This is the finest establishment in Asheville. Nor is the barber you wanna grab, she is very laid back and on fire with new cuts and styles! Also absolutely nice to look at wow. Everyone Chad, Alysa, and Sabrina are there to cut and style any hair or beard you have!!!!

Excellent service, excellent cut. Appointments are easy to book and available throughout the day and evening. I brought my four year old back for a cut. He was in an awful mood, but Ashley handled the situation expertly, distracting him with chit-chat while clipping his curls. Another barber, who I assume may be the owner, talked with me as well about kids cuts and was very helpful. Overall, I really like the vibe of this place.

Had a great first experience today at Asheville Barber Company!! Staff were all friendly and helpful. I was looking for a classic barbershop with lively conversation and good atmosphere, and I was not disappointed. I did not have an appointment but they were able to accommodate me as a walk in relatively quickly. I came in having not cut my hair for nearly three years and intent on chopping it all off. I ended getting a cut from Nur, who was pleasant to chat with and did an INCREDIBLE job. 10/10, would go again!!

Ashley is an artist! I had a couple things about my hair that I wanted done but left the rest up to her. She explained her vision to me very clearly and incorporated my wishes expertly. I’ve struggled for years to style my hair after bad haircuts. With her styling tips, I’ve been able to reproduce the look I’ve wanted everyday since. I LOVE this haircut. The ambiance is everything you hope a barber shop would be: warm, conversational, and even sometimes musical. The camaraderie between the barbers helps everyone feel welcome. As long as I am in Asheville, I will be getting my hair done by Ashley.

Best haircut/beard trim I’ve ever gotten, and that was under the pressure of knowing I was getting married a few hours later. I am very picky about who I go to for a haircut. It took some time to find this place but man, thank God I did! The staff are all very polite and professional and every one of them can cut hair exceptionally well! I have been a regular client of Nur’s for months now and I always leave with an amazing low skin fade and a clean hard-part. Highly recommend! Hunter did a fantastic job on my haircut. I booked it same-day online, and had a great time with the staff. They are so nice, accommodating, and easy to talk to. Let me start off by saying I’m extremely picky about who I let touch my hair. The barber that use to cut my hair moved to Colorado, so naturally I had to find someone else. Before he left, he recommended this place to get my haircut. You know when you sit down and they start cutting you can just instantly tell how it’s going to turn out? Tyler is a straight up legend. He does one of the best fades I’ve ever had. I’m very particular about how much hair I leave on the top because I like do to the classic Ivy League comb-over deal. He nails the length every time. Seriously, if you are looking for a place to get a fresh cut look no further. Tyler is the man you’re looking for.

Highly recommend this shop. Had an appt scheduled and the barber i originally booked with called in sick last minute. They handled it really well and ended up getting me in almost immediately as a walk in. Nur cut my hair and did a fantastic job. if you're looking for a great fade and razor work she's the one to call. Cut my hair exactly how i wanted it. This place is fantastic. Super clean, great vibes and all 3 barbers present had big smiles and warm welcomes for me. Chad gave me a great buzz cut. As a 36-year-old male with a rugged lifestyle I have found it difficult to find a barber to deliver on my hair style preference. As I have aged and my hair has began to thin. I have tried many different styles and almost all of them failed to feel like my hairstyle represented who I am as a person. After going to barber after barber there is only one so far that has delivered my expectations perfectly. I went in knowing exactly what I wanted and I couldn’t recommend Chad bright more. I showed him a picture of exactly what I was expecting and he blew me away with his skills. He took his time and I could tell he really gave a damn about making sure I walked out of there feeling solid. This is the second time I’ve had my haircut here and both times were great experiences. It feels like a real barbershop. Something Asheville sorely needs. Chad even introduced me to my new favorite product. That is something else that is hard to find with all the options these days.Pay this shop a visit. Let’s keep them around. Hell yes Chad. You’ll be seeing me again next month.

She is the barber with the bright green hair (subject to change) and, in my opinion, one of the best, brightest, most talented, most creative and most engaging of the current crop of young barbers/stylists to show up on the Asheville stage. This barber shop is a real barber shop. Don’t expect a whole lot of decor, frills, or frippery. I almost didn't post this because I selfishly dont want it to get busier, I Love this place. Moved to the area about 4 months ago, and just happened to go in because it's close to my house. By far, the best barber shop I've ever been to. I'm habitually bad about making barber appointments, so I normally walk in or scheduled with whoever is available. Every barber I've seen there has done an immaculate job. (Sabrina, Tyler, and Chad). Can't recommend it enough.

I can not begin to explain how awesome this place is. I am very cautious who I let touch my hair or my beard for this matter. I walked in and there was a bit of a wait. But it was well worth it. As soon as I walked I was offered a beer and it was amazing. I have had my hair cut a lot and met quite a few barbers. But I’m telling you right now, Nora is going places. After visiting Asheville Barber Company I quickly realized that instead of going to overpriced salons for most of my life, I really should been frequenting a barber shop that specializes in shorter hairstyles. I randomly choose Tyler from the roster of barbers, who just happened to be the owner, but I imagine any of his crew will do a fantastic job. Tyler was professional and enjoyable to conversate with and he gave me the best haircut I have had in recent memory. Got recommended this place by my mother & wow was it the best decision I had made to come here. Everyone was super friendly from the jump, I didn’t schedule an appointment but was able to walk in immediately. My barber Nur was fantastic, she helped me out in decided the perfect cut for me (because I usually keep my hair long so short is a big difference) and everything along the way from the experience to the outcome made up to be the best barber experience I have had in years. 10/10 recommend & want to give thanks to my barber Nur for absolutely killing it & being fantastic!!

Nur was my barber today and she cut my hair so good it looked like I had a full head of hair and you couldn't even see the bald spots. The first time I visited this shop, I was immediately welcomed by the owner, Tyler, and there was an immediate rapport. I felt very welcomed and grabbed a beer (perfect touch). I was then introduced to Ashley. I showed her a couple of pictures and explained what I was going for, which was different than what I typically get done. she was excellent at communicating but not feeling forced. When I say she killed it, I mean she fn killed it. I have been all over Asheville looking for a good shop, and today, I stumbled upon the best place I have ever walked into. Thank you. So I quickly headed down there and was immediately greeted and was able to sit right away. The new employee Samantha was able to take care of me and my absurdly long hair. I just moved to Asheville from Arizona so it's been a minute since I got my haircut last. I was going to go with my normal haircut but after awhile she asked if I was sure I wanted to go that short and I decided to go out on a limb and let her have fun and had her choose. I wont go anywhere else for a haircut. Tyler cuts my hair at ABC and I followed him over from the last shop he worked at because of how good he is. I love the vibe at ABC - beer on tap - outdoor seating and parking available right outside the shop and great tunes playing with an authentic barber shop feel. Everyone I have met in there is wonderful, professional and considers their job an art form, which I believe it is. I have received more compliments on my haircut then I ever had in the past prior to going to Tyler. I was told in an elevator recently by a guy who said he was a barber from out of town, then it was the best fade he had seen. I use the app to make reservations and I have never had to wait. i know that ABC accommodates walk-ins, but I would encourage you to book online. And hell, even if you do have to wait a minute - grab a beer and chill outside - you could even have a cigar from the humidor. Cant say enough great things about ABC. And to the one dude who complained about the price - go back to super cuts, punk.

This is the coolest barber shop I have ever been too. Tyler cut my hair the other day, and I'm impressed with the cut. It looks great. In addition the stellar quality hair cuts, the shop offers a cigar humidor, beer on tap, and a chill/relaxed setting. Most barber shop patrons, myself included, see a haircut as more than just a cut. Stepping into a great barber shop means that you're going to have a good conversation and that you can just be yourself. In other words, the barber's chair is a place where you can be as funny or as serious as you want to be. You'll find this and more at Asheville Barber Company. I have had one cut there, but I already consider myself a regular. Tyler and the crew are good people, and you'll be glad you stopped in.

Tyler is hands-down the best barber in Asheville PERIOD! When I first moved to Asheville, I used Google reviews to try and find the best spot possible. luckily I walked in to the shop Tyler was working at the time, and just by chance he was the one to give me a cut. THE FRESHEST CUTS!! Over the past years I had gotten my haircut from 2 other people at his former shop, because he was not working. Wow that was a mistake!!! After that I always made sure I called to make sure that Tyler was working, and I happily sat on the waiting list to make sure that he was the one that cut my hair. Now that he has opened his own shop, my only reaction was ITS ABOUT TIME! Great cuts, great atmosphere, good conversation, good laughs, and his location could not be easier to get to and find parking free all over. No more paying to park downtown and then walking all the way to the shop. I never write reviews... but Tyler deserves beyond 5/5 stars ⭐️ . Not only a great barber, but a great personality to go along with it.

What a great find! My experience with Asheville Barber Company was nothing short of perfect. I stumbled upon this little gem on an outing to the local Walgreens.. it’s conveniently in the same parking lot! I decided to give them a call and they fit me into their busy schedules and had an appointment for me within a few hours. They paired me with Ashley.. what a doll! She listened intently to what I was looking for in a haircut.. and asked questions along the way to ensure my haircut was exactly what I was looking for. Being a woman at a barber shop.. I felt nothing short of incredibly welcomed. The owner was a ball of fun and the overall atmosphere was very comfortable and inviting. Did I mention they gave me a free draft IPA with my haircut?? There is an outdoor seating area to enjoy your beverage.. they even have cigars available if you’d like a pairing.. I will undoubtedly be back for my cuts in the future!

I've gone to a ton of barber shops in AVL and this is the best shop without a doubt. The location is great. It's easy to get to, tons of free parking. The shop is bright and clean on the inside. A nice mix of old school with some modern flavor. The best part is that I know I will always get an amazing cut every time I go there. Tyler's cuts are super clean and tight. My husband hadn’t had a hair cut since March. When we finally decided to go somewhere, we wanted it to be somewhere where we knew did excellent work and where we felt safe to go during this time. We felt extremely safe going to Asheville Barber Company as they are upholding the highest safety precautions during COVID-19 (taking temperatures upon arrival, supplying masks, providing hand sanitizer stations). The cut my husband got looked awesome, and he enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere of ABC was fun, and they are developing a space outside where you can hang out while someone is getting a cut or you’re waiting for your own. Tyler (the owner) is talented, and you feel like you’re talking to an old friend when you talk to him, and Michelle (his wife) is personable and kind. I recommend Asheville Barber Company if you’re looking for a place that does excellent work, where you’ll feel safe to go during COVID-19, and where you will enjoy both the atmosphere and the people who work there.
