I've been getting my hair cut here for the last 5 months and it is fantastic! Truc is excellent in her work and attention to detail, the shop is nice and clean, the flexibility with changing or switching appointments is super easy, the conversation is always good, and my hair has never looked better.

I was able to get an appointment the day I had hopes of a haircut. I'd never been to West Des Moines Barbershop before. The shop was simple and clean, Brittany was very sociable and I enjoyed talking with her while she cut my hair. She was able to do just what I wanted with my hair. I was in and out in maybe twenty minutes. I will be back!

I’m very particular about my hair, have been to several places in the DSM area/my hometown. I randomly came across this place when looking for a new barbershop & after getting my hair cut by Truc, I will not be searching any longer. I personally get the skin fade & I don’t know anyone else that does it better/more consistent. Check them out!

I took my 3yr old son in yesterday for his first big boy hair cut! He’s usually fussy and difficult when cutting his hair but this was the complete opposite yesterday! Truck was great with him,talked to him and had him calm and happy! She did a great job!!!

I live close to the West Des Moines Barber Shop so I thought I would try it out. I came in on a Saturday morning around 10am and was greeted promptly by the stylist. I had to wait about an hour to get trimmed(my fault for choosing a busy time). It's a small barber shop so the place can fill up quickly. The stylist was friendly and listened to what I was asking for. Within 20 minutes I had a great looking haircut! The cost was $17 (not including a tip), this is a fair price. I look forward to going back for a second cut and I hope to become a regular at this local barber shop.

Excellent cuts every time, I have asked for some pretty specific or different cuts and she translates whatever word vomit I have about my hair into a great cut everytime. She always takes her time to do it right even if one or two people are waiting and is still very fast. Highly recommended!

I got tired of great clips butchering my hair and a friend suggested this place and I have been going ever since. My hair is pretty crazy and unmanageable so its hard to find someone who can handle it and i always leave feeling like i look great. I do not trust anyone else with my hair and i recommend this place to anyone who wants a good quality hair cut at a reasonable price.

I'm so happy Truc finally has her own shop! It's closer to our house and easily accessible! She always takes the time to cut my sons hair the way they like and make sure they are happy when they leave. She is never rushed and uses much professionalism. She also keeps up with the latest trends and techniques! As a mom she does great with children as well, I have sent several friends with boys as young as 2. Thanks for being awesome Truc!
