I’ve been looking for a good place to get my sons haircut for years, and I finally found a great one! Barber and Beer is the best around. Not only did Jamie do an incredible job cutting my sons hair, but the atmosphere in the shop is unmatched. Everyone was so nice and conversational! We make a long commute to come here and it is worth every minute. Good vibes, amazing cuts, and a friendly staff!☺️🔥✂️

Chill spot I enjoyed the experience. Around $35 for a haircut and beard trim. They offer beer and water to guests and have lots of flair on the walls. They seem to be doing well For business and I was a walk in. They accepted cards or cash

Love this place Jamie the owner is a wicked cool dude. All the guys in the place are good peoples as well. Been going here since he pretty much opened this location up. I have sent a few out there as well. And definitely have much love and respect to the guys out there especially for keeping an eye out for my baby I had to bring in the guys in there got her bottle when she cried for it and even rocked her car seat. She was very happy as I was as well. Definitely recommend this barber shop and there brand Fire 🔥 of beard oil and balm locally made by Jamie as well. Definitely some of the best products I have used.

I also appreciated that at one point he asked for advise from another stylist when he was unsure about how my hair was laying relative to a photo I brought in. After visiting most of the premier barber shops in Asheville I can tell you that he cuts one of the best skin tight fades in Asheville. Gabriel hooked me up on a walk-in beard trim masterpiece! 'Lined me up' with a straight razor. Never been to these guys until today when I needed to tame my viking beard. Walked-into an old school baber shop with tons to look at, music, good conversation. Waited for 2 ahead me and got Gabriel that hooked me up with his # so I'll be a regular from now on. Moved to Asheville last summer and after a few decent experiences elsewhere, I fortunately came across this barber shop - no need to look any further - will be going to this one every time. Kirk is my barber...man is true to his craft and expert level...never have had someone so detailed with a cut. Guys are hilarious to talk to as well. Can easily tell they take pride in what they do and in their customers and community. Good dudes, good times and great cuts. Highly recommend.

Jamie is the best barber I've ever seen. He's a very humble young man and works hard to do his best with everyone. He takes his time and never rushes a cut. No matter who's waiting. He's a highly talented barber that's usually booked out weeks in advanced. He's built an amazing clientele and it keeps getting better. He's now opening a second location in his home town. This place is absolutely AMAZING!!!!! I needed a haircut for a big meeting. Unfortunately my normal barber wasn't in so I walked around downtown Asheville trying to walk-in to a barber shop and everyone looked at me like I was a idiot! Finally I just googled "walk-in barber shop" and the skies opened up and I discovered this hidden gem! Not only do they do walk-ins but they also have normal working hours! PLUS they have multiple walk-in barbers. Kirk hooked it up! Plus you get a beer so what else could you want? I felt like I was cheating on my barber but Kirk knocked it out of the park! If you want a great cut and great environment then check this place out!

Hands down one of the best Barber shops in town! I took my 11 year old in for a long over due cut, was immediately greeted as we walked in the door. Only waited just a few short mins. Kurt was the one who cut my sons hair, pretty much just told him what he wanted to keep on his head (top curls) and let him do his magic. My son usually doesn't have too much confidence, but let me tell you he was checking himself out during the cut and after. Kurt was very friendly and patient with my little dude. The overall feel of the shop was very comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be using this place as our regular barbers.

Having lived in Asheville 9 years I have been to about six different shops, I found this shop in 2021 and figured I’d try it out. You will definitely wait here because the quality and attention to detail is unmatched in this town. Kirk easily produces the best haircut I have ever had, he doesn’t rush just to get in as many people in and out of his chair, he is focused on quality 💯! Finally found my spot! If you are tired of the status quo with barbers, you should give them a shot.

The owner, Jamie, is an all around great guy - funny, cute, friendly, and talented with a razor! My family and I found him because I needed a clean up in town for my brother’s wedding and we got a great surprise! We all had a great time chatting with Jamie and I received one of the best haircuts I ever have - even got several compliments from other guests at the wedding. Definitely recommend to any and all.

Ok so I’m going to say straight out that this is the best barber shop on Asheville! They focus on the small details that make barbers great! Kirk cut my hair, and it was so good that it made the next customer in line get the same haircut as me after seeing mine! I get a pretty difficult haircut. It’s a low bald fade, and it’s very slightly squared off up top (because I have a more round shaped face so it help even that out). I was shocked after going to all the different shops in Asheville after moving here from Detroit…..I finally found a shop that can cut like they do in the city. I’m so glad I decided to wait in line for my turn that day. I’d be confident in saying that they can cut just about any style that there your looking for. Now I have a new barber…..the best barber in town.
