Oh wow, this place is a gem! Their employees are sweet as can be, kindly explaining anything that I had questions about. You can’t go wrong with their Chantilly cake or Yule logs. They also have hot cross buns around Easter time, and other seasonal offerings close to other holidays. They’ve got a great selection of lunch items also, if you need to balance out the sweetness. Pastries were perfect and tasted great. Just a quick stop for coffee. Fun to sit by the window. Can’t wait for spring to sit outside. They offer wide variety of French bakery items, quiches, sandwiches desserts. I wish they had specialty coffees espresso maybe French coffee.

Desserts and other baked goods were light and had perfect amount of sweetness! Amazing bakery to go to in Wichita. Sometimes the staff gets overwhelmed with tons of orders and service will slow down a bit on weekends. But they're still nice and give you the same great tasting bakery items.

Not a lot of places like this one. The food is absolutely amazing. The flavors in some of their soups is absolutely breathtaking. The staff are efficiently and friendly. The bakery and the kitchen both are delicious. Their tres leches cake is amazing for birthday parties. Overall anything I have tried at this place I have not been disappointed.

I have been enjoying the French pastries and Med food at Bagatelle for over 40 years. Their bierocks are amazing as well. The pastries are FRESH and flaky every day, and reasonably priced. The cream cakes are decadent and delicious. And you can get smaller versions if you just want a bite. If I had one wish, it would be for good coffee.

I discovered this place a couple months ago, but only realized you could grab a meal there a couple weeks ago. Went on Tuesday with hubby and daughter. Bake goods are too top notch. But so are the "lunch counter" items. We will be back soon.

Bought my wedding cake from them and always got told Wedding cakes taste horrible after a year in the freezer. The cake still tasted basically the exact same from our wedding after a yr on a paper plate with plastic wrap put on it and chucked in the freezer

Super cute little place, I had lunch there and really enjoyed my meal! I went with the ham and cheese on croissant with lettuce and tomato and picked the salad as my side with a fountain drink. The croissant was amazing so fresh and tasty!

FRIENDLY, helpful and very relaxed vibe. The cakes looked delish! We didn't buy a cake because we didn't want to share with the kids. LOl Had some lunch, some pastries, and a small baguette. I've eaten here before but it was many years ago. The food and pastries are still very good. The staff was helpful and the place was clean. We stopped by when we had to take a trip to the east side. Special order chocolate mousse mice... ohh an all time favorite and sooooo cute:-). Took a couple days 2 make and easy 2 order and pickup. This is the nicest bakery in town. You wont be disappointed. Their quiche is fabulous also.

Just ate my best bierrock ever! The seasoned beef with its shredded ingredients (cabbage, cheese, and onion?) had a delicious flavor that seemed to melt in my mouth. The oven-baked bread was thin and complemented the meat mixture. I always enjoy the meals served at Bagatelle. Their menu variety makes it a great place to meet up with friends.

I really enjoyed joining some friends for brunch here, the other day. It is a quiet place and the prices are pretty reasonable. They had a Talapia meal that was only $7.50 and it came with a a large side. The sandwiches were inexpensive and I had a geek salad that was only around $6.50. They had a nice dining area that was really clean. Their baked goods looked amazing, I didn’t try any, my friends did and they said they were great. They had baklava and a large variety of others. The baked bread, they had for sale-smelled delicious. I would highly recommend this bakery/restaurant!

I get a loaf of Sourdough bread from them every once in a while. The bread is so soft and has an irresistible and unique taste. I think it's safe to say that Bagatelle has the best bread in town! Their cakes are also really delicious and not to mention the cafe items. I'm so glad I found this place.

On a mini road trip and stopped to pick up a birthday cake. Tried a hazelnut, a mocha, and picked up a fruit tarte. Not only is the food delicious and fair-priced, but the customer service is outstanding. I will remember Bagatelle Bakery the next time I drive through!

I really wanted to step outside of my norms, and I decided to stop here! I ordered a build your own hot sandwich with Sourdough bread, ham, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and mayonnaise & side salad. It was wonderful! I glimpsed over the desserts and how they were crafted with so much love you can tell. Authentic, genuine art. I also decided to try the Tiramisu out of several options, and wow! So good. 10/10 recommended!

This was my boyfriend and I’s first valentine and Whitney was the one who answered the phone. She was so professional and helpful. She recommended the chocolate covered strawberries with white chocolate drizzle for us and they were absolutely amazing. They were so fresh and tasted incredible. They came in a box with a beautifully wrapped red bow for our special day and we couldn’t be happier. Will absolutely recommend to all of our friends. Whitney definitely deserves a raise for her professionalism and attention to detail.

What a fantastic bakery! Bread, desserts, cookies, croissants, etc. Varieties are many, some seasonal, some always. Every item baked here is delicious and filled with the love of baking. The staff is outstanding! So friendly and knowledgeable..my first time in the bakery itself..I could have stayed for hours eating myself through everything. I look forward to doing just that at some juncture.

Cakes and baked goods are delicious but the service has been terrible the last few times I’ve been in. Unorganized and staff never seem to know who is next in line. They see me standing there but will help the person that walked in after me, first. One time I was waiting to pay and there was a man that had been waiting for a long time after me but staff decided to help people that walked in 5 mins after him first. I spoke up and let them know that he had been waiting before them. Employees need better training.

BEST bakery in Wichita! I always get their cakes for events and they're consistently delicious, beautiful, amazing cakes. They have baked bread and other sweets as well, and a menu for lunch/dine-in. Staff is always extremely kind and helpful. Get the chantilly cake - it's to die for.

My sister just got married, and we used some Bagatelle sheet cakes to feed those who weren't allergic to gluten. We tried two strawberry full sheets and had them cut for us. We were able to feed around 200 people for a little over 200 dollars with plenty of sought-after left overs! They delivered the cakes to us, and everyone that tried it loved it!

I remember Bagatelle bakery from way back in the day when they were at 13th and Oliver. It was good then and is good now. Today I had beef stroganoff with soup and it was very tasty. They have the very best Tiramisu.

Dear Wichitans, you've day failed me yet again! I lived less than a mile from Bagatelle and didn't know the place existed. As a novice, walking in was a little overwhelming as we weren't quite sure how the ordering works. However, the menu was fairly simple, so I managed to get the job done. Our family if six tried sandwiches on croissants, beirocks, and shwarma. My daughter discovered tabuoli (thanks to me) and is hooked on the fresh light flavors she enjoyed. The staff was friendly and so helpful even though it was apparent they were hustling through the busiest part of the day. After I couldn't possibly eat anymore, I went in to grab some pastry to take home. I went a bit overboard and bought pretty much everything they make! First off, $20! That's all I spent on a ridiculous number of desserts! Secondly, Yevette was so helpful telling me what to choose and I appreciated her warmth! I have yet to try any of the baked items, but based on their aroma and presentation, I won't be disappointed. Thank you for ruining Panera for me, I'll be leaving a larger carbon footprint as I drive across town far too often!

I drive 100 miles once a month to just buy 6-8 loaves of their breads. 0f course when you're there you have to eat lunch. Their menu is not large but everything they have is made fresh and by scratch and is absolutely superbly delicious. You can special order cakes and all kinds of fancy delicious delectables! Or you can buy them right there..It is a 10 star on food breads and desserts.

Best purchasing experience so far in our 3 day stay in Wichita. So kind and accommodating for our need for a last minute graduation cake. We ended up with a strawberry cake that was delicious, and very nicely decorated fir our graduate.

My husband and I ordered a cake here for our 1 year anniversary and it wasn’t what we expected but the manager Eva was very generous and understanding and had impeccable customer service. It is for this reason that we look forward to giving them another try in the future. Beware though I would not recommend the white butter cream cake.

Very delicious and friendly people. They have Lebanese and American breakfast. Many types of bakerys. You need to check what type of desserts that does have alcohol if you interesting in this. We tried the qeesh with broccoli mashroom, manakeesh, desserts. All are delicious. The only thing that I hope they pay more attention to it the hot water to make a tea because I'm not a coffee person. It has coffee, hot coco, vanilla, ice tea. It was clean, fresh , and delicious. Unfortunately they don't have branches in another place.

I was not real impressed, two people were arguing loudly, it was the owner or manager and a young girl that was in charge there. I am under the impression they were mother and daughter. The food took longer than I expected and was pricey.

Good service, delicious food and clean. We ate qeesh of broccoli, mushroom, with side. Manaqeesh, and desserts. Some desserts have alcohol just make sure before you buy. It has many kind of breads and baker. It's mixed between Lebanese and American breakfasts. It has coffee and pops.

We have lunch here two or three times a month. The food is always delicious and the breads, pastries and cakes are incredible. Quiche, empanadas, fish, beef stew over a beautifully cooked rice, ruebens, hummus and crispy pita, tabouli that is outstanding....just go!!! We are into August now and had a cold strawberry napoleon...lightly sweet and just right!

Best place ever!! I had my wedding cake made there. We went to check it out. She gave us multiple deserts to taste then sent the left overs home with us. Her prices are very reasonable. She reimbursed me $20 cause she couldn’t make my cake a rose color. She also allows you to bring deserts from other sources to your wedding where as other places won’t allow that. What really made me write this review was on my first anniversary we went in to buy a piece of cake and she gave us a whole cake to enjoy. Wow awesome customer service. You won’t go wrong with bagetelle bakery.,

Good customer service. The salmon patty was very good. The potato/leek soup tasted great. The roll i ate was So good. The salad would be better without the salad dressing and pita chips. The cafe is very clean and the prices are very reasonable. I will return to try other offerings.☺

Bagatelle has great food and excellent patisseries, all at good prices. Bagatelle made our wedding cake earlier this year and everything went as expected and the taste of the cake was phenomenal. Tasted way better than the other local bakeries we tried. While eating lunch in their dining area last week the owner brought out loaves of sweet breads and gave each table a loaf. Just a great local bakery. It truly is a hidden Wichita gem and I'm so glad I found it.

Bakeries are good but the place is so unreliable. You can make an order and they cancel it without notice. You can't depend on them.

The cake and pastries are very good. They are very busy so of course you won't get excellent customer service. If your not stuck up and all about customer service than this place is just fine. I walked in, was not immediately serviced but that was ok because I had time to look around and browse. When I was approached they were nice and quick. No, they didn't sit there and ask how my day was or ask me my deepest secrets but they were fast and professional. Will definitely go back and will definitely recommend to anyone looking for good food/a good bakery.

UPDATE: I visited this establishment recently and the staff was so helpful and so kind! I really did notice a difference! The food was still amazing!! Will definitely come back! Very rude employees and the not the best customer service. Like you kinda feel unwelcome dining here. Redeeming quality is the food and prices! Very good food!!

The menu is short but everything smells and tastes good, the staff might mix up your order but they write everything on paper and make it all from scratch. Then after your lunch there are so many great choices for desserts. I'm happy I live so close I'll be in weekly at this rate

Service was not good at all. No "hello" no "is there anything else I can get you?" And no "thanks! Have a good day". It was just monotone and straight to the point of what's the size and flavor of the cake you ordered? That's about it. Ordered the strawberry cake and didn't have much taste to it. Pretty bland. Don't know if ill be back. Especially since I drove 25 min out of my way to go here specifically cause I had heard good things.

We ordered a strawberry chantilly cake from my dad’s birthday. Ordered it on April 14th, for his birthday today 4/21. Walked in to pick up his cake at 9:50 (We had a morning pickup). When told the name for the order and what we ordered, the worker looked at us like we were crazy. We then showed the confirmation email for our cake. Then the lady in charge asked when we ordered, and as shown on the confirmation it said 4/14. Her response to this was “that was a long time ago”... like there is an expiration on cake orders?? And only a week before??? 30 minutes later we get our cake. Clearly forgotten about and the worst part is there was no apologies, let alone a smile. We have had similar problems here but go back because my dad likes it. Good cakes, horrible service. Wouldn’t go there if you expect a pleasant experience. **edit: when we cut into the cake for my dad’s birthday, we discovered it was the wrong cake. Not just strawberry, there was also pineapple and kiwi in it. Luckily we aren’t very picky and they do make good cakes. But clearly they never made ours and grabbed a random one in the back. **** I would delete the review but it won’t let me so I just changed the Star rating. Bagatelle called and were VERY apologetic and offered a free cake. They were very genuine and made sure that they did everything they could to fix it. We really appreciate feeling heard about this issue!

Bagatelle Bakery is the best in town!! All of the food is delicious and the desserts are mouth watering. The chicken shawarma is my absolute favorite!! I don't live in Wichita anymore but whenever I come back in town, I ALWAYS make sure to go to bagatelle! You won't be disappointed!!

The food was great (once they got it right i asked for no onion and they gave me extra) and the bread is amazing. But the wait staff was horrible the wrost i have ever seen. They were snapping at each other in front of coustomers as well as at coustomers they were VERY rude, when my friend and I were looking to decide what breads one of the ladies even told us to hurry up and decide. I will say we had V help us and she was so kind and fixed the issues her coworkers causes with the big smile on her face she is the only reason i rated a 3 star instead of a 2.

I had a Shwarma at Meddy's but they don't compare to the ones here. The shwarmas are bigger at Bagatelle and the taste is exceptional. My wife had a ham and cheese croissant and loved it. Overall, outstanding! We will definitely come back.

Locally owned. French / Lebanese bakery and deli. Great bread, good Sunday brunch buffet. Also some Lebanese food: pita, tabouli, hummus. Best pita bread in town. Counter help can be entertainingly brusque, like in a great New York Deli.

I'm not a big fan of the dry cake as it is, but my wife likes them. We ordered a cake that they said would be ready the next day. The next day she couldn't get to the store so she called and told them she would come the day after. She arrived as she said AND THEY SOLD HER CAKE!!! They told her that it would not be good after two days so they went ahead and sold it, but failed to make another for her. They tried to push her to buy a different cake that she did not want, and not what she ordered. The worst part is that she said she'd be willing to wait for them to re-make the cake and they insisted she buy something similar instead. What is wrong with people. I was happy to hear my wife say that we can go somewhere else from now on!

Lovely little place. Food was delicious, and I can tell the bierock is very popular! They were already sold out by the time we arrived a little before noon. I tried the beef manoushi instead, and would highly recommend! Fair prices, and fabulous customer service. Will stop by again any time I am in Wichita. Going to try and swing by tomorrow morning for that bierock!

A truly fine dining experience. Came in at 2 pm and wasn't sure if there would be much available. For $ 21.42 the three of us had the best 2 beirocks in town, a beef swarma, taboule, cold shrimp soup, pita chips, blasalmic vineger, Olive oil and lemon cookies. Come on people, with all the new places don't forget what's been here and what really works.

Food offerings and bakery items are so good. Wish they would put online menu of the day since it changes daily. All the croissants are so tiny 😣. Service can be better. Some ladies always seem like they're yelling at you.

I always buy my cakes from here, some workers are pleasant some are not yet that doesnt take away from the tastey food and cakes. As long as you come in with some sort of idea on what you want you should be fine. Definitely recommend it to those who havent try it.
