I found this shop on accident, and it's the best accident I ever had. It has that old school vibe to it that the best barber shops in the past strive for. I stumbled upon it after sport clips diced me up multiple times. It doesn't have those lights that are so bright that it gives you a headache. Ms. Kyla makes sure that she knows every single detail and even double checks before she starts so you never have a misunderstanding. To me that holds alot of weight and is very rare these days. I'll never go anywhere else. I have never had a better bald fade in my life. She doesn't try to rush to get you done but she isn't slow by any means and I'm telling you that you won't get a better quality cut. I'll never go anywhere else. Thank you for the consistent quality.

If you need a great cut go here! Make sure you make an appointment though. The do take walk-ins, but they are usually so busy that they can't accommodate.

This is a great barber shop in downtown Gulfport. I stopped in for the first time and was taken right away. Jay is an excellent barber! Highly recommend it!

OK. I do have to amend my review. My initial experience with the bearded owl Def didn't start off well. I was there shortly after open and watched people walk right in and sit in a chair that I thought would b my turn. However after being a baby, and storming out, I did learn of the online booking system(which the others i watched walk in had used), I went that route booked a cut. Went back and got am absolutely amazing cut by the barber Jay. He even managed to calm my spirit with patience and that I truly appreciate. For 20 bucks I just got the greatest trim I think k I've ever had. I will Def be going back but I do highly recommend using the on-line booking system though.

I was in this shop 2 weeks ago while on vacation. I walked in and was given a seat immediately. I was then given the very best bald fade and straight razor shave I have ever gotten by John. If I didn't live on the completely opposite side of the country, I would be in weekly for a shave.

Place was nice and clean Jeff cut my hair and did an amazing job will gladly go back. My son was with me and another barber asked him.if he wanted a cut and he said yes( I didn't plan on it) so she started cutting his hair. I asked for med fade half off on top and I don't know if she isn't used to curly hair or what but she butchered his hair and since it was curly it looked 15 different lengths. She was sweet but I think I will take my son elsewhere next time.
