Chopz is amazing! I struggled to find a good shop for a haircut after moving to Denver until I found Chopz. I have been coming here for over a year now and am never disappointed. The staff are awesome, the shop is well maintained, and you can feel confident you will be getting a great haircut every time. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get a great cut in Denver!

When I moved to Denver years ago, I was very stressed about finding a place to get my haircut. From the moment I walked into Chopz, I knew I had found the right place. I was assigned to Leandra when I initially went over 4 years ago and have been seeing her for haircuts ever since. Leandra is not only an extraordinary stylist, but an extraordinary person as well. She is so kind and makes you feel right at home at Chopz. No matter what I want done to my hair, she gets it done. I cannot say enough about her and the rest of the Chopz team. I recommend anyone in need of a haircut go into to see her! :)

Very friendly staff. Relaxed environment. Fair prices. And just a great haircut! Context: I care about my hair I’d say slightly more than the average man and I like to experiment with different looks. Each time I’ve come here I’ve had a different woman help me and they always get me a good look no matter how different or open ended of instructions I give them. AND they’re super easy to schedule on the phone. One time they only had a small opening within the next couple of minutes and they let me run down and get a cut. Prices have gone up slightly in the past year or so but still comparable to other good barbers in the city.

I first came here after a traumatic botched haircut from Alfanis Barber Shop (which was actually charging more for a haircut than Chopz). Norine took time to listen to me and salvaged the botched haircut! When I moved out of Cap Hill, I started going to another hairstylist closer to my new home. I have live around the Denver area since 2013 and I will tell you that Chopz Men's Salon is by far the best I have found. From the first time I discovered this salon, I have never been disappointed. Norene is my stylist and she is always friendly when I come in. Her cutting skills are second to none. Even though it is out of my way to the salon, I still prefer to give this place my business. If you are looking for a chill atmosphere and above all a really great haircut, this is your place! My advice is to call ahead and schedule an appointment as they book up rather quickly.

This salon has a really good feel to it. Everyone is very friendly and the haircuts are the best I've ever had. I usually have Haley cut my hair and she does a great job. So we went because my partner needed a haircut, and I didn't have an appointment (but definitely needed a haircut). The space is vibrant and colorful, the music want my taste but it was appropriate and fun. I saw that one of the stylists was finished with her client and asked if she would cut my hair, and her name was Noreen. She accepted and she was a wonderful person to be with and I would recommend her.

For the past 4 years, once a month, I have been having my haircut done by the hair stylists/barber's at Chopz. Not once have I ever had anything less than a perfect haircut. Even on the day of my wedding they opened the salon on a Sunday just to accommodate me (I wouldn't have trusted anyone else to cut my hair on that day anyways). I had been searching for a true barbershop in Denver and I definitely have found it here with Chopz. I get a razor fade and so far Leandra at Chopz has been the only one to do it proper and it looks and feels 100% better than other places. Hair salons should be judged by two things: how good their customers look and how happy those customers look. On my last visit there was a guy in his fifties getting the gray dyed out of his temples, a guy in his twenties getting a pretty fashion-forward fade, and me. I decided to change my hairstyle for the first time in five years and decided to go pretty bold (for me, middle of the road for some). All three of us came out looking fantastic. The older guy had a nice natural color with a sensible but confident haircut. The younger guy looked positively fierce. I was so happy I cannot wait to have my hair cut again. I had a rush appointment on the same day with no heads up. I called 20 minutes before I needed my hair cut last minute. This was around lunch time at that, I was greeted very politely and asked what they could do for me. They told me to come on down, and they would take care of me. When I waited for maybe 5 minutes, my barber sat me. His name was andre, ( if I spelled it right ). That man was a very very good man. He was nice, did not make it uncomfortable, and we talked about alot. We even talked about segragation in my home town, mind you I'm a white Male and he is a black Male. Even with all of that we talked liked we were good friends. Treated me with kindness and respect, and most of all he got some skills. I havent had a good hair cut like this in a long time.
