I was on vacation from out of town when I wanted to cut off my hair. My partner and I found this spot close to Waikiki and walked there. We loved it, Lisa was so much fun! She clearly loves her job and gives quick clean looking haircuts. I had 6-8 inches I wanted removed and she quickly did it while being mindful of the way my hair would change with less weight. She was kind, professional, and quick. I'd highly recommend her!

My husband and I both go to see Ms. Lisa. She does an excellent job with both male and female hair in my opinion and you can’t beat her prices. Call ahead is best as she is usually very busy because she’s very good! :)

Great service. I was a drop in to this barbers and DJ fitted me in no problem. As a visitor to the island I relied on the reviews here. She is great. Friendly and funny and a very good barber. Quick and understands exactly what you want. You also get a little head and neck massage afterwards. I can't recommend this barber shop enough. You can pay by cash or card and you will always be greeted with a friendly wave. Men's cuts start at only $14. Such a bargain no wonder she has so many regular clients. You can also call the shop to make an appointment.

This is a delightful barber shop with the nicest lady who owns and runs it. Her name is Lisa and she's Vietnamese. I watched her cut three other people's hair before it was my turn and she is fast and very skilled. If you're in the Waikiki area it's a 5 minute from Kapiolani Park or the Honolulu Zoo. She charged me $12 but I gave her $20 because I got exactly the haircut I wanted. She even gave me a few natural tips on thicker more luxurious hair which is what we all want right? I highly recommend this local barber shop and salon.

First time in Honolulu or Hawaii for that matter but desperately needed a trim and my beard shaved. The owner came in super clutch today !! Practically straight from the Airport to this area of Waikiki you will find this gem in the heart of one of the residential areas here. There was practically almost no wait. There was only one person ahead of me and he was about to finish. She made me feel at ease right away and she has a great eye on what works with my hair type. Not to mention that she was super fast ! (Not that I was in a rush) For being on an island the prices were very comparable to what you find on the East coast. Don't look anywhere else if you are looking for an awesome haircut or beard trim💈 Final Verdict: Five Stars !! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We take our boys here. It's a tiny, no frills, a real old fashioned barbershop. The owner is really nice. The prices are very affordable and she is fast and good with kids. My boys just get buzz cuts, so nothing fancy... but she does a good job on the edges and fading. Went around 2pm on a Wednesday and there were 3 others ahead of us and then a couple of more lined up after us, so she stays pretty busy but she is quick and efficient.

What a wonderful surprise; we got the best haircuts, for a great price and with the best service! Lisa was very kind and cut my hair exactly as I wanted! She did a great job on my hair! So happy with it. The day before I got a haircut from another place and the person made my hair super uneven, clumpy, and choppy. I came here, explained what I wanted, showed her a few pictures and she fixed me up and made my hair look amazing. I am so happy with her work and so thankful she was able to fix my previously horrendous cut. Definitely gonna be my go to place now. The only thing is that there was a little bit of a language barrier, so if you want an extremely unique or highly specific haircut it might be better to go to some kind of special stylist, but it's no doubt she does great work. Price was great also, only $14.

Lisa is one of the kindest and most efficient barbers I have ever been to. I was taken care of incredibly quick, and with little notice (30 minute call ahead). The price is unmatched as well. $14?!?!?! That is a steal, so make sure to tip her well. I will always use Lisa for my haircuts as long as I live in Honolulu.

Auntie was amazing! I randomly came in on a Sunday this January on vacation, and she managed to squeeze me in between two people. Although i would not suggest this because you can make reservations, but i didn’t know at the time. When i went in I didn’t really have an idea of a hair cut I wanted to get because i want to change my style because i’ve been balding. I showed auntie a photo, but she said it’s too long for my hair line now (which was a good call). So she made up a great cut on the fly. She was so fun to talk too the whole time and really made you feel at home on the island. I would give an extra honor besides 5 stars if i could!

Small little 2 seat haircut shop run by a sweet ol lady.. there might be two, but I only saw one when I came in. Just walked in and she took me in right away, even though she has a customer call in for an appointment 15 mins later. She took her time, talked to me and gave me a haircut that pleased me. ☺️ And it wasnt expensive! So if you need a haircut done, nothing over the top, or just trying to look clran, she'll hook you up!

I stumbled across this little barber shop while looking for an affordable place to get a weekly haircut. The friendly Vietnamese lady is very sweet and does a mean fade! (this is coming from a guy who’s had a fade cut weekly for the last 9 years) At a fraction of the cost of most places nearby, this is a great place to go for a quick cut. Don’t be afraid by the line, it goes by quite quickly!

I very rarely get my hair cut, and it is usually in a ponytail. With the higher temperatures of late, it was time for a change. Too hot, too hard to manage, and generally everywhere but where I wanted it. Only twice now have I been here for a haircut, but when I get out of the chair, and look at the finished result. Wow! It is just how I pictured it looking. And, coming from me, that's saying something. Prior to the present time I would only let my Mom, or my Wife go near my hair. Even for a trim. Good people, nice atmosphere, and a great job. I take my hat off to them at D J, and I don't mind what will be seen when I do. Thank you!

I've been going to this barbershop for years now. I'm not some fancy lad, so my haircuts are easy. Auntie doesn't charge much, and throws in backrubs after the cut, so I always tip her nicely. The line can be a bit long, but you are usually in and out within an hour.

It was decent for a $12 haircut. I realized when I got home she shaved up one side weird, which is not what I asked for and I had to just buzz it all, but the fade was decent. I wouldn't recommend for anything complicated and I would recommend being extremely descriptive about exactly what you want cut.

Good haircut from a local shop. Price of $12 for a haircut is more than reasonable. Walk ins are welcome and the line is usually short. Cash is accepted but I am unsure if credit or debit is accepted. Parking is the only drawback. You may have to park a block or two over due to a shortage of available, nearby parking.

This shop is affordable and popular, so it's best to make an appointment. Lisa is good at emulating any men's cut based on images you share. Albeit, as with any stylist, you'll need to advise her on your exact and specific requirements. Parking can be challenging since the shop is in a densely populated neighborhood.
