyebrows and shaped up my goattee. The amount of time and detail that he paid to my goattee alone was incredible. He stepped back a few times to make sure it looked just right. After he was done, he explained in detail exactly which clipper settings he had used on top of my head and on the sides. It was an AWESOME experience! Lupe has a golden touch with scissors and clippers! I'll definitely be back in three weeks. There won't be anymore waiting until I just have to get my hair cut and putting it off even more now that I've found MVC and Lupe.
