Why haven’t I found this place sooner? The owner and the staff are really friendly. It has the old school barber shop vibes and a really positive atmosphere. It’s been hard to find someone that can cut my hair exactly the way I want it. I’ve been looking for over three years and this is the only spot that got my hair just right. Go, chill, vibe and leave a fresh looking beast.

I go there every 2 weeks and I'm from Holland, and it is worth the drive you can't beat the price and Skip is a great barber and a really nice down to earth guy.

Open early, cheap, and quick....and to add the cherry on top QUALITY work!!!!! I found my new barber and didn't know it yet. Skip did amazing work, very friendly.. it was my first time in and he made me feel more than welcome..in and out in no time. I work 3rd shift so it's perfect..like I said I found not only my new barber but I'll be taking my kids too..

First experience here today and it was great! Never tried the hairstyle I wanted before short on the sides long on the top guy did an fantastic job and was very quick. I do believe this is my new spot only complaints I could have is missed a lil tiny spot of my neck beard was longer than the rest and lil spot just above my lip I finished off and there was a little much on one side but was very nice otherwise. When I got handed the bill I was also surprised how cheap it was better deal than even places like great clips but with the professionalism of a big barber shop.

Skip is the owner of the shop, and he is very courteous and fair with prices. He knows how to cut African-American hair, which is very hard to find on the west side of Michigan...... and he does a fantastic job, always a clean cut and sharp lining. I have been going to this barbershop for two years!

I've been cutting my own hair for several years and decided to get a professional cut. Living in Wyoming, there was several barbershops I did research on and I'm glad I came across this gem! The owners are great, very nice and very helpful and made me feel comfortable during my entire experience. Best part is, I was in and out in 10 minutes and very happy with my cut! I am from Grandville area and I was looking for a good barbershop for a while now. I finally went and got my hair cut at Faded few weeks ago by Skip and I couldn't be happier. I just asked him to make my hair short and he did such a good job that I was speechless. I've been going to Great clips and Sports clip for years but nothing compares to Faded. I will definitely go back to faded and I would highly recommend this place.

My son is sensory autistic and when I say for the 1st time in years no tears no fights nothing I was so happy our 1st non stressful hair cut as I was paying the man was like next time we can try different things to keep hair off of his neck ect on top of that the man cutting my sons hair let him play with a toy to try and help I also had my other 2 kids with me and they had a toy my 1 year old loved it I will definitely be back I was so impressed and so happy

Awesome Barbershop. Regardless of what look, design or cut you're going for Skip is the man for the job. He does an excellent job of truly listening to what you want and is very intentional in ensuring you get it. The barbers here are all very friendly and welcoming. I've been to barbers that charge $40+ for a haircut and beard trim but couldn't compare in skill or passion to what I've received here. The bottom line is it's quick, affordable, and much better than any other barber I've been to in Grand Rapids. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere- this is the place to go.

One of the best customer service experiences I have had in a barber shop. Had my hair messed up by great clips came here for a nice fade instead, and got results. Skip is amazing with the clippers. This is where you want to go if you want a great cut.

Barber was nice and the price wasn't bad. I was in search of a new place closer to work/home. Gave this place a try a week before i had wedding. Unfortunately my bangs were slanted and i didn't notice til i got home. It's not a huge deal with the way i style my hair but if i didn't style it and left it as is you could really tell.

I was In town for a family funeral and I needed a place that was open early. The guy who did my cut was really nice and cleaned me up well for what I was in town for. I paid $20.00 for everything that’s including a tip. The haircuts are $14.00. He also cleaned up my beard and eyebrows for me.

Took my 19 month old son to get his fro shaped up. First time in a barbershop. Barber was very polite, good with my son who was a little nervous. Got the cut and line up done with zero tears and even a smile. Shop is very clean, and price was good. Whole process took maybe 15 minutes. Definitely would go back and recommend to others.

I have had my hair cut here for the past 4 years. Had Open Heart Surgery in 2014 and the owner even came to the hospital to cut my hair before my surgery. Very friendly environment and would strongly recommend. Note: Not the Heart Surgery but the Barbershop

No I meant I have a fade all time . A true fade that my barber was quick but he make sure that everything is all line up . An have 2 diff clippers size sorry I just thought you should seen in pic.. but just seem like you just give me a buzz cut .. I'm just used to having everything LINE up an a real fade.
