Love this bank. Only complaint is they wouldn’t let me cash a check for my son, but he has turned 18 that month and that was the reasoning they gave. He was an adult now so it was a two party check at that point. Love my bank

Service was good, but they really need to turn down the music. Crazy music at that. Doesn't set well in a professional setting. I will be going to other locations from now. This is ridiculous. Lizzy was a great help and hard worker!

I love this bank and everyone at this branch is so nice and helpful. I want to show lots of love for Kayla Nelson she is so wonderful I will never go to any other bank she helped me so much when nobody else did thank you so much you have no idea how much I appreciate you. Also want to say thank you to Jace he is awesome to very helpful and nice thank you also you guys are great. :)

I was depositing money for my mom on 8/4/2021 I went through the drive through and Katie was very helpful and patient and kind. My mother is having health problems and I asked her how I could get on her account. She was very helpful and knowledgeable.would definitely recommend stopping and seeing Katie!

Our family LOVES Community Choice. We have done numerous types of transactions over years and they have been amazing to work with each time. From car loans, personal loans, opening kids accounts, "sister" banking, business options, they have come through time and time again. We have recommended Community Choice to many family and friends and will continue to do so in the future.

Community Choice is way behind the times. If you’re old as hell you’d like this bank. This bank doesn’t offer a tap feature on its debit card. Nor does it offer Apple Pay and is impossible to find on Venmo or CashApp. They gave me a $13,000 loan and have a copy of my ID but still have the wrong address on my account. However they offer great interest rates and financing through this bank is awesome. Has its ups and downs. Overall it’s alright I guess. Just outdated.

Great place to have an account. They've been more than friendly when ever I come to any of their locations. I've been with CCCU for over 15 years; purchased my house through them, have had multiple small loans through them, my son now has had multiple loans through them, and he's only 27yo. Always friendly, and always willing to spend the time to talk to me. For those of you who are complaining because they didn't return your call, get off your sofa, and go into one of their many locations, and talk face-to-face with them. They are community, not telemarketers, means get off your duff and go talk to them.

Called in regarding an account and the representative got me to someone that could help me immediately. Deb M. helped me today and was very efficient. I've been a member for many years and enjoyed the process growing with them. Highly recommend!

I've been with community choice for almost 4yrs and I enjoy being a member, with one exception. There is one rude lady on Lyon street that is just not friendly and acts like she does not enjoy her job. She is a teller, besides that one person everyone there is extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend to anyone. That one lady I just pray for her and try not ending up in her line. Hope this helps anyone deciding on whether or they would like to join this credit union.

I have been with Community Choice for several years. I have always received courteous, caring service. I am in the non-profit area for work. Thee are times that they probably should not have approved a loan for me but they did it. I have always tried to reward their faith in me by making sure my payments are on time or early. I won't even consider switching to anywhere else.

I have been (UN)Banking here since 2012. Like most financial institutions there have been some things that I have not been happy with; however, over all I have been very satisfied with my experience. Everyone has always been kind to me in persona and over the phone. Edit 10/2: I'm not impressed with the system changes that Community Choice has implemented. The new online system is confusing if you have any joint accounts as all accounts are mushed into one instead of separated like they used to be. Also their new CC system limits clients to only paying their CC once every 3 days. Really disappointed lately. I hope they make some more changes as I really do not want to move to a different financial institution.

I opened an account with them in febuary of 14. Julene from the Ankeny location helped through the process. When I was finished. I could have given her a hug! She was beyond helpful! I work close to the E Lyon street location. So I mainly use that one. I have dealt with two of the loan officers. Carlos and Sara. I have taken out two loans with them and was nothing but satisfied. They are nothing but friendly and kind. Also when I go in just to deposit money. I usually look for Karen Shannon or Gail but i have dealt with them all and I have yet to have one bad experience. Even when the line is out the door and they are swamped they still are as kind as possible! I have recommended many people to them. And I will continue. I've been to two banks and ill never switch from CCCU.

Staffs always great downtown. Been member 20 years. Many loans, savings account, checking one time I overdrafted took from savings only charged 5$. Latest data base changes not that customer friendly to navigat. I’m sure security issues biggest driver for changes

I have been with Community Choice Credit Union for about 2 years. I have ALWAYS been treated with kindness and respect. They do an excellent job at customer service and satisfaction. This is the first time since I moved to the Des Moines area 10 years ago that I feel "at home" with a credit union. My questions are always welcomed and answered. Because of my two jobs and where I live, I visit Altoona, Ankeny, West Des Moines and Downtown locations. THANK YOU!

We switched to CC from Affinity CU and I love it. Staff is always friendly and I never have issues. In the past when there is a mistake or something happened, the staff ALWAYS gets it fixed and is very accommodating.

Wow I love going in and visiting with Shannon the teller. Her qwerky banter keeps me coming back for more. So sad some people don't get her humor. I've waited in lines of people waiting for her just to talk with her. She brightens my day! When she's not there there are plenty if knowledgable people there to help me.
