Who doesn’t love a barber shop that serves beer? I mean it’s the perfect match. It’s literally the one place in your busy lives that you can take a moment and breath and get a cut from people who know what F they are doing. I get my cut from Bryce, but the man is sought after because he kills it!! So I suggest making an online appointment at least 1 week out so you get a spot. Other than that go here. It took me 5 barber shops and the idea of growing my hair long until I found The local barber & Tap.

Best barbershop in town. I don't have a specific barber. I just book whomever is available due to how great the staff is. Never had a bad beard trim or haircut in the two years, bi-weekly, that I've gone there

Have been here a few times since moving to the area. I'm always happy with the haircut I walk out with! Trey and Antoine are both great! Very relaxed vibe and friendly dog.

I went to Jordon yesterday…first time…he had good reviews. A fellow Michigan person. I showed him a pic (I’m sure they love people showing them a celebrity pic and say I want to look like this!). He asked how short on the sides..4 he asked? I said maybe 3? He used a 4 (easy to cut more off) and said what do u think? - I said, I think u were right with 4! Lol. I’m 66 so I don’t have all the hair I used to, but I was very happy that he paid attention, took time and also spent time with all the hair on a 66 year old that doesn’t grow on the head! I loved that the Rankin parking garage is nearby (free the first hour). I hope to be a regular…sometimes barbers think that they can coast and not pay close attention with regulars because “they’ll” be back…I hope Jordon and his barbers don’t have that mindset! Thanks Jordon.

used to go to sport clips for my haircuts, but then they got too busy for me to pop in. went here twice and both times people have said it's the best looking haircut I've had in a long time.

Was in Asheville for Christmas vacation and needed a quick edge up & neck trim. They squeeze me in between a couple appointments as quickly as they could and did an amazing job. Wish I was a local so I could come back here every week. Thank you gentlemen

My husband got his haircut here two days before our wedding and was super pleased with this no nonsense, quality cut, all while sipping his beer. Plus I got to enjoy my delicious IPA, so win-win for everyone. We'll definitely be back.

Super glad to have rediscovered Bryce as a barber and that he is now working at this super cool place! The atmosphere was laid back and relaxed, I was asked if I wanted a beer while I waited. Good music was on the radio. There was a pupper running around and was well behaved. The only thing is, as I’m sure has to do with space and staffing, is they had Bruce cutting in a semi utility closet. GET MY MANS IN THE FRONT ROOM lol. Would definitely recommend to someone looking to grab a fade and a brew.
