We really enjoyed looking around their shop. Variety of items from candy, honey, condiments, fresh butter, deli items and the fresh baked goods. Staff was extremely friendly and pleasant to do business with. My daughter got a free lemon cupcake for her birthday! I'm hoping to get the fresh butter before we head home. We tried so much: black raspberry coffee cake, cinnamon rolls, lemon cupcake, lemon bars, wheat bread and herb bread. All were delicious!

Their lemon bars (just $8 for an 8x8 tray) are made with the same wholesome ingredients I would use. Hit the farmers market across the parking lot for fresh berries if you can. Raspberries amp up the lemon flavor, and Chantilly cream takes the sweetness from the generous coating of powdered sugar down a notch. The perfect early summer dessert. They have some unusual ”pantry" items, like dough enhancer in the refrigerator case. Plus they have King Arthur and some other specialty flours at good prices. A score for serious bread bakers.

I'm glad this place still exists. The baked goods are out of this world. Hand made every day. So good. They have so many other things there in the shop too. I highly recommend taking a visit. Very kind and friendly staff as well. We got the cinnamon rolls and this delightful oatmeal creme pie you see pictured below.

If you like to experience flavor like you never have before, this is where to go. Everything here is magnificent. From the bacon salsa to the zucchini bread and everything in between. From local honey to rolled butter, its here. They also have the finest cinnamon rolls i have ever tasted. The pies, the cakes, the breads, the butter, the sauces, and so much more. I don't give out 5 stars very often but this place absolutely earned it. Its almost like Jesus himself decided to grace this little corner of the world with such delectable delights. Your taste buds will thank you. When you're done here, the farmers market is right in the parking lot. Go grab some of whatever else you may need. Stop reading this review, and go. Now!

Greeted when we entered the store. The staff members were friendly our whole time in the shoppe and made sure to let them know if we needed anything. We loved walking around the shoppe. When you enter the shoppe they have that part but also if you walk down the hallway there is an expansion and there are more goods in there too. They have fresh baked goods – cookies, brownies, pies, etc. They had spices, rubs, flour, sugar, chips, sodas, fudge, juice, handmade soap, crackers, candy, little toys, bags, pancake mixes, teas, jams, jellys, preserves, cookbooks, etc. The bake shoppe also connects to the Heritage Amish Furniture store. Plenty of parking outside and around the shoppe/furniture store. We bought a few items from the bake shoppe and have tried a few and enjoyed them and we plan to go back again soon. I love Amish shops. They are always friendly, stores are clean, and they have GREAT prices.

The smell is so delightful when I walk through the doors from the fresh bread. I enjoy the great service and the environment is warm and cozy. The food is delicious and not pricey. Most items are very reasonable. I like the cinnamon rolls, smoked cheddar cheese and the Cajun crab dip, to name a few. I am not disappointed when I walk through those doors. The owner is very polite along with the rest of the staff.

Looking for a delicious treat? Look no further! The cinnamon rolls are my favorite followed closely behind with their pecan pie and peach pie. I love to pick up the friendship bread as often as I can as it has quickly become a staple in our house. We spend a lot of our Saturday’s at the soccer field nearby and my kids and I always stop in for a treat. The people who work here are patient, kind and attentive! Any questions you have they are quick to answer and with a smile! I can not say enough good things about this great shop!

Wonderful bakery! Delicious baked goods and incredibly friendly service. They also have fresh butter and other refrigerated items! I highly recommend their pies as they are very tasty, good to the last crumb! There is often a line at check out so the store can feel a little cramped at times but it is always worth the wait!

We have been extremely excited about trying the tasty baked goods and desserts at the Heritage Shop..We ordered the chocolate cupcakes and Zucchini Bread. It was the BEST I have ever had. It was moist, tasty and with just the right amount of icing. If they provide birthday cakes, we will be purchasing all of our baked good, jams and honey there from now on. Enjoying their baked goods alone, with milk or just your favorite ice cream is a must have experience.

Great selection of locally sourced preserves and deli items. The baked items are so popular that the pies were all sold out in peak tourist season on a Saturday by 11AM. Staff was helpful. We expect to visit again soon.

Our go-to for anything I don't have the time or know-how to bake. We get our pies here every Thanksgiving, cookies at Christmas to supplement what we make ourselves, and this Easter we picked up hot cross buns that were out of this world! There are delicious baked goods all year round, not just at the holidays, as well as teas, jams, and some bulk food items. If you have time, wander into the back and browse the gorgeous furniture. You can feel the love and peace in this place. ♥️

This is the best kept secret in VB. It's such a quaint, unfussy little place with all kinds of goodies. It also happens to have some of the most beautiful, well-made furniture in the area in the back rooms. I love this place! Stop in for some baked goods, candies, and sandwiches, or shop for all kinds of pasta, specialty flours and baking products. There's also a tiny eatery where you can stop in for lunch. The people are very friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful place. You walk in and this delicious smell hits you and invites you in. It was mine and my boyfriends first time and one of the employees gifted us a free cinnamon roll, it was so kind and literally the best cinnamon roll either of us have ever had. We looked at everything. They have bread, cakes, pies, cinnamon rolls, etc. They have rooms of ingredients you can buy. Prepackaged mixes you can throw together. I am lactose intolerant (i couldnt help but taste the cinnamon roll though) and although i cant have any of the desserts, they did have some bread i could get. I got sourdough, whole wheat, and rye. The sourdough has been my favorite. Its perfect with chili. Will definitely be coming back for more.

More than just a "Bake Shop" this place is like stepping back in time to a place where you can see, feel and taste the quality and care used to make their "wares". The breads are exactly the way they should be. We got the banana bread, which was moist and flavorful but yet it also was light not heavy and gummy like so many I have tried elsewhere. What really sets this place apart from the rest is the staff, they are great and know what they are selling so if you have a question you get an answer not the heming and hawing that you get from someone who hasn't a clue as to what is going on. They also carry a large assortment of baking goods, spices, flour, fresh eggs ect. I found the best molasses for using as a syrup, it's light flavor complements my fresh made biscuits and its light nature didn't pull them apart when I dipped them through the syrup. Again this go to the quality of the goods they carry, oh and the prices are good too. More than at a grocery store but for the quality that you get they are very reasonable.

Loved it. Doesn't get much better than this, and these places are typically few and far between. If you want genuine small farm, responsibly grown and produced farm products, Amish products are about as close as you can reasonably get. Better yet, there is enough local support that a shop owner has opened one of the stores in VB. Highly recommended.

Best pies you're going to get. I bought a pie at Strawberry festival for $20, and was highly disappointed with all four of the strawberries in the pie. I came to Heritage and bought a Strawberry Delight for $16, and the pie had soooo many strawberries it was fantastic. The people are very nice, and there pies are delicious. Pretty much all of their baked goods are well worth the money.

There are so many good items from this bakery. Cinnamon buns with or without the icing, banana nut bread, pumpkin bread, pies, candy, snacks, honey, jam, pickles, etc. They have a small Deli counter where you can purchase sliced meats & cheeses. Everyone is always extremely friendly and helpful. I look forward to coming here each visit.
