This bank has "THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE STATE!" I switched banks because of it! Originally I just went in for a shared branch transaction. But when I was done, I insisted on opening an account here. The entire staff was so polite, respectful, helpful, and full of information I needed to know about my financial situation. Lalo ...the branch manager, Susana.. the new girl, along with Anthony and Taylor all worked together with providing me information I asked for and needed to know that gave me the best banking experience a customer could ask for. "BIG THANKS" to the staff of Copper State Credit Union of Bell Rd.

It was a pleasure banking here. The bankers were extremely helpful and friendly. I'm from out of state and this credit union is a co-op to mine back home. I was in a predicament and needed a cashiers check right away. All other credit unions had limitations on how much of my money I could get. Not here. I was able to get done everything I needed extremely fast and easy with zero hassles. I wish I got the name of the banker because she could not have been more helpful. Thank you for being a great bank really helped me out that day.

Lisa Camacho at your Bell branch did a wonderful job today working with me. She was extremely knowledgable and very pleasant to work with. She knew her products, processes, and was very timely in getting me in and out completely satisfied. What could be an improvement is adding a link to your website taking members directly to the Google Review page to leave a review. And / Or putting a QR Code on the little cards that your employees are handing members so they can capture the QR Code image with their phone, which in turn links them directly to your Google Review page.

I have been a member of this credit union for 6 or 7 years now. Used to be Deer Valley CU. I have had refi car loans and mortgages ( just did my 2nd cash out refi) with them as well as checking and savings accounts. There were a few hiccups during the merger but nothing that a little patience and understanding didn't get through. I have had an overall excellent experience with this credit union and just refinanced again with them. This is a locally financed credit union not the big impersonal banks or the mega unions. The online banking is very good and I have had a good experience with this credit union. Some of the other reviews sound a lot like sour grapes. I'm glad that my credit union is strict about verifying IDs and careful in their lending and banking practices.

I needed a loan for an unexpected medical expense and I was connected with Taylar and she was great to work with. She listened to my needs and why I was requesting help. She also worked with by me and the underwriters on my behalf to get my entire situation to them to help get me the money I needed. Because of her quick help and dedication I was able to get my medical issue handled and not have to worry. Great credit union, branch and lending specialist in Taylar.

I’ve been banking with this credit union since around 2008, and although it’s changed names the people who I’ve been banking with have stayed the same. They are kind, more kind than I’ve seen at any other financial institution. These last two years, I’ve lost my job and gone through just about every financial problem you could think of. They stuck with me and helped me through it the whole time, even though it probably would have been easier to just close my accounts and send me to collections.(Like most other places did.) But even just this last weekend my truck broke down, and I didn’t know what I was going to do. When I opened up about my situation, Judy, Callie, and the whole surprise branch really went to bat for me, to say I was surprised is an understatement, Now I have no worries getting to and from work and making sure I can see my babies as often as I want. Words can not say how absolutely grateful I am to the people at this branch. Thank you Surprise branch for all you’ve done me, I’m a member for life, I guess you are just stuck with me.

I use this credit union quite often since it allows me to make a deposit into a different credit union that is not in Arizona. (Many CUs do not provide this service because one of the conditions of offering this service is that they are not allowed to attempt to get the customer to switch credit unions.) I have always found the employees of the Bell Rd and I-17 branch to be friendly and helpful. (If you have not visited this branch you may not realize that its signage has always said "Deer Valley Credit Union" but shortly after it was opened, it was acquired by Copper State CU.) My one complaint is that I have often had to wait several minutes in the lobby because all of their customer service agents are either dealing with the drive-thru customers or are elsewhere in the building. There are 4 teller stations but often only one teller is visible and the other stations are vacant. I'm not sure if this is a management problem or a staffing issue but it is mildly annoying when there are several customers waiting to conduct some kind of transaction and we can see 3 or 4 loan officers or other (non-teller) employees working at their desks around the lobby but no one is available to help the walk-in customers.

Overall is a decent financial institution. Though following the recent merger it has not kept its promise to keep the “same” benefits as evident by the fact that they no longer cash savings bonds. As old school as paper savings bonds may be, I needed them to be cashed for a down payment on a home and they declined to do it, even though prior to the merger they were always willing to do it and did it well. I will soon be closing my accounts here and moving to Chase as they do offer savings bond redemption and will likely have the same or better features than DVCU as far as checking accounts go. If you just need a place to put your money with no bells or whistles, they’re okay.

BEST banking experience I have ever had!!! Everyone is always so friendly and helpful whenever I need help or have a question. I have been a member for over five years. I don't even live in Arizona anymore, but continue to use Deer Valley Credit Union because of their excellent customer service. Remote banking through the Deer Valley App is super easy and user friendly. Thank you for being AWESOME!!!

Became a member a little over 2 years ago. They provide great service and have been approved for two auto loans with low interest. Fast deposits unlike my other Credit Union takes 2-3 business days to make funds available when ATM deposits are made. Also love the fact they make my check available a day before my actual payday I get paid Tuesdays at work and funds are available Monday by 8 am. I have recommended this place to many co-workers for auto loans and highly recommend anyone to try them out.

Deer Valley Credit union is by far the best bank I've ever dealt with. I have been a member with them for 15 years.. They always treat me well. They know me by name, and they have done things for me to help me out in a financial pinch, that no big bank would ever do.. I can honestly say that they really care about there members. Best credit union ever ! I don’t even live in Arizona any longer but still use them as my main financial institution. Remote banking is very easy and convenient via the app oh and pay day is always one day earlier . Lastly you can always find a free atm to use yes free at no charge nationwide

My grandfather was a Honeywell employee many many years ago. He moved the family to Phoenix in 1972. Since then our family has used DVCU although it was under a very different name back then. Not once has any family member ever had an issue over this almost 50 year relation we have shared with DVCU. Thank you for being such a great credit union.

I had no idea what a credit union was or how it was different than a typical bank. I know now that a big difference is that it's a smaller feel where you feel like a member of a family rather than just a number in a big institute. I opened my account online but had some additional questions so I talked to Chrissy Lamar at the Bell Rd location. She answered all my questions and made me feel cared about and safe about putting my money there. Customer service matters to me, and I'm very happy with the way I've been treated at Cooper State so far. Thank you!
