Very very cool barber shop. Got there without an appointment and waited for only 15 minutes. Stylists are big professionals, even to see them work is satisfying and exiting. However person who worked with me used a bit too sharp razor, so after for some time after I got the job done I feel how much my back of the head is burning. I'm not gonna lower my ranking because we all make mistakes. Shop itself is a bit pricey. Only for a haircut you got to pay 50$ + tips. But if you want to get a very neat haircut, I'd definitely would recommend this place

Great atmosphere, great owner and the place to be for a haircut. Andy is my barber and he is the MAN. I’ve had a barber for 20 years and he’s the only person I trust outside of my barber. It’s hard to find someone who loves his craft and makes you look damn good. Make an appointment with Andy and I promise you won’t regret it.

Every barber in this establishment is amazing. Alex the owner very personable and takes what he does very serious. He listens to what the client wants while implementing his expertise to get the best possible outcome. The decor is like a 5 star hotel. The only con I would say is parking. Its in the heart of Boston with on street parking that is hard to find and meter maids are waiting to give tickets. The other con is Boston traffic. Even with that said marvelous barber lounge is a place to go for your haircut and a great experience

Shenouda Master Barber is best in the business. I’ve been getting haircuts from him for over a year now when he was at a different barbershop and when he started working at Marvelous, I just followed him here. He knows my hairstyle well and don’t have to explain it every time. He is skilled, professional, and always have a smile on his face. The barber lounge is also nice, looks exactly like it is in the photos. If you’re looking for a new barber or visiting Boston and need a quick haircut, just go here and ask for Shenouda Master Barber and you won’t be disappointed!

I've lived in Boston for a while now and had a hard time finding a barber that took as much pride in their work as Lex did when I visited Marvelous for the first time. I'm always bothered when I ask for a skin fade and the barber skips using a trimmer, let alone a shaver, and leaves it at a zero guard on the clippers. This wasn't nearly the case with Lex and he spent more time on the fade than the last two barbers I used combined fading it from shaved clean, to the trimmers, and then to a zero on the clippers. Not to mention how beautiful the shop is! Can't recommend this place enough.

I was visiting and figured I’d try this place out. I booked with one of the master barbers, Shenouda. He hooked it up with a cut and beard trim. Usually I like my hair longer but I let him do his thing. He faded the sides and left the top long. Definitely a great cut and the wife was impressed when I got home. I’ll be back.

I have been having my hair cut here for serval months now, from the first time I walked in until my most recent cut, I have never been disappointed. Hygiene and cleanliness are absolutely key to me when getting any service and especially when I get my hair cut. This is a beautiful establishment, clean and very professional, but they still maintain the neighborhood barbershop feel. In Boston it's tough to find a bespoke barbershop that caters to all types of hair and hairstyles.....this is it. Whatever you are looking for, they have someone who can take care of you. The crew here are dedicated to live up to their namesake. Marvelous is a beautiful space even as you walk up to the place and look through its windows. The attention to detail just for the aesthetics of the shop is enough to tell you what kind of quality you're getting on for your cut. I found this shop having come across Lex's IG as I was tired of being disappointed by barbers and was looking for QUALITY services, and boy oh boy, Lex doesn't disappoint. I have long curly hair, and an undercut I never intended to have, but barbers over the years kept cutting into my hair line raising it little by little. I came to Lex to hopefully find a barber who would take real care not to do that anymore. Lex heard me out, and since handles my cut patiently, carefully, and attentively. From the easy booking system, to the reception, to the finishing touches on your cut, Lex and team puts the effort in making our experience as luxurious as we all deserve and I can't recommend them enough.

My barber recently retired and I found Marvelous Barber Shop online. It’s tough to find a barber that can do everything well and Lex is that guy. My beard gets compliments from strangers all the time. I started booking with Lex and haven’t looked back. Usually Instagram isn’t reality but in this case it is. Lex is the owner and an excellent barber. He’s always professional and meticulous at what he does. From the moment you walk in you feel welcome and the barbershop was designed with the customer in mind. Easy to book online and all the prices are available for you to choose from. Can't beat the atmosphere. You can find a place to cut your hair for less but you are paying a little more of a premium for the craft and skill. My wife loved the haircut and the way Alex did my fade as compared to others who have cut my hair. Booking an appointment on the app was easy. However, I was not sure what haircut I was going to get so I just picked something. I will return again for a haircut and to try some of the other services offered.

For a while I was looking for a good Barbershop for my son and I and I came across a post from Marvelous Lounge on Instagram, I decided to try it because all the other Barbershops I’ve been to have been messing up my beard and my hairline and also my son’s hairline so I figured why not. It was definitely a good decision, top notch service from beginning to end. I was able to book my appointment online, was able to find somewhere to park with a breeze and when I arrived with my son we were greeted like we’ve been going there for a long time (we’ve been going to for a little over 3 months now). He is a punctual and super respectful owner who also gives the best quality haircuts/styles! You let him know what you are looking to do, and he makes it happen. He let me talk through all my questions and examined my curl pattern and we established a plan. First cut I was hooked and now I’m back every two weeks! The shop is GORGEOUS - fancy chairs, stellar design. Feels like a spa with the friendly chatter and home-like feeling of an old barber shop. And the building has parking so for a few extra bucks I’ll skip the downtown street parking hustle. I look forward to checking him out in Brockton too!

Completely different experience from any barbershop I've ever walked into. The first thing that caught my attention from when I opened the door was the esthetics. The details in the design across the shop is remarkable. From the classical design of the chairs to the shiny marble floor and art on the walls, I felt like I walked into an upper class lounge. Luckily for me, Covid made sure I didn't have to sit and wait. But even without Covid, I don't think it would have been a long wait as there were plenty of stations. I got my beard taken care of by the owner himself, Lex Andre. Now I'll have to admit that I do have thee best beard in the state of Massachusetts. It's been proven so by my ego and countless homeless people. I don't let anyone else touch this beard besides the occasional random women on the street that are fascinated by something long and black. Where was I? Oh yes, I take care of my own godly beard. So to go to someone else was a big deal for me. Stepped out of my comfort zone, jumped out of the plane per say. Andre took his time with the beard. The same amount of thought and care that went into designing that luxurious shop was the same that he put into my chin forest. He had this machine that was blowing a gentle warm mist next to my face the whole time, apparently its suppose to make my brown skin glow. Then came the warm damp towel that he laid over my face. It was at that moment that I realized what I've been missing my whole life. If there was a negative point in my experience, it was that moment. Andre made me regret my decision making as a grown man. To find out that my face and beard could have been treated to such a marvelous experience prior to last week, it made me question myself as a man. Its like finding the woman of your dreams, and then realizing you could have found her earlier in life. I say all of that to say... if you do anything in life worth telling your grandkids when you get older, its to visit this James Bond type lounge, but don't try the sparkling water. Not worth it. The End.
