It’s been great to see the ways they’ve improved over the years with the revamped exterior design and now you can book appointments in advance online. This was my first time to Anthony's Barber Shop and it won't be the last. I made an appointment in advance and glad I did. They are taking walk-ins but there was a line. Fred cut my hair and did a great job. He made sure he was clear on what I wanted at the beginning and checked in throughout the cut. He was very detailed and efficient. They only take cash so come prepared.

CASH ONLY! Amazing barber shop! I do not keep my hair in a normal men's buzz cut, but Melissa was able to give me the greatest haircut of my life. She even volunteered to touch it up for free the week of my wedding! I will definitely be going here as long as I'm living in the area- the staff is friendly and the prices are very affordable.

Great experience getting haircuts from Sam and Melissa. Even faced with my 5 months of pandemic-grown hair, Sam helped me choose a style that fit me then cut it exactly as he described. Melissa did a similarly great job on my next visit 3 months later. Both were personable and provided great conversation. During COVID, prices are up a little and you have to schedule ahead, but it's still 100% the best and best value barbershop in town.

Anthony's Barber Shop is a fantastic place to get a haircut. Since I was little I have been going to this place and it has only gotten better with time. All the barbers there are fantastic and have great attention to detail and are able to attend to each customer's specific needs. Joe is a great guy and takes the time to make sure my hair is exactly what I want (and my hair is not the easiest to cut). Anthony's has been around for a long time now and hope it keeps going with its fantastic service.

I got my haircut with Melissa, and this is the first time I have ever really written a review for any place because it was one of the best cuts I've ever gotten! I am horrible at explaining what I want in a cut, but it's like she read my mind! It came out better than I could've asked for and it was fast! She always checked in with me to make sure I wanted what she was about to do and asked for my opinion or said, "I'm going to start it like this so you can see what it's like, then tell me what you think." She was very lively and attentive. She even fixed up my brows to "show off my beautiful eyes!" She's so cute! There was a bit of a wait but it was well worth it (even the temporary price increase due to covid). It was my first time here but it was evident that Melissa and everyone there were loved by all their clients who even had nicknames for them. I can see why everyone keeps coming back: there's a great sense of close-knit comradery and plenty of great hairdos.

I am so happy I stumbled on this shop about a year ago, and I will never get my hair cut anywhere else as long as I live in the area - it is more than worth the drive from Dedham for me to come here. The owners, Joe and Sam, could not be nicer or more attentive to their customers. They listen to what you want and take their time to give you the best possible cut every time. They even do beard detailing and offer hot lather shaves a couple days per week, which is hard to find. The combination of skill, fair price, and friendly attitude cannot be beat. Best barber shop in the metro area of Boston! Also, I dont have kids yet myself, but they are often taking care of kids of all ages while I'm in there and seem great for that as well. I've been to at least 15 or 20 different barbers throughout my life, and this shop has been my hands down favorite. Come here if you're looking for your new regular shop!

You will not find a better haircut or nicer barbers anywhere in Massachusetts. I have never been disappointed after leaving Anthony's. Sam, Joe, Amy, and Janelle are true professionals. I have Sam or Joe cut my hair every 2 weeks. There is nothing like a fresh cut and a nice shave on my neck after each haircut. Once or twice a year, splurge for the traditional barber's shave on Wednesdays or Thursdays - its a real treat. Plus, the new wifi in the waiting room is lightning fast and always keeps my kids busy when either I or my son are getting our haircuts. Anthony's is the best place in Needham and beyond for your haircut, hands down!

Where to start... Joe is the absolute man. The guy can make conversation with anyone, from children to the elderly. He's very friendly guy, but this isn't a customer service first job, this a skilled job. Joe is THE most skilled barber, specifically with incredible 'fade' skills. He can do ANY men's haircut, and to the highest of salon qualities. As far far as the pricing, I've read some of the other reviews saying the pricing is "fair." Thats disrespectful to the quality of Joe's work. The other barber's quality of work are also worth way more than the $17 they charge for a haircut. The quality that Joe brings could easily warrant high end salon pricing, but that's WHAT GENEROUS TIPS ARE FOR.
