This place never fails to impress. We have been here several times. Today, we stopped in for a coffee and to grab a few macaroons to go. We ordered a Large French Press was easily 3 tall cups of coffee. They have regular cream as well as Almond and Oat milk for dairy alternatives. The coffee was great and the macaroons are always amazing. They have lots of other pastries as well. We will definitely be back here again.

Quite literally the chef's kiss! We have so much love for this downtown pastry shop and Sioux Falls is lucky to have it! Chris and his team are so talented. We had the most adorable macarons at our event and guests raved about them. Highly recommend for your dessert needs (or pop in for a latte, their space is beautiful!)

I can always find something gluten free here and when all I'm in the mood for a sweet treat, the macarons are the best! My out of state family always hopes I will bring them some when I come visit. Today I went in for the Chicken Bacon Ranch Quiche and husband got the Brioche Au Caramel. We were both very happy with our choices and as always, we intend to go back!

The dessert (Pecan Caramel Upsidedown Tart) was delicious and so was the single espresso. The associate was efficient and hospitable. I'll be back to try another dessert next time.

Got a chocolate croissant and a chocolate dream petit gateau. The chocolate croissant was so good, however messy, that there are no pictures. It wasn't the best I've had but maybe I'm just a simpler person. The same praise cannot be said for the chocolate dream. It is simply not my cup of tea. This little cake is $7. For the splurge, I figured it would be worth it. I even got a fresh one that hadn't even been put in the case yet because I got there before 11. They were still making them. I have been waiting to try this cake all day after dreaming of how good it must be! The coating on the cake tastes no different than Hershey's syrup. The chocolate mouse is just blah and also bitter. The center is like a Hershey flavored extra milk chocolate truffle and as you guessed, I think it tastes bitter. Almost cocoa powder flavor. The cake on the bottom is the thinnest, driest, most flavorless piece of cake I think I've ever had. I am led to believe either my taste buds are cheap or something went terribly wrong while it was being made. I may come back next vacation for a chocolate croissant, but it won't be a priority. Oh well.

Amazing! I hope that Sioux Fall realizes what a gem this place is. I’m from Colorado and work in patient care. I was telling one of my patients that I was going to Sioux Falls and he that I had to go the CH Patisserie. I went and it is awesome. This place is internationally known. The chocolate almond croissant is soft, gooey and filled with marzipan with a layer of dark chocolate at the bottom. The iced latte hit the spot on a hot summer day. 97 degrees outside in Sioux Falls. The interior is open, clean and chic industrial.

Not being from Sioux Falls I didnt know this place existed. Today was our first trip. The staff was wonderful even though I was ordering for someone on the phone and myself. Everything I have tried from my order has tasted great so far. And everything was GORGEOUS! My girls and I are were all very impressed.

The macaroons were wonderful. Other pasteries sampled by our group were very good. Maybe a touch too sweet but that is of course subjective opinion. The cappuccino my wife felt was bitter. The reason for the 4 stars and not five was the limited variety of pastries available. Their reputation brought visions of large display cases full of wonderful treats. Only to find a nice selection of macaroons but not much else.

It was absolutely phenomenal! I loved the atmosphere and the French cuisine in these precious desserts. Some looked too pretty to eat, but I decided to go ahead and purchase this mousse dessert paired with a vanilla bean macaroon... amazing! You can really taste the authentic vanilla bean in there. No extract! And the mousse was creamy and incredibly chocolatey with a cookie at the bottom to supplement such creaminess... I don't really have any complaints. The staff were friendly and informative for the most part. Would love to return again!

Delicious, unique and beautifully prepared pastries. The type of dessert to be eaten deliberately to experience the flavors (which I'm not good at doing). Service was polite, friendly and helpful. Ambiance was clean and fresh in appearance. A little expensive, but, despite the expense, I thought it was still worth it (it's not like you'll be purchasing a Bentley Continental). Go if you can.

Everything I've ever had here has been delicious - the specialty desserts are rich yet delicate, the croissants are flaky, and the macaroons melt in your mouth. Go for the delectable sweets. I went in wanting a fancy coffee drink but ended up enjoying the food more. Macaroons, little cakes with some intriguing flavors, filled pastries -- it was tough to decide which single item I wanted! Ended up having a croissant filled with strawberries and cheesecake and an iced chai. I had never heard of the brand of chai they use, but I very much liked it. The croissant was pretty, crunchy and flakey outside, soft and well-filled inside, and was delicious! The drink menu is a bit small, but the focus here really is on the sweet treats. Overall, a little pricey but the quality of the food is worth it. I look forward to going here again.

Mom and I stopped there the other day and she bought me the french macaroon assortment for my birthday and they are...were oh so delicious. And while we were there I picked up a double chocolate cookie for my husband and some of their marshmallows for my daughter. I've been here many times before and I keep coming back, mostly for the macaroons, but I have tried their other desserts and I've never been disappointed. This place is a wonderful little shoppe of deliciousness!

As some would say: In the backwaters of America (Hmmmmm). Finding a place like this would be a great treat for anyone. The menu wasn't that expansive but that may be because we were there around 5pm, where most bakeries are selling mostly at the open. But the selection of Macarons was amazing and all of them not soggy like you might find most places. Filling fresh and very aromatic and tasty. The pastries (those that were left) looked absolutely amazing and tasted even better then they looked.

This may well be the best place for dessert I have ever been! The atmosphere was charming, the French press coffee smooth and served with real cream, and the brownie was delicious. Some of my group thought it was a bit expensive, but not more than the experience was well worth. I will definitely be going back when I can get to Sioux Falls! I brought some macarons home, and they were delicious as well.

This is by far my favorite place to go for a quick, indulgent dessert. Every first Friday of the month, they sell their magnificent macarons for 'buy two get one free' after 5pm. And trust me, you'll want even more than that. They change up their flavors every month too, so definitely make this a common stop if you fall in love with something seasonal!

We love CH Patisserie!!! The majority of their macaroons are gluten free (today the exception was a salted pretzel flavor). They usually have a few other GF options besides the macaroons too. Although there is always a possibility of contamination we have never had an issue here with our daughter who has Celiac. As far as the "regular" goodies...amazing! Every. Single. Thing. Love the atmosphere here. Staff are wearing masks with Covid and there are large stickers on the floor promoting social distancing. It is a smaller shop (which I love) so if you don't feel comfortable with Covid they do have some outdoor seating or take the items to go ❤.

Nice place! Coffee caramel macaroon and almond croissant are 5 stars. The strawberry cheesecake is 5 stars for appearance, 4 for flavor, and 3 for price/serving ratio. All other macaroons are 4 stars in flavor. Bought the larger macaroon gift box, which is pretty pricey. Would be nice if a better deal was offered.

I discovered this place through recommendations from my cousins since I stopped by to visit family. I was skeptical at first, but was easily converted once I bit into one of their almond croissants--it was fresh, buttery, and flakey. The staff person who helped us, recommended the lemon meringue croissant and didn't steer us in the wrong direction. We immediately bought what they had left. I have stopped by twice in five days and will most likely make another stop before leaving. Absolutely loved the parties here. The staff here are attentive and answered all of our questions. I am a pastry person, so I wasn't too tempted by the macarons or other desserts even though they were highly recommended by my cousins. To address a few things from the other reviews, that don't change my 5 star rating for the shop, since it's rare to find pastries this well made: - I agree that the coffee isn't too great at least for my particular taste - I get it, that folks can spend less amount on pastries and macarons at other stores or in grocery stores. What you really are getting here is the quality and fresh ingredients that you won't find at other places.

The desserts here are delicious! I however wish there was a bit more room. It gets awkward when you are trying to pick through selections with a line of people waiting behind you. Very clean location and professional staff. The price point may seem high, but the amount of labor that goes into making their desserts proves in the quality/taste.

Love the CH Patisserie and try to get here everytime we're in Sioux Falls! While things are slightly pricey it is understandable due to the effort and passion in every piece created (not to mention the clear use of high quality ingrediants). I would like to see a few more gluten free options but I don't know when I'll get to order one since I can't help but get a Chocolate Dream when I am there. Best thing on the menu in my books! Can't wait til our next trip here. My only real critisim would be the feel of the shop. It is very clean and pretty but I would love for it to feel a little more warm and inviting so when I sit to enjoy my dessert with friends I want to stay and possibly order more.

Stopped by here at the suggestion of a coworker. Bought a croissant and macarons. The macarons were delicious and delicate. But the star of the show was the croissant. I lived in Europe and loved going to France for the cheese, wine, macaron, and of course baguettes and croissants. This place is the best I have had in the US. Outstanding work. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town for work.

Stopped for the first time Saturday afternoon...the macarons and drinks were delightful...a bit pricey but we knew that going in...the only issue I had was the young gal at the counter that put our order together...she seemed almost like a ROBOT, no personally at all...she rushed us thru our order while there was nobody else in line behind us and only a few tables with people...to be honest if I walk in again and she is at the counter I'll turn around n go somewhere else.

This is a truly world class patisserie in Sioux Falls! Macaroons are perfectly crisp on the outside and slightly chewy on the inside. The carrot cake was beautifully moist with all the familiar flavors and spices associated with this classic but with an updated presentation, with a soft, delectable cream cheese outer shell. The turtle cheesecake was also a winner. It was well balanced, both in flavor and texture. An excellent all around pastry shop and one desperately needed in a market like ours, overrun by chain restaurants and RTU food.
