I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. I searched high and low for a barber I could call my own and for a little over a year now I've been going to Ash. I couldn't be more satisfied. Ash takes the upmost pride in her craft and ensures everyone leaves looking fresh and feeling groovy. The shop is located in Downtown Asheville where the vibes are plentiful and her shop fits right in. This ain't some quick in and out lazy cut shop like most chains we won't name. Every time you go you're guaranteed to be greeted with stellar people, doing top tier work, who make you feel as if you've been friends forever. The pictures posted are just two of the several cuts I've got and they speak for themselves. I have nothing, but good things to say about Ash and the crew. I drive 45 minutes and won't go unless I'm able to tip generously. Go check them out!

She runs her business with such integrity and going to her salon is all around just a wonderful experience that puts one at ease and knowing they are going to leave happy with the haircut they’ve been given.

I went in after I'd gotten an odd haircut from another place. I was able to give Ash a few general descriptions of what I was looking for and they took that and ran with it! Ash was able to give my hair such a natural shape that I haven't really ever had! I am really happy with my haircut and my new look, thanks Ash!

Ash was outstanding. Her style and the shop embody what Asheville is all about - a hub for people to be who they are. I hadn’t had a haircut in over a year and I’m happy I trusted her with my first one since then. WOWZA - I am very picky about where I get my haircut because I have had some horrific experiences. Ash was AMAZING. Not only did I get one of the BEST hair cuts of MY LIFE, she was full of advice, built up my confidence and we had an all around fun time. For some one who usually gets their hair cut once a year out of desperation while full of anxiety... I might become one of those "every 2 weeks" people just so I can go hang out in this amazing space.

Brian gave me an excellent skin fade, but more importantly, an excellent conversation. Dropped in visiting from Raleigh, and I got to spend an hour just talking about life in the area and life in general. Recommended.
