This is the first bank I chose when I started college and 10 years later I'm still with them. They always have pretty quick service and I never have to wait too long to see a banker. Everyone that works here is generally friendlier than most tellers from other banks and seem to generally enjoy being there. I've had one or two bumpy service experiences with the tellers here over the past year but I will say that their customer service phone reps are some of the most pleasant, proactive and responsive people I've ever had the pleasure to speak to from any company. My recent phone experience with Sarah was especially uplifting and her warm customer service rapport was the highlight of my day.

Lisa and Crystal are amazing at the Monroe branch!!! I was having a very difficult time getting a balance transfer completed. Although we have been with the credit union for over 20 years, I considered leaving. By chance, I reached Lisa Day by phone and she saved the day. Lisa was so kind and patient. She followed up and helped to get my servicing processed. Lisa enlisted Crystal McGovern to help while she was out of the office. Crystal was also very kind and patient. Crystal did alot of follow up for me as well.

I needed some help with a check that was put on hold and I left a message with the manager, Lisa Day. I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly she returned my call, took care of my request immediately, and then thanked me for being a member of OneAZ. As someone who once banked with a large national bank, there is a day and night difference with a credit union. Banks make you feel like a customer and credit unions make you feel like a member. OneAz is the best bank ever! I have had WellsFargo & Bank of America in the past. Super lame banks that are predatory and charge fees to our society who can’t afford to keep a minimum balance in their accounts. That’s right. Lets penalize you for being poor…. Had a charge on my debit card from a food app that charged my debit card but never placed our food order with the restaurant. I called the Monroe branch and spoke with Angie who walked me through the dispute process, filled it out for me and sent it to me for signature. I’ve been a member of OneAZ Credit Union for over 30 years. I’ve always been pleased with their service. But recently, Monroe branch manager Lisa Day has been extraordinarily helpful in assisting me with a new car loan and working with the car dealership that has created some difficulties in getting the car titled and licensed. I truly appreciate the extra support Ms. Day has provided me in working with the dealership. I doubt this level of service would have been offered by a large national bank.

Anthony Sotelo in the Monroe branch is the best banker I have ever met. He is nice, responsive, and efficient. He helped me open my checking account in less than 30 minutes. He does not ask any dumb questions. He provided me all the required information I need to be cautious such as fees.

Ladies, I'm writing to you both to express how pleased I am with the service provided by Marilynn Enriquez Suarez. I have been a member of the credit union since 1996. Since then there have been several great outstanding employees there. I didn't think that anyone could replace Gladis Soto, and Javier Aguilera came close, but Marilynn takes it to another level. Marilynn is always friendly, professional and responsive. I never feel like I'm intruding on Marilynn's time and she always follows through on what she says she's going to do. Recently Marilynn helped my wife and I figure out an issue we needed a quick answer to. She called with the information ready, gave us the answer and was gracious about it. Marilynn's mantra is, "Just call me and I'll take care of it." LOVE THAT! In a time when customers are directed to apps and websites, Maryilynn still realizes what outstanding customer service looks like and we sincerely appreciate it. I read the previous review from a dis-heartened member and I have to say that I have experienced the total opposite with my dealings with the Credit Union! I have been a member for over 20-25 years and I have nothing to say except gratitude and praise for the outstanding work each worker has given to me. From the tellers inside to the convenient drive thru for banking needs to the buying of new/used cars, they have always been helpful, courteous and wanting the best for me. Their interest rates are exceptional so I deal with them instead of car dealers. I have had problems with Probate and Gladis Soto has gone above and beyond to help me by going as far back to 2014 to retrieve archived bank summaries to assist me with the Court's requirements. They have notarized everything I needed and we know each other by first name basis. I have never had this kind of help with any banking institution ever. When calling regarding a Visa question to changing my password to general questions, I always get assistance and they have always taken a burden off of my back with whatever I am dealing with at the time. I had my dad change from a bank to the OneAZ credit union years ago and we have been very happy about the trnsfer. When I walk into the "new:" AZ State Credit Union of One AZ Credit Union, I am hopeful that people that do not just work for the State, will use this banking service as it is available to anyone who wishes to have a real good banking experience. I will never change to a bank ever again and I can say that everyone who works there are there to help, asssist and make you feel less worried about financial issues. Honestly I have never ever gotten this treatment in any banking facility ever, it was AMAZING. I have been going thru a rough patch with the passing of my father I have gotten into some heavy overdraft issue and playing the catch up game. I went in not expecting anything and thinking I hope they can do something for me and help me in some way. I signed in and have not been seated for 3 minutes when out came Gladis, with the friendliest most caring smile. I sat down with her and explained my situation, she showed so much care and compassion. She was willing to help me and had plan A and plan B, but she never gave up on me. She gave me plan B, and I was so RELIEVED and THANKFUL that yes I did cry a little and had to give her a huge and warm hug. I walked out of my bank feeling like a huge weight had just come off my back, and I have GLADIS the loan specialist to thank. I will be forever be grateful and a loyal customer to OneAZ Credit Union for years to come. She is a great asset to you establishment, give her a raise. :)

We LOVE our credit union! We’ve been with One AZCU for four years. In fact, this location was just being opened when we started our account with them. The people who work here are always helpful & kind. If you’re looking for a change in baking options, seriously consider One AZCU! They are opening more locations across the state to make banking more convenient, as well. You won’t regret a change to ONE AZCU!

Yes this is a pretty good Bank as far as a bank but the things that you need that cannot be done. like take money from a regular bank and put it into my account that’s ok but I cannot take money from one AZ account. and put it into a regular bank without being charged as in six dollars at a time

Been a member all my life, however when it comes to what members should pay, is disgraceful. They make member pay for what someone should pay if not a member. All I wanted was a moneyorder and they charged me 3 dollars and shrugged and the girl had an attitude. That service that shouldn't be allowed

First of all, Crystal is fantastic. 5 stars for her!!! She fixed my issue “noted below” within about an hour of posting this review. If ANYONE has any issues, please speak with her; she’s always helpful and sweet. She’s also working on fixing the irregularities in this feature, and I can now come in and make a principal-only payment every month. They also refunded me the $ amount. THANK YOU CRYSTAL!!!!!!!!! 😊 OLD REVIEW: I only have one issue, and it’s with another person and a big one. I had received a car loan and was told that all extra payments would come off my principal. Fast forward 6 months, making a total of $2,642.35 additional payments and only receiving most of it, “not all of it,” off my principal. Last month, I worked with Liliana on adding savings accounts, and I asked if all of the extra payments could be fixed to the “principal only” since, again, I was initially told that this was what would be done. After an extra hour or so, she said to me that all of my old payments had been taken care of and the amounts taken off the principal only, as I had initially asked. She also told me that a button in my account should allow me to place my extra payments toward my principal. This “button” must not have been activated yet, and to call in every month to take care of my additional payments. Fast forward to this month. I called in to make an additional payment. Unfortunately, the teller told me I could only take my extra payment off my principal if I came into a branch. I even worked with her and paid online, and the “principal only button” DID NOT miraculously pop up. Then I told her what Liliana told me the previous month. She spoke with her, and Liliana lied. Basically, all of my $2,642.35 extra payments had NOT COME OFF OF THE PRINCIPAL ONLY.
