We recently switched some of our business accounts to Pathways from anther larger bank because of their excellent service and rates. Since we switched, we've had no issues with any of our accounts and the staff made the process of switching seamless. His patience and willingness to walk me through the process was most helpful especially in establishing a HELOC while I worked with Laura Gates in refinancing of my 1st mortgage. Laura, although I didn’t meet with her in person, was also excellent. We spoke on the phone, texted, & emailed numerous times. She was also most helpful & took me through the process step by step. She monitored my progress with the refi- and constantly communicated with me. Yanira Ramirez, was very good in her follow up to ensure that I completed verifications which enabled me to close the Re-fi. When I moved to Ohio from North Carolina just over 8 years ago, I had to find another bank as the bank that I used in North Carolina did not have a branch in Columbus. As a result I developed a set of criteria to assist me in my search. The criteria were (1) friendly yet professional staff, (2) easy access to a branch, (3) good and easy to use online banking, (4) full range of services, (5) fast response to questions, requests, and concerns, and (6) a “home town bank”. As soon as I walked into the branch on Goodale Blvd., I knew that I had found my bank. It met all my criteria and I have never doubted that I made the correct decision. The staff are great and friendly and go out of their way to welcome you as a friend as you walk in the door. Pat Meyer, the branch manager, is readily available, and willing to work with you to find the best solution to any request or problem that may arise. I use the bank’s online system extensively. However, I need to confess that sometimes I just go to the branch to do a transaction that I normally do on line just so that I can be greeted by the friendly, smiling faces of the staff as I walk through the door. I count them as my friends.

I have never met Mitzi Ricardi in person but I have talked to her on the phone a couple times and she has been amazing! I am an older person who can barely navigate a computer or phone. Competitive rates, super-low fees, great products, and top-notch service! As an added bonus, NOBODY supports the local community better than PFCU. If I could give them six stars, I would for sure!!

This is the best Financial Institution in Central Ohio. They always offer fast and friendly service. Shout out to Mitzi and Kyle who always go above and beyond to help me and are always very friendly. The Goodale branch offers free coin counting with an account. They have a free shredding service for members. Also one of the best features is the swipe to save which rounds up your debit card purchases to the nearest dollar and puts the change in a savings account! Give them a try, only $5 to open a membership with them.

The best comparison I can think of for Pathways is the tv show Cheers. You are greeted with a smile and everyone knows your name. Literally the easiest banking I have ever done. You always get to speak with a person who will go above and beyond to help you. Beyond the normal checking/saving accounts I have refinanced my house and a loan for my car that even the car dealer told me to go with Pathways since he could not even come close to the low interest rate. It is also a great place for kids to open up their first account. They give that extra personal touch that the big banks cannot compete with.

Recently, I made several attempts to use my debit card to make a down payment on a beach house in N.C. Each time my card was declined. After 8 attempts with the same result, I was transferred to Margaret Miller who quickly figured out and resolved the problem. When Whitehall C.U. changed to Pathways Financial C.U., I was afraid I'd lose the personalized friendly service I was used to receive. I know I was wrong. When I wanted a car loan they couldn't have been more helpful. My latest experience with Margaret Miller again confirmed my confidence in being a valued customer of Pathways. Parthways Financial Credit Union and Pat Meyer are head and shoulders above any competitive bank or credit union out there, and it is all because their customer service is OUTSTANDING and they LISTEN. Pat has been handling our business accounts and our family’s personal accounts for years, and Pat goes way beyond what others have done in the past. Pat has provided us his own personal cell phone number, and when Pat is not working or on vacation, he is still working and available, as he will take my call any time and anywhere and make sure what needs done is done in a timely manner. Pat treats everyone of our accounts as if they are his personal accounts ... and that is pretty special. In addition to being available all the time, PFCU will listen to your needs and sometimes provide a product they maybe did not offer. I remember asking them if they have Health Savings Accounts, and when I made the request, they did not, but a week later, I signed up for a HSA. It’s because they listen to your needs and react to what you want that makes them so special. If you want a special banking relationship, try Pathways Financial Credit Union and ask for Pat Meyer ... you won’t be disappointed ... Pat is “The Best”!!!

Thank you Pathways for helping me understand and sign up for my health savings account. Once I learned how easy the process was I immediately got registered. You get a debit card to use for doctor visits, prescriptions, etc. making it nice that you can have a separate account for those types of expenses.
