An incredible local gem. It’s a bakery and confectionery that sells all the good old Caribbean Spanish food. Pastelillitos, Empanadas, Quesitos, bizcochos, sandwiches, and more. They have expanded the locale recently and this has allowed for a much better customer flow as they are a high volume bakery. Place is clean and bright and full of color. Good service and great food. Do yourself a favor and get a breakfast sandwich if you can.

In the mood for Cuban pastries, and finger food. Went to Angelito's authentic Cuban bakery. The place was clean, neat, and all the attendants looked professional, and catered to your needs. A lot to choose from. Everything looked fresh. i ordered a Cuban sandwich made to order. A Masterva a mate like-tea soft drink, cold. Ordered guava pastries, cheese pastries, and guava/ cheese patties. Everything was delicious, yummy, tender in texture, and tasty. They offer a variety of pastries, breads, sandwiches, fruit shakes, soft drinks, and definitely cafe or coffee with milk or however you want it. I'll definitely comeback. There's so many Cuban delicacies to choose from.

My Mom immigrated to Chicago from Cuba in the 60s. I grew up eating cuban pastries and snacks like the ones sold at Angelitos. Any time someone visited Miami they were sure to bring back some pastelitos as Miami sat on the throne of Cuban baked goods. In my opinion, Angelitos in Tampa now sits atop the throne. I drive 40 minutes each way to get croquetas, empanadas, papa rellena, pastelitos de queso y guayaba, pastelitos de carne, and capuchinos. The food from this bakery reminds me so much of my late Abuela. There's really nothing you can order here that will disappoint you. I've tried just about everything except for the sandwiches. Their coffee is fantastic. Their prices are extremely reasonable. There is always a line here no matter what time I stop by. The staff is helpful but they are direct to keep the line moving. I always visit Angelitos whenever I visit Tampa or St. Pete. I can't wait to come back so I can visit this bakery again.

Great place! Been coming here since 2019 and I am very pleased everytime. Cafe con Leche with a guava pastry and jamon croquetas are my go to! Media noche is a great breakfast sandwich. Give it a shot won't be disappointed

First time here and the pastries were as fresh as I've ever tasted. fantastic Cuban sandwiches also. This place was packed with locals but they had several staff members to accommodate everyone quickly. The prices were very reasonable and there was a very large variety of pastries to choose from. If you're looking for these types of pastries and Cuban sandwiches I would highly suggest you give this place a try

I have been going to this place for like 5 years now and always meet my expectations. I brought a big cake to my work place none of them are hispanic so they never tried something like it and they loved it, some of the went there to get one for their families. The place is small but is a to go place which make it the right size. The location is really good and easy to find. Clean place and the staff are very friendly and have knowledge about the products. The quality is very high. I love this Bakery is my favorite in Tampa. The breakfast OMG what can i say that coffee is AMAZING and the toast are delicious. Best Cuban breakfast you can get in Tampa Florida. Super mega highly recommended to any nationality person anyone will love this place is the best.

Ordered a tres leches cake for a birthday. It we out of the Ballpark wonderful. Pricey 72.00 for a1/4 sheet. But truly a hit amongst guest. Also ordered cuban sandwiches. Had I known they're using Italian bread for Cubans I would not have gotten them. Dry, bland & the bread overpowered the meat. Disappointed on the sandwiches.Someone picked the order up for me otherwise I would have had them remade. I am getting another order for a birthday. Hopefully it's good as the cake. I'd recommend this place & will give it another shot.. Although they did not make me feel welcomed. Perhaps the ladies were having a bad day... Blessings to your establishment Sir.

I purchased 2 different cakes from this bakery, one was chocolate marble priced at about $35.00 and a pineapple flavored cake for about $26.00. The cakes tasted okay for spending over $75.00. The customer service is okay, and there are definitely areas they need to fix. For example I am not Hispanic and do not speak Spanish, and most of the worker's did not speak/understand English. I'm not against only speaking your native language, but if you're running a business in America you should have a couple worker's who can actually take care of the Non Spanish speakers, so it is not difficult for your English speaking customers to receive service. I saw the owner likes to read and comment on the reviews, so I am hoping he takes this as constructive criticism.

Excellent cakes and desserts but the sandwiches not so much. I had a good customer service experience. I ordered the chorizo, egg, and cheese sandwich but I wasn't impressed. The flan and the cake I got were very tasty, I would definitely revisit for the desserts.

Perfect bakery we needed for our visit to Tampa. Grew up in Miami and moved away. Was so excited to visit and was not disappointed. Delicious and great service. The ladies that were working every time we visited were friendly and fast. We were in Tampa six days and were here four of those days. Definitely come and enjoy all of their delicious pastelitos and croquetas.

First time I was there was this past Friday. Pastries were amazing. Apparently, I’m the outlier, I am vaccinated and went into the bakery without a mask and no one said a word to me about it. There’s a sign outside that says, if you are vaccinated, you do not need to wear a mask. So I have no complaints. Customer service was EXCELLENT and food was AMAZING!!

The staff have always been very friendly, always offering me ideas on how to pack my purchases for the trip. I would love for Angelitos's at la Caridad to expand to other states. Pretty good just like a normal Spanish bakery very small very good coffee and they have really good butter Cuban bread that is already baked into the Cuban bread. The only thing I don't like is that they do not accept EBT. Especially during times like this when people are very very short on money it would be a lot nicer to know that they give that option to people who are in very bad situations who would like to enjoy pastries and such that are much better than just eating junk food all day long or whenever you want something sweet or something different that you would be able to go and purchase items like that but in this case you cannot. It would be nice to know that they give people who have EBT that option. But with that instead it would have gotten in five stars but I just think that they should widen their range to other clientele. Fast service didn't take long to get food they do not have milkshakes BTW in case people go to Spanish bakeries a lot of them do serve milkshakes but they do not. All in all it's just a very small bakery very good variety but I think it would be beneficial if they did offer that for low income families who do enjoy Spanish pastries.

Delicious !!! Great selection of Latin pastries, sandwiches, etc. Friendly staff makes you feel welcomed and part of the family. They appreciate good manners and patience but If you are in a hurry I would recommend ordering ahead to avoid prolonged waiting times. Especially during rush hours. I catered a couple of weddings and anniversaries and used some of their products to everyone's delight. Will continue doing business with them.

I live in St Pete and a co-worker brought in some pastry from your shop. The best pastry, flaky layers I have ever had. Forget that the shop is Cuban or Spanish, better than a 5 star restaurant in Paris. I am taking a trip over to get some more!!! I read a review that they were expensive. The pastry was the same price as Winn Dixie and their pastry is spongy and not very well done. My opinion is that they are excellent in quality and very cheap considering.

Came to this place twice during my visit. First time the parking lot was too packed and I couldn't find a space. Second day I had much better luck. Absolutely great variety! Expectations met for sure! I had a different assortment of cakes, cookies and empanadas. Hard to find authentic Cuban foods where I live. When I come back to Tampa I am definitely visiting again.

Stopped in to kill time a few days ago and left with a few tirnovers and empanadas - fantastic ham and chorizo empanadas! I do not typically enjoy sweets and the turnovers were amazing! Not too sweet, not overly dry, the perfect amount of fillings. And to top it off, the prices are so reasonable! Definitely worth checking out.

The food is delicious and reasonably priced. It tends to get busy sometimes, but luckily there are several attendants so the wait is no longer than 5 to 7 minutes for service. I normally eat the minichorris, croquetas, and caffe con leche.

I order four custom fish cakes for my son's 6th birthday. They did an amazing job. The are very nice and helpful, but beware it is super busy in there, so if you are rushed an in an hurry, recommend coming back. I will be going there for all my bakery needs.

In terms of Cuban bakeries in Tampa, probably my favorite. The pastries are pretty fresh and flavorful. Flavorful is the most important part as to my experience, Cuban bakeries in Tampa are full of choices in pastries, but the patisseries lack in flavor. Not this bakery, great beef pastries, chorizo pastries, quesitos, guava flaky pastry and many other ones. Sandwiches are huge. They are not the best, but not bad. Service was very good and very consistent. Will return!!

I have been going to this place for 10+ years and it never fails with friendly service and delicious food!! Their bakery items, words cannot express the level of deliciousness and flavor every item carries. And cafe con leche? No one makes it as good as they do!! I live in St Pete now, so when I'm in that area, I order a whole bunch of stuff, or simply ask my dad to get me stuff (he works down the street) for my husband and I to eat when we visit. If you need recommendations: mini chori, meat pies, empanada sandwich, and guava and cheese bread. Go. You won't be disappointed.

I love that I can walk in, buy trays of prepared Cuban sandwiches and ham croquettas and be on my way. The staff are always so friendly and patient when I cant remember what the Spanish word for "pressed" is (they always smile and remind me it's "a la plancha"). I will always come back to La Caridad.

If you are a fan of Spanish food and pastries this is the place for you. Guava pastries and bread, cookies, stuffed potatoes, you name it they have it. They have meat pastries and guava pastries in big packs for parties. If you need a cake they make delicious cakes that can be customized for any occasion. My favorite is the white cake with either pineapple or rasberry filling.

Finally, we do not have to drive to Miami to enjoy great cuban coffee, cafe con leche, or freshly baked goods. I love the Napoleons (senoritas) made with real sweet custard, my favorite cake is the cappuchino and fruit cake. It does not just look good, but the taste is excellent with lots of moist cake inside. I definitely recommend this bakery!
