I took my 4 year old son to get a haircut here and the owner was the one that did it and she was fantastic! It was the first time he didn’t cry or freak out from a haircut and she was so fast and did such a great job on the cut itself! I’m very impressed. Plus my son loved looking at the dogs she had with her and I think that helped distract him in the best way. Thank you Stay Golden for a great haircut and great experience!

Every time I come in I get a fantastic haircut, I don't have to wait long or pay a lot, they even beat out salons and barber shops in Anchorage. If you're looking for a haircut in Alaska this should be your only stop.

It's rare to be impressed by a business twice. I went here a year ago and went again recently to have my twice yearly haircut and beard trim. The gal working, I think her name was Taylor (I'm so sorry if I have the wrong name) did a great job. I had a trim, shaved and waxed some places and did a great job. I was also very impressed how she treated my son and cut his hair. It was his first time going to get his haircut anywhere and was scared. She made him feel good and did a fantastic job with him. We'll definitely be back again. I highly recommend Stay Golden Barber.

I am so happy with the experience I had at Stay Golden barber studio! I have had long hair my entire life and was never planning on cutting it. I recently broke my arm and couldn’t really take care of it, and unfortunately had developed a giant knot that I couldn’t untangle. Not only did I receive an affordable haircut at a studio that mainly caters to men, but I also got a much needed boost in confidence! EVERYONE has been commenting on my hair and it feels amazing. Thank you Stay Golden for the best haircut yet!

My husband goes here and we also bring our kiddos. We get a clean fantastic haircut every time and she is great with our youngest who is not a fan of haircuts apparently. We won’t go anywhere else for a cut as we cannot find anyone who gets a great cut EVERY time!! 10/10 recommend!!

I have been to all of the Barbers in the Valley, this is the only one that I will go to. Never have I had a bad experience. This is a one woman show and she works very had to make sure everything is perfect. It can get busy at times and that is ok. Be patient and you will get the best hair cut you can get in the state. Would recommend Stay Golden to anyone.

One of the few barber’s I trust to cut my hair. Although the owner is understaffed due to the lack of barbers in the valley, people are still willing to wait for a quality, affordable haircut. They do military discount! That’s a plus!
