LOVED IT. My family’s a big fan of this place and we just discovered it! The cakes are so aesthetically ✨pleasing✨ and It was so yummy. The only downside is that it has a lot of cream/icing. Personally, it didn’t matter to me because of how tasty the cake was.

I always get my cakes from this location. They are fresh and delicious. The guava and tres leches mix is my favorite. They are able to customize beautiful cakes for you within 20 mins. Very creative and tasteful.

Ordered my cake last minute because my other person had fell through. I found them via google and I'm happy I did, the cake was good, I had a different flavor in every tier and it came out exactly how I wanted it. They are pretty expensive but it was worth it.

Better customer service this time around but at a cost. Seems of you add just 1 decoration n lettering they charge you $30. Didn't expect the same cake they serve from the display but there it was dressed up for a $30 markup....smh. Not worth the money. Cakes are good but not as good as other bakeries that are cheaper or just as expensive. Looked good though.

This is my favorite bakery in NY. The tres leche and flan are always my go to when I am craving sweets. My cousin recently got the rugelach and it was really good too. I particularly like the chocolate one. They always are friendly too!

The cakes from here taste really good but they’re extremely overpriced and they don’t follow how you want your cake. I got a 1/2 pound cake with 1 sparkling candle and I spent $145. Compared to other bakeries near by, I’ve never paid more than $80-$120. I showed a picture on how I wanted the cake and they didn’t do it like the picture or even similar. It literally looked like they printed a picture of mickey mouse and glued it on to the cake. Not very happy, if I’m going to be charged $145, I should atleast get the cake the way I asked for it.

I have always liked Sugarboy bakery. Especially their cupcakes. I ordered cupcakes for my babyshower and for daughter's birthday each year. Cupcakes are usually $2 each. Usually I just get a dozen or 2, sing happy birthday and let each kid have cupcake. This year, I asked for a cupcake arrangement in the shape of the #4 with rainbow colored frosting on top. They explained because of the baking technique and arrangement it would cost $75. As you can see in the picture, I don't think it was worth $75, since it was only about 15 cupcakes. Still giving 4 stars because this bakery does make good cupcakes and desserts. I can't take that from them and don't wish to deter anyone from going there. Their stuff is good! However I have learned my lesson. Next time, I will order my dozen or 2 and will arrange the cupcakes myself.

They did a custom princess cake for my 30th birthday and it was a hit. I was in love with it!!! So beautiful, I'm going back just to order another cake with them because I know they are going to put their all into my cake. You need bakeries that shows they enjoy designing cakes like this particular bakery. They make delicious cakes with amazing designs. A big shout out to Stephanie for the creative design on my specially designed slice of cake (I only wanted a slice and she jazzed it up). I would come back again just based on the customer service but their cake was also AWESOME!!

Love that I can come in and they have fresh pre made cupcakes and cakes to choose from. The staff is always very friendly and courteous. The cakes are absolutely beautiful and they will do anything you ask them for. Bring in a design and they will have it made. Just be ready to pay. But you get what you pay for. They also have a second location a couple of blocks away from this one on Broadway.

I ordered a cake here in May for my daughter's birthday party!! Success!! The cake was great. Looked great, tasted great and the service there was awesome. I was indecisive on what to order. The young lady took her time and make great recommendations. The cake was even done early! Thank You so much for making my daughter smile on her birthday. When I opened the cake box and she saw Shopkins Season 5 on her cake, her face was priceless! Who can ask for anything more?

When I went in, the younger lady clerk was almost not helpful at all and hateful although she apologized and said she was uncomfortable with something she was cleaning off her hands, that wasn’t enough for me the customer to get the negative energy! Any how the older lady (not old lol just older than the other one) who appeared to be the owner came to the front and as soon as she opened her mouth I was relieved to have met her and get her undivided attention! She was EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND AWESOME!!! and they make any type of modern cakes!!! Once again thank you very much for helping us figure out with in the budget what cake to buy!!! I recently purchased a custom tuxedo cake from this bakery. They were able to make the cake within 24 hours !! Stephanie was very professional and accommodating in such short notice. I ordered a vanilla bean cake with pineapple and coconut. Everyone thought the cake was delicious!!

I have been coming here for the last two years. Their bday cakes are a class apart. Plus they are always accommodating of any personalized request, even if it's last minute. Only downside: parking on the street, which, if you are familiar with the area, is a unicorn wrapped in chocolate. Helpful tip: bring someone along and double park for ease of access.

Fast food pastries and cakes. Clean place. Smells like a bakery. Fast attentive staff. Scale 1 to 5 it's a strong 3 as far as quality. Not bad for the cost. Con: no parking. Someone has to sit in the car and chance a double parking ticket.

If you are looking for a unique cake whose display will steal the show - this is where you need to go! Establishments like this are a very hard find In The Bronx so go check it out. This is An amazing bakery. Family oriented and the cakes are a master piece. My daughter is 7 years old and they have seen her grow. This little girl knows the differences from their flan and any other bakery, she won't have it unless is from Sugar Boy. Great bakery! Only one near me that was open till 9pm and Thank you for that! I am usually very busy and I needed to get my mom a cake for her birthday. Last minute and they already had pre made cakes that looked amazing. Got a “tres leches” cake and it was delicious! Definitely recommend this place. Super friendly staff also. I found this place nearby on my gps and read good reviews so I gave it a try... it was a beautiful Sunday morning and it was busy. I was there for about 45 mins. Only one person was working the front counter. Ughh. I got the delight to see a cake that was purchased and it was very pretty similar to the ones on TV - white with pearlssss. I decided to purchase a small red velvet -already made- it cost $25! A size up would've been $45! (Too pricey, in my opinion) anyways the cake was delisiousssss, moist, the cream was the right amount of sweet, and fresh. I will recommend this place for those willing to pay a little more, for professional looking cakes.

Stephanie was amazing, me and my wife spent the whole night looking for Dominican cake in Yonkers which, for some reason, doesn't exist. So we made our way over to SugarBoy on Bailey Ave in the bronx and met Stephanie, they were closing up but Stephanie went and made us a custom cake that was delicious and beautiful as well just to satisfy us! I couldnt recommended SugarBoy and there team, especially Stephanie, enough! Great Job! And if the manager should read this review, give Stephanie a raise, it's well deserved!
