She was super responsive with phone calls and emails and she was just helpful throughout everything. I work and train customer service and she definitely set the gold standard for Weststar. Give her a raise immediately!

I have be with this bank for the past 3 years, and for the most part they're an OK bank to go with. In my personal opinion, they are behind other banks when it comes to services they offer. I did have some issues throughout my time with WestStar. For example, there have been a few times that I tried to make a purchase online, and half of the time your card doesn't go through because it was detected as suspected fraud. Following that, my card/account would be blocked and would either have to call or go into one of their branches to resolve the issue. If this bank were to catch up to other banks and become more up to date, then I believe it would be better.

I declared BK and was rebuilding my credit. John told me how to help accomplish that after getting me a less outrageous rate than my original one in September. My credit kept improving and I refinanced again. Now my rate is half of what it was when I 1st talked to John 4 months ago. Thank you John Antes and Weststar Credit Union.

I had an issue with them taking money out for a new account, for a charity and I left a message with the President. I got a very nice call from a lady who was very helpful. They were just trying to qualify me and didn't know I was contracted out to the casinos. They absorbed the cost of the contribution and we are good now. Excellent response, wonderful service

I wish I had joined WestStar Credit Union years ago! I was aware of their excellent service whenever I visited with my daughter. Unfortunately, I committed to One Nevada at that time. A choice I grew to regret. My experience yesterday while being enlighning, informative and rewarding, it was relaxing. Ms. Kelly could not have been more helpful and kind. She carefully explained every step involved in becoming a member of a highly rated organization. She covered every question and informed us of the day to day operation. It took 6 days to finalize the loan. The person that took care of my loan, Trevor, was awesome and very caring. The underwriter unfortunately had their own agenda when it came to timeliness when approving the loan. It was stressful playing the waiting game for 6 days, but we got the loan finalized.

They are very nice & broke down everything like no other bank has to me. I would be over paying for my car & having a high interest rate if it wasn’t for them. I fully recommend them.

I love this Credit Union, they have always been pleasant and helpful. The entire staff are always gracious and listen/answer any question you have. I have been a member for over 4 years now.

No maintenance fees Have second chance banking, which they do have a monthly fee for, but goes away after you have the account for a certain amount of time if you don't go into default. Money-back when you use credit with your debt card. I have no complaints.

Westar has the most friendly and helpful people. Service is very personal, and they strive to meet your needs. I wouldn't bank anywhere else. I just wish they has a location closer to Craig Rd.
