Cristal (the pregnant lady) that somebody has made extremely false allegations about is amazing. I don’t go anywhere else or especially let anyone get near my beard with clippers. She’s always been very pleasant and provides exceptionally professional cuts. Highly Recommend everyone at Eastside.

Idk what that guys problem is, but the pregnant lady smells pleasant every time I go in. Maybe Chanel #5? Very classy either way. Does a great fade! If you don’t like the big city life, maybe just stick to whatever township you come from! Come here once a week! Never an issue. Highly recommend!

Love this shop. I usually get cut by Tru but I see the work every one else is doing too and they all are amazing professionals. Been to a lot of barbers in des Moines and these guys are the best.

Haircuts are great. The lady barber seemed to have an attitude. My son said he felt she was pushing to hard with the clippers. I thought she came off as rude but kept my composer. But she did charge me the adult price for my 12 year old when it says online 12&under are kids priced! I'll be going back but requesting I don't get her again.

Took my kid to get a haircut there recently; and the haircut was great, very talented people. However, I do not appreciate the barber (idk their name) giving my kid incorrect cash change, keeping extra money for themselves. I always tip really good at places where I receive good service. I actually noticed it when I asked my kid to give me back the change so I could give the barber a tip. It's not okay under any circumstance to take money from a customer without their consent, let alone from a kid. It can be the best barbershop and the best hair professionals, but morals are important as well.

We scheduled with this shop super last minute and They were so kind and helpful. The barber gave my son a badass Mohawk and even taught me some cool ways to work with his cow licks lol if we come back to Des Moines in the future, we will for sure stop back in!

My boys and I are VERY tough to please when it comes getting our hair cut. Either the skill level of the barber is not so good or the customer service is lacking or the consistency is off. Nowadays you're lucky to get a barber that has one of those qualities! BUT I'm so glad I found Cristal! Cristal's skill level is top of the class!! Her customer service is phenomenal and her consistency is FLAWLESS! I love the fact that she has early morning hours so I can get in and be able to enjoy the rest of my day with a fresh cut. If you're in the market for a new barber or just need a fresh start come and check our Cristal I promise you'll be beyond satisfied!

The barbers in the shop are amazing ,great and fun to be around . Great atmosphere . Cons about this place is every time I go in there I never see the owner around seems like he’s never there . No wifi and no tv so it’s sometimes quiet in there which makes things awkward. Would be nice if the owner would be there so I can let him know that his barbers are amazing workers .

Closest barber shop, so I come here have had some negative experiences and some good ones, but with only one of the barbers, she might have been having a bad day, but she told me how bad my last barber did cutting my hair...Well, she was the one who cut my hair last, her excuse was "she was probably hungover". Karl did a great job, was quick, and made good conversation. Will be going to him for sure.

All the barbers here seem like they are good at cutting hair. I always see different types of people in here to so anyone would feel comfortable. Charlie always cuts my hair and ive always gotten great service and a great haircut. Im mixed with curly hair just as a reference for anyone but like i said different people are always there getting there haircut race, age, and gender.
