I love this place! Brittany is the master at perfecting my color. And my hair cut is always fire. All I have to do is sit and entrust that I will come out cute! I’ve been to each lady in the shop and have never been disappointed! The prices are fair and the service is amazing. I’m in and out in a responsible time. Setting appointments on line is easy. The atmosphere is professional and inviting. I highly recommend!

These beautiful black Queens definitely needs to be put on notice. My first time letting a woman cut my hair and they outdid most of my male barbers. Very organized and well run barber shop. I’ve gotten my hair cut here a few times prior to bringing my son in for a cut and he was serviced with just as much, if not more hospitality than me. Brittany is who cuts my hair but everyone I’ve come into to contact with here is very hospitable and friendly. I’ve worked in customer service for 10+ years so it’s a big deal to me so I appreciate the staff here tremendously for making sure they lead with that. I already feel at home with them. My son is 7 years old and has autism and Brittany really took her time with him and told us upon leaving that she knows how important routine is for him, and for me to bring him back so that we make sure he gets used to her. So heartfelt and genuine of her to say that. This is truly a well run facility and I’m glad to say it’s my barbershop. Great ppl, great energy, great hospitality! Highly recommend.

We have several barbers nearby, but I drive 20 min to bring my teen boys to The Lab because they won't go anywhere else. Brittany and Aisha are AWESOME. They listen to what my boys ask for (and teens are super picky), but the best part is the environment.... relaxed and real. We never feel like customers. They treat my boys like their fave nephews. We moved here to SC about a year ago and tried several barbers- and was not pleased! We found The Laboratory and have been loyal customers since!!! My barber of over 14yrs retired and I had to find me a new barber. Do you know how hard that can be?? Well, Britt was referred to me from my friend in Charleston SC. Britt is the Business!!! She kindly took me in and we instantly clicked. She took the time to examine my hair, talk me through her professional opinion and then proceeded to service my hair. It was an amazing experience and such a great relief! To find someone so easily after 14yrs of having the same barber. I told her as soon as she finished my hair, oh yes mam I will definitely be back! The barbershop is so clean and the two ladies who's shop it is are so friendly. My son is on the autism spectrum and it has been very hard finding a place where he is calm, comfortable, and not anxious or frustrated about getting his haircut. I could never find a person who was calm, patient and understanding to his needs or a suitable environment for him. Brittany was wonderful with him. Not one time did I have to intervene with him getting his haircut. He even said he wanted to come back, which was a first. Not only is Brittany talented in what she does, she is very professional. I'm glad to say she has found herself another regular customer. Most definitely highly recommended!

After searching days for a Barber who would cut my daughter’s hair into a Mohawk, I found The.Laboratory. I requested an appointment online for the very next day with Brittany Pearson. We arrive a little before our appointment and there was really no wait time. I provided Brittany a picture of what my little girl wanted and she gave us exactly what we requested! The haircut was flawless and she was very attentive to my daughter. At one point my daughter couldn’t stop smiling and I actually started crying cause we finally found a Barber who’ll cut her hair the way she likes it. Thank you Brittany so much. My experience at The Laboratory was nothing less than amazing! I was told about this location through a friend of mine and when I say, I’m grateful, I AM GRATEFUL. I’ve always had a short hair cut but I recently cut my relaxer off and was rocking a very short fade. The barber who initially cut it down wasn’t understanding my vision but Aisha did from the beginning. She lowered me all the way down (like I requested) and dyed my hair! Saying I love my hair is an understatement. Pleases visit this wonderful location with these two women!
