My parents always tried to support Black owned businesses. They open their checking & savings accounts when it was Riverside National Bank on Blodgett in1963. Dad passed in 1993 & as my mother aged she placed me on the accounts. Didn't have a lot of dealings except for occasional banking for her after they open branch in Missouri City. She passed in 2019 & the staff was truly amazing in their assistance in the process working with me during a difficult time. In addition to the joint account already in place I opened another checking account. I have always received GREAT service whether by phone or in person & any issues always resolved same day in a timely manner. Look forward to working with staff in opening several Estate accounts in a few weeks.

Had an issue with my online account password and recovery email and when calling the associate at the Blodgett location I was given help with much ease. I was frustrated to a great extent about my situation and was easily guided and given the proper information as to how to recover what was needed. That customer service was immaculate!

I recently had an issue with my account but from the moment I called to the point of my arrival, I was treated with excellent customer service. I have had my account for a few years now. Initially, I opened it to help further minority banks and I am glad to have done so. Although they don’t have many services like their competitors, they are continuously making improvements and I have seen the growth. I want to thank Ashley Martin once again for her assistance in fixing my account situation so promptly. I will continue to bank with Unity bank for as long as I can. I know they will continue to grow and display great customer service.

I feel Unity Bank is a Family!!! I really appreciate Angela (Customer Service Manager) & Linda going out of their way to assist me during my time of need. The staff are very professional, accommodating, and thoughtful! During this quarantine, we were in the midst of traveling. The areas we were going to visit were closed or being barracaded. The hotels we had reserved were being cancelled on us. So we decided to stay put where we were until things rolled over. But we could not access our funds, and this amazing bank were able to wire the money from my Savings into another bank checking account, so we could stay put. We will travel home when things cleared up. This eliminated much stress. We have our vehicle (so no flying back the thousand+ miles) and we a family of 8. So this helped us tremendously. Thank you😍

I greatly appreciated her professionalism and how she told me what she can do for me instead of what she can't do. There are so many businesses out there that are focused on saying no to everything that they miss the opportunity to help people. Ashley took great care of me and gave great advice!

To all the idiots posting negatively about the banking experience based on things you yourselves are responsible for...you didn't get the purpose of opening an account with a black owned bank. My experience hasn't been perfect but I remain loyal because THEY NEED US! Quit expecting to be spoon fed by your people. I love the service overall and look forward to maintaining a great relationship with my bank.

Although locations are limited, opening accounts at Unity is one of the best decisions we’ve made. Customer Service is great and they are adding features that make banking more convenient. It was important to us to invest in Black owned businesses and banks, and we have yet to be disappointed.

I have an account here because I want to have some of money in a black owned bank. Yes, the service is limited and there are only two locations, but, to me, the ends justify the means and it's worth the once a year trip to make a deposit. At least now the drive thru is open on Saturdays! #isupportblackownedestablishments

The check-in was amazing, but once my name was called to open a checking account, it wasn't the best experience. The person that opened my account wasn't as nice to work with, she wasn't warm at all. Again, the check-in staff were awesome.

i went in today and opened an account. everyone was friendly, helpful, and the process to open was quick! i even met the president of the bank, who is surprisingly approachable! never been to a bank like this!
