I love Connie’s! However I noticed that it doesn’t always come out the same, not sure if that’s based on different cooks or what…for the most part the chicken is flavorful and juicy. I feel like they usually do a good job at cutting the tenders and I don’t get a lot of rib meat or cartilage often but often enough that I stopped going here as much as I would like to. The waffles are always good!

The chicken and waffles were great at the Downtown Wilmington location!! The waffles were fluffy and the chicken was fried just right! The shrimp platter was also great, the Peach iced tea was awesome!! The staff was very friendly and courteous! Order placed online, all was ready when we arrived. Great experience!!!

The waffles are good and the chicken is good. Whether or not you like them together is up to you, but you get a good sized portion of each for your money. Good luck trying to eat it all! Would recommend for those who want to try this combo or already enjoy it :) Also note: this place is inside a food court and I think all the restaurants in it take card only, including this one. Not a bad thing, just a heads up!

I was driving from New York to Maryland. My wife and I were hungry and decided to make a stop in Wilmington. We decided to give Connie's Chicken and Waffles a try. The customer service was awesome. The young men working were very helpful in explaining the menu options. The chicken and waffles were amazing!! I had the cookies and cream waffles and my wife had the red velvet waffles. We will definitely come back again.

Wish I knew about this place sooner … it’s our family’s new go to breakfast spot. Portions are good size - the online web ordering is super user friendly as well as makes it super easy to do take out. Used to be a Waffle House person, I can tell you Connie’s Chicken & Waffles changed that forever!

All of the waffles are delicious, the chicken is well-seasoned that pouring the syrup on it or adding any toppings feels like a bonus. Thank you!!!!!! You guys came through on same day notice! Today was the Navy Commencement Cermony at The Daniel Stadium & Port of Wilmington. We needed a very large order for lunch for the drivers transporting our Navy Men and Women! A total of about 20 orders. We put the order in at 11:15 am and it was ready by 11:45 am. Impressive! We called to follow up a minute after placing the order just to be safe and the gentleman was very polite in letting us know the order was being worked on and it was recieved through their online booking order site. Everything was packaged together in categories which made it easier to distribute out the food to each driver. Definitely a great experience on short notice! The food was hot and everyone enjoyed their meal.

This place is stellar! The chicken is perfectly prepped and cooked and exactly what you want to make a dynamic duo with these waffles. The red velvet waffle was a masterpiece, not too heavy and not overly sweet; just a great blend of flavors. The cherry on top though brings me all the way back to the servers at the front who are just absolute gems!

Changing my review because I could tell it was just an off night. It happens. So I'll post a review about my first time ordering. Chicken was good but the oreo waffle was outstanding. So much flavor I didn't even need the syrup. Also had a buttermilk waffle that was really good as well, fluffy and filling. Again, the chicken was in line with the tenders at most places but still pretty juicy and tasty. They have really good BBQ sauce too, I would recommend getting that on the side if you're eating the chicken separate from the waffle. I'll be back.

I was recently in Deco ( Wilmington) for the first time on my lunch break. I dined in at Connie's Chkn & Waffle. I must say that the cook, by the name James did a EXCELLENT job with cooking & preparing my food! Everything was fresh & delicious♡( even the juice) My chicken was cooked perfect. James made it just the way I asked. fried hard but just right! my Waffle was delicious & the juice was incredible 😋 James was extremely polite and professional. I will definitely recommend Connie's to ALL my friends, family & co-workers. Just an fyi: ask for James to cook your meal 😋 ( you will not be disappointed)

The chicken is hot, juicy, and tender. The waffles are huge, fluffy, and delicious. There are a nice choice of toppings and the Service is quick and courteous. I wish we had the restaurant in my state. Then again, if there was one I would gain a bunch of weight! Highly recommend.

The service was speedy and friendly. I took my family out to enjoy lunch and the food along with the relaxed vibe certainly exceeded my expectations. The chicken and shrimp is seasoned well. The young lady and gentlemen that worked when I visited, Jun 21 around 4pm, where extremely kind, patient and knowledgeable. My husband and I had no clue what to try for our first visit but the two went above and beyond describing and making recommendations. We ended up trying a bit of everything they recommended and we weren't disappointed. Their service was also very prompt. The only disappointment was that I forgot to get their names. I hope somehow they're recognized for going above and beyond.

Ordered 2 times with Door dash yesterday and today. Yesterday the chicken had no taste today its so over seasoned its barely edible. The no season to over season says there's no precise recipe that's followed and you'll never get the same flavor twice and t will vary each experience. The chicken should never charge and have a recipe that's followed to ensure the flavor never differs and is the vf samefor v every piece and every visit. I also got charged for 2 addons of fruit I never recieved and 1 syrup for 2 ordered. My crunchy berry waffle wasn't cooked properly I expected a slightly v toasted waffle texture not one seemed half cooked and zero flavor. It took 45 min to get my order placed with dash. Their agents are impatient it took 5 tries to get one to be patient and allow me to speak before ending the chat. My order was 10 min late. Left in the hall. If I hadn't had good experiences from my son bringing home very pleasurable food I'd give No stars. 3 is for those experiences when I craved your food. These last 2 took that craving and flushed it giving me no reason to want the foods I had in the past months. . Editing myb review I've enjoyed most of the time

I was in the city and stopped by DECO because I kept hearing about it. I came across Connie's chicken and waffles... I have been hooked ever since. The food is AMAZING. They food is flavorful but not overbearing. They have a peach tea lemonade that is addicting. I have been there 5 times in the past two weeks. Everyone needs to go to Connies.

It's a basic waffle and tenders. It's not worth 10 bucks in my opinion. The order didn't take long to make. Some employees speak and others do not. Always address your customer because that will make or break a return visit.

Since day one Aniyah & Khalil were so welcoming, informative, polite, & prompt! They even gave me there recommendations (which are now my favorites! There is a Taller Darkskin guy who too. The food is delicious! It's definitely the most I've ever paid for chicken and waffles, but I would do it again. I ordered online. When I went to pick up my food, there was no parking available. I circled the block a few times to no avail. I called and explained it was my 1st time ordering and my toddler had fallen asleep in the car. The person on the phone said I should put my hazards on and double park on the street. I asked if they had anyone to bring it to the door, and they said no. I left and asked mom to pick it up for me. They were cordial on the phone, and their food is great. I feel like it would help if they could accommodate meeting someone at the door since they are aware of the parking situation, especially for the price of the food. Overall, I'd still recommend it!
