The carrot cake and red velvet is good…but I wasn’t too happy with my peanut butter fudge brownie, it was very packy.I’m pretty sure the rest of their desserts are worth the try plus this is a cute place.

I'm always looking for donuts when I travel, so this was a natural place to stop for us. We tried these donuts: - Fruity Pebbles - Apple Pie - PB&J They were all good, but not great. I loved the peanut butter, but the jelly was not very good. The apple pie was glazed the best. The fruity pebbles had pretty good flavor. I wouldn't say they're worth the hype of every TV show they say they've been on, but they were good.

Mid July update. CLDEALS website has a $20 for $40 special. Dough is one of 4 deals I bought and today I went and got my $40 worth of tantalizing goodies. Lured me in with chicken and floored me with the desserts. A huge variety of beautiful and decadent desserts that will tame any palate and squash any of those deep dark desires. Must go!!!

Worth ordering from here if your catering! I ordered 90 doughnuts for my wedding, the doughnuts were a hit! They were FRESH and delicious, all of my guests kept asking where I ordered the doughnuts from. As far as service, I received a quick response for my inquiry, I was asked all the important questions and even able to pay for my order at my own convenience since I moved out of FL. Highly recommend if you need catering :)

What a fun selection of desserts?! The team offered us a sample of a brownie when we walked in that was stellar so we ordered that after trying it. We ordered a Banana Cream doughnut, a Cherry Pie doughnut and some cheesecake. The ice cream flavors were unique too. We saw a Bourbon Orange flavor that sounds neat that we may have to wait 'til next time to try.

Looking for a cute sweet treat we stopped at doughs after Dats. We got the carrot cake, red velvet, maple bourbon ice cream, and another cake; name escapes me. Everything was delicious! This place has a cute and unique atmosphere and the staff are very helpful and pleasant! Would go again in a heartbeat. S/N we did go back and got another red velvet. (back to back goodness)

Doughnuts were OK, but not out of the world. Fruity pebble ice cream was OK as well. :) Ended up spending nearly $20 for some mediocre after dinner sweets. I would grab a doughnut if I was nearby, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here (we came from Palm Harbor).

Wanted to like it more. Employee wasn't particularly warm nor welcoming. $5 for small slices of cake. $8 for large slices of cake. Ordered 3 small and 1 large but charged a little extra on 2 of the 3 small slices. $32 for dessert is par for the area? Nice decor and pretty desserts. Just didn't really pan out as hoped.

My wife and I made the trip of from palmetto to come here only to find out that they didn’t have a lot of things in stock, we showed up at 9:30 AM approximately and they said they wouldn’t have any of their great big donuts we’ve heard so much about. Got a cookie icing sandwich instead and it was good, but overall very disappointed

This is the review for their banana toffee cake. It was highly recommended by the employee there. This was the most stale cake I’ve ever paid $10 with tip for. It tasted like it had been outside for 5 days and then they put it in the fridge. DO NOT GET THIS CAKE. UPDATE 11-3-2020: Still 1 star because Dough responded to this review and I emailed them. They never responded back (over a week) and they never wanted to make it right. Whoever is in charge of their marketing, is not doing a great job. UPDATE 11-4-2020: I'm adding 2 stars because they got back to my email. Will add a new review of their other products.

After eating at Datz restaurant next door, I brought my 11 year old daughter here for a real treat. We have been. To places similar to this in the past and I know it's a smile on any kid's face when they see the delectable selection inside. Not on the menu, but they offered to make was a mocha. The syrup was mostly at the bottom but it was not bad overall. I ordered a half covered in chocolate macaroon and my daughter ordered a huge peanut butter brownie which she took. Half home for later. I was surprised with styrofoam plates for customers eating inside. Bit overall a fun place not to miss.

I would say these donuts were pretty tasty! They didn’t taste super fresh. We came a little late in the day so I’m sure if we came earlier in the day it might have been different but overall the atmosphere and donuts were great!

These are by far THE BEST donuts I have ever had... from the flavors, to the soft, perfect texture to the icing... AMAZING!! We will make the drive from Lakewood Ranch again and again... No doubt!

Very cute and quaint. The decor has a nice indie and unique feel to it. The staff was also nice. We ordered a butterbeer latte and bacon latte. Both were great! My bacon latte even had bacon bits on the bottom! We also got their signature creme brulee doughnut with Boston cream filling, fruity pebble doughnut, and a sausage pretzel. Everything was amazing! P.S. you should really try the creme brulee doughnut!

We live in Riverview and made a special trip just for these AMAZING doughnuts & cupcakes. My husband is a huge Star Wars fan. This was so awesome to surprise my husband & son with such yummy detailed goodness! The Yoda was my favorite with a pistachio filling. Can't wait to see what they come up with on May the Fourth next year! A++

UH, this place doesn’t deserve anything less than 5 stars. I bought 1 donut, 1 cupcake and some cake pops and macarons yesterday and I kid you not I ate them all and don’t regret it a bit because it was worth it. They have so many options and it’s the best pastry place I’ve visited tbh. I would definitely come back & refer to friends. A bit pricy but worth every dollar lmao.

This place is awesome. I went to get a donut after stuffing my face at Datz, and ended up getting a donut come with PBJ, Madagascar vanilla, and Galaxy ice cream... Heaven. The selection of donuts is huge and mouth watering too. I wish I could have bought the entire place out!

I can't rave enough about the Sweet Pig. Vanilla cake donut with maple icing and chopped up bacon as a topping. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch one was great too. I might have to try some of the others or even their donut sundae next time around. Great place to bring a kid too. They have a "make your own" donut selection that was really fun for her to make decisions from to have her donut custom made.

This place is awesome. We always like to hit up a city’s best donut shop and forgot we had been here before. The actual donuts are so good and soft. The toppings were incredible. We didn’t have it in us to try the donut ice cream cone but it looks decadent. Worth the trip.

Pros: This place makes some of the best gourmet donuts I've ever had. I highly recommend their fruit pie donuts, especially their apple pie donuts. Their gelato is also amazing and they have a very wide range of dessert options. The service staff is friendly and a delight to talk to compared to the service staff at the attached restaurant (same management, and another negative review for that) Cons: They share the same tiny parking lot that is half the size of a Starbucks parking lot, while being a "world-famous" place featured on food channels. They will often sell you stale donuts, not tell you they're stale, and charge full price for them, something even your average bakery won't do. They also need a line between the tourists that spend 10 minutes just standing in line "oohing" and "ahhing" over every item they have, and a line for people who know exactly what they want. Every time their is a line there it's because it has people in the front asking what every single item in the store is. If you're going during peak hours, expect to not get a parking spot, or park on a side street, because they have probably 12-15 spots total they share with the restaurant that are filled on a bad day.

First visit there. Although not what I would consider a traditional bakery, it was almost like a trip back to the 50s. In addition to exceptional-sounding cakes (mojito?) they also have home-made ice cream, an abundant coffee and tea collection with a variety of additions. In short, I loved the place! Another double espresso? Yes, please!!

This place is like a candy shop for adults and kids alike, and we really love how they are open late, and still the kind of place that will let you in with 3 minutes before closing and tell you to take your time picking out your Donuts. You can taste the fresh ingredients in the Donuts, you can tell they are not some pre-made half-baked dough rolls, they are genuine deep fried Donuts, and worth every penny, and they are surprisingly inexpensive! $1.50 for a Donut is only .40 cents more than Dunkin Donuts but it's the real deal! I highly recommend taking the family out for a sweet treat to Dough, or just secretly stop there on your way home from work and throw out the evidence lol but it's a great place, great atmosphere, and really great treats!!! 2 thumbs up and 10 pounds heavier lol but totally worth it!

I went late on Wednesday with my son and his friends to celebrate his 20th b-day. Environment was a bit "low energy" which i guess is okay. Staff was nice. Cake was ok but better when it reached room temperature. A little pricey at around $8/slice.

First time here! I was craving something sweet and decided to finally try this place! I ordered three donuts a recee cup donut, an Oreo donut and what I was told was a cream-filled stick with bacon on top, which was highly recommended. First I tried the Reese's cup donut, it was good, more of a cake like texture, with crumbled Reese's on top and I believe a peanut butter frosting. The second donut was a filled stick with the bacon on top, at first by It was very sweet. I expected cream because that's what I was told, but it seemed more like a custard texture which I do not like custard in my donuts, It was good but I don't see how anyone could eat a whole one of those it's way too sweet and just taste like too much sugar, a very heavy donut. The Oreo one was good again, The customer service was excellent. The place was cute and had a cool vibe.If I was raising the food I got it would have been a three stars but because of the great service and hip vibe I gave it a four stars. I will definitely go back to try the ice cream and to see how their coffee is. The person working did give me a sample of the ice cream which did taste amazing so next time I'm going to try that. For my overall taste the donuts are a little heavy and too sweet, but definitely worth a try and it's some great looking cookies as well and ice cream that I tried was amazing and made in the store.

We have been here a couple times, the first time was pre-covid and no complaints. But now as of our last trip (Friday evening around 8pm), I am really disappointed. The staff decided that Friday right before the rush was a good time to clean all the cases. You know when your rush is coming, so maybe dont clean right as that's happening? We walked in to find no dessert options in the cases, and as we were about to walk out an employee finally greeted us, albeit less than cheerfully. When my husband said it looks like youre out of everything they said they were cleaning, but when you have no menu how are we supposed to know what we want? We each ordered a brownie and left feeling irritated that we drove an hour for dessert just to feel lost in the restaurant. We probably won't be returning anytime soon, not sure if management changed or what but disappointing. According to many other reviews, the friendliness has been an issue time and time again with this place in the last few months. Time for a change!

soo good!!! there is so much to try, but i personally cannot get enough of their buttercream brownies. I am here so often it's embarrassing lol. I can't eat dessert from anywhere else now, Dough has us spoiled. the desserts are huge so the value for the price is incredible. their ice cream is always great and they have such creative flavors. i've never met an unfriendly worker and they're always quick to assist. i can't recommend this place enough!

Definitely a cute place with a lot of potential but the quality of the food leaves more to be desired. I expect better for the Datz-level pricing. Doughnuts have rarely tasted fresh, with hard frosting and dry dough. Good stop-in from out of town, but residents know to stay clear.

I really enjoyed Dough! I tried the maple bacon and creme brulee donut as well as the fruity pebble rice crispy treat. The bacon donut as excellent, bacon was perfectly crispy unlike other bacon donuts I've had. The creme brulee was a tad too sweet for me, but you can expect that when it's topped with caramelized sugar! I'd skip the rice crispy, nothing special.

My husband and I decided to try the donuts here. We've been fans of Datz for years. Dough did not disappoint. It's very cute inside and there are a few places to sit. We couldn't decide on which donut to get so we ordered a half dozen. I was surprised that including a tip it was just over $7. The old fashioned sour cream was fantastic. I haven't tried any of the others yet. But I know we'll be coming back.

Love this place! The art/paint is so cute, really quirky and fun atmosphere for a dessert that's worth your year's calories and sugar. Desserts are great and they always have seasonal desserts and drinks. Every dessert I've ever had there is pretty large!

I cannot say enough good things about Dough. I recently moved to Tampa and when choosing our apartment we kept in mind it's proximity to this place after visiting from NY. I fall in love each time I come here. I always tell people it's my happy place. The decor alone makes me smile ear to ear. If someone tells me they haven't been to Dough, I take them to Dough. If someone tells me they've been to Dough and loved it, I bring them to Dough. If someone tells me they've been to Dough and didn't like it, I tell them they must be referring to the wrong dough and then I bring them to Dough! The donuts are incredible, the salted chocolate chip cookies are to die for, and the lattes are the best I've had in any state. The prices are spot on for the quality and if you want something cheaper than dunkin donuts isn't too far but you'd be cheating yourself out of an experience that is wonderful, delicious and unique to only this one place. You deserve Dough. Edit: My one complaint as of late is freshness. I've had a not so fresh French toast donut the other day and then my salted chocolate chip cookies weren't moist as usual yesterday... consistency is key and that's been missing this past week

Had the praline ice cream and guava soft service. Service was great. Low-key, yet attentive. Decor and vibe works. Pink and gold walls with a cloud mural and plastic chandeliers? Somehow it seems completely normal. Great spot for donuts and other sweets. Staff seem well-treated.. not chaotic at all.

I recently ordered an assorted dozen cupcakes with custom printed decorations to surprise my girlfriend for her birthday. I called the order in a few days ahead of time, and I planned on picking them up on Saturday after dinner at Datz. When we went in, they weren't made yet. It turned out they had confused the order, and thought I was picking it up Sunday. I was pretty bummed about the surprise being ruined, but they offered to make them first thing in the morning and deliver them to us at home, free of charge. They also gave us a few goodies that night on the house. The cupcakes were delivered the next morning as promised, and it ended up a better surprise than I could have planned. They looked stellar, and are ridiculously delicious. The management went far above and beyond what they had to do to make it right, and totally saved the day. This was not going to be a cheap order - that shows how much they care about making their customers happy. Bravo Dough, you've got many customers for life from this one experience. I can't thank you enough!

Good, not great. Parking is a nightmare. If you're planning to come here from a distance, maybe reconsider. You might have a better locally owned donut shop by you. I MUCH prefer St. Pete Bagels. I had a piece of Snickers Pie, and my kids had cake pops.

Now, my favorite donut place has always been this place in Atlanta... but I figured I'd give Datz a try. Wow! I had just a regular donut with chocolate glaze on top - the first bite was fluffy and just melted into my mouth. I called my sister right away and told her I was bringing her some on my next trip home. I also had an iced Americano - the espresso has a great taste to it. Employees were friendly and efficient. They have a lot of cool gifts too. I will definitely be back.

"Some of the most expensive but divinely delicious delectables in Tampa." You will be pleased in what you eventually decide to order from this funky and fun place but bring your wallet. The service is excellent and supported by young, smiling faces. The assortment of goodies is plentiful and there is plenty of refreshment choices to accompany your dessert - whether it's milk, coffee, tea, juice or water. There were four of us during this trip on Saturday and we took our goodies to a table and enjoyed some quality conversation during our indulgence. It's a good place to sample quality desserts and some that you will likely not finish and have to get a "to go" box for home.

Stopped through Tampa on vacation and stumbled on this spot. So glad I did! Reminds me of my favorite donut shop back home. LARGE donuts make for a great value! Coffee was excellent too. Not to be missed: bacon maple donut - their version has a vanilla custard in the middle which took the classic combo to the next level!! The rest of the donuts we tried were equally awesome, but seriously, the maple bacon... must try! See you next time we come this way!

I am not into the trend in doughnuts where everything from fruity pebbles to bacon and beyond is put on it. So we purchased 2 rather simple doughnuts today and both were only average. The filling were bland and the doughnut kinda chewy. The staff was excellent and very friendly and helpful.

The environment is fun & whimsical. For me, the coffee is a bit strong like Starbucks, yet they made an effort to find a drink I would like. I recommend the Butterbeer Latte, that was tasty. The cupcakes are good; I recommend letting it thaw before eating it. And the donuts would be best right after being made. I had one in the evening and it tasted like a Dunkin Donuts donut, average. Disappointed Wanted to try because of the hype and good reviews. The place is nice but the food is just meh. Tried a donut, cookie, croissant, and a cupcake, nothing memorable that I would go back for. Guess it would make for a good experience if you stay and eat there but for takeout the food just doesn’t impress.

LOVE this place!!! Melissa was so friendly and helpful! She made our time there so nice! My hubby and I enjoyed yummy coffee drinks along with their fantastic sugary donut holes, and we brought some macaroons home too! The salted carmel macaroons are TO DIE FOR! Such a cute & comfy place with great pastry/bakery items and good coffee AND amazing staff! We stayed and worked on our laptop and iPad for awhile because it was such a comfy place! Dough is the best! We will be back!

Why would you refrigerate your donuts? That defeats the whole purpose. I drove 15 minutes to get here from my hotel. If you come here look for the donuts that are on the cooling trays. I wanted to try their glazed donuts but they had already been refrigerated. Augh The non flavored coffee is much better than their flavored coffee.

This is a lovely dessert shop with a friendly crew. Reed (sorry if I spelled it wrong) at the front counter was a darling, and his customer service solidified a second visit. I have eaten their desserts on multiple occasions and am impressed every time.

Stopped in for a cup of Americano decaf. Great flavor on he coffee and perfect temperature. Service was fast, friendly, courteous and professional. The interior space is perfect to grab a cup of coffee, sit chat and just relax and if you are having a craving the doughnuts and pastries should satisfy that urge. I did not sample their bakery items but they sure did look delicious. Very unique combinations of doughnut toppings that were certainly appealing to the eye.

This is one of my favorite spots for coffee as they have a ton of flavors and combinations. They use a rich espresso for their lattes but it doesn't overwhelm any additional flavors that you might add. They also have almond and coconut milk for those who are dairy free. I love the Nutella latte, if you order it iced I recommend asking the barista to mix the Nutella into the espresso shots before adding milk or ice as Nutella will not mix in once the shots have cooled down.

One of the only nice bakeries in town. There are some good things and some bad things about this place. Pros are the pastries are very good, and some of them are fairly priced (mostly the doughnuts), they have a decent selection of coffee, pastries and ice cream, and the employees are usually very kind. Cons are some things are extremely overpriced, cupcakes are very expensive 5$ each, other various pastries and handmade candies are as well. There was also a small chocolate bar that was 9$ (ARE YOU KIDDING ME?) I noticed most of their candy was expired because they probably don't sell it much cause its so pricey. Coffee is about par with starbucks prices, but the Americano is very cheap..BUT I wouldn't even recommend getting coffee here because its so weak its basically water. If you go later in the day theres also a good chance that the pastries might be very stale. There was a brownie that was so stale that the icing on top had hardened to the point that you couldn't even scrape it off.\ Over all, bad coffee, yummy doughnuts, some cheap, some not. My recommendation is stick with the doughnuts, theyre gooood and cheap. And while youre at it go get lunch next door at Datz, they have good food and interesting selections.

Ignore everything but the gelato. I've been going here for over a year and have never been thrilled with the baked goods. Chocolate is good but overpriced, I'd rather buy Lindt or Godiva for that price. But the gelato is AWESOME. And they never mind when we want to try ALL the fun adventure flavors ("pickle," "popcorn," "pumpkin pie") and then we just order strawberry lol. Gelato is fun and it's close to bay to bay for a nice walk. Nice date spot.

Went in during the week after lunch time, so it was pretty quiet. Service was good. Donuts were tasty as well. Dough is similar to Dunkin’ Donuts dough, but the flavors were really good. Kids and adults enjoyed the donuts; especially cookies snd cram and strawberry.

Had a towering monument to diabetes that was a donut cone....thing. It was fan-friggin-tastic. Had truffles there before and they were first rate as well. This would go well for a Datz and Dough combo evening, donuts are fresh and some of the best in Tampa. You may see some bad reviews because of the parking so let me just get this out of the way: the parking sucks. Like, really sucks. But, welcome to South Tampa, no sprawl in the old neighborhoods, so just deal with it. It's not Dough's fault.

Love Dough! My boys and I frequently come here for an after school treat. There is so much variety to choose from. They have doughnuts, cookies, cupcakes, cake pops, macaroons, pie slices, candy, ice cream, and on and on. My kids still have things on "the list" they want to try after many visits. Victoria behind the counter is SO sweet (and infinitely patient!) while they repeatedly make up and then change their minds! Highly recommend.
