Nice guy who is friendly and talkative, but he needs to be more aware and considerate of paying customers time. I called before arrival to schedule a time. Walk in only and cash only. Okay and I can understand a wait, but it ended up being 2 hours. And after he talks about if I want to schedule I can call. No man I already did call and you didn't say that, so I won't be coming back to this barber

I had an appointment for a haircut at 9 a.m. this morning. 9 a.m. is the time the shop opens. He wasn't there. No one was there. I'm giving three stars instead of one star because I know that things can come up unexpectedly, and if I were a regular customer, I'd probably understand. But this was my first appointment. And my last.

Best barber in ABQ. Normally folks say your haircut looks better three days after as it grows in a bit. Not here. Richard is an artist. I came in with a mess of a head of hair after two months without a proper cut. He made it look fresh and clean. Great atmosphere and music at his shop. A true barber. Good conversation and an awesome haircut. My boyfriend and I go there as our primary barber. Great shop. Give him a try and you’ll be coming back.

Rich fit me in right away even though I dropped in with no appointment. This was my first time to a barber since I'm a long haired lady but I shave and like designs on the side of my head and he made sure I got exactly what I wanted. Used his barber skills to give me a perfect clean fade and sharp design but made sure it was still feminine and that I was comfortable with every step. He explained what he was doing along the way and was also super chill and friendly. We had a nice conversation and he was speedy. Legit, a good experience all around. You can tell he cares about his work and his customers. Will totally be back.

Rich was awesome with my son. Will definitely be going back. ETA: my son refuses to go anywhere else for a haircut, which says a lot for an 8 year old that doesn’t really care about where we go for most things. I called Rich a few weeks ago and he said he was busy, but gave us an idea of the best time to go in. I told my son if there was a long wait, we’d have to go somewhere else and my son flat out refused! Rich has had to fix/salvage the horrible haircuts my ex has gotten our son and he’s done a great job.

Hands down the best barber I've ever been to, and that covers more years that I'd care to think about. Rich has a great group of barbers working there. They have incredible attention to detail, take a lot of time to listen to exactly what you want, and then deliver with a better attitude than you have any right to expect from a barber. Seriously. Rich is a perfectionist -- which is to say that you cannot crawl out of the chair until he is happy with your cut, and he is more picky than I am about the results. All of that comes at a great price and with friendly service. Don't be turned off by the number of people waiting when you try them out, as I almost did. The wait is worth the results. Highly recommended.

Great Experience. I got a haircut, beard trim and shave for a reasonable price. My barber was Rich, the owner, who typically handles appointments while the other barbers handle the walk-ins. The lines were straight and clean, and my shave was close. The conversation was good and I got along with everyone. This was my first trip so I can't speak to their skills, but I could tell they take their craft serious just by watching. My wait was long, but I realized that's because they take their time to get it right.

Only place my son and I will get our haircuts. All the staff is great and friendly. My son and I see Rich, the guy is amazing at cutting hair. I highly recommend Goodfellas, so do alot of other people so expect a wait if you're a walk in.

Best place to get a haircut. I've tried many places before this one and once I went here, I found my place. Rich, Daniel, or Walter they are all great at what to do. Can get a face shave there that feels amazing afterward. Favorite Barber for me is Rich or Daniel. Great atmosphere

Don't let the looks scare you off, this place does a great cut. The barbers are really cool guys and the cut for the price is crazy good. $15. (Tip you cheapskate) the wait can be long but they have couches and it's fun to chill and hangout.

Went in for a clean up, didn’t wait long and was greeted by all of the staff. Cleanest fade I’ve gotten for an even better price! My barber was concentrated on making sure I walked out looking clean and happy with the service! Tip these guys, prices are more than worth what you walk out with!

Rich is a mad beard scientist! I've had my beard trimmed at multiple places in town and nobody, NOBODY hacks out my beard like Rich. This man gives a damn about your beard. Your vision is his vision and by the time he's done you want him to be happy with it because you were happy with it a half an hour ago. His bar is way above yours. Worth the time. Worth the money.....and he under charges. Become a regular before he figures out what he is worth!

I have been going to Goodfellas for over a year. I moved to ABQ in March of 2015 and did not get my haircut until I went back to my home town in July! I found Goodfellas shortly after thanks to my two good friends Mike and Sal who are regulars there. No one else has touched my hair since! They can do it all, the right way, the first time. Price is awesome, I always tip because they go above and beyond. Excellent service, stand-up gentleman working the place. Kid friendly!

I've been going to Riich since I was 14 (currently26) and have followed him but for the past few years has done very good for him self all of the barbers there all strive to make u as happy as possible!💇‍♂️ Not just for men but they also have a grate hairdresser 💇‍♀️and a nail salon 💅inside to.. so it can be a one stop shop for ur family... but they definitely should be at least checked out so you can see for yourself! 👍
