I had one of the best haircuts of my life here. Thank you Matt! Great consultation, great cut (mid fade with a little taper) and now I will be looking forward to the next time I’m in town to get a haircut. I cannot recommend this place and Matt enough. Honestly, I causally found them cuz they are next to Mono and had good reviews. I called and got an appt with Matt by random. I am so glad that I did.

"I feel like they took the craft seriously, but not the business" -my man. I wanted to gift my bf a nice haircut and the social media pages of Mojo, coupled up with the fact that we have passed by for years, had me sold. I attempted to make a reservation online and couldn't. I called, and after speaking with the receptionist, whose attitude wasn't all that pleasant, I was able to book the appt for him. I asked if I could complete payment with her over the phone as I wanted to pay for him; she said "they rather you pay at the time of the haircut " which baffles me cause the website has an option to prepay (granted, the website doesn't seem to work). Maybe this is too old-fashioned, but I remember my elders going to a barbershop and being a whole experience. I subconsciously wanted this for my bf, and didn't consider how times have changed. The haircut he got by Jose looks AMAZING ! My bf couldn't stop complementing how serious Jose took his job and how precise he was. He also noticed how unkempt and dusty the barbershop was; from counters to decorative liquor bottles, there was dust everywhere. Perhaps a little more tlc inside would have encouraged my bf to get a beard trim or enquire more about products etc. This is definitely a huge step up from super cuts and it could be better.

I’ve been 3 times now to see Matthew for a haircut, it’s been great each time. The place is super clean, and Matthew is amazing at what he does. I’m sure all the barbers there are just as good but I’ve stuck with him each time and glad I did. I recommend checking it out, you’ll be glad you did and will most likely rebook. I’ve been very impressed and happy each time. 10/5 stars if possible!

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Matt for the past 2 years and I’ve never looked back. His cuts are the best I’ve ever had and always consistently delivers. Super genuine guy and always takes the the time to take interest. Definitely became a friend over the years and more than just my barber I go to. Always leave feeling refreshed and more than satisfied with my cut. 10/10 would recommend asking for him!

I have lived in Hawaii for 7 years bouncing between islands and MOJO barbershop is the best cut i have had. I have hit up almost every shop in the area and this is the best. I walked in no appointment and they were busy.. Alia fit me right in and gave me one of the tightest skin fades and cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. She took her time and did an amazing job. You definitely get your moneys worth at mojos. Recommending to everyone I know.

If you're looking for a haircut from professionals, this is the place to go. Everyone here, has a lot of experience and is there for their customers wants and needs. From the front desks to the barbers, you can tell they love what they do, they are all nice, and enjoy working there. The atmosphere here is refreshing, spacious, and has multiple televisions that are placed for everyone's convenience. I mostly go to Josh. He is really good at was he does, and makes sure you leave with the haircut that you're looking for. I highly recommend him!! The other week I went to Alia. She took the time to look at the type of haircut I was looking for and she made sure I left with the style I wanted. Mojo's gives excellent service and haircuts. Always left being fresh and satisfied. The pricing is higher than normal prices, but worth it if you're looking for a quality haircut.

I had a great experience at Mojo Barbershop. During these times of Covid 19 they did a good job at implementing procedures to protect customers and staff. A guy named Taylor cut my hair and he was very skilled at providing advice on what might work for me. I wanted to try something new and short, and he did a great job at making me look good. When my GF saw me she was very happy. The interior design of the shop is very nice and you can feel that you are getting a premium level of service. I was early for an appointment in this part of town and was in need of a haircut. I saw Mojo Barbershop and decided to check it out. I don't usually go to a barbershop on a whim without doing any research but it was right next to my appointment. William Ly took me right away and gave me the best haircut of my life. I'm 27 years old and have been getting my haircut about twice a week since the age of 17. So let's see, that's about 260 haircuts in the past 10 years... and this one was by far the best. William, although young, is the Mozart of cutting hair. He quickly studied my hair as if he was solving a complex math problem and then started his work. He cut my hair with such care and detail as if he had been cutting my hair his whole life. He takes his craft seriously and asked all the right questions. In my eyes, he is the BOAT (Barber Of All Time). So if you are reading this ask yourself - would you pay $40 for the best haircut of your life?

We walked in and Josh took care of us even though he was just about to leave. My son has super Straight hair that shows every single cut. A great cut is hard to fake on him! We got the greatest cut we’ve had in Hawaii for sure!! Totally made my picky kid happy and handsome!!

I was a little hesitant at first going back to the barber with covid but once I saw how clean & spread apart the clients are at Mojos I was relieved. Even how they clean the chairs between people is impressive. My barber was Mathew Ngo & he gave me exactly the cut I wanted. A burst fade to skin. I also got a beard trim & he faded my beard to blend with my cut. I couldn’t be happier with my cut! He took his time to get it right, I didn’t feel rushed or hurried out of his chair. I highly recommend this shop & Mathew.

Wonderful experience. Professional looking shop for sure. I wanted a very specific cut and I don't trust most barber shops on this island but they double checked the pictures that I showed and made it EXACTLY that. A bit expensive but I'll pay $40 for what I want over $10-15 for something that I instantly regret

I honestly look forward to getting my hair cut here. You can set your appointment online and they send you a reminder by txt message. When I show up I am greeted by friendly employee's and the person who cuts your hair comes up greets you and walks you to your chair. I normally go in for a haircut and a beard trimming. Normally I am getting an appointment at the last minute so I haven't been able to get the same barber every time but I have walked out with my hair exactly how I wanted it every time. It is a little on the pricey side but I can tell you that it is money well spent.

Guys, this is THE place to get your haircut done. The barber's here are great! I've never walked out dissapointed with my haircut. You can even have a beer while you're there! They have an great sellection of products you need to keep you looking good too. They have 2 locations King Street and Downtown.

The shop has a nice vibe and style that is missing from most of Honolulu. Everywhere you go, there are all the same designer shops and ridiculous ABC stores on every corner with a lack of originality and variety Mojo is a breath of fresh air. Worth a visit.
