Made an appointment for my boyfriend to get cleaned up before a my moms wedding, Brittany was awesome! My boyfriend always just buzz cuts his own hair but has been growing it out to have a mullet. She made him feel comfortable, listened to his hair goals and gave him the perfect cut. He was super happy which made me super happy! He plans on go back regularly to bring his mullet dreams to life.

Got a last minute booking with Nya. Instantly I can tell this is one of the best haircuts and beard trims I've ever gotten. Very friendly and super professional! She was quick, thorough, and checked in on the progress a few times to make sure it was perfect! Highly highly recommend her to anyone looking for attention to detail and good haircut!

I scheduled an appointment for a Friday night and showed up to get my haircut and a beard trim. The lady that was doing my hair/face seemed to be new at it, which was fine because everyone's gotta start somewhere. While cutting my hair/face she had asked the manager for that shift for a little help, which the manager did twice. When it came to cutting my beard which she said she didn't have much experience with, she asked the manager for advice as to what number to use to cut it essentially in half of what was there. The manager gave her the advice, but I didn't agree on it because it seemed too short so I asked my stylist to use a different number than the manager had said since I was unsure myself. The manager then proceeded to tell her to not ask her another question so that she could finish cutting her customers hair quite rudely in front of me and another customer. The lady doing my hair apologized probably 10 times for the manager's rude comment. There was no reason to be disrespectful to her employee, let alone in front of the customers. The lady finished my hair and face and it turned out great, but she was very offended and taken aback by the way the manager essentially lashed out at her for asking for help. I'm sure nothing will come from this but that specific manager needs to learn some patience, because not everyone is going to agree with everything you say or do and there is no need to be that rude about it.

Jude’s Barbershop is a great place to get your haircut. The staff is so nice, their haircuts are always the best and very clean! During the pandemic they are very respectful of social distancing, mask wearing and upkeep on sanitation. 10/10 would recommend anyone to visit. Plus the interior walls are so cool to look at. Great vibes, great staff, great haircut 👍🏼

After waiting there for Maeve to get her station thoroughly sanitized and ready for me, she addressed me incorrectly as STEVE, and at that point, i knew i had the right girl. She was professional, courteous, did a great job in all aspects, and provided just enough edgy and fun conversation to complement the service. Overall, an excellent experience. Highly recommend.

Amanda cuts my hair and does an amazing job. Anytime I need new ideas for my hair she always knows what’s best. Everyone there is super friendly. I love it there because it’s super easy to use google to reserve my appointment and have a great experience. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for somewhere to get the hair cut and promise you will always come back.

Never had a bad cut, or a bad hair stylist/barber/hairdresser here. Friendly and skilled. The art on the wall may not be what everyone loves, but I think it gives the brand charm. Make sure to reserve your spot online to minimize waiting time, although if you go during lows you'll more than likely get a walk in appointment.

I love this Judes! I see Amanda every single time and I’m never disappointed. I’m fairly picky with my haircut, and it seems like every time I walk out of there, I find myself thinking “this is the best one yet”. If you haven’t been here yet, I highly recommend giving it a try.

I started going to Jude’s when they were in Gas Light Village and stilling serving PBR. I had my hair cut at the Gas Light location by many people, but finally settled in with Ben. The Gas Light location closed and reopened where it is now on Wealthy Street in Eastown. I had my hair cut by Ben for many years up until he left in late 2017. I was panicking as I had gone to him for so long and I didn’t want to leave and find a new place. Ben suggested for me to try out Huong as she had been at Jude’s for awhile. I’ve been very happy going to Huong for the past year. I told her how I liked my hair cut the first meeting, and she hasn’t missed a beat. I don’t have to say anything and she just goes at it. She’s very kind, friendly and personable and I really enjoy getting my hair cut by her. Glad Ben suggested her to me!

This place is legit! Ask for Amanda N. It is the best Jude’s location in GR. Is the wait too long? You poor soul (call ahead next time!!!): go grab a drink across the street at Harmony, grab a slice of pizza at Papa John’s, get some froyo next door, you get the jist. Top notch location. I took a chance of this Jude's location almost a year ago and the dividends have paid off! I happened to sit in Huong's chair and she has impressed me from the start. She was a sigh of relief :) I'm 38 years old, very picky on who cuts my hair, and have been disappointed with many salons in Grand Rapids. I got so lucky when Huong started cutting my hair. Not only is she a master of her craft but she has the personality to boot. She impresses me every time and she always has a smile on her face. Thank you Eastown Jude's!

Jude's East town is a great place to relax, Sandy is very meticulous and carrying she give the perfect cut every time. All the other staff members are always very polite. From children to adults we are all treated kindly and with a smile.

Great place for a haircut. Reasonable cost, and the staff at this location are always friendly. If only they still served beer here... If you're coming in make sure to call ahead, because sometimes other people do and you can end up waiting a bit. Over all great place.

I can't say enough good things about Amanda.. from the moment I walk in the door and am greeted by my first name all the way to walking out the door with confidence I look my best... I get a great haircut every time and lots of laughs during the process.. it's rare to be able to tell your stylist to just do your thing and make it look good and have COMPLETE confidence she'll do just that.. Jude's is very reasonably priced compared to hoity toity salons and delivers a higher quality look than a basic barber shop. The decor is old school man cave, but that's okay. It's the clip that counts. The "call ahead to wait in line" system takes a little getting used to, but it's not much different than having a firm appointment time then waiting because the stylist is running behind. Bottom line is I (and my wife) really like how I look when Kim does my hair. Kim is courteous, friendly and skilled. I especially appreciated how she fixed a bad do I got while in Florida.

I have been scheduling Huong for well over a year now. I traveled to several Jude's throughout the Greater Grand Rapids area until I found the most awesome barber with Huong. The location is also very convenient and always clean. If I need an in-between neck shave, they are happy to get me in without hardly any wait. I love the ease of scheduling/check in. Jude's does it right!
