Got the full judes package. Had a great time, hair cut was great. their unique hand massage device thing is lacking though, not the fault of anybody, the device just seems to vibrate the holder more then the one its used on by its design and i would rather opt for a traditional massage or use a different massage device. Will likely skip the massage there next time i go but def will return. much cheeper then a spa but feels like your at one

I have been going to Jude’s for as long as I can remember. I tried a few different stylists out, and had good experiences with all of them, but my favorite experiences have been with Ryon. I’m wheelchair-bound and she has been very accommodating to me from the start. She always asks if I need help transferring to the barber chairs, or if I would prefer to stay in my wheelchair. She’s boosted my confidence on several occasions with her kind words and amazing work on my haircuts. She takes suggestions very well and when she asks how I would like my hair and beard cut, she always hits the mark. I have never once had a single bad experience with her since I started seeing her!

I've been coming to this location for the last couple years and would certainly recommend it. While I'm sure all the barbers would do a great job, I always make a point to schedule with Emily. She does a SUPERB job, is very friendly and easy to talk to, and is reliably there on a regular basis. Every haircut I've gotten is consistently of the best I've ever had. If you're a new customer I'd highly recommend her, but like I said I'm sure you'll have a great experience with anyone here. Just be sure to check in online in advance. Their site is a little different now, but still easy enough to use, just make sure you go to the website for this location. The shop is much like every Jude's I've been to over the years: clean, well decorated, always has parking available, friendly staff, dependable online check-in, and a variety of hair care products available. It's proximity to the 131 exit makes it very easy to get to. While you can certainly find cheaper haircuts around town, you will NOT find a better haircut for less. They're also open later than most barbershops making it easier to get in on a busy schedule. Scheduling online becomes second nature and that way you're never waiting very long like you can be as a walk in other places. If you've never done the Jude's Haircut (haircut, straight razor clean-up, hair wash, and shoulder massage), you should give it a try. The hair wash is always refreshing and helps stop all the little hair trimmings that would otherwise fall off your head later and end up on your shirt afterwards.

After bouncing around from hair stylist to hair stylist here in GR I walked into Jude's on West River almost 5 years ago not knowing any of the stylist. Emily had an opening and gave me an amazing haircut. I have been going to her ever since! Not only does she give an amazing cut, but is extremely personable and even remembers my kids names and ages. Before coming to Jude's I was lucky if a stylist remembered my name. Emily has since been promoted to store manager and runs an excellent location. I have had my hair cut by multiple stylist at West River over the years and never had a bad experience. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a great cut and an even better experience.

The individuals that work at Jude’s West River are an incredible and delightful group people! I love coming here for beard trims, and they all do a wonderful job. Emily Darlene is a sweetheart that does her absolute best to take care of her customers and staff. Emily takes care of my beard and I always walk out feeling so much more confident about myself, I always feel included and never judged for being different. I booked with Emily not knowing any of the stylist at this location. Well I highly recommend her for anyone who needs as much a trim to a complete hair makeover. She was personable and friendly. She takes suggestions and makes sure you are always happy with the cut before you get out of her chair. West River Jude’s is the best!

Jude's barbershop is usually amazing they had some new stylists in there the old style has had to help the new one could have been a hot mess but they saved the haircuts thank you guys for all that you do people make mistakes things happen just keep pushing forward and do your dreams thank you so much for the cuts for my family

First time I came to St Judes Barbershop I was greeted by one of the employees who asked if i made a appointment. One thing I thought was super easy was the online scheduling with the barber of your choice. I made my appointment with Ryon. She was very nice and welcoming as it was my first time. She was very understanding when it came to my haircut. I am a type of person to be picky at times and when it comes to cutting my hair it can be a challenge. Ryon made it simple and easy to get the right cut I wanted. I also noticed other customers coming in for their appointment as well and noticed the great job Ryon was doing as well. Made me feel very comfortable and welcomed to always come back. I would recommend anyone to come make appointment with her anytime because I can tell she loves what she does. I just would like to say thank you Ryon for making it a great experience, and as well as all the compliments I receive from my friends and family. I definitely will be coming back.

Haircut was fine. But expect a 'cone of silence' while in the chair. Me and another fella were getting haircuts at the same time and neither of our Stylists spoke to us. We both got the silent treatment. I like a Stylist who talks, makes me feel welcome, at ease. After she asked how I want my cut, didn't mutter another word to me until she asked, "How's that? want more off the top?" Place was clean. $17 for a cut, no wash.

Totally worth spending a little more money than at great clips. The staff can deliver consistent quality cuts. I say it’s the basic principle of getting what you pay for. I get the shampoo and straight razor whenever I have the time to spare. Worth it every time.

Judes Barbershop is a one of a kind Michigan Barbershop. The walls are covered in pictures and posters of very nice modern things like music. The prices are very much worth the haircuts you will get at this location as well. And all of the barbers are soo sweet, kind and beautiful.
