i would like to say that this bank is better than good. i have been involved with banking institutions from a very early age through my family, and most of our financial transactions and endeavors have been on an international scale. i would have to admit that i was very skeptical of what Washington Federal was going to be able to offer......Simply put, its been better than imaginable. They are responsive, helpful, sincere and best of all, make you smile. i would not hesitate to encourage you to be at ease when saying that Washington Federal makes banking better. I love these guys!

This review is long overdue! Last year my husband, and I worked with Washington Federal Bank in order to obtain a Construction Loan. The rates were the best around, and we could not have been more pleased with our experience. We worked with Dale, and Tom who made the process as simple, and painless as possible. Dale, and Tom went above an beyond to help us navigate through the maze of paperwork. They were both so responsive, and literally bent over backwards to ensure everything ran smoothly, and timely. We can't thank you enough for holding our hands through it all, and helping us to achieve our dream home!

I have recently started banking with WAFB and I have to say, I am so glad I switched! They are extremely friendly and are more than willing to answer all of my questions and help me build my credit with minimal fee's compared to other banks. The downtown branch is my favorite! In fact, I will go out of my way to visit this branch as I know I will be taken care of like family.

Ignore the negative reviews. Yes WAFD bought The Idaho branches of Bank of America (BofA) and they have a few different types of accounts and policies. There is one killer account though and that's the green account. Lots of benefits but the benefit I use the most is the free credit monitoring. Everytime there is activity with my credit I get an alert. Those months that nothing happens I get a month report from WAFD stating no activity. Gives me peace of mind. Good bankers who are willing to help you meet your banking needs.

If you need a banker, oh boy, they have them here. And not only are the bankers there, but they are incredibly helpful and kind. Take that money out from your mattress and put it in a safe with these guys. They like that sort of thing. They are bankers.
