I moved from another local credit union to Advantis three years ago, and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made! Each time I enter the branch I am greeted by a customer service representative with a smile and the words of “How may we help you?” Their professionalism, support and friendliness are outstanding and always set me at ease when I arrive. I wanted to remodel my home and I was not sure how this process worked because I never had the need to pull out any equity. Based on my friend’s experiences at other institutions, I was leery in approaching a loan officer to ask my questions. From the moment I sat down with Marissa Bianco I felt a since calmness. Her attentiveness to my questions was quite impressive and she is very knowledge of the products Advantis offers. After our length discussion she recommended the best option that would meet my needs. Her continued support and excellent communication throughout made it as stress free as possible. Once approved, it was handed off to Patience Hamilton, Home Equity Lending Specialist. She is amazing, detailed, communicative, supportive, knowledgeable, and always friendly. She handheld me throughout the closing process and always took my calls, to answer my question The whole closing process was seamless because she is stellar at her Job! I just cannot say enough good things about being a member of Advantis, and for those of you looking for a new Credit Union, choose Advantis, I am happy I did!

Been with Advantis since 1979. I've had many situations when I needed a sympathetic financial institution. Advantis rose to my needs every time! Not maybe in the way I thought, but worked out better for me. You don't get that at a traditional institution. I feel I have been shepherded along from a terrible credit score to now it is excellent. Very proud. Advantis is for you! Not profits.

When I initially opened an account at Advantis, I was put off by their inability to show a current account balance. Its not so bad. They are a good bank with friendly people. I enjoy going in there. The nice thing about them is they don't play the same games as US Bank or some of the other profit hungry animals. The people who work at Advantis are genuinely nice people. I was thrilled when I left US Bank. I advise everyone else to do the same.

The credit union itself is a bit clunky at times. Although those hiccups are usually due to them trying to take extra precautions to prevent identity theft. At this particular credit union I've only had good experiences. Granted I don't go in every week, maybe once every other month. Everyone I've talked with is courteous and quick. The best part is even when their is a minor line they have always opened another till or had one of their associates take care of people. I love the fact that I don't feel like a number, but a real human being. Overall the best banking experience I've every had.

I joined Advantis because I wanted to bank locally and have more of a connection with my community. I don't have perfect credit, but they were able to open a checking account for me. Their updated online banking is really great and for being a local credit union Advantis is really convenient.

I lov Advantis credit union. I am so happy I switched to them 3 years ago for all of my banking needs. I have my mortgage through them as well. My favorite parts: fusion checking, the ease of using their online banking system, and how easy it is to communicate with them (even when traveling overseas). You can skype them or use messaging and they respond quickly. Thanks Advantis.

I've been banking with Advantis since December 2016. I love that they are open on Saturdays for a few hours, the amazing customer service and competitive rates. I was able to roll my debt into a personal loan and in less than two years I am now debt free. I look forward to the day I can have a mortgage with advantis!

I love this credit union's staff. You get the feeling they are valued by their bosses and not treated like interchangeable parts the way workers in the big banks are treated. They 've always been super helpful and competent.

The bank its self is outstanding. However I wish they had more actual branches. The nearest one to Milwuakie is Woodstock and they only have a "virtual" teller which was unusable. I finally left and made my commute to Belmont where I can do my business with an actual person.

I'm sorry but I just have to get this out. To the dreadlocked guy that didn't understand why they had to run a credit check.... I have NEVER opened a bank account WITHOUT EXPECTING to have them run a credit check. And, unfortunately, "in todays day and age" just paying off student loans doesn't really give you a credit history. Also, with the location of this bank, I'm sure they deal w/people of all sorts. Bottom line: I don't think they were discriminating against you. I think this was a simple case of business policies standing in the way of you getting an account, not prejudices! I'm sorry but I' can't stand when people look past the facts just to blame everything on the world being out to get them. Best of luck to you in further endevours!!!

Massive improvement over a couple years ago. Everything is smooth sailing now, and their investment group is doing awesome work for us! They helped us get a HELOC and the process was pretty much effortless.

Pros: Best rates all around, least amount of fees. Everyone is always really nice. Cons: Not enough branches. Not open on Saturday’s. RECENT CHANGES TO THEIR ONLINE BANKING AND CREDIT CARD SYSTEM CAUSED A LOT OF PROBLEMS. STILL UNRESOLVED MONTHS LATER.

This branch closed in June in preparation for demolition as part of the Milwaukie Light Rail Project. I've worked three blocks away for 27 years and am sorry to see it go. ATMs are still operating.

Always good service, locations are a bit sparse. They don't kill you with fees like IQ or US Bank. Interest rates although high are competitive and generally a bit lower.
