So…. When your husband decides he wants to grow his hair out and him cutting his hair by himself with a 1/4in clip since longer than the 20+ years I’ve known him we didn’t know what kind of style it would be! So thanks to Kim she told me about this place called “Ya Man Barbershop” So, I setup an appointment for him and when he walked in my jaw DROPPED! I was swooning!!!! They not only have him a cut with an actual style (that he won’t stop looking at) but they waxed EVERYTHING on his face! I’m so excited he went there he looks amazing! I highly recommend! And we will be booking with them again! Thank you guys!!! My husband is so happy!

I was in the market for a new barber as my schedule changed and my current barber isn't available during my off time. I called Ya Man's and they were able to get me in later that day. I found my new spot! Edward did an amazing job. He took his time and was extremely thorough. It was like he was working on a piece of art and wanted perfection. I'm sold. Really great little shop! Couple of my best friends go to Yaseen to keep themselves lookin fly. The building is small and easily spotted with a welcoming feel as soon as you walk in. Very casual and friendly. They are full service. Barber, waxing, threading, facials, products, etc... my favorite part? All of the colors and joy! I watched several customers walk in that were greeted like family. Yaseen is an innovative guy and always willing to try something new. You won’t be sorry you checked them out! I’d say the only real improvement that could be made would be for them to someday have a larger space/parking situation. They are growing and it’s easy to understand why 😏

AR gave me a flawless cut and fade. I've been looking for- and finally found- a barber with the right eye who will spend the time going over the sides over n' over until its got that perfect fade from every angle. Spent a couple bucks more than the avg cut (30$ + tip) and worth every penny. Looking forward to getting my beard cut here too if i can ever grow one!

Came in as a walk-in, not knowing they'd were scheduled out. It was late evening, told me I could wait. Glad I did, A.R took the time, even though pushing past closing time. Didn't rush his job, which I appreciated! Next time, I'll make sure to schedule, as to not rush an artist!

This was by far the most impeccable, clean-cut and customer-care driven haircut experience I have received in a barbershop. It felt like an everyday neighborhood barbershop but with a VIP approach. Just try it, you will not regret getting a haircut here. Yaseen and Omer were both professional and friendly. I was greeted with tea and spacious seating while I waited for less than two minutes before my chair was ready. They worked to learn what I wanted for my cut and they advised on best cut/style for my kind of hair texture (which included recommending a better cut style and length than I would have asked for). They offer haircuts and facial trims, face and neck wax, etc. They wash your hair, provide warm face towels, etc. This barbershop is the true VIP treatment.

This is by far the greatest barbershop I have ever been in. From the moment I walked through the door I was greeted by friendly faces and a welcoming atmosphere. To say that Yaseen is great at what he does would be a true understatement. I don't think words can express the amount of passion and talent that this barber has. I have been to several highly rated barbers and while pleased with their work, none of them compare to the experience and hair/beard grooming I received here. This was my first time here, it was recommended by a friend. It is probably the best haircut that I can remember. I never knew how much hair was all over my face!! They waxed my ears and nose...not for the timid!! Did a facial dermabrasion with collagen treatment. Washed and conditioned my hair and finished relaxing with a cup of soothing tea. WOW guys do yourself a a favor and get a spa day for guys!! You will not be disappointed!!

Great Barber, Yaseen really knows what he's doing. I've been struggling to find a barber that knows how to handle my hair, since I'm biracial, I have curls that aren't really tight and aren't really loose. Awesome experience at Naseens shop. Very comfortable atmosphere. Haircut was phenomenal and exactly what I was looking for. I’ve been to several other barbers around Grand Rapids and Naseen tops them all. After my cut was finishes he was able fit in my son for his last cut of the day. My son was a little cranky after waking up to a haircut but Naseen had hooked him up with a Hershey bar and I think he liked the experience. Can’t wait to go back again with my son.

It is not a bad place to get a haircut since it's literally across the street from my house but 25 for a haircut and a beard trim or shave seems a bit much. The lady I had was very soft spoken and made my first time there comfortable. Just don't forget to tip or you'll get some side eye. All in all I recommend it.
