I was apprehensive since I've had the same barber for the last 10 years. After locating this business (within walking distance of the Embassy Suites hotel) and a short wait, I was thoroughly impressed by the attention to detail and the result. After two weeks traveling across the States with my wife, my head needed to be shaved and my beard needed to be trimmed. We were in Atlanta only for a couple days, so I didn't book any appointment; I found Classic Intown Barbershop on google maps and decided to trust them. They welcomed me even without an appointment and - after a very short wait - served me. The service was fast yet complete and professional. At first the barber was discreet and respectfully silent. As soon as he realised I was a tourist, we started chatting and he gave me a lot of useful information about the city. I paid for an hair/beard cut and received almost an hour of pure relax, a complete and comprehensive to-do list for my trip, and of course a perfect head shave and beard trim. Approved! Next time in Atlanta, I will came back.

The shop itself was a great experience. I love the music they had playing in the background and they are just very welcoming. First time ever here, saw the great reviews and pictures on Google and Yelp. Booked a 12N appointment and arrived 15 mins early. I was taken in right away and enjoyed a very relaxing and "classic" barbershop experience. Straight razor shave and skin fade haircut. Place is clean, tastefully decorated and the prices were very fair. Quality was right on with the old-school techniques and just nice people. Book an appointment, you'll be happy you did.

I was traveling from out of town and I had made an appointment via the website. Upon arrival, I had learned that Classic Intown was closed and didn't open on Tuesdays. I was perplexed, as I had an appointment confirmation from Classic Intown for that time and day. The security guard told me that they weren't open on Tuesdays and I about had a panic attack, because I badly needed a beard trim/haircut. While frantically trying to find anything else that was open and available , I was told that the owner would be coming in to serve me in 10 minutes. I was blown away by how professional Randall was and how he demonstrated character that I wish everyone embodied. Not only did I get s stellar cut and trim, but the ambiance and conversation were on point. So much so, that I will be traveling the 3 plus hours every time I need a cut/trim. Thanks again Randall and Classic Intown! This is why you're the best in the business!

I've been going to Classic Intown since fall of 2018 and every single time, I have gotten an amazing haircut. Randall does an amazing job every time and I look at the quality of haircuts differently because of it. The overall aesthetic of the place is classic barbershop and it smells of good hair product. I would recommend going to their website and making an appointment so that you aren't waiting long and you get regular updates leading up to your appt. In terms of COVID-19 safety, the do check your temperature the entire place is very clean. They do require masks be kept on at all times but they also where them as well. They do a good job cutting around the mask and giving an even cut

Really great barbershop. My 16-year-old got an awesome fade (his first) and I had my best haircut ever. The owner is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and knows his stuff. We were on a two-day layover on our way back to New England otherwise would be regulars. Couldn't have had a better experience, in any way.

Came in to get a hot shave and left a very happy customer. Eric did an amazing job and his customer service was phenomenal as well. Before I started shaving my head to support a friend diagnosed with cancer, I would go to salons to have my hair done. They always push people out and never seem to care if clients are happy and relaxed. That doesn't happen here. Not only does my head look great and feel silky smooth, but I got to relax and unwind after a rough day of work. I also enjoyed the music, atmosphere, and I like that they make their own organic products. I will definitely be picking up some of those next time. Thank you Eric for taking such great care of me! Best haircut I’ve had in years! Was in Atlanta for a day, passing through on my way south for work and needed a haircut but didn’t need a salon! Found Intown on here and liked what I saw. Walked in and sat right down in the chair. Eric asked me what I wanted and gave it to me with no worries. Absolute pro! Randall does a great job every time, listens to what you want, and especially does a really good job on beards/moustaches (plus, he'll even zip in and trim the eyebrows and nose hairs 😀). My previous barber has been cutting my hair for almost 20 years so I was hoping I could find a barber that could give me the same or close enough haircut like my previous barber. I went to 3 different barbers and the haircut I got from them was terrible. Enter Ronel Xbey. Not only did he cut my hair exactly how I wanted it but he was very professional and courteous...asking me if the clippers were hurting me or if the towel was too hot for my face. I'm very particular about my hair and he made me feel comfortable at every turn. He is now my new barber and I HIGHLY recommend him!

I had a haircut twice from Intown two years ago when I was in downtown ATL for a couple of months for business. To this day, I still think about the haircut and have never met another barber with the same quality. It is a little pricey, but you get 100% your moneys worth. Highly recommend Randall.
