Reviews of Boulangerie Christophe
I would be happy to write a review for a French bakery and coffee shop!
If you're looking for a delightful, authentic French bakery and coffee shop, look no further than this charming spot. From the moment you walk in the door, the warm and welcoming atmosphere envelops you, making you feel right at home.
The bakery boasts an extensive selection of freshly baked goods, all made with high-quality ingredients and prepared with the utmost care. Whether you're in the mood for a flaky croissant, or you want a nice sandwich.
And let's not forget about the coffee! This bakery serves up a mean cup of coffee, expertly crafted by skilled baristas using only the finest beans. The aroma alone is enough to make your mouth water, and the taste is even better.
But what really sets this bakery apart is the exceptional service. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure that their customers are happy and satisfied. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you'll feel like a valued guest every time you walk through the door.
Overall, I would highly recommend this French bakery and coffee shop to anyone looking for an authentic, delicious, and welcoming experience. Whether you're stopping in for a quick breakfast, a midday snack, or a leisurely coffee break, you're sure to leave feeling happy, satisfied, and eager to return.
I am also joining the queue, YES their croissants are insanely delicious !
Flan is ok, had better ones.
They have a nice outdoor seating. The store is spacious.
One of the best croissants I’ve tried in the area. Their baked goods are fresh coffee drinks are delicious. They also have a cozy seating in the back, it’s very relaxing.
Authentic French pastries. My favorite bakery in DC. Excellent bread too. The giant piece of avocado toast on a slice of crunchy bread is amazing!! They make the best millefeuille with lovely crispy layers. They had a divine Xmas buche made of lemon and pistachio with raspberries on top. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it!!! The smoked salmon sandwich is very good too.
Delightful breakfast that left us feeling full and satisfied. We ordered an array of items from the menu and each one was delicious in its own way. I will say that as a first timer I did not specify that we were dining on the patio which is important if you would like everything heated up. Everyone was friendly and the food was fresh and exactly what you would expect from a true French bakery. Glad that we found a table and decided to try it out. Bonus—> Pup friendly!!!
super busy on a saturday morning, but we were still served quickly and found seating easily. Tons of amazing pastries to choose from - my favorite was the pear and almond croissant. The employee recommended the pain au raisins which was really good as well. The boulangerie had a very authentic feel to it —there were even a few French-speaking customers there at the same time as us, which really set the scene. I wanted to try their baguette — it won an award for best baguette in 2019! Just another reason to visit again.
If you’re looking for a bakery in Georgetown - look no further. This French bakery was a dream! There was so much variety of sweet and savory bakery, different breads, drinks and more. I can’t recommend the hot chocolate enough; and the marble cake slice was delicious. The staff was so nice and helpful as well. We sat on the back patio and it was amazing. Can’t wait to go back.
Beautiful selection of savory and sweet, seems to be the most authentic french cafe for miles.
The ham and Brie sandwich was on the best baguette I’ve had in years, crisp on the outside but lovely and soft on the inside.
The mont blanc has a mild and sweet taste from the chestnut and patisserie cream, rich from the crispy shell, with a surprise meringue but in the inside. Definitely coming back for more !
Both desserts and breads looked amazing here! I tried chocolate tart and the brioche with chocolate chips inside. The tart was more like mousse than ganache, and I wish they could have added a bit more texture in it. The brioche with chocolate ships was great! There were some additional seats in the backyard, but in general, seating could be challenging during peak hours. Overall, it’s a nice bakery if you happen to come to the Georgetown area. It is OK, not an amazing French experience or even a terrific bakery. I paid USD 19 for coffee, goat cheese quiche and an almond & pear tart. The food items were ok and fresh. The coffee (dark roast) was awful. The customer service is ok but they don't take items to the table. Not sure if I will come back.
The fruit tart is delicious and the coffee eclair is good too. The hazel nut tort was ok. Not a lot of favor. The panne au Chocolat didn't have much chocolate in the center, but the pastry was buttery delicious.
Coffee is very good. We ordered machiato single shot and cafe au lait. Crepe was good. Egg and cheese croissant was delicious. Chocolate eclairs was good too.
Walking into this boulangerie makes me feel like I am in Paris. Everything is authentic and hearing the staff interact with customers In French makes me smile. Perfect breads and French pastries in an adorable environment. Check out the patio in the back!
Excellent place for a stop if you're doing your morning walk when you're staying at Georgetown.
Fresh pastries and savory pies await you. I opted for their crepe forestiere which I'm glad I did. Succulent mushrooms, creme fraske over tender chicken breast. Brunchworthy!
Chocolate and almond croissants tasted very good, ppl are welcoming, once u get in you will smell a delicious odor will takes you to a Parisian street 😌
The only thing I think should be changed is the siting tables and chairs! …
Simply amazing French pastries (get the regular croissant to see what a French croissant should taste like), sandwiches, and drinks. Nice seating area outside. Highly recommended.
Stunning pastries and baked goods.
Highly recommend the things you won't find everywhere such as the apricot-tarte and the savory salmon-waffle and classic lunch crepes
Really hard to achieve this level of quality.
Amazing French bakery. Come early and there is not a lot of seating so plan on sitting outside or taking it togo. They also serve coffee.
The mint blanc is too sweet. The fruit tarte is ok. The other one is good. Good price with good quality overall.
The deserts are amazing here. Three prices are a bit expensive guy worth the taste. The decor is charming the staff is super friendly. There are patio settings in the back. Located in a pedestrian busy shopping street in bustling Georgetown just off M street.
I hate driving in Georgetown, but I'd do it to go back here. These are some top notch pastries. I mean REALLY good. I drove from Kingstown to get them.
Outside of France, best croissant 🥐 I’ve had. The ham & cheese croissant was flaky, buttery, and everything it should be! …
Can't speak for the food quality but the interior looks pretty, especially the patio area.
The desserts 🍨are pretty looking. Not the most beautiful I've seen in my life but quite appealing.
I wish I had time to try everything here. Unfortunately haven't had any time to try anything. Maybe one day I'll be back. And of course I'll leave a more detailed review then.
The creme brûlée was good. The staff were not welcoming or friendly. The staff did not announce when our drinks were ready so the drinks sat on the counter for several minutes without us knowing, while we waited. The hot chocolate was not hot.
Update: Still great and now a hugely popular place! I recently had lunch here and you simply must see the charming dining room to believe it.
My goodness, the croissants I had were baked to perfection! The inside of the pastry is delightfully buttery and melts in your mouth.
I also had a cafe au lait that was equally perfect and took home a baguette!
There is beautiful outdoor seating as well.
What a great little French bakery with authentic style pastries and bread. Their coffee is French style to. They have a wonderful secluded back patio you could get lost in.
Sooo good. An actual French boulangerie which you never get outside of France. The baguette sandwiches are delicious and the pastries are perfect and traditional. Can be a bit pricey but you’re paying for quality.
An opportunity to practice french, both the language and the bakery 😊
We have one abricot croissant, lemon tart, chocolate tart and off course coffee. I couldn't resist trying the Marron Glacé. Everything was perfect, perfect, perfect.
This place is highly recommended
The place has a really nice atmosphere with siting next the window. And food I never have like it. It is tasty and delicious. I suggest you to go there and try it out.
Cannot recommend the Boulangerie enough! Not only are the pastries and coffee excellent (definitely stop by whether you live in the neighborhood or are visiting), but the whole team in the cafe will make you feel at home and well cared for as a customer.
It didn't match to the reviews. Bruche was tasting quite old. Even breads were not that great. Pancakes prep was decent though. But can be missed out.
Everything is so good here! The sandwiches are great but they sure can cut up your mouth that’s how good the bread is!! Worth it.
So delicious!!!! A real French bakery in both DC and Potomac that actually lives up to the hype. Croissants and tarts are amazing and the bread is also a great texture and crunch.
delicious food and excellent customer service - sarah in particular was extremely helpful and very friendly the entire time, she provided various recommendations and i ended up getting the quiche (which was great). 10/10
Beautiful French bakery with abundant pastries, delicious baguettes and a wide selection of rustic breads. Absolutely outstanding.
Wonderful little spot if you live great French baking and desserts. Loved the cute little patio in the back.
The closest you’ll get to enjoying real French delicacies without flying to Paris. Even the staff speaks French to give it more authenticity. Vive le croissant!
Great place for breakfast in the restaurant upstairs. We had the eggs benedict and the omelette. Great croissant and fresh squeezed orange juice and superb cafe latte. The bakery on the main level is amazing as well. I'll definitely be back!
Delicious French pastries and great coffee. The staff are extremely friendly. I’d skip the pistachio eclair next time but the croissants are excellent and fresh. Lively patio seating in the back, too.
I love this place! Coffee-good, pastry-good, outdoor sitting area-amazing. I Never leave without buying a bread loaf for home
The pastries, croissants and baguettes are très délicieux. There's a line early in the morning but after 10ish it clears up. Love Boulangerie Christophe it's exactly what Georgetown has been missing a wonderful bakery. The dark chocolate mousse tarte was magnifique 😋🙉💕 and the pastry cream in the fruit tarte parfaite 👌 …
Great espresso and croissants. Would recommend this place. The back patio is nice. The service is polite and courteous. Food preparation quality is exceptional.
This food is the perfect way to have a fancy Friday night date 🎉 everything was delicious, and I really impressed my friend with my taste in food. Very much worth the stop, and the people behind the counter are super friendly. …
I enjoyed the croissants here...the lemon tarte was fresh and tasty. The back patio was nice but got really hot and stuffy despite being open, since it was all surrounded by walls. The service was not the best though. The person who helped me never smiled or even suggested any of her favorite cakes when I asked. She didn't want to be there!
Loved this cute place. Best French pastries I've had in DC and really good coffee. The outdoor seating area is great for a quiet spot to chat with friends. Staff have always been super friendly and helpful when I've been in.
I don't know how I did not discover this place sooner. I was a little bit hesitant coming here after reading the negative reviews online and the Washington Post article but I'm so glad I did come anyway. This if the best place for pastries and bread in DC. The staff were really friendly and ordering was fairly quick despite the lines. The food is absolutely wonderful the pastries are so delightful and fresh. I ordered a lemon tart pistachio eclair and a salmon quiche and they were all just wonderful. I also absolutely love their marble cakes and hazelnut and Chestnut cakes... They are truly perfect. I didn't like the fact that there was very limited seating... And unfortunately the seating indoors is really terrible... The tables are way too high and uncomfortable... I ordered the majority of my food to go. Will definitely come back again for breakfast in the future.
My favorite brunch spot in Georgetown. Their cheese and mushroom omelet is my favorite breakfast anywhere in the city. Their pastries are amazing and the staff is exceptional. Outdoor patio seating in the back is very chic.
It’s like an instant teleportation to the real deal from France. Everything looks and taste just like the original thing - and the good tasty version of it. Highly recommended if you want to try what a boulangerie is all about, French typical pastries (Flan was delicious) or baguette (excellent too). Or if you are French and home sick of the goodies, go there!
One of my favorite bakeries and patisserie in town. Super cute patio in the back, as well as a beautiful cozy space upstairs. Great french viennoiseries, and hands down the best baguette in the DMV.
Fabulous bakery that is truly close to a high-end French boulangerie. Friendly and efficient staff make short work of the demand.
Airport quality premade sandwiches. And $12!
Fantastic brunch, coffee, service and ambiance. A true boulangerie in DC, finally. The outdoor patio is gorgeous, sure to be a crowd favorite this summer.
Boulangerie Christophe has the best savory french baked goods in DC (and some of the best sweet ones too!) and has a pleasant patio to boot. Service is always fantastic.
Best iced oat milk chai latte I’ve ever had. The croissants from here are incredible too! Highly highly recommend
This place has the best sandwiches and sweets in town! Make sure to buy their french baguette.
Such a rare and exquisite delight. The staff is wonderful, the pastries feature hard-to-find and beautifully executed exemplars of their varieties, and the setting is relaxing (especially the back courtyard when the weather is right). Dreamy.
Wish they had more seating and croissants didn’t taste like the freshest but coffee was delicious.
Beautiful restaurant/ cafe. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The coffee was great. The food was great. Everything was great. Thanks!
A wonderful find! Authentic and close to home yet I feel transported to France
Favorite and best bakery for me in DC. The bread, desert, dishes from the menu are all well done! I have got this cake for Mother’s Day two years around. The strawberries were so fresh and the chocolate powder is high quality, well balanced! The staff told me the owner made it this morning when I came to pick it up. No wonder everyone loved it!!!
My boyfriend brought me a custard & fruit tart from here after visiting a tailor shop nearby. Wow! Perfectly balanced with natural sweetness from the blueberries and raspberries and a creamy center. I could eat this forever. He also bought some macaroons. The salted caramel were incredible. Highly recommend for anyone with a sweet tooth. Parfait!
Croissants as close to the French ones as possible. So far one of the best bakeries I tried in the US. Those people who writes that the taste is bland are probably used to cheap pastries with too much sugar. Both apricot and almond croissants were delicious, so were tuna sandwich and veggie soup. Coming back to try your tarts too.
A little more chairs would be nice.
Legit and just like in France (or maybe better)! The epic loaf of bread was great for visiting family. The chestnut pastry was out of this world. The service was slow on Saturday and they forgot our coffee order, so beware of busy weekends. But I will be back for sure.
Pastries were good. Only downfall is someone stole my shades.
Best French pastries, bread and croissants in town. The croissants were actually the best I ever had, including in France where I grew up....
Bought an almond croissant. OO-EH LA ALMOND? The pastry was very good but the almond paste in the center was non-existent. Enjoyed the few almonds on the top. I may try again, one more time.
i really loved the latte i got, one of the best coffees i have had in the area so far! and very nice service. i also enjoyed seeing all the different delicious looking options in the display and will be back to try sometime. i also really like the decor.
The place is small and crowded - but their patisseries are amazing. I would highly recommend their Flan and Almond Croissant. And they really have a great coffee. Highly recommended place if you like French Patisseries.
Wonderful bakery and patisserie with delicious croissants and desserts, and a cozy back patio that's perfect for conversation or relaxation. Certainly lives up to its excellent reputation!
We were needing a quick a bite and stumbled on this great French cafe/bakery. The sandwich was delicious!
Good coffee and quiche, limited decaf tea selection, beautiful pastries, very limited seating
Really cute Cafe, pastries looked good. I had the quiche which was excellent. There's an adorable outdoor patio. It doesn't get 5 stars because there's no Wi-Fi! I'd love to work out of here sometimes but the hi wifi makes that pretty difficult.
Finally a non-tourist place to eat and chat in Georgetown. Glass cases filled with sweet and savory pastries ground floor with 4 hightop tables, a patio out back; upstairs a real sitdown restaurant with a real chef.
Best tiramisu ever!! Quick attention and great desert options loved everything!!
What a lovely place! The food was so great, loved the drinks, strong illy coffee, & gorgeous surroundings. Can’t wait to come back!
The staff was very sweet and the pastries we tried were all super delicious! We had Paris Brest and lemon tart and they were amazing, 10/10 would go there again. I would also highly recommend the quiche and the croissants!
This place is really cute! Go beyond the cafe in the front, visit their back courtyard or adorable dining room upstairs. It isn’t usually busy for breakfast or lunch during the week. I have often had the entire upstairs dining room with fireplace to myself. I’ve also attended a private event here in the courtyard which was really nice. Lots of treats, tea, and wine to choose from.
Cute little French cafe with great selection of pastries, sandwiches, small bites, and coffee. The back patio is great when the weather is nice with some tables and umbrellas. There is some seating upstairs but it's limited. Too bad you can't order off the menu downstairs. The flow creates a chaotic, crowded space. Very limited seating inside on the main floor. Coffee is fine but not the highlight.
This place is great! A Georgetown classic French Bakery/Bistro. The Pasta Bolognese is quite literally the best pasta dish I've ever had in my life. Give them a look!
Located in a nice area, not much indoor seating but nice selection of pastries and desserts. Coffee was good too.
Great place however they are using paper plates now which doesn’t seem to match their ambiance and price tags.
Our go-to French bakery in DC! Their baked goods are the best!
Chocolate eclair was so mid - something about the batter and cream was really off. Also got a chocolate cake which I wasn’t impressed with.
Okay… I went around 5:30 pm to the Potomac location. I’m not sure if stock is refreshed or not, but everything was quite stale. The “regular” baguette was hard and tough. I tried the chocolate éclair and the Paris Brest. The choux for both was dry and a bit stale. The cream for the Paris brest tasted great but was a bit more of a heavy buttercream than a cream. Happy to see a chocolate éclair was filled with a chocolate crème pâtissière as opposed to just vanilla as many American bakeries like to do. Prices were pretty high. A baguette was $4.60 compared to €1.20 at a well revered boulanger in France. Over $6 a dessert was also very high.
Boys/Cashiers were super sweet. It was wonderful hearing French all over the place. Pastries and quiches were super good and beautiful. Absolutely recommend and will be back again!
Friendly fast service! Salmon and Avid’s I crepe was spot on.
It was visually appealing! Made it difficult to choose from their attractive shelf display. When I made my choice (the apple tartlet), I was DELICIOUSLY happy with my choice!
We wandered by and thought we would just pop-in for a small bite … walked out with a full bag of treats (for the record, we were only buying for two!)! The smells! The beautiful creations behind the glass! It would be impossible to walk into this shop and only buy one thing (and I don’t recommend accepting that challenge). We shared a prosciutto sandwich, and then indulged in a few pastries: Paris Brest, Apple Turnover and Apple Tartlet. Everything was delicious but the most surprising delight was the apple tartlet. It is so light, not too sweet - a perfectly balanced treat. Would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Georgetown.
Friendly staff, café on ground floor, restaurant on 1st floor. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and diner. The food is really tasty. Pastries are french-like. Totally recommended.
you get eveything you want from a cafe.
Location!!
Food is fantastic
prices are amazing
coffee is excellent
staff are very fast and friendly
and they have an award of best bread in America...
all of the above to tell you ... YOU MUST TRY
Pricey, but you will love the baguette sandwiches, the amazing pastries, and the spacious patio in the back!
Nice and kind ppl, lover the salads but they are smaller than some weeks ago
Excellent assorted french pastries (beignets worth the visit), baguettes and restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. Beautiful back patio and upstairs restaurant with plenty of seating. Slice Of Paris in DC.
This place is amazing! It is my family's new favorite place to have breakfast/brunch/or lunch while we are in Georgetown. My favorite place here is the courtyard/patio in the back. It's so cozy and makes you feel relaxed! I can't wait to try almost everything on the menu, but everything I've had so far is simple amazing. The portions are perfect, and the prices are affordable. The quality of pastry is just deliciously perfect. The staff are so friendly and make sure everyone is taken care of with the best attention given. I love this place.
I also love their lattes 😍 it’s perfection.
Savannah
Lovely French Boulangerie with great service!
Very authentic, charming and truly amazing pastries. Best Mont Blanc in town!
Was super busy when I went and waited about 25 minutes for a savory crepe. Things happen I get it so what I go off is how staff handle hiccups. The person that rang up my order promptly looked into it and told me a mistake with the order was made. As soon as my order was finally ready they quickly got my order and gave it to me. I also had a decaf latte and almond croissant that were both tasty. I plan to come back when it's not to busy.
Pricey, but excellent quality from the couple of times that I've been here.
Great sweets. Good coffee and service. The Patio is just a small oasis in Georgetown.
Cute little french bakery. We got a box of pastries, coffee, and two ham sandwiches. The coffee was okay but I expected better for the price. Sandwiches were amazing. The service there could have been better, the girl serving us seemed like she was stoned or something. Other than that, the seating area and food were very good.
one female staff have bad attitude 😔 …
I love their croissants. Especially the one with apricot! Pastries are fresh, not too sweet. Always pick up a cappuccino. Service is excellent. They are so friendly. A small garden cafe for patrons to sit, chat, and enjoy the food. Merci!
I like the bakery's products. They are tasty and go well with the coffee. I only partake on Sundays after church and look forward to my time there. The staff is friendly and quick. It is a busy place so I'm not alone and they have a nice outdoor patio in the back.
Good pastries and good coffee with nice seating area in the back
Yummy pastries and an amazing baguette. Crepes were fantastic and egg and cheese croissant delicious. A great spot in Georgetown.
Great food... good coffee...wonderful staff!!!
Too busy and buzzy. I like slow experiences at coffee shops. Quaint corners where one might sit and soak in the world passing by and coffee up. I ordered a cappuccino and a slice of chocolate cake. The coffee was bitter and the cake slice every ordinary. However, I understand that some of us like our coffee stronger or that I might have tasted the least recommended item on their list. I will try them again. But the vibe in the cafe is so bustling that I didn't feel relaxed.
Some of the very best croissants you can find in DC!
We love their bread and viennoiseries, they are as good as in France (with the DC price tag of course). However we don't like their patisseries; all the ones with have tried had an issue in term of texture, except for one (éclair à la pistache). Our biggest disappointment was the Paris-Brest: the chou was okay, but they are using some kind of "crème au beurre" inside, which makes the Paris-Brest way too heavy. All the Paris-Brest we had were silkier and their insides were actually a cream, not something as solid as a stick of butter. Also, it didn't really taste like praliné. We have also been disappointed with their "petit déjeuner". The food was okay, but you need to pay the service before hand, and it's basically just someone bringing you a plate; if you want a glass of water you need to go inside to help yourself. We paid $38 for a crêpe and a pain perdu, but couldn't even get a glass of water because they were no plastic cups left.
Great pastries, even better bread. It's worth making the trek and waiting in line to get their baguettes, that look to be freshly baked everyday. The walnut fig bread is recommended as well.
In terms of pastries I recommend trying the apple chaussons. Great coffee too!
Very good quality pastry. We went for breakfast and had eggs and pastry with coffee. Everything was very well prepared. There are a few tables out front by the street, and some in a small courtyard out back. My only gripe was the trash collectors bashing around the trashcans in the back for 10min, making a hell of a racket, and walking through everyone to take the trash out front. Not the restaurant's fault, but does make a peaceful breakfast impossible. Suggestion: the stairs by the garbage cans should be replaced by a ramp, and one of the restaurant staff should bring the containers out front wen the collectors pass by. This may reduce the annoying disturbance.
I love this coffee , all the people who works there are friendly especially A lady called Sarah has very nice welcoming smile and she is very helpful.
I loooove their croissants and pastries. There's always a line out the door.
If you are looking for a great french bakery and a pastry shop look no further. Everything they make is great. Everything looks so tempting that one is not sure where to begin. I wish I could try all of their goodies. This will be my goto place in DC for a bakery. I ❤ it
Definitely some of the best bread in the city! The sandwiches and pastries are a must for every visit. They almost always have a line, but manage to process all the orders fairly quickly. This is a go to spot if you're in the area
Excellent baguette sandwiches and nice outdoor seating
I was recommended by a friend and I got completely disappointed.
In general the pastries are good and look good, however, I don't recomend anybody buying the raising bread. Actually, they should stop making it. It is extremely hard, tough, tasteless and imposible to eat. If you want to loose a teeth for an expensive snack, just go there.
Also, they use microwave to heat the food. The sandwiches turned chewy after got warm. At least, they should get a toster or something different.
The most authentic French bakery in DC. You can't find better croissants in the city, I've tried. I wish there was more indoor seating for these cold winter months, but that's a small thing
A very nice French bakery!
Very good quiche and pain au chocolat. Try to grab one of the seats at the window / get stuff for takeaway.
Warm, cozy place run by a few French speaking employees with French products ! Real French baguette, croissant, pain au chocolat, pastries😋...
If you want to discover and have a little bit of taste of France🇫🇷 it's the right place to go! I didn't put a 5⭐ just because of the price $.Try and Enjoy the moment.
Bon appétit 😊
Authentic, fresh, and flaky croissants. Best I’ve had in the US!
As any French bakery the expectations are succeed. Gr at variety of breads and pastries. The aroma of fresh baked bread 🥪 bring memories from childhood. A little bit pricey, but it's worth it. There is s little patio set up to have your goodies. It's very cold though, so you better wear a coat. …
I loved this shop. idk if it's like the hipster vibe it gives off, but this bakery soooo cute. bestie said the chocolate croissant is the best she's had since coming back from France. she almost cried tears of joy, but she just kept stuffing her face.
pastries are delicious. baguette was so soft. like incredibly soft. highly recommend you try a little bit of everything.
Really a great place!!, fresh and delicious. It’s in my list of starred places
Dream come true. Magnificent, delicious, exquisite, pristine. Quality of the food is simply amazing. Perfect in every way!
delicious and amazing.
definitely I will be back soon.
As close as it gets to the real Parisian thing. Delicious.
Best French food I've found since moving to the US from Paris. If you have a free afternoon in Georgetown, be sure to swing by for an authentically French experience - the service is much slower than Americans are used to but I did not mind!
I got the goat cheese salad and absolutely loved the tasting the subtle hints of lavender and honey, which made for a great Southern French spin on the food. Definitely on the pricier side of things but there are lots of good-looking options that could also be worth the price tag.
However, the patisseries look better than they actually are. We were disappointed by the pain au chocolat, seeing as though the chocolate itself tasted more like Nutella than anything else.
It is a difficult task to find a good baguette in the DC area. BC makes an excellent baguette with the right combination of crispiness on the outside and a perfect soft texture inside. Well done! I will be ordering baguettes from BC from here on out.
So so good
Cozy
And everyone is so nice
My favorite
The strawberry tiramisu is just on a different level good. Definitely recommend it.. just wish they made it a daily thing..
Loved the outdoor seating in the back, food was ok but the Americano and double espresso was the real winner
Had to wait 40 minutes and then find out the kitchen never got our order after checking in three times.
For the last 2 and a half years I was giving them 5 stars for everything but today am giving 3 stars and that for their good service, baguette and viennoiseries only. Meanwhile the quality of their pastries has been changed dramatically! I don’t know if the chef pâtissier has been replaced or some other reasons are involved. One example is, they had the best praline Bûche de Noel in DC, but today after trying the two new options of praline they have made I was shocked, they didn’t taste good at all and nothing like praline?!!!
I hope that they will take care of this matter soon. It’s sad to see my favourite boulangerie in DC degrading like that.
A stunning array of food here. Kind staff. You'll likely wait in a queue to get in and order. Comfortable patio in the back. We had quiche and croissants and both were amazing
Nice french bakery. Tasty pastries, sandwiches, and dessert. A bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for.
Today it was excellent. The food is always great and today the American college girls were very respectful and quick with my order. Full house. My corner needed a little sweep. Overall... excellent.
A warm and cozy place where you can enjoy really nice baked goods and coffee. I always love to chill here from time to time and have their warm breads.
Always crowded
Tasty french pastries which aren't cheap but you gonna enjoy them
People usually don't give up their seats so if you find the place crowded try some other places
Few seats are available in the backyard but no heat during the winter time
I wish I could give more than 5 stars.. this is the place to be.. HANDS DOWN BEST BOULANGERIE IN DC! Don't miss out! Felt like I was in Paris
The food is as good as the service is bad. My order has been wrong more than half the times I've been here. Once they made 5 mistakes on an order that had just 4 items. In this instance I ordered 2 large coffees, one iced, one hot and 2 of the egg and cheese croissants to go. First they gave me an iced tea (wrong) and medium hot coffee (wrong). Then one large hot coffee (correct) and a medium iced coffee (wrong). Next they gave me just one croissant to go(wrong). When I asked for the second croissant, they gave it to me for here (wrong).
Besides being extremely disorganized behind the counter, I believe the biggest reason they make mistakes is because the woman (who I'd guess is the manager?) has a favorite pastime of interrupting the cashiers while customers are ordering.
The food is good, so if I have time to wait to get my order corrected, I go.
Love this place and everyone is very friendly. Their pastries, sandwiches, and quiche are all amazing plus they have a delicious brunch. The Benedict Jambon de Paris is very good. They always make our complicated coffee order too :)
Decent bakery with a selection of sweet pastries and savory items like quiche. There are a few seats downstairs and a restaurant upstairs. They also make coffee drinks. Unfortunately there was no French press. The staff are quick, friendly and helpful. It has more personality than some of the chain bakeries nearby.
Nice place, the pastries were delicious however the baguette for the sandwiches was EXTREMELY hard that it even hurt my gums a bit also some of the cakes and pastries were very expensive but overall I enjoyed my lunch. 😊 …
Very authentic french bakery. Good fresh sandwiches and sweets. The fact that all of the staff speaks in French is a great touch.
This bakery is good, they sell really good breads! Sandwiches looked alright, unfortunately they have a quite limited selection on the toppings (6 different styles). I've just been here for take out, but the seating area upstair and food looked really good.
We drove 50mins from MD to try out this Boulangerie as we are always in search of authentic French croissant and pain au chocolat (and cappuccino!) and this place is definitely authentic. Tried the almond croissant, plain croissant, pain au chocolat, coffee eclair, chocolate tartlett, cappuccino and hot chocolate. All items were 10/10 except maybe the hot chocolate which wasn’t as rich as I’d expected at a European cafe. Prices are quite high but that is not surprising given how expensive DC is. Wish it was closer to me so I could go there more often!! They have a tent on the patio if you want to sit outside. But it’s very cold now to sit comfortably. Note: for parking you can easily find paid parking on the street across.
Fresh sandwiches with amazing bread - the chicken and prosciutto with buffalo mozzarella are delicious! Great variety of desserts and pastries. Highly recommended.
Pastries were excellent if quite expensive - 2 tartes + 2 coffees is $20. The coffee which being Illy is usually great, was very weak. This seems to be a trend in hipster, urban coffee houses all over the country now. For several years coffee was acrid and black, now it's most of the time horribly weak.
Delicious selection of sandwiches and coffee ... And other dog delights
adorable cafe with the cutest outdoor seating ever. pretty good selection for food but the coffee isn't great. i liked the chai latte instead of the coffee
I normally just grab a pain aux raisin which is my fav but I decided to try the upstairs restaurant and fell in love.
My wife and I had our wedding dinner at Boulangerie Christophe and Karim and his staff helped make it one of the best nights of our lives. We needed a private, outdoor space where our small group of parents and siblings could space ourselves out, feel safe, and celebrate together- Karim was so helpful and happy to provide it for us.
The dinner itself was incredible. Everyone who got the octopus was talking about it all night. The filet mignon was easily one of the best steaks I've ever had. This was not your typical 'wedding medallion'- they served huge cuts that were of exceptional quality. I highly recommend ordering it if you book a private dinner.
We'll be going back for the rest of our lives to get their pastries, sandwiches, coffee, and wine whenever we want to remember our special night. Thank you so much Boulangerie Christophe!
Best French breads and pastries in the DMV! Definitely on the pricey side, but the quality is top notch. The baguettes are perfection- crusty on the outside and soft on the inside.
Delicious pastries and coffee ☕️ (thanks to Tarik for introducing this cool place to me)
The best pastry in town but prices are to much
Excellent French bakery in Georgetown. Almond, chocolate, apricot croissants are all excellent and highly recommended. Among all kinds of other pastries and baguette bread. The coffee is also delicious.
Great bakery, feeling european vibes. Love their eclairs
Their coffee was very well balanced and my almond croissant was delicious. The barista however burned it when heating it up and when I questioned him, he just handed it to me and said it'd be fine.... I'm sure if I demanded a new croissant they'd have given it to me, but I feel he should have known better than to serve a customer burned food!
Coffee was tasty but expensive. We did not have food but it looked and smelled amazing. Staff needs an attitude adjustment. The lady taking our order was out of her way unfriendly and unhelpful. Last thing I want to encounter on a cozy Saturday morning.
Single place in DC with delicious Éclair. Very recommend.
Everything looks amazing. But sad to say I was surprised that the flan pie was mediocre, they shouldn't call it flan at all, if I hadn't had flan on the brain I might have thought it was better than just okay. Do NOT waste your money on the chocolate doughnut, it was on the dry side, the sugar is not as good as you think it's going to be and the chocolate is not a high quality, kind of like a cheap Nutella without the hazelnut, the chocolate croissant had a very buttery pastry so that was good.
One of the best ham & cheese baguette. Everything tastes heavenly!
The patio seating is scene straight out of a Paris. Worth every penny
Fun little French coffee shop downstairs with private patio in back. Casual dining upstairs with classic French dishes. Most of the staff is French, so it is a great place to practice your language skills, but they all speak English very well. Great service and great food.
Very nice afternoon cappuccino and pleasant workers. For a moment I forgot I was in DC. I didn’t get a chance to try any of their delicious pastries, sandwiches, salads and more, but something tells me you can’t go wrong. Would be a cute spot for a first date or just an afternoon treat!
With baked goods to-go and dining on-site, la Boulangerie Christophe served an excellent omelette aux herbes et champignons (herb and mushroom), if un peu pricey and a little small. The French-speaking waiter was attentive for the first 30 minutes, then seemed to forget about us. Similarly delicious, the almond croissant was well-baked but could have used more almond paste inside. It will not replace Patisserie Poupon but offers solid alternative French culinary choice. A la prochaine !
Cute little cafe with French pastries. It was not very busy, which was nice as I got to sit in their little back terrace away from the noisy street.
My friend recommended that we meet her for lunch. The restaurant is not hard to find. However, parking nearby is hard to find, but that is to be expected in Georgetown. It appears that this restaurant/bakery/coffee shop is popular with the French community in DC from all the folks speaking French around us. Food was really good. Lunch menu had "light" items and a more modern flare. I enjoyed the meal.
Outstanding experience with the staff and the pastries(pattissierre). You have to indulge in the pastries, it's fresh, scrumptious and memorable. I wish I could have gone up to the restaurant, I had a kid on stroller so not so easy.
WOW! Was great. Napoleon were awesome!
Product quality is extraordinary, customer service is very good, and general vibe is very good. Favoite order, Vanilla Beignet; favorite time to visit, between 9 and 10 A.M (everyone is relaxed and seats are available because of the small number of people inside). Parking is not bad if you do not mind walking a block or two from a side street or parking garage. Not to miss: outside seating in the back of the shop!
I am learning some words in french next time I go there, lovely ambience, the tables by the windows give you the best "people watching" view of Wisconsin Ave. pedestrian traffic. The food upstairs I recommend you try everything in the menu, so far no disappointment. Going back soon
After you finish your food go downstairs and get a pastry, any! you will be delighted.
High price, not good quality, croissant with small pice ham and small pice of cheese like quarter coin cost 7$!!!! If my small kitty eat it she said “give me more” so am really didn’t recommend am disappointed ☹️
Cozy French style bakery with a lot of options for a fast breakfast and also for a longer brunch at the second floor.
The patio area and desserts looks beautiful 👍 …
J'adore! Authentic French bakery in Georgetown. Baguettes, macarons, and sandwiches are all incroyable. In addition, I love being able to converse with certain staff members in French. Will happily return, no better bread in Georgetown.
I discovered this cozy French cafe , cappuccino is ok but not strong , illy, very tasty fresh French pastries and good baguette. Little expensive, like everything $5-6 ..service is improving. Long queue on wknd . They are sometimes rude , I mean French y rude ! This is not France !
The pattiserie wasn't wow, but the place is very chic and has like a french style. I had the pumpkin quiche and I loved it! The price was not high at all. I actually found it cheap.
A great hole in the wall, and a bit out of the way from M street where its a bit crowded and noisy. Logistically, it is a bit confusing trying to understand which tables have a server assigned and which don't. Additionally, I don't recall, but I don't believe all/every table can do the brunch (when seated outside). But that's the point, it was very confusing that I can't even recall the facts for this review. Food comes highly recommended.
This place is just ok. Its not terrible but it does not stack up to breadfurst or baked and wired at all. The breads are just ok. The croissants were just not crispy enough outside with squishy pockets of airy butter inside like we love. Everyone working there was lovely and helpful and the space is very nice to sit and linger a bit.
Top notch bread and pastries, the tarts were a bit bland but the coffee bread and apple chausson latte were very good. Got a sandwich from here but sadly did not get to eat do to forces out of our control!
Great boulangerie! I just had a baby and every time someone comes to visit we walk over to have a snack. My guests and I always leave happy. Their back patio is very charming and the torsade never disappoints.
The eclair was incredible and the whole vibe is quaint and friendly. The cider and coffee were delicious! We can't wait to come back and try more goodies.
Good food and nice coffee in a relaxed bistro environment.
Delicious hot mushroom quiche, fresh baguette with soft butter and and topped off with an exquisite almond pastry topped and a prefect tall latte with a beautiful swirl design. Fantastic experience!! Great staff. This experience far exceeded my best boulangerie experience on my last trip to Europe.
This place is excellent and have a wide variety of French bakery items. They have sandwiches, crossaints, and sweets among other French pastries. I had the jamón and cheese crossaint and found that excellent. They also have great espresso based drinks and make a good cappuccino to have with the pastries. A must try in the George Town area.
This is a lovely little cafe. The pastries are especially excellent. Their happy hour includes several delicious French wines at very reasonable prices. I cannot recommend this place highly enough
Great place for breakfast! The bakery is to die for.
Soooo delicious!! We came by last Saturday and although the place was very busy, they were able to seat us within 15 minutes. We ordered the French toast and eggs Benedict and they were mouth wateringly good. We also tried several of the pastries downstairs and loved them. Highly recommend!
Best bakery I’ve been! The pastries and bread are like no other place. I even think their pain au chocolat is better than the ones you can find in Paris.
Extraordinary sandwiches and service. Took my daughter-in-law who happens to be Algerian snd who misses her dad given the anniversary of his passing. "My dad use to buy these sandwiches for me when as a child were living in Paris," she said ..happy to have made the mother of my grandchild and the one to come happy reminiscing about her dad
The baked goods are to die for. Well priced. Nice wines and coffee. Outdoor and upstairs seating. Love this place. Service currently is very good. Anything you order will be delicious.
The fact that you can come here and hear French is amazing. The bread is divine.
The coffee is very good and service in the outdoor patio excellent. The pastries can be hit or miss - croissants and brioche are good but the tart au citron needed more lemon flavor.
Great croissants and baguette. Great coffee. Be prepared for 5-7 minute wait as they are usually busy, which is expected because of quality.
Almond croissant was served warm and was good. They're known for their bread but I haven't tried it.
Very cute place to catch up with friends, the only downside is that the patio is a tad small so its hard to social distance there. My friend and I went on a drizzly day and the 2 dry tables were already taken.
Great place to grab a cappuccino and a croissant or pain au chocolat in the morning. I used to pass by this place on my way to work and it was a temptation! Lots of tasty treats.
Came for breakfast at 7.30, then found out that breakfast wasn't being served until 8.30. However, the food was lovely and the courtyard is a great place!
Very cozy boulangerie! The atmosphere is totally authentic! I've been there several times and the service has always been excellent! Their pastries are amazing! Worthy of many visits!
One of my wife and my favorite places for coffee and pastries in Georgetown. Great outdoor seating area in the back. Wonderful for a quiet morning coffee together before work
Outside of actually being in Paris for a French breakfast, this is the best French breakfast I've had in the US! Be sure to go upstairs if you want full service breakfast, but the bakery here is excellent, too!
Overall nice franchise, good presentation and the pastries as well as beverages are above average.
The best everything French outside of France. Breads and pastries to die for. They deserve 6 stars.
Parlez Vous Francais? No? No worries, because France came to the Georgetown by itself. Boulangerie is a classical French bistro/patisserie. And main difference between this place and majority others that they saved the spirit of Europe. This place is out of cupcakes loaded with sugar so bad, that only one bite takes you into hyperglycemic coma.
Pastries there are very light and very European. Good coffee, tasty sandwiches would make this picture full.
Excell Food the eggs Benedict Christophe was great and the coffee was also very good. Relaxed atmosphere and digs are welcome on the patio. Will definitely go back.
Upstairs has a restaurant, restoration hardware decor from floor to ceiling. Came for brunch Sunday morning. Food was excellent , the lavender lemonade was refreshing. Super friendly staff.
Omelette would be better at home. Pastries looked great though. Maybe stick with that or the savory crepes and waffles
Great spot in Georgetown, excellent pain au chocolat!
The pastries and coffees are amazing here! I came twice and they just serve the best desserts! Also it's great customer service.
The pastries are delicious, and the selection is excellent. Most of the staff is wonderful, and the rest are fine.
This is a lovely neighborhood cafe.
Very nice place to get some rest around DC. Very nice guys.
Croque Monsiure was dry and tasteless.
Their croissants are delicious. Their veggie sandwich with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and olives was a little dry.
Recently discovered this neighborhood gem! What an utter delight. Great, creative sandwiches, wonderful baked goods, and super friendly staff. All items made there by their talented chefs! C’est magnifique!!
Easily the best baguettes I've had in DC. But truthfully, everything here is excellent. From the French style sandwiches to the patisserie.
They got the best baked goods ever and I do recommend giving this place a try. everything here taste amazing and the prices are reasonable too.
Little France. Excellent patisserie
Their croissants are perfect.
Would recommend. Very good pastries. Friendly staff but did mess up our order. Still will definitely go again.
This place is now on my top three places to eat. The baguette is incredible, I mean everything is top quaiy
Ordered pastries to combat a rough day at the office - every one is worth a great review but the most stellar was, no doubt, the Paris Brest Eclair... exquisitely delicious!
Finally a decent boulangerie! Stopped by on opening day-- good coffee and excellent croissants and pain au chocolat... could be in Paris! (Few kinks to work out with timing/service, but that's almost always the case on opening day.)
Quiches were delicious and the bread was also good. Desserts were a bit too sweet for me.
A place that makes you feel you're in Europe with their delicious pastries and hot drinks.
This is a traditional French bakery/cafe run by guys came from the southern part of France, Saint-Tropez. They bake croissants and bread according to their family's recipes. This is the only place in DC to try Christophe's famous Tropezienne, or "La Tarte de Saint-Tropez", a dessert pastry consisting of a filled brioche with fresh berries. Coffee is good, but they also have got a wine list (of course, with French wines!). They serve breakfasts and lunches, and Happy Hours are on a daily basis. A nice space, a minimalist interior design, in a heart of Georgetown.
Delicious breads and pastries. Ordered a vegetable sandwich..both the bread and vegetables were fresh and delicious.
Just wow. Everything is awesome. Will recommend this place to everyone visiting Georgetown.
Good baguettes, wide selection of baked goods
Food was delicious but the prices are high.... Nice to have croissants and sandwiches on the go... Let's not forget the tartes... Yes very good
The bakery is first class and so are the patisseries (pastries). Restaurant is OK, especially if on a beautiful day you get an outside table in the delightful patio.
Their sourdough bread was voted best in the US and I have no doubt it is truly so. Simply the best bread around, got literally addicted to it.
We went 3 times! Breakfast and lunch, wonderful coffee and pastries.
The baked goods are baked fresh each day, but as it is in most of Georgetown --overpriced. There is a terrace in the back where one can take their dog and eat outside and a dining room on the second floor for the Georgetown crowd who "lunch".
I love this bakery! My husband and I dropped in on a random day walk a while back, got baguettes and chocolate croissants and now we find every excuse to come by. Fantastic!
Taste quite good
One of my favorite places in DC, try to go as often as possible, the sourdough and the eclairs are fantastic!
The best boulangerie in DC!
Good enough to present a French boulangerie. Their sandwiches and French bites are recommended. I didn't enjoy the almond croissant & latte.
Great crepes. Definitely a place to visit for breakfast.
Tried their pastries (sweet stuff) several times and never got disappointed. It is a gem in Georgetown!
Very authentic French viennoiseries and desserts! Tastes delicious! They told us everything is baked on premises! I will definitely be back!!!
Nice place for French food but I was expecting cutlery and plates but the plastic utensils and take out boxes when we dining in caught me off guard and that brought it down to 4 stars.
Great pastries and baguettes. Come here for correct croissants with proper feuilleté 😍So many good options and a charming back garden area!!! …
The pastries and breads were exquisite!!
Pastries are delicious! The French toast was pretty good. Limited seating
Excellent food and atmosphere. High prices made worse by a surprise required 20% tip on a party of two. Service was ok but not excellent.
Hands down the best bakery in DC. If you’re from France and you feel homesick just go here. Karim and staff are 5 stars!
I have been told by actual French citizens visiting the US that Boulangerie Christophe is authentic. Everything I have had there is wonderful!
Boulangerie Christophe provides eaters with an unforgettable eating experience that pushes the culinary medium to its limits.
If you are in Georgetown, this coffe place is a must! It has a wide variety of pastries, quiches, croissants and great coffe.
Definitely a wonderful shop. A little more expensive than others, but very good quality.
Great French bakery! My favorite item is the Pasta Bolognese. Absolutely delicious.
Great pastries with nice outdoor seating area.
Fresh-baked melt-in-your-mouth like croissants every morning. Quality food. And Paris-esque ambience.
Cute and delicious.
Classic boulangerie with delightful pastries and bread worth going out of your way for!
Delicious bread, croissant and pain au chocolat. My favorite bakery in town
Food is delicious, but service was horrible. Many other places close by to buy great pastries with exceptional service.
Beautiful pastry, friendly staff and impeccable breads.
2 out of three orders were good. Bread was too hard. Crowded. Dessert looked wonderful.
Had a baguette and croissant. Baguette had a great crunch and croissant was especially buttery
Beautiful little cafe in Georgetown, wonderful staff and great food. Very cute and cozy.
Wonderful croissants and coffee. Very busy so go early.
Like the atmosphere! Mouth watering little pieces. Croissants was good. I will come back.
I highly recommend giving it a try !
fresh delicious pastries and cakes!!!
Amazing place. Bakery is awesome. Great service and a very cute backyard. Very positive experience😊 …
Amazing croissants, but be prepared to wait in line. They are worth it.
Delicious crepe, great coffee. Will come again next time I’m in Georgetown.
Best Breakfast in Georgetown
If you're accustomed to good bakeries outside the US (e.g., Italy, Japan -- heck, even Shanghai), BC will help you survive your stint in the DC culinary non-mecca
It was really good, quiche Lorraine, good coffee. Really nice patio. Excellent choice
Cute French bakery. Reminded me of the ones in France from a trip I took there. I didn't get to try some of there bigger items but they looked so good
Delicious brunch. The upstairs dining room is a small but lovely space. The service was excellent.
Good dessert selections
Best bagels and coffee!!!
Like being in France. Awesome food and staff that go the extra mile. Tip: chill in the patio in the back with a glass of bubbles in the afternoon.
Great attention to food preparation and fresh ingredients in salads. 'Very nice dining areas, with definite french flavor
I love this place. The food is really good. Coffee is good and there is a great variety of bread and pastries.
VERY fresh, great sandwiches, AMAZING desserts! Would recommend to people who like things
Hands down best baguette and croissant in DC. Lovely back garden area as well.
Excellent French Confectionery.
Excellent Coffee Illy!
Delicious!!!!! There is a seating area outside in the back in addition to inside, and there is a restaurant upstairs. Dog friendly.
Exceptional French food and pastries ! I go for breakfast every time I’m in DC!
Awesome pastries and excellent variety. Must go! Don’t miss their chocolate croissants.
Very nice staff and a cool authentic experience. Great coffee and the quiche was incredible.
A little crowded. Friendly staff though. Bare minimum at patio service. No outdoirs heaters. Brrrr
Great customer & service skills. The best bakery in the DMV area.
Great coffee shop with good pastries. Great ambiance.
Only bakery in dc I got to for proper French goodies
Great little place within walking distance of our hotel. Great service. Cute courtyard.
Very beautiful space and delicious food. Stroller friendly on the downstairs area and lovely staff!
Delicious pastries and breakfast. The eggs Benedict is to die for. Great service. Very friendly
You want to eat here.
Hands down the best chocolate croissant I have had on my entire life
Weekend crowded which can leave you without a table. Go on a weekday. Pricey but worth it.
Pricey. Food is delicious, very fresh. Coffee is really good too. Very cozy place.
Favorite bakery in DC. Best French Toast, everything is great.
Enjoyed this little cafe in DC. Found a parking spot on the cross street infront. Was very difficult to find parking In the area in the morning.
Lovely place! Lots of option for pastry and some outdoor seating!
Very good baguettes and perfect place for breakfast. Only drawback is that the espresso is really bad
Like the cakes they bake .. good in taste and presentation
Pastries that are works of art. Nitro coffee to die for!
Delicious pastries like in France! Great sit latte too!
Love this place!
I’m here for the second time already.
They have great bakery and coffee😍 …
Great bread and other french baked goods. Masks and gloves used by all staff.
Good food, very high prices!
A good bakery and coffee house with a nice patio in the back
Friendly cashiers warmed up my apple tartlette which was tasty. Nice for an occasional treat.
The best
It is nice to find a proper French bakery.
I love their pistachio èclair ❤️
Slow service, but food was very good. One of the pricier options for breakfast in the area.
This place has the best quality pastries and excellent bread especially the one with fig and walnut.
Hosted a lunch here. The staff was great, the owner and my husband got along and the food was well prepared
Delicious latte and I highly recommend the salmon baquette. The cheese is super delicious.
Fantastic French bakery! I can wait to go back again. Unfortunately it's too far from Elkridge, MD.
Incredibly delicious. Really authentic French pastries.
Very nice place. Delicious vegetarian sandwich. The baguette is delightful.
Six stars. Seven.
Excellent service, super fresh food I would recommend this place 5 stars
okay, not that great but if you want a quick bit to eat
Awesome selection of potatoes, fast service and nice outdoor area for enjoying
Excellent cafe - pastries are to die for! Made me miss Paris all over again!😍 …
Best place for a sandwich, coffee, or pastry. Service is superb!
Amazing baguettes and the best pain au chocolat in DC.
Finally a good bakery in Georgetown... Too expansive though. Please lower the prices !
Too much goodness to mention. We snuck in in a Monday when the line was shorter.
Real French pastries and bread.... Oh yummmyyyy
Definitely worth the hype. Highly highly highly recommend the raspberry macaron
Delightful and delicious delicacies for discerning dessert-devotees
This is such a lovely place for lunch. High ceilings and a cozy atmosphere make taking a break here such a gem.
Affordable prices, delicious pastries and helpful staff.
Food was late ….
Delicious brunch. We sat outside on the patio and had a wonderful time.
Decent coffee and croissants but i thought expensive
It is fine, it is not exceptional, ma it is wort the dollar you spend...I prefer Paul down the street on M....
Nice coffee shop with good food and pastries
Qaint upstairs dining room. Salmon poached eggs were quite good.
Go for the smoked salmon and french toast! parfait!! 💯 …
Best French bakery / patisserie in DC. Not cheap, but worth it
Just had brunch, all six of us ate it all! Worth the price in Georgetown!
Great bread and pastries.
Being french myself, I can say hands down this is the best baguette, pain au chocolat and croissant in the DC area.
Best croissant I've ever had
Very authentic, and delicious french baguette, croissant, and french pastry.
Quick service.
It’s obvious that they have mastered the Pain Au Chocolat. The finest in the land, it is.
Go get one!
Best beautiful garden to sit in. Delicious pastries and coffee.
Nicoise Salad is sadly lacking! No green beans, no potatoes, and no anchovies! What?? So disappointing!
Great food and friendly service. Amazing pastries
really good bread and pastry!
