When in the south, it is a must visit. They have a wide variety of different flavors. They are all outstanding . A bit pricey but worth it. Pictured are lemon, Java chip, cookies and cream and apple cinnamon.

I have always loved Gigis but hadn’t been in awhile but I went on Christmas Eve last minute to buy a dozen cupcakes . The manager was amazing! She was friendly , helpful and made it such a nice visit on a hectic day. The cupcakes were a hit on Christmas with not one left which is unusual for my nephews who tend not to eat the sweets …but they loved them all . Thank you Gigis :)

We ordered special cupcakes to commemorate a special event. From the Apple Cupcake, S'mores Cupcake to the Peanut butter, they simply were out of this world. The staff here takes their time making cupcakes that are heavenly! The detail that goes into their presentation stays intact when you order delivery. The flavors are top notch, the icing is almost fluffy in consistency, as opposed to the grocery store generic butterconcre... -er buttercream. Last and certainly not least, the cake is moist. It's like pulling them out of the oven, even though Gigi's Cupcakes probably had them ready-made from the night before. Either way, the freshness is there times 1000! I definitely recommend this awesome bakery to you if you're in the Tampa area and need to fulfill a cake, or cupcake need. I can say with certainty I will use them again.

We used Gigi's Cupcakes for our wedding several years ago and it was perfect! They even made us an extremely delicious gluten-free, vegan top cake to go on top of the cupcake tower. Another bonus of doing cupcakes was that we were able to have 4 very different flavors for our guests to try. It looked beautiful, it tasted amazing and the staff were very helpful...AND it was cheaper than even a lower-end wedding cake. A win all around!

OH MY GOD!! The Sweet Tea cupcake is really good!! I called if they had any of those cupcakes left, plus I was asking for flavor recommendations for an upcoming party I am hosting soon. An employee, I think named Chelsea answered and she was so helpful, informative, and so sweet! I couldn't believe when I found out she was a new employee there because she how sophisticated she was!! When I went to go buy my Sweet Tea cupcakes and met Chelsea in person, she was so welcoming and made great conversation. Definitely made my experience at Gigi Cupcakes a worthwhile, and of course, the delicious cupcakes as well! Props to everyone there! Keep up the amazing style of work!! :)))

Love the cupcakes here! They use a good amount of frosting- just how I like my cupcakes! The Kentucky Bourbon is my absolute fave!! But aside from that, the designer worked with me to achieve exactly what I was looking for for my future sister in law's surprise engagement party! I had sent my inspiration photos of cupcakes set up to form the shape of an engagement ring and got exactly what I wanted. My favorite part of the cupcakes were how the “diamond” part sparkled like an actual diamond from the special dusting they used!

Place is so pretty and the cupcakes as well . I bought 4. The strawberries and cream one was dry and not tasteful, the cookie dough was bomb , the chocolate sea salt caramel was good except too much salt it threw whole cupcake off and lastly the raspberry white chocolate one was yummy . A little on pricy side but it was good.. I think the kind of cupcake you pick will determine your experience with the shop

I ordered these cupcakes using Uber Eats...I haven't had cupcakes this delicious and fresh in a while!!! What the item description details is exactly the flavor you get...Creamy, tasty, natural, fresh...I have been looking for a cupcakes shop and have definitely found it. The packaging is beautiful for a gift and the quality of the cupcakes is excellent!! I will be trying every single flavor. So far started with the Spring Tart and I Love it. I will come back and post pictures.

What a great store. I called and ordered 36 cupcakes at 10 a.m today, needing them by 4 p.m I thought for sure they wouldn't be able to accommodate the order on such short notice and was ready to just buy a grocery store cake. However, Sam came through, and I picked up the cupcakes at 3:30 p.m I was waited on by 2 lovely associates Bri and Courtney that were friendly, helpful, and all around awesome. If you need cupcakes, go here, you won't be disappointed. I ordered 3 different flavors; Vanilla, Chocolate and Red Velvet - all were delicious, and beautiful as well. Thanks Gigi's Cupcakes, we will be back again!

The presentation is beautiful but taste is just mediocre. Cake is heavy and dense. I tried the wedding cake and the warm and cozy and their flavors were not memorable...definitely prettier to look at than eat.

Overall, the cupcakes are a hit or miss. Sometimes they are DELICIOUS and other times they are dry. Today, they smelled and tasted old. Like a 5 day old cake made from a boxed mix. Not pleased considering I drove 30 minutes for 1 normal sized cupcake. Also, the point system has changed so now I have to download an app to accrue points. The quality of the product is not worth the hassle to continue to patronize the bakery. I'll go down the street to Wright's Bakery instead. They are similar price wise and have a higher turnover so the cakes are always fresh.

Literally my favorite happy place. I found this place so randomly on Instagram and I am so glad that I did. I live all the way in Brandon but that does not stop me from going as often as I can. Their cupcakes are just incomparable. SO. GOOD. I have had many people try it and they all love it. The place is always clean which is important during COVID times, the staff has always been nice. Only problem is that I’m craving Gigi’s again as I’m writing this 😂 Will be going back very soon :)

I had a hard time chosing which cupcake to try as they all looked delicious. I chose the chocolate salted caramel. The cake was moist and delicious and the frosting was amazing. My friend had the cherry amaretto and she loved it. There were pieces of cherries throughout the cake with a delicious cream cheese frosting. I look forward to going back to try another flavor. They also have minis, so you could try a couple flavors at once.

Amazing experience! The lady at the register was so nice, welcoming and even helped us out when needed. The place was very clean and smelled absolutely delicious. I tried the raspberry, tiramisu and lemon cupcake. They were all so amazing! The cake was moist, they used real fruits, the frosting was soft and creamy and overall it tasted amazing. All the cupcakes in there looked so delicious. Although the tiramisu cupcake tasted more like coffee, I love the flavors. Very welcoming atmosphere. I love it! Would definitely go again.

I gave three stars for the cupcake because it was OK, but nothing really special. Be careful when you go in to order, though. The sign says you can get 12 mini cupcakes for $18, but when you ask for that they tell you it only applies to either vanilla or chocolate - not the specialty cupcakes - which is all they have in the case. No indication of that on the sign, which I found misleading.

Gigi's are good "show-off" cupcakes. They are beautiful and everyone with oooh and aaaah over them. On Fridays they have a gluten free option, which is nice. My only complaint is that I wish they had a little more seating available for those that want to eat-in. And although the cupcakes are beautiful, they have a ton of icing on them. So beware if you are not a fan of them. If you are ordering for a large group, I would find a place that wasn't as pricey. But these are great for smaller orders if you want to impress someone with a pretty cupcake!

Went here for the first time today. The cupcakes are really good and moist. There's different flavors to choose from so I got about 6 for less than $20.00. Very worth it. Compare to other shops like Sprinkles these cupcakes taste fresher and have better flavor. Highly recommend it!! Will definatly come back to the shop on my next visit to town.

Their egg/ham sandwich is really good, and has a spicy spread that makes it moist and flavorful. I've tried their other breads, which taste fresh/soft. Love their iced milk tea (by the register) because they don't put ice in it, so the flavor stays strong. The store is very small and it's popular, so can be tricky holding a tray. Parking is tough on Irving.

Ordered from here off of Uber Eats and not only were the cupcakes fantastic but they were kind enough to add in a buy 5 get 1 free cupcake to the promo that wasn't shown on Uber Eats! It was a Pink Velvet cupcake which aren't really my thing but I don't want to sound like a "Choosing beggar" so it was still a welcome addition to my order!

Delicious cupcakes. I always pick up treats here for my friends birthdays. Purchased mini cupcakes for a bridal shower and they were well liked. Lots of flavors to choose from including gluten free cupcakes.

way too much icing, hardly any cake (and i am an icing lover). also the icing is supposedly 'flavored' but so sweet they just taste like pure plain sugar. i do like the variety of flavors, even if they are light and mild. after discovering they are a franchise it makes sense they are so 'safe' - no fillings or bold flavors. i recommend cutting half of the pile of icing off or take the risk of feeling sugar sick.

I have a fairly big territory for work and I always locate a good cupcake shop in each town so I can grab some treats for my clients - in Tampa, Gigi's is it! They have an enormous variety of cupcakes that changes daily and they taste GREAT! In fact, I'd say it's the best cupcake shop I've found across my entire territory (SW Florida).

I just ate the Miss Princess cupcake, and it was good. My one complaint about the cupcakes is the amount of frosting. I suppose its better to have too much than not enough. I just scraped most (about 2/3) of it off. Very tasty & moist. I'll have to keep track of the cupcakes I would like to try and go back for those when they're available.

I have to be gluten free due to Crohns.. My boss bought me these cupcakes and I don't even like cupcakes. THEY WERE THE BEST CUPCAKES I HAVE EVER EATEN! I'm going back and buy a dozen and freeze them. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!

Absolutely a nightmare dealing with the Tampa store in April with a wedding. Order "lost" over and over, cake topper lost, last minute drama by the OWNER after assuring she was personally taking care of everything. The product was ok, but the work involved getting them to simply do their job was SO not worth it. Good for a stop-in treat, but unless they have radically improved their wedding service - run, don't walk to another cupcake shop for your wedding.

If you have a Bonafide Sweet Tooth Gigi's Cupcakes hit the spot.. absolutely. Everyone I know absolutely loves them however on multiple occasions I've brought in a post of special offers from Facebook or elsewhere where they promoted a special, by so many cupcakes get a few cake pops with it when arriving the employee said oh that was a few days ago posted it's no longer active however when I showed her the date that was just posted a few hours earlier meaning active she said oh well I don't know about that we don't have any cake pops left anyway or the other special of such-and-such Assortment for such amount so they seem to have very little inventory so definitely suggest calling ahead first!

My whole family as well as my friends at work love GIGI'S ! I happened to be on the other end of town once and was closer to Tiny Cakes or whatever it's called, and they weren't terrible, but... Let's just say that after 4 days on the counter I ended up throwing away about 1/3 of the dozen. That's unheard of in my house. Oh well, next time....Back to Gigi's....for life! BTW, just go early or call ahead. Part of the charm is that they make what they make. And that's it for the day. This ain't no Dunkin garbage.
