Good afternoon! I went to Craftsman Unlimited on 3 June 2022 with my Son Joseph to get us prepped for his wedding. When we arrived, I could tell this was not your usual barbershop- the atmosphere was very welcoming, and the place was VERY squared away. Ariel worked on both of us- Joseph did not take long, as he needed just a bit of trimming on his hair and beard. As I watched Ariel work on my Son, I was thinking to myself "man, she's real good at this- I'm going to leave here looking way better than I do now." I was correct in my assessment- she did an EXCELLENT job! I grew a beard starting in early January this year (the second time ever, and this was by far the longest of the two), that badly needed trimming and shaping, and Ariel did a fine job with that in addition to the superb haircut she delivered. I will definitely visit again when I am in town visiting my Son. Anybody can cut hair, but to do it with skill takes somebody like Ariel, who is all-in on delivering quality work. Thank you Ma'am for an absolutely epic barbering job- and I have the wedding pictures to prove it! This is the best deal on a haircut available. Pay a yearly fee and get a haircut whenever you want? Incredible value. My hair has never looked better. I get a haircut every two weeks now - whereas previously I’d wait a month or more. Toss in a free beverage, pool table, and a great rock ‘n roll environment and this is one deal you don’t want to miss. Thanks go out to Kati for nailing a perfect haircut for the past several months. Her fades are perfect. She’s so meticulous when doing my hard part. She always clarifies to make sure I get EXACTLY what I want. He shampoo and scalp massages will make you feel like you’re at a spa. Greatest place I've gone to get my haircut. They don't have to rush themselves to get hair done like some places force their employees to do. I don’t really like to style my hair or do to much to it really and I don’t know how to word what I want done to my hair in barber terms. My barber, Faith, made sure that she translated my simple expectations correctly and did an awesome and efficient job. I have a cow lick that sometimes doesn’t get cut very well and my hair will stand up all the time but she did an amazing job and I would definitely recommend her and Craftsman to anyone and everyone I know. I have been meaning to post this for a minute, but wanted to share my experience from a couple weeks ago. I went in to get my haircut and shave on a Friday night and was pretty happy with everything. When I got home I was wanting to use my clippers to make the hard part line in my hair more prominent. Needless to say I should've never touched it and screwed up the job that was done. I called the next morning and talked to Katie who runs the shop there in Meridian and they had no barbers available that day. She continued to look for a time and said Rachelle could get me in for like a 15 min window before her next appointment . I was able to get in and Rachelle was able to fix my mistake and make the cut look good again. The staff is awesome there and really professional and quick . A big thank you shout out to Rachelle , Katie, Kaden and the rest of the team there for helping me out. I have retired my clippers l😎👍

Love the membership concept of this and the app to schedule. My husband and young son have memberships which is great because my husband likes weekly haircuts and my son goes about 2-3 weeks. The stylists are all friendly and busy! I would give 5 stars but at times the wait even with an appointment seems excessive. I do think they would benefit from a dedicated counter person. As appointments wrap up it seems to take far too much time to check them out, schedule appointments or start memberships. Shar helped us today and was great. Faith does my husbands hair and when I bring my son in without him she knows my name based on conversations she has with my husband at his appointments. Pretty cool.

I’ve been going to Craftsman for over a year now. My go to Barber is none other than KATI SHAFFER herself!!!! I get my haircut every week with a few exceptions but that means Kati has cut my hair atleast 40 times within a year, give or take. Of those 40 times I’ve been impressed every time. I always feel so welcome and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. Thank You Kati and to Craftsman. Do yourself a favor and sign up for a membership it’s losing money if you don’t

Had my first cut there with Benny Hone yesterday afternoon, at the Meridian location. Set up my appointment just a couple hours in advance and they were ready for me just a couple of minutes after I showed up! Everybody there was super friendly and made nice conversation, and the haircut was great! While getting my hair cut, another customer who came in for a walk-in got angry for what I am assuming was the wait (even though he did not make an appointment and all of the employees were doing their best to fit in, even Benny Hone was going to stay late after his shift to help), and he got up and yelled at the gentleman cutting my hair. He said some extremely harsh things and the staff definitely handled it well, and kept the situation from escalating. I have to say my overall experience was great and I will put my membership to good use!

After getting out of the Marine Corps it was hard for me to find a place that could do the same military style low fade I like. Found Craftsman Unlimited and Kristina, and I will never go anywhere else ever again as long as this place is around. Kristina is awesome, does a great job, and like all the other staff, she is extremely friendly. Also the fact that it’s military owned makes this place even better. The search for a good barbershop in the Boise area is over boys, hit em up!

Been going to craftsmen for about a year now and i love it! Monthly subscription and you get unlimited cuts! The app is very easy to use and you can schedule in advance the exact time to come in and get in and out. They even give you a drink while you get your haircut. Richelle has done my hair numerous times and has been great.

On top of that I get to drink a beer when there...If that wasn't enough Tanner at the Boise location is phenominal. My normal guy left and she stepped in and I have to say that she seemed to understand my hair and cut it in a way that I can honestly say was my favorite cut so far. I have had three haircuts from three different barbers, all at the Meridian location, most recently from Richelle. Each has been excellent, which is why I came back. My first two cuts were as a walk-in. I waited about half hour for my first cut, and close to an hour for my second! They assured me that was unusual, but also reminded me that wait could be avoided by becoming a member and making an appointment. I didn't like the wait, but appreciate that they didn't rush me through either. Each barber spent what seemed close to an hour for my "Journeyman" treatment (cut + wash). For my third cut, I decided to become "a member," which apparently affords me unlimited haircuts. I logged in on a Monday morning to schedule for the week, and there were literally only two slots available. I booked one of the two, and like I said, the cut and treatment was excellent. I scheduled my fourth cut recently, and once again the options were limited one week or less out. I even called to make sure the website was accurate and up-to-date. They told me it is, and it's typical to be booked up a week or two in advance. I ended up booking at the Boise location instead of Meridian, which isn't that big a deal because both are on my way home from work, although I will have to cut out of work early to make it happen. I suppose if you cut your hair more than once a month and/or like to book your haircut at least a week ahead, then the membership deal is probably valuable. I may drop mine in favor of walking-in at my convenience, understanding I'll probably have to wait. The service, atmosphere, products, and people are all great. I am not in the military, but appreciate that they offer discounts and special treatment for those who are. I understand the founders are are also veterans. I've always been offered a beverage, although at my last check, beer was not yet being served at the Meridian location. Most importantly, I've like all three cuts I've received! UPDATE: I had my 4th haircut with a 4th barber (this time at the Boise location). It was also well done! AND I got a beer!

I've tried Lady Jane's (WAY to expensive), Sport Clips (not bad) and several others, and the unlimited plan at Craftsman Unlimited is by far the best deal out there.
