I've been using Fig for at least eight months now...not a bad lending service but don't switch or change bank accounts. You won't get a loan and there's no one to call about this, so when I really could've used a loan they wouldn't give me one due to a new account that hadn't been used yet. I tried to email them to no avail and never heard back but I kept checking only to see that I couldn't get the loan. I've been a customer for awhile though so keep that in mind. I should be able to change my bank account if necessary.

This is my second time using them this is by far the best loan services they are understanding the payments are very low and set out biweekly. This company has helped me in my darkness time me wondering how I would get gas and food… I have now gotten back on my feet because of them I would borrow for them as many times as I can now that I know when I am in need I have a company to trust and rely on thank you fig loans !!

happy getting loan but can't talk to anyone, won't let me change due date by one day and been sending emails and messages for 2 days no response. so basically terrible customer service. changed from 1 star they rescheduled it just didn't notify me. so all good now

The only thing I disagree with is the fees and high loan rates; however, Fig Loan company keep you informed ahead of your payment dates and allow you to reschedule if you do not have the funds available on your due date. Also, your payment is reported to your credit report.

It does take a little away from the amount but I had an emergency and they worked with me. I would suggest this company who needs money in a pinch. Fig is honestly such a good place to get a loan. They are quick to answer back and the money comes almost instantly. They also help with your credit and it just makes the most sense to get a loan through them. I've used them multiple times and have never had an issue. I started using Fig Loans back in September of 2021. I was given 6 months to pay my loan back but I made my payments every 2 weeks with the last payment being in November. I applied for another loan, same amount in December and I'll be making my last payment on February 18th. You can change your payment schedule which is what I did. I'll continue to use Fig Loans, I've haven't had any issues with their services.

I gave Fig only 3 stars because in theory it is a good loan company with low rates but they do not extend grace to anyone who may get off track on payments. Please don't confuse Grace with grace period. Let me explain... at the onset of Covid we were not working as many hours as before. I got a couple payments behind. Finally I was able to get set up on a repayment plan. A little later I went to borrow again and they put me on some type of program to re-establish my track record for paying on time. I paid on time every time and got up to $500 and then they suddenly dropped my re-borrowimg amount to $200. Stating that I extended my loan 2x in the repayment process. This is the GRACE PERIOD and it is free to use but I was penalized for using it because their repayment date didn't align with my paydates. So it's a good loan if you can get approved but they lack in the area of forgiveness... don't ever fall on hard times because they won't understand.

I was originally denied due to my bank account not showing an insufficient amounts of direct deposit pay statements; however, I was able to email my paystubs to prove I do earn that certain amount. My job payroll system sometimes malfunction, and I have to get a manual check. Fig loans was understanding and reconsidered their decision. Less than 1 hour I was approved! My funds was in my account the next day. Update: 6/13/19 Although Fig Loans did reconsidered their decision and approved my loan. I did run into a problem right before my last monthly payment. On there website it states that refinancing is an option. The rep mentioned as long as my income did not change, I'm current and have one payment left it should not be a problem to approve the refinance. Well in order to refinance their underwriters had to do another the bank verification a 2nd time around to see if my income changed. The underwriters thought different and while verifying my income through bank verification they seen I had other loans being taken out. Which I do, because I am building my credit as stated in the beginning. When did it become a requirment that you can only have one active loan? If that is the case it needs to be stated on your website. The underwriters seen that as a "debt trap" in their words and denied my refinance. They also said I had "high interest loans which that is my business." I can see if I was in default on those other loans or my bank account was in negative standing but my spouse and I are paying those loans responsibly in a timely manner. I only wanted to refinance with Fig loans to extend the amount of time the loan is being reported on my credit report because it was only a 4 month term, and I didnt see much improvement in that short amount of time. I will be paying my last payment early so I will be done with Fig Loans. Overall I would give Fig Loans a 3 star from beginning to end just because of the misleading refinance process, 2nd bank verification and bad judgement! Swhite 😉

While this company is purported to be great for building credit, and helping those who don't qualify for a typical loan, I'm not sold on their services. Obtaining a loan was the easy part - simple process and money in my account quickly. My issue is with how long they wait to report to credit agencies. Not only has my loan been paid in full for over a month, it was also paid off within 30 days of the initial loan - 3 full months early. It is still being reported as open debt on my credit report, which is hurting my overall score by about 15 points; points that are crucial in my attempt to obtain a home loan. I have reached out to the company through their website 3 times and have not been contacted back. Just be wary - anything this easy is probably too good to be true. My financial adviser has told me that it can take up to 120 days for this to be removed, even though I have paid in full.
