Loved the variety of donut flavors to choose from! I had the berry streusel and the samoa donuts, and they were both delicious. Not only are the donuts great, the coffee is even better. I had a macchiato and tried my husband’s latte - they make them just right, nice and strong. The place itself has a quirky and fun vibe. I’d stop here again.

The Donut Whole offers an array gluten free donuts (many of which we bought and are pictured below) every Sunday, which was our biggest draw — as we were accommodating team members with specific dietary needs. They met our needs perfectly, tasted wonderful, and the service was great to boot, as the barista on duty anticipated my needs by taking my coffee order while we were still in line. Given that I had somewhere to be, this was exactly the kind of thing to win me over on the 5-star rating. Great work, and I hope to see this place again!

This was my first time in several years to stop by the Donut Hole. I ordered only one Maple Bacon donut. The donut was small compared to most shops. It was quite dry, frosted very minimally and had maybe a teaspoon of bacon bits. I felt the price of more than $2 ($2.61 w/tax) was too much for such a small donut. Maybe it was good if thinking of a diet.

AMAZING gluten free donuts! I hadn’t had a donut in two years and kept missing their Tuesday/sundays. Well now they have them all the time and I may have been better off not knowing that haha! They’re wonderful! Always friendly staff and great atmosphere.

The Donut Whole is a Wichita staple. A quirky, fun place that makes Wichita so cool. Local artists are featured on the walls as well as vintage and retro art and decor. The donuts are unique and tasty. The espresso drinks are excellent and the drip coffee is fine as well. Usually a few people there, during peak hours you may struggle to find a seat as it's a small place, but the coffee and donuts travel well. My kids love donuts, so this is a family favorite.

What a fun little shop and freindly people. Had the cream cheese and Graham cracker topping and the maple bacon doughnut. I will agree with another review that they are small but very filling and the yave great flavor.. Definitely worth a try.

If you go in the door on the Douglas St side it is an adventure walk to get to the treasure that is donuts. If you enter from the parking lot side it's inviting and you walk immediately into the treasure mine that is donuts. These donuts are spectacular. No big production or flashing red lights or much in the way of marketing. You are simply presented with what you came for: donuts. I don't live far from the shop and there is little that prevents me from a daily visit except they are a little pricey (I believe). These donuts are on a different level than most you will find elsewhere. If you have ever had donuts in Round Rock, TX and are hankering for the same experience in Wichita go here.

Went here after getting pizza a few doors down and loved the place! It has a very unique atmosphere and vibe which I loved. The employee was also awesome! They had great conversations with us while making our drinks and they were haha be off genuinely positive vibes. I had a strawberry smoothie with almond milk and it was by far the best smoothie I have ever had! The donuts were great too!

I love going and getting their donuts. one of the best donuts around. I love they have vegan and gluten free donuts. This is the only place I have come across gluten and free and vegan donuts. I wish they had a few that were both. I am dairy and gluten intolerant and feel I cannot focus on one or the other at times. I always get disappointed with the coffee. They never give me enough milk or make my coffee super strong. My daughter loves the donuts but finds the hallway creepy. I always wish they had more seating and that the tables were cleaned more often.

I love the Donut Whole and super appreciate the option of GF donuts, I only wish I could get them every day. But I make a point of going every Tuesday to get some naked GF donuts and coffee for dipping. Enjoying them right now. The BEST service. Get this! I walked to the DW last Tuesday when my car was in the shop. It was frigid sub freezing temps and they took pity on me and insisted on driving me back to work. They just would not let me walk back in that cold <3 Talk about above and beyond service! WOW! I think Angie would be pleased with the new owners and how kind they are. I'm really happy the DW was inherited by such nice people who stuck to her vision <3 The donuts are delicious as ever!

It's overpriced for a donut shop. Spent 22$ on boba & a dozen. It was my first time there, and honestly was disappointed. The donuts weren't "wow" in appearance nor taste. The one behind the counter had a bit of a "spicy" attitude, but overall was friendly. It was a disappointing experience. You're paying for the location of the shop... I'll probably continue purchasing my donuts at Hurts.

I am in town for a Celebration of Life, woke up early, and thought I'd grab doughnuts for everyone. This place was a little further away than a few, but the great reviews made me want to give it a try. And I am SO glad I did. They only serve cake doughnuts, but, they have so many varieties. Not only were the doughnuts delicious, but they were a hit with everyone. And the service was impeccable! Made for a great start to our day. I highly recommend checking them out, if you haven't already. And if you have already been here, aren't you due for another visit?!

Donuts and coffee were great. (My kids loved their Homer donuts with all the sprinkles). The decor was very eclectic which was awesome and the staff was also very friendly and helpful. Only reasons for 4 stars (a good rating) vs 5 were two small things. Old carpet in backroom had a slight odor, nothing horrible and most wouldn't probably even notice it, but it really bugs me in a food establishment. (Not sure why it was ever a popular to do that in a restaurant). I also kind of wished the donuts were easier to see. When I was there they were behind the counter with only small postits as labels. It sounds like new owners may have already addressed both of these issues though and I look forward to visiting again.

Donut Hole made an amazing batch of birthday donuts for us. We vaguely asked for half red, half white donuts for pokeballs at a Pokemon party. And we picked up adorable, full-on pokeballs complete with black line and center circle details. We were very impressed and they were delicious too! Thank you, Donut Hole!

Best doughnuts in Wichita. Homemade buttermilk doughnuts with a selection of inventive toppings. Excellent MAPLE BACON ON BUTTERMILK! Be sure to try the chocolate chocolate with chocolate cereal crunch to satisfy the chocoholic in your group. Also really good coffee made to order.

Great cake donuts and unique shop. Two down sides though: the staff didn't seem very interested in us as customers (they were distracted with their own conversation) and their bubble tea is nothing special. I do recommend the Donut Hole as a unique coffee shop with great donuts!

Delicious and creative donuts! They also have a wide variety of gluten free donuts! They are also very good at making sure that cross contamination is a non issue. Friendly staff as well! I had a small mocha which was very rich with a pleasant aroma and a chocolate donut. Needless to say I was bouncing off the walls but it was so worth it!

While we’ve never been in the shop we do go through the drive through a lot! The staff always does a great job picking a random selection of the tastiest donuts. The bacon donuts are weird but honestly I don’t think we’ve ever had a bad donut there. We always recommend this to friends and family when they pass through the ICT.

These cake-style doughnuts feel very decadent to eat! It's not like eating air, the way you feel with some doughnuts. These doughnuts feel homemade, not mass produced. I recommend the triple berry flavor. And if you don't want to go inside, they have a drive through around back.

Was worried things would not be as good after the ownership change, but they have managed to keep what made the DH so good and add to it. I've been impressed with how fast they are at the order counter now and I love seeing the donuts in the display case where it's easy to pick what you want. Coffee is great too! Highly recommend. This is a staple of Wichita and the new ownership is honoring it.

They have delicious Gluten Free donuts on Tuesdays. Go early for variety. I went after 5 and they only had one flavor left. The flavor I tried is called Old School. It's dusted in cinnamon sugar. These are way better than the Gluten free frozen kind I've been buying from the grocery store. I ended up eating two while driving home. The donuts were moist and a perfect chewy texture. There are beautiful air pockets creating a light, not too dense cake donut. You wouldn't know they were gluten free. What I like most is a slight hint of coffee bean when you first taste the donut. I'm not sure if that flavor was intentional or if the donuts took on that flavor because of coffee being brewed -either way it's tasty. I'm definitely going back early the next Tuesday.

There's a great atmosphere at the Donut Whole, and the wide variety of donuts like maple bacon includes something that will please everyone. These are cake donuts that are dense and have very rich flavor. They're a real hit when we bring them to the office or to parties.

Been loving this place for over 6 years... Wish there were open 24 hours like they used to be :( or at least later then 3pm... It's not a fancy atmosphere but it's fun and unique and the donuts first thing in the morning are so yummy...I prefer cake over fried anyway. The staff are usually always very nice also!! If you're worried about "stale" donuts in the afternoon come early or call your order ahead!!

Definitely the go to donut shop! If you haven't been here, you gotta go! There is a flavor for every pallet here. Nothing plain Jane here unless you want it that way. I prefer the citrus glazes and absolutely love the lavender and tarot glazes! They have musicians regularly, and show art too. Good selection of coffee type beverages. Clean restrooms. Eclectic decor and atmosphere.

Very neat place! The Boba tea was yummy, we got the raspberry flavor. My kiddos liked the donuts. Very cute decorations. The reason why a 4 star review over a 5 star is because the place seemed a bit busy and messy with their decor theme. But a very relaxed atmosphere.

Good place for live music, talks, and other varied public entertainment. Schedules for upcoming events are posted. Close to downtown & several other great locations in town. Group setting, but be ready to talk loudly and listen closely at times; it can get quite loud periodically. The donuts are really good, as is the selection. If don't like one, try another- they are inexpensive enough try several until you find your favorites.

The new ownership is fantastic these people really care about the community they want to continue to offer something to the loyal patrons that have been going to the Donut Whole for years! There are a lot of fantastic plans in store for this place. Including a total cleanup and remodel, extended menu in both the donut category as well as beverage and even hot food! Quirky, fun, creative, and most importantly delicious. The Donut Whole is a one of a kind experience unique to Wichita. Their famous cake donuts are my favorite in Wichita - not to mention the most unique. And their coffee is the best in town (eat your heart out, Starbucks). New management has made some important changes to the Donut Whole experience, most importantly to the freshness of the donuts.

It’s the first really fun, different, cute thing that we got and it helped build a community and watched Wichita grow into a pretty cool little town. I only gave four stars because my experience with a donut shop open 24 hours is that they have a large selection for all of those hours. The Donut Whole's selection was very very limited around 11 PM. That being said, the donuts I had there were each very unique and all had good flavor. I've seen other reviews of people saying they are dry. I will they say they are not the the most moist donuts I have had but they do not qualify as dry in my book.

They had some of the best doughnuts I have ever had. The cherry cheesecake and cinnamon strussel was really good. Coffee was great too. They have quite a few lattes. My friends had the breakfast sandwiches which they said were excellent.

Well I live just a short walk away so I love taking my daughter there.we always have a blast picking from the wide selection of delicious donuts. And quite a few times we've went , they had live bands playing shows, all the way from jazz to metal to piano to rock, and I could keep going. Great place in Wichita!

For cake donuts in Wichita, the Donut Whole is the place. Located in the heart of the Douglas Design District, this eclectically adorned shop offers not just amazing sweets, but also delicious espresso drinks. The Cinnamon Whole donut with a hazelnut latte is my favorite combo. On Friday and Saturday nights you can usually count on a local band performing in their small stage. You haven’t really experienced the culture of Wichita until you’ve been to this place.

Quirky and fun donuts, fresh coffee flavors, hometown entertainment.The first thing you will notice is the wonderful atmosphere of college students doing homework in a booth, an older couple or two enjoying the night on the town, or business man grabbing a quick cup of good coffee. What stands out at the Donut Whole is the donuts, obviously. They are quick and creative masterpieces and sometimes disasters, but that's the fun with this venue. Also, there will most likely be live entertainment during the later part of the day. Some good, some bad, but that's the music for you.

The donuts are made fresh in house and are delicious! I had a penut butter cup donut and the frosting had a great penut butter flavor. The chocolate cake donut was perfect! Even better was the pumpkin pie latte. It was the right amout of sweet and tasted strongly of pumpkin pie. The foam on top was creamy and delicious. The staff was friendly and fun! It is also local! I will be visiting again soon!

These people really give a damn about donuts. Different kinds of toppings adorn multiple styles of donuts made from different ingredients. Today was buttermilk donuts day. Over 20 different kinds of topped donuts, with interesting and inventive names. I really liked the mint chocolate that I got and my kids loved the snakes on a plane. They also had an entire gluten free section, which my tummy did appreciate. The guy behind the counter was very patient and friendly to the family before and after me, and even changed his gloves to not infect the gluten free section. I'll not go anywhere else in Wichita for donuts. Small addition. I asked if they were ok with me getting a donut and milk for the homeless man outside. The guy at the desk said not to worry, he usually gives the homeless locals donuts. He didn't even let me pay for this one.

Donuts are great (if you love cake donuts). Lots of variety you don't find elsewhere. Service is always so-so to apathetic. Went back today after not being there in about a year and same as before. Booths and floor were dirty.

Asked for three chocolate donuts and recieved one choc. Donut and two of different kinds. The place was swamped. Hire more help or lose business. $$$ Waited over 20 minutes just to get poor service.

I ordered a dozen donuts that I felt were extremely overpriced at 9 bucks for half a dozen. The donuts were a little dried out, some were moist, but I felt they were merely 'ok' in flavor. The idea of them being made with good ingredients is nice and all, but I can't understand why each doughnut costs so much money. They DO have a good variety of flavors, but I wasn't entranced by the flies buzzing around the open trays of food either.

Came here for some donuts. Was not disappointed. Everything seemed based off their standard cake donut with about 30 different options of frosting and toppings. I got a blueberry donut that was fantastic, and another donut that looked like a clown with buttercream frosting and a gumball in the center to simulate a nose. The Donut Whole is probably one of the coolest places in town to hang out... and eat donuts. Besides having a huge chicken on top of the building (that in itself is plenty a reason to be dubbed "the coolest hangout"), they have the most fantastic buttermilk donuts in the world. The selection is huge and delicious: the famous Maple Bacon, Old School, Homer J or the Sunshine Citrus Crunch... they are all fantastic and you can't go wrong with any of their flavors. They also carry unique pop that is made with real sugar (they even have the large glass bottled Coke made with real sugar), as well as kick ass, local coffee and tea (you gotta try the boba tea). If they couldn't get any cooler, they have bands mulitiple times a week jam and local artists display their works. Pretty neat stuff. Also, if this hasn't convinced you to check them out, at least come in and look at their bathroom. It's pretty trippy.

I tried others flavors and the worst one for me is everything with orange on the glaze. Btw the birthday cake doughnut is vegan, but not the color sparklings on it.
