Reviews of Piroshky Piroshky
Corey
Love love love! Everything was so delicious! We got a free tote bag for buying so many pastries. Highly recommend all the savory options! The prices on the pastries were all reasonably priced and the cue line wasn’t too bad. Across from the Pikes Place Market just a little bit further down on the same street.
Robbie Morris
Awesome baked goods. Line moves pretty quick even though it is quite long. Smoked salmon pate was good, not too fishy. Bacon hash brown egg and cheese had a great dough but the filling felt lacking. Oscar’s star was a very tasty sweet pastry.
Lake Kubilius
Delicious! A major tourist destination, so the line can be long and a bit complicated, with the store exit cutting across the people waiting to enter. But it's a very efficient operation, so the line moves quickly. Look at the posted menus while you wait, so you're ready to order as soon as you get to the counter. There are multiple vegan options, with the Impossible Beef and Onion being my personal favorite. The Apple Cinnamon roll is nearly vegan also, but contains honey (no milk or egg).
M
Vegan options! The long line moves super fast thanks to the competent host, counter, and cashier team. Pay attention and know what your order is because you will be amazed at how rapidly you get through to the exit door!!!
4-stars for good vegan options with veggies and Impossible meat. Although we prefer Beyond Meat as a protein alternative because it tastes better and is much less salty.
Pete Drummond
Very cool bakery! We did our own food tour of Pike Place Market and this was one of our last stops. We got the beef/cheese & the Moscow Roll. Both were excellent! The line at this place is so organized which is such a plus for a bakery as busy as this one. Highly recommend!

I don't live in Seattle but whenever I travel close enough to grab some of their awesome baked goods, you better believe I stop and stock up!👍👍👍🙂😋
I have found over the years, the best way to reheat these delicious garlic cheese rolls. It works with the other things too. The chicken rice curry pastry is soooo good, and the method, I'm about to share with you worked great for it too. Start heating your broiler....then pass your cheese bread, quickly through water from the tap. Shake off excess and then put the roll back in the paper bag they give it to you in at Piroshky Piroshky. Microwave 50 seconds. (Maybe your microwave is different , just be sure not to over heat it. You want it soft.)Then pop it in to broiler to crisp the top back up. You can skip the broiler if you want but I love the crispy and soft chewy texture. It almost taste like you just bought them.
Long lines but I promise you it's worth the wait.👍👍👍👍
I hope this place can keep this place going for another 30+ years. I would be sad to not have their wonderful tasties anymore.
Robert Zheng
Worth trying, would recommend.
Worth the short wait, roughly 10-15mins. It's a tourist destination so the price is very high, but the taste and quality is quite good.
Salmon is nice and creamy, lots of umami, not too salty. Bread is not too dense.
Beef and onion is very very good. Much bigger portion than the salmon, flavours are strong and pastry is delicious. Would recommend this over the salmon.
At $8/piece it ain't cheap, but it tastes good and is a nice snack during the walk.
Jordan Chandler
I am gluten and dairy free, but Piroshky Piroshky is worth the pain. My husband and I have gone every trip we've made to Seattle and have loved it! We were so excited to see they were doing a pop-up in Atlanta at a local brewery and had no trouble meeting the spending minimum (not cheap, but for something we haven't had in a few years it was just going to happen that we go overboard!).
We got all of our goodies today and hoped it would be as good as we remembered and it did not disappoint! Such nostalgia!
Here is to hoping they open up a local brick and mortar 🤞
I feel slightly ill due to my allergies, but would happily do it again.
Vitaliy S
Best Eastern Europe style pastries in Seattle. No the best in North America but best I have ever had on the west coast. Definitely try the salmon with cream cheese and the potatoes and mushrooms.
Aidan Cusa
Not sure what type of food this is but it is very very good! Their savory Piroshky’s are to die for. I recommend the beef and cheese or bacon, egg, cheese, and hash brown for starters. It’s very easy to order and the staff is nice. Very efficient business
Alex Nguyen
Don’t get intimidated by the long line or the very vocal line lady. The line moves pretty fast. And there’s menus outside you can look at before ordering. I got a beef and cheese and my girlfriend got a curry chicken pastry. Both were very good. The beef and cheese almost tasted like a cheeseburger!
Nikhil
Famous little bakery at Pike Place. Frankly, not the best piroshky I ever had. Options can be better. Didn’t like the best seller potato & cheese. It was literally hash browns and cheese in the piroshky. Bland it was. Impossible Beef & Onion was surprisingly tasty, didn’t expect that from impossible meat. Well done on that. Chocolate cream and hazelnut was okay. Super busy on a Sunday and many items were out of stock.
myskoae
Staple bakery within the Pikes Place market. My girlfriend absolutely loves it. They’re extremely consistent with the quality of their food. The line may be intimidating but it is an extremely stream lined process. We had the chicken curry bun and chocolate filled pastry. There’s a multitude of choices that all are delicious and simple.
Apeksha
Tried many types of piroshkis from this place, the best was beef and onion. Least favorites were the salmon and curry chicken rice. They have some good dessert ones too. Heads up there’s always a like to get into the store. But I guess it’s worth the money wait. The staff is fast and friendly.
Helen Hoang
The hype about this place is valid!! The sweetest workers work behind the counters. I got a beef and onion pastry and it was Delicious!!! The line looks long but it isn't that bad because they're efficient. So glad I tried it! (Forgot to take a pic of the food but got some stickers for how cute it is!)
Traditionally Modern Food
If you are visiting Pike place market, this is one must bakery. We visited on a weekday evening so no waiting. Ordered a cheddar garlic roll and a chocolate cream roll, both tasted fresh and best
Brian Sacco
Delicious, get there early as it gets busy. Line moves quick though.
My favorites were: bacon egg & cheese, cardamom, chocolate hazelnut
Verdict - would go back & recommend.
Dana Philips
Definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for something savoury at pike’s. It’s small and compact and quick service. The smoked salmon pate was lovely. If you don’t go in early the lines can get quite long so worth heading in as it opens.
sparrowmedrama
The delicious bakery smells and the line drew us in. The smoked salmon pate and beef and cheese were good. The apple cinnamon roll was a bit of a letdown— dense, apples separated from the bread, and didn’t make me want to keep eating after a bite.
Kanishka Wijesekara (Kanishka)
Like the fact that they have sweet as well as savory options. Only one person at a time will be served despite many people working behind the counter but I see this as a blessing for new customers as it gives more time for us to make a choice.
Lisa E. (Cardigan Queen)
OMG YUMMM.
Wanted to get something a little different to eat for breakfast in Seattle and thought this place looked enticing.
Let me warn you, it’s very busy, so there may be a line outside the tiny shop. But, they have a system! They got us through that line so quickly! I was seriously impressed.
We looked at the menu outside the store while we were in line and determined what we wanted, and we were in and out of the little shop in about four minutes! We had so many delicious things to try - savory pastries with beef and sweet pastries with hazelnut, cream cheese, cardamom…it was AWESOME!
We took our goodies (In a very useful complementary, yellow, Piroshky Piroshky bag we got because we spent more than $50 LOL) down to a seating area at the far end of the market street in front of the big “public market” sign, and enjoyed our brunch at a picnic table under an umbrella!
Ben A (Halfmexicanallfiesta)
The best place to pick up a quick russian pastries. The pastries we got were so delicious and I wish I'd gotten 4 more for home. There is usually a small line bit it goes fast, and the staff at checkout get the ba rolling with the great attitudes.
Lutao L
Great bakery shop and always have long lines during busy hours. Good thing’s that the wait time isn’t too long and the line goes fairly quickly. The pastries we got there were delicious! They were running promotions : second one for less than 1 dollar.
Ger Zhao
Super delicious! An array of savoury and sweet pastries you can grab on the go. The ham savoury pastry is a little salty but nothing a coffee can’t fix from one of the many many many coffee shops in Seattle.
Geetika Pandya
One of the best spots in Pike Place! Each piroshki is amazing - the mushroom and potato are my favourite (I’m vegetarian and appreciate the options they have). The sweet selections are awesome too - the fresh rhubarb is incredible! The lines out the door are testimony to how worth it this place is!
Rahul Manju Goyal
I have been to this spot countless times and I always crave it just more and more. I live on the East Coast but whenever I go out to Seattle, I make sure I visit Piroshky Piroshky for a bite. My absolute favorite Piroshky is their garlic, cheese, and onion Piroshky while most of my family members love the potato and onion Piroshky. Either way, you can get any Piroshky here and I promise you will be satisfied. A must visit spot in Seattle!
Jean J. M.
Everytime we are in Seattle we have to get some piroshky. They have impossible meat n onion, curry chicken pot pie, smoked salmon. Apple pie, rhubarb and hazelnut pie. Long lines but worth the wait. Even when reheated it is still flaky and crispy.
Sonny Ramaswamy
My wife and I ate cheddar/veggie, bacon/egg, and marzipan piroshkys at Piroshky Piroshky across from Pike Place Market. Woohoo. Just perfect.
If you're in the vicinity of Pike Place Market, grab a piroshky or two and partake of the coolness of the flower market, fish market, and of course the Puget Sound. You'll not regret it.
And we saw some cool totems behind Pike Place Market and urban art along 1st Ave
Kim Nguyen
The employee in front totally won me over as I was passing by. Her recommendation was spot on. I got the smoked salmon pate and the beef and cheese pastry! They were super delicious, perfectly crunchy and crispy on the outside and moist and savory on the inside. I for sure will have to get more the next time I’m back in town!
MikeD JR
Organized deli/bakery? It's a nice little shop. Food was good just wish I had tried more varieties. Daughter took us there and if it has a reputation I'm going to say it lived up to it. Very busy for a Sunday afternoon... Likely the norm.
Elizabeth Hadden
The perfect bite for enjoying on the go. Tried their salmon pate savory pastry and it was exceptional. Warm and perfectly flaky.
M Pak
It was a bit salty for my taste, but it was a fun experience. My husband really liked it, and it was useful to buy it before queuing up at the 1st Starbucks so he could eat it while waiting lol
Andy
If you’re looking for sweet or savory treat on Pike Street look for this hidden gems. You will be grateful you did. If you go in the morning come early there will be a line waiting for this deliciousness. This is a great way to start your day!
Amanda
The line is very long for a very good reason! And fret not because, as they said, they’re the fastest line in the market. I had Salmon Tate (fav!) and Potato and Cheese here.
David B. Peel (Peel Law Firm)
Try— and I know it sounds odd— the beef and onion meat pie pastry. It’s awesome.
Everything is wonderful right down to the jams they sell. The smell of fresh baking bread is heavenly.
Sol
Highly recommend this bakery for anyone wanting to try sweet/savory baked breads! My only regret was that I didnt have enough time in Seattle to try more of their foods! Had the Oscar's Star as it seemed like one of the popular sweets. It looked so pretty I didnt want to cut into it but was very good.
Will say the line is big but they have such helpful staff to help it move along quickly that you never have to wait too long....honestly wish more stores would follow their example of efficiency.
Will definitely return when Im back in Seattle!
Sujin Park
Had their best-selling smoked salmon pate; it is shaped like fish and has smoked salmon pate inside.
It was a bit salty for me but I enjoyed the pirochsky. Staffs were friendly and helpful too.
Aryan mobiny (OneOfYou)
Piroshkies were amazing but a little overprices which is understandable. The rest is a matter of personal preference. I liked the smoked salmon piroshky the most because of the smoky creamy taste. The potato and mushroom was the worst one. It was absolutely tasteless which makes me drop one star.
Eri江梨
Located in the pike place market.
Piroshky is Russian pastry filled with meats, but there are many varieties of piroshky there. I got a salmon piroshky. It was delicious and enough volume for breakfast or light meal.
Jordan Lee
Thought this place was just alright. I got the beef & onion and cinnamon cardamom piroshky. The beef & onion one tasted, well, like beef and onion. There was a lot of bread to content ratio so it wasn't really my cup of tea. As for the cinnamon cardamom one, it was like a cinnamon roll without the frosting on top.
I'd maybe come back to try some of the other savory/sweet offerings.
RUTUJA GIRMAL
Super delicious! Worth the wait standing in the queue… I tried the Smoked Salmon Roll and Veggie Chipotle.
Kimise Cherry
I wasn’t impressed. I heard a lady express how amazing it was. Ppl on YouTube raved about it but for me it was just ok. I ate the beef and cheese one which had jalapeños on it. It wasn’t nasty but I would rather a Jamaican Beef patty or a Cuban Empanada.
Olga Tratsevskaya
A little overpriced but definitely worthy to try! As Eastern European I would say that these piroshky has very little in common to the ones that we usually cook. We don’t use chipotle spice or combination of turnkey with cranberry. I can’t also recall my mom making piroshky with salmon.
But why cares when they are so delicious. I tried sweet with rhubarb ($6) and savoury with salmon ($8). Just right proportion of filling and dough. You should go for it!
PS: Line moves fast. Don’t get discouraged:)
Fahad Aqeel
We got there an hour after it opened and the line was ok, but withing minutes line was around the corner. But honestly worth the wait. Some awesome flaky goodness.

Still reminiscing about my Seattle trip because there was just so much food we ate, especially around @pikeplacepublicmarket
At @piroshkypiroshky, a Russian bakery based in Seattle, we tried piroshki for the first time. We played it safe with a potato and cheese one but they have so many flavors from sweet to savory
Mel Fellrath
Very good piroshki! I am a bit biased because I know my way around Russian food. I got the Beef and Onion one. $8 for one, but they are pretty big and filling. The only downside is they are very buttery and greasy, so it will get your hands covered. Also, the employees were very rushed and not the most polite.
Liam Lian
Timelessly delicious with freshness you can smell in the air. Worth the quick queue that is way shorter than the one to go into OG Starbucks.
Josh Wilson
So many great choices to choose from. We
came here on Labor Day Weekend and it
was insane. Line was huge but worth the
wait for sure.
michael buggs
Now this place, please believe me when I tell you it will have your taste buds going crazy, with the different pastries.
Be prepared to stand and wait in a line for this treat, because the line is out the door.
The dough is fresh and hand made on site in full view of the public and if your lucky to indulge your pastry of choice while it is hot.
Mmmm, mmmm, good
Duane Southers
Really good food! There was a long line when we got there but it went fast. I got the salmon pate and my wife got the ham and spinach and we split a cinnamon twist. They were all great.
Anthony Nisivoccia
An absolutely delicious way to start your day! Opens early enough to grab breakfast, and will set the tone of a day eating your way though pike place.
The salmon pate and the apple strudel were delicious, and there were no complaints from anyone else in my group of friends, who bought pastries ranging from ground beef to chocolate.
The place is very small, so there is a zig zag line out front that feeds into the shop, like some of the other shops. They are very strict in wanting you to know what you want by the time you reach the counter. I recommend looking at their menu before arriving, or if there is a long enough line you can use the QR code to check out the menu while waiting.
Split some stuff with your group to enjoy tasting everything!
Mica J
Came in after hearing/reading the hype. It was my first time at Pike Place and this had one of the most highly rated reviews.
Stars came from the entire process. By the time you enter in, you feel rushed to pick which pastry to order. Felt intimated to choose and order right away when there were various choices. I researched on yelp and they have a sign of their top picks but it's different when you see the item in person.
Order the smoked salmon pate. The filling complements the texture of the pastry. The cheddar garlic roll was bland. you can't taste the cheddar or garlic, just salt. Would like to try their sweeter pastries but had to save my stomach for other places at Pike Places.
I would say try it out, I love the story of the bakery and its heritage. Sorry that it didn't pan out to me during my visit.
Brooke López
We had one full day in Seattle before leaving for a cruise and Piroshky Piroshky was one stop we had to make. My boyfriend and I ordered the Smoked Salmon Pate & a Cinnamon Cardamom Braid (not featured). Both were absolutely amazing. I could eat the smoked salmon everyday and I am so sad I can’t get it fresh on the east coast…I need to order some online!
Danika Fullen
I've never had a Piroshky before. I can see why people wait in line. Friendly but efficient staff get you in and out in minutes. Best to know what you want before you get up to order.
Jane Honda
Not good anymore. Too sweet, too salty. Dough is not tasty like it was few years ago. Idk why. Sorry
Bekah Anderson
Was even more amazing than I remembered. The smell of the baked goods carried outside the shop, drawing me in. Highly recommend the cheddar garlic roll, it was heavenly.
Christopher Klaus
Loved the beef and onion, which was nice and flaky. The potato and cheese was a bit on the heavy side. The cinnamon apple was a bit too dry. They gave us a rhubarb, which was better but still not as impressive as the beef and onion. So if you know what to get there are some tasty options.
Haik Dabaghyan
Overall, the hype for the place made my actual experience less enjoyable. The prices for pastries are very high, a result of its location in pike place market. The pastries were not exceptionally fresh or warm. The price was not representative of the food that I received. I would recommend checking out other Eastern European bakeries in the city.
Stanley L
The Apple cinnamon roll is AWESOME.
However, other breads are great but I would not wait in line for them.
The staffs are super friendly and helpful.
A recommended Russian bakery!
Wat Mongkol
Delicious pastries for breakfast. Recommend smoked salmon pate and Marzipan Roll.
Chicken Curry Rice was just ok.
stan yu
Will definitely return again next time! The beef and onion piroshky was so juicy and flavorful! Bread was soft and light. I’m typically not a huge fan of salmon but I loved the salmon pate option as well.
mukund
Got some beef and cheese and beef and onion piroshkys. Always visit this spot when we are at Pike. Tastes good as always. Dropping a star for value. For $8 bucks, the filling to bread ratio is lacking. That’s a picture of the beef and cheese.
Morgan Ulrich
A Pike Place must-have. Delicious and the vegan options are fantastic! I had the potato & mushroom (more plain) and the Chipotle (super flavorful, tasted like meat to me!) Go early in the morning when they open if you want to avoid the very long lines during the day.
Jeremy Hidey
The line was long but moved efficiently. The potato and cheese was surprisingly bland while the beef and cheese was tasty. The prices were a bit high as well.
Jamie Pastuch
I've been making homemade piroshky for about 4 years and was so excited to try restaurant quality. I had sweedish meatballs, salmon, and something mule. They are absolutely amazing! A must try when here!!!
Donna Turner
Amazing Russian pastry store. The apple cinnamon pastry was huge and loaded with apples and cinnamon. The seasonal cherry cream pastry was delicious with sweet cherries and light cream. Great way to start the day.
Mason Aramian
The best pastry shop at pike place hands down. Only downside is the price is a little steep compared to an off the tourist strip shop, but for the location it's just fine. If you are visiting... this really is THE must see and try spot on pike place. I've tried pretty much everything here, and I can say wholeheartedly that you can't go wrong. The savories are tremendous, and the sweets are spectacular. If you haven't been here yet... what are you waiting for?
Krishna B Kidambi
This one of the best places to go for bakery items in the PIKE place market. A must visit place in seattle. It's a small shop, with lot of fresh baked goods right from the hot oven. The staff are very friendly and polite. Coming to what to get: 1. The Orange cream (5/5) sweet a bit tangy - a must get. 2. Apricot Turnover (5/5) This one was fresh out from the oven. Great flavor. 3. Chipotle Piroshky (4/5) This had a good amount of Chipotle flavor, not my favorite though. Make sure you eat them hot or warm. Once they cool down they loose the charm. Overall a great local place.
Linda P
Perfect and quick on-the go breakfast or snack. Conveniently located two doors down from the first Starbucks coffee shop in Pike Place Market. Do yourself a favor and skip the pastries at Starbucks and grab a warm, fresh and homemade pastry from this place. Top recommendations were the salmon pastry or the beef and cheese. I got the beef and cheese for $8 and it was amazing, filling, fresh and so savory. Must try!
Gaurav Hegde
Favorite bakery at Pike place .
My favorite, smoked salmon patty!!
Loved it!!
Priyangi Vashistha
Freshly made pastries. Tried garlic and cheddar roll and Marzipan. Must try when in Seatlle.
Matthew Farrer
Excellent customer service and fantastic food!
We ordered the Beef & Cheese Piroshky and Cheddar Garlic Roll...delicious!
Cindy Liu
I loved this bakery so much I came here twice in the 2 days we were in the area and bought an obscene amount of pastries each time. I didn't take any photos for reasons I cannot explain other than I was too excited to buy and then to eat.
I highly recommend the following: the smoked salmon, the vegan Impossible beef/onion, the vegan potato and mushroom, the regular potato/cheese, the chicken curry rice, and the cinnamon braid. I kind of doubt they have anything I wouldn't like.
Definitely stop by here!!
Ews
The food here is good.. I waited about 10 mins.. the salmon and beef & onion was really good.. the apple cinnamon was decent but i would skip it if i did it again..
Nina Lei
I got the salmon cream cheese one! I love it. I bought one potato one for my friend. It’s not my favorite.
K S
I really enjoyed their food. I had a potato and cheese piroshky, a smoked salmon pate piroshky and sweet one with hazelnut spread. The smoked salmon was excellent, the potato cheese was good as well.
The choco hazelnut cream one was unimpressive, mostly due to the quality of the hazelnut cream. I couldn't taste the hazelnut and the cream was not very sweet either.
Pavithra Kamdadai
Great filled pastries (sweet + Savoury)
I recommend to take one on the go while walking down the pike street
There were some vegetarian and vegan options as well!
Loreal Rodrigues
Absolutley delicious dont get scared off by the line they are so fast and super nice!!!! A must stop if your in the area.
Nery Leach
Great! Loved the meat and onion pastery. Everything we tryed was delicious an FRESH...
Omar Alkhalisi
Super delicious baked goods with a wide variety items. Potato & Cheese is a must!
Yuri Fernandes
It is okay. Salmon was better than beef and cheese. I would stay in the line for maybe 15-20min, not longer than that. They are organize and the line evolves quickly, but again, it is not a must do.
Michelle Matheus
This place was worth the wait. First of all, the staff was super sweet and attentive. They had a woman keep us in line/out of the way of the sidewalk, ensuring we knew where the menu was so we knew what to order, she gave us recommendations on keeping hydrated and wear to buy things, and she did crowd work - keeping us in good spirits. We ended up ordering the potato-cheese piroshky and the cheddar-jalapeno sausage piroshky...I have no regrets. The potato cheese has hash browns and cheese filling in a doughy delicious bread case. The cheddar jalapeno...it was so good, we went back in line again to get it for our plane ride home. Like the sausage was juicy, oozing with delicious cheddar and had that great snap when you bit into it (because good sausage should have a little snap or crunch) in addition to the toasted breading...just *chef's kiss*. 5/5 would recommend to ANYONE!
Alicia Christensen
The line is long, but moves quickly... They're very efficient. The food is just as good as it smells. It was AMAZING! Worth every second of the wait. I only wish I could get it again before I leave Seattle. This is a must try if you're visiting Seattle.
Scott Childress
Smoked salmon pate was a great bite early morning. I was excited for the cinnamon apple but it was just ok.
Jessica “Robin” R-E
Delicious food, service was quick, well-adapted for the times, solid recommendations from the lass who helped me! Everything we tried was delicious. The rhubarb was amazing, and the salmon was a hit. The beef was delicious and had plenty of meat to make a solid meal on it's own. I shared everything with my partner and it made a great little meal. Definitely recommend if you can get in!
Jason Rider
Piroshky Piroshky is a must stop. Delicious and warm. Now they offer Beyond Meat style Piroshky. You cannot just try one. The meat packed ones are a bit on the salty side, however, still delicious. Lines can get long at times, but move quickly.
Tim F
Did not even know this place existed, but I am so glad we stopped. Delicious food! I would highly recommend!
VS
Do not judge this delightful place on its looks from outside or the sizes of their savouries. The taste will leave you craving for more, however you will be full by the time you finish the first item. Deserves more love than the Starbucks next door. There might be a small line but that is handled swiftly as people know what to order as soon as you see the food. Just grab your grub and go sit facing the waterfront and enjoy the views with some pesky birds eyeing your food.
Marinelli McCormick
Very tasty pastries. Highly recommend that you eat it while warm. Very pricey though at $8 each.
Alissa C
Every time I visit Pike Place, I make sure to come here. Super impressed with how efficient (but friendly) they are, so don't let the long lines deter you. Food-wise, this place is one of my favorite pastry shops in Seattle. My favorites are Beef & cheese and salmon paté, which are also the two most common ones. This place is an absolute must if you are visiting!
Ashesh Sharma
This legendary place needs no introduction. Jalapeño and Cheddar cheese sausage is by far the best flavor.
Cat E.S
The pastry is here are absolutely delicious, I didn't try any savory options as I was going for sweet pastries. I will recommend the almond pastry and very highly recommend the pastry puff sticks. Please bring Piroshky to New York City.
Corin Mower Hammond
Soooooo yummy! Definitely worth the stop. We went early and had no line. By the time we were walking back through after exploring Pike's place, the line was over a 30-min wait. Go early! :)
Wendi A
The smoked salmon is really good and a classic, but I actually like the Uli's sausage. I've tried a few of their other ones and they are very hit or miss. They had a Reuben one that was basically inedible. The sweet ones are usually okay, but nowhere near as good as their savory.
Matthew Jackman
The line formed up this little Alleyway and had a strict employee keeping everyone on their feet and the line moving quickly. It was a bit gruff for a first impression but after eating the food I kind of understand. I cannot accurately describe how amazing the food one. I got the chicken curry piroshky and my partner got a beef n cheese piroshky. Both were delicious however his beef n cheese was an absolute knockout. It was so good we came back the next morning to get another one. This time I got the beef n onion one and I can safely say it was THE tastiest thing I had during my time in Seattle.
Charles Wiltgen
simply put, they live up to the hype. and not much compares to a warm, soft piroshky. line is long of course but it moves pretty quick and the staff get you in and out no problem. i wouldn’t pass up getting at least one item here, but probably more then that would be better!
Rebekah Brink
Always amazing! Line moves quick! Beef and cheese and salmon pate were our faves!
Loida
Yummy! We used to get these pastries in Renton and they are so delicious. When they closed, I didn’t think they had other locations. And surprisingly, we hopped in line before it hot pretty crowded and bought several Salmon pastries. Oh wow, they were so much better than I remembered. I pray this place doesn’t close! I’ll be back next time we’re visiting!
Danielle Elliott
One of my favorite places to stop while visiting Seattle. Delicious and the staff is always amazing.
Mike Bennett
Amazing! I recommend the Salmon and the Marzipan. Everything is really good. Just go and try one.

Even if you aren't a vegan, I highly recommend the savory impossible beef and onion. It was so delicious we went every morning and bought more along with the pumpkin toffee braid(unfortunately the pumpkin is seasonal). The potato and cheese and potato and onion are also delicious. We are from the DFW area in TX and Piroskys is coming our way in Dec. so we ordered a couple dozen. If you're in Seattle, check out Piroshky Piroshky, you won't be sorry! Just make sure to get there early and get in line!

Lines were very long but it went by very quickly, i didnt give 5 stars because some of their pasteries are online exclusive and the one i waited in line for was one of them, very disappointed in that but overall my experience was great.
The staff was very kind and helpful, the food is made fresh and the food is warm at pick up.
I got the Oscar star, hazelnut creme twist and the beef and cheese, my friends both got the wrapped sausage link, and my one friend got the spinach and egg.
The Oscar star and hazelnut creme was very sweet but delishes would go great with a coffee, beef and cheese was very good and savory, but I can tell the beef and potatoe would be better but unfortunately that was one of the online exclusive items, I took a bite of the sausage link and it was amazing i was very suprised, my friend Gave me a bite of the spinach and egg it was okay, all I tasted was the spinach I didn't taste any of the egg, but its a nice vegetarian option,I will say they should try putting the spinach in the cheese and beef as well I think it would taste real good.
I unfortunately didn't take any pictures I was so hungry by the time we got the food I wasn't even thinking of taking pictures til after.
Darina Vetra
Quality dough with generous and tasty filling. Rapid service. An employee who steers the fast-moving line, without being asked, cleared a way for the wheelchair and warned us about the sidewalk’s incline.
Mark N
Excellent Russian bakery with sweet and savory.
Lindsay Lundeen
Food? 10/10. Service? 11/10. I brought my Piroshkies(?) into the office and was the envy of my coworkers. The person at the register had great non-Starbucks coffee recommendations. Must go!
Alynn Nguyen
This has been my 4th visit each time I get to visit Seattle. This is like hole in the wall bakery but their savory pastries are so addictive. It’s only located a few doors from Starbucks near Pikes Market.
There is nothing fancy about the front store but their pastries are very wholesome especially the salmon pâté dill bread. You just gotta try them out.
Daniel
This place is as advertised! My wife and I shared the potato and mushroom and it was absolutely delicious!
We went first thing Sunday morning and there was no line. Food was warm and fresh. We will be back!
Kat Pittman
Weve been enjoying Piroshky Piroshky since we first moved to Seattle in 2004. We no longer live in Seattle but we make the trip here everytime. The savory options are the best--potato cheddar is hard to beat. Line moves fast and always handcrafted deliciousness.
Luis De La Vega
Delicious apple cinnamon and potato and mushrooms pierogi.
Alexandra Rice
We stumbled upon this place, and wow, was it tasty! They are so efficient also, and the line moves very fast! Very friendly staff. The Salmon pâté and apple cinnamon roll were out of this world deckhouse!
Darya Shestakova
I was born and raised in Russia, so I know something about Russian cuisine :)
We stopped by this place at around 6pm, so my favorite kinds of savory piroshkies were sold out. But we loved what we've got. Beef and onion piroshky is perfect for a cold winter day, sweet rolls are great with a cup of warming tea. Poppy seeds roll reminded me of my sweet childhood.
Even though there was a line, service was very fast and friendly.
Thank you very much, guys!
Спасибо, всё было вкусно, мы ещё вернёмся, и не раз🙂
Marina Ganshina
Originally born in Russia, I had these as a child on a weekly if not daily basis! I loved all the salty ones (cabbage, sausage, onions). I haven’t been able to visit or get my hands on these since I moved to the US!! I heard of this place from the food network at some point I believe, where they stated it almost tasted like being back home. And they weren’t wrong! They were so delicious, and SO good. Definitely gave me nostalgia and brought me back home :)
The only downfall is I wish they were a little warmer, but I understand they make so many in advance due to the long lines. Even with a long line it went through super quick! We took these and sat by the pier looking at the Ferris wheel. It was such a nice sunny day in Seattle! Perfect day.
Jeff Tong
A fun little bakery with a line. Not the most amazing salmon pate nor beef and cheese but the prices are good. If you're in the area and you haven't been, it's a nice thing to just cross off of your bucket list
Jenn Uhen
I could eat these daily. Such a soft buttery pastry with the delicious fillings. I started with the beef and onion, which was a great choice.
Next time I want to get the apple cinnamon one.
Brad2112Rush
I would of gave it 5 stars if the piroshkys were $5. Instead of the $8 there charging and I'd eat there more because they have always been a tasty way to start the day yes the have pastry too
Noreen
Their piroshkies were very authentic taste and I love it! We ordered beef and onion one, ham, cheese&spinach one, and apple cinnamon roll. I think the beef one was the best. That was very beefy. The cinnamon roll was good too but you’d better to save your stomach more.
Baylee Young
Worth the wait! Lots of sweet and savory pastry options
Zach Gilseth
My friend brought me here raving about how good it was. I’ll agree it was tasty but the hype had me expecting more. So try to go in without the expectation it’s going to be the best bakery.
I ordered the mozzarella, broccoli and mushroom and he ordered the beef. Both were good enough that I’d go back, but I’ll check out some different bakeries before returning.
The staff was friendly and the food was ready right away. If you’re looking for something quick to walk around and eat with this place is perfect to stop in.
Ashleigh M
Line is quick and food is hot and delicious!
duoqisun
Had the potato and cheese, was extremely filling but tasty, friendly family run staff. Perfect quick lunch with a warm and delicious filling.
Michaela O'Neal
I expected a big line since this place is so popular. There was a line but it was moving very quickly, so it’s definitely worth the wait!
Everything we got was delicious. The beef and cheese pastry was mine and my husband’s absolute favorite!
If you wanna tip the employees, make sure to bring cash as you cannot tip them on the card. Although they did say they are rolling it out soon.
Nami N
I came to Pike Place for other purposes, However, I came to a popular Piroshki store because I wanted to eat Piroshki for lunch. There is a menu board and a roped line on the street of the store. So wait for your turn to enter the store. The menu board is a good reference. I chose the best-seller beef & cheese and smoked salmon pate piroshki. I bought that piroshki and went to a scenic patio at Pike Place, where some people were eating lunch as well. The beef and cheese piroshki had a light taste and smoked salmon pate was good. Piroshki was a little lacking in taste or needed something but If you're hungry when you come to Pike Place, it might be a good idea to gaze at the pier while eating piroshki in one hand.
Next time I will try another piroshki.
Andrew Yin
Piroshky Piroshky is probably one of the best places to hit in Seattle'a downtown for a quick and delicious lunch. Located right inside Pike Place Market, there is often a line but it moves extremely quick. They're most known for their delicious salmon pâté piroshky, which has the softest bread and is super flavorful! I recommend grabbing one for lunch and strolling around the market or picking a spot near the waterfront to eat.
As someone who worked fairly close to Pike Place over the summer, this place quickly became a go-to for a casual lunch out since it not only provides a super delicious, fast meal, but also is right in the middle of a bustling location with so much more to do. The only reason I put this place at 4/5 stars is because the quality of the piroshky sometimes will vary each day, and I wasn't a huge fan of the other options that they had. Regardless, this is definitely a must-go in Seattle!
Zac Yeow
This is one very lovely and amazing Russian bread. Had the salmon one and it was delicious. Staff were very friendly and enthusiastic to serve you and you can smell the fragrance of the bread before entering, don't get confused with the queue for Starbucks! Because they are just side by side. Had the apple cinnamon which was huge for one person, but I would come here again for the salmon or try other flavours.
Yandong Li
Very popular Russian bakery place, long line at weekends. To avoid the long waiting time, recommend early morning or before it closes on weekdays. I had the beef cheese and smoked salmon, both are very good! Will try more flavors for sure! They also have the punch card, so every 9th pastry is free.
Karen Zellers
For a while now, I've heard rave reviews about Piroshky Piroshky. So when I entered Pike Place Market and saw the huge line of people being delegated by a Piroshky Piroshky staff member, I bit my lip and got in line.
The good: Piroshky Piroshky is fairly inexpensive. I ordered the Apple Cinnamon piroshky, which was $4. It was big enough that I could have shared it with a friend, which would have brought the cost down further. There is also a lot of variety, including special seasonal flavors.
The bad: Honestly, I was pretty disappointed about the quality of the pastry I received. I didn't expect it to have come right out of the oven, but I was expecting it to be fairly fresh. After all, through the front windows, you can see staff members cutting and preparing dough. When I tried my pastry, it tasted as if it had been made yesterday. Still good, but not particularly fresh. The long line and lack of seating were expected, but also contributed to a negative experience for me.
Jane
Go during the week to avoid long lines...You can see they make it freshly from the window. Salmon pate roll and poppy seed cinnamon. They are very generous in the filling, the salmon pate is filled all the way from top to bottom. The poppy seed cinnamon wasn't very sweet and just a little kick of cinnamon, so is not overpowering the whole thing. Totally worth the wait and money.
Eric Adams
The thought of a salmon pate baked good, didn't sound too appealing...so I'm glad I tried it. Wow!! This was delicious. We also tried the Beef and Cheese, and that too was awesome! I'll be back in town at the end of summer, and will definitely be bringing my friends here
George M
Mark Wiens brought me here and for good reason! Good mix of sweet and savoury snacks, make a point of eating a couple of these treats while in Seattle.
Heliana Mano
Amazing pastries. So soft and delicious! Lines were almost non existent after 7pm so we were lucky to be served so fast compared with breakfast and lunch hours when lines were super long.
Between the four of us we tried:
- the savory ham and spinach which was amazing
- chocolate hazelnut which was delicious
- cinnamon poppy seed which was the most liked among all of us
- apple cranberry was lovely
- bavarian cream was also good but pastry was little tough compared with the other soft and perfectly made pastries
What a place. I want to come here again and again and try all the other stuffing and flavours. Beautifully made pastries, soft and delicious.
Nathan Wall
I'm truly disappointed to see the owner of this establishment associating with Jonathan Choe and Brandi Kruse. We all have differences, but proud boy sympathizers and racist provocateurs are a bridge too far. Brandi Kruse believes that Black people are inherently more violent than other racial groups. I will not be patronizing this establishment until there is an apology issued.
Christian Richter
Fun and awesome. All the Mushroom, beef, and or potato varieties were great. The dough or flake pastries are all really well done.
Debisree Ray
This is very popular and touristy. Every new food blogger/ travel vloggers stop by this place when they go to the pike place. Even Anthony Bourdain stopped by this tiny place back in 2006. This is a typical Russian bakery where you will get different varieties of sweet and savory baked goodies. Most of them are different pastry puff with a filling of different kind. This is a small counter only place. The service is super quick. I went early in the morning. So there was a lot of options left. I went with salmon roll and hazelnut chocolate one. The salmon one is really very popular. A flour pastry baked and wrapped with a creamy salmon filling inside. The Pastry cover is not too thick and sprinkled with some dill. The sweet one was not too sweet and topped with some icing sugar. They have a various locations across Seattle. So if there is one near to you make sure to stop by and grab one.
Jeff K
They don't have the smoked mozzarella or broccoli ones anymore and I missed out on the cranberry turkey one which is the one that I really like right now. The potato mushroom one is really really good but they changed the recipe of the crust, I think.
i_cant_stand_ the_crain
The beef and onion piroshky was well seasoned and thick. The apple cinnamon was not sweet enough for me personally. I went in around 2pm and the savory choices were limited so I will go again to try something different.
Drew J
Delicious. We wanted to try them all but alas we were only two people. Don't let the long line disuede you... It moves quickly and give you time to people watch all of the crazy people standing in line to order at the first Starbucks (well sort of) and to make the hard decision on what you want to order. If you turn left out if the exit and go through the building with other shops there is a courtyard with tables where you can enjoy your food.
Sanket Gandhi
Just found this place as I was passing from it. It was kind of a small place but was very busy so got my attention. I went inside and got a Chipotle Piroshky recommend by the server. It was really good. Never heard of Piroshky before but now I would like to have it again. This is a small shop in line of famous Pikes Place Starbucks. So if you are getting a coffee you should definitely get a Piroshky from here.
Nicolas Pinegar
This place is amazing! My first trip to Seattle I visited them 3 times within 24hrs. Sweet or savory, they're all great! Don't be intimidated by the line out front, it moves quickly. I went twice today and only had to wait about 7 minutes. Highly recommend!
Mike Karim
You can’t visit Seattle and not visit piroshky!
I’ve been to Seattle twice, and every time I come we always stop by piroshky every morning before starting our day.
The lines go by quick so don’t be discouraged by long lines, and if there is a line, it’s definitely worth the wait.
I usually always get the Beef and Onion which is bomb as hell!
But any of their sweet piroshkys are really good.
If it’s your first time I definitely recommend the beef and onion, and the star piroshky.

Strolling along the streets at Pike Place and BAM! the smell of a bakery gets ya + the fast-moving lines. Got the apple Cinnamon roll and was surprised to find that it was filled with generous amounts of apples! Dough part was a bit on the tougher side with chew and gets very flavorful with each bite. The pictures of the Moscow Roll reminded me of a Bavarian Cream donut but was surprised to find that there was no cream. The cinnamon braid is yummy! Recommend apple & cinnamon braid.

Wonderful place to have amazing pastries and other items. Place is small but full of aroma and unique items. Whatever you pick would be authentic and tasty. Must visit !
samavi M
Must try if you are in the town visiting. Best place to experience the taste of Russia, amazing sweet and hot pies. There is always a line here as it is a pickup and go store but the service is quick and even worth waiting a long line.
Rebekah Lockwood
Delicious! Get there early because there's a line. It moves quickly, so hurry up and pick something! I love all pastries and quickly decided on one with nutella. It was warm and satisfying! The nutella filling had a custard texture to it, which I enjoyed!
Quintin Coppola
Russian pastries ranging from sweet to savory. Some of these can be hit or miss. Cabbage and onion was great. Cinnamon and cardamom was unique. Potato and mushroom was a bit dull, it needed a gravy. The apple fritter just wasn't sweet enough.
Rachel Mui
The reason I deducted two stars is all because the price.
Piroshky @ Pike Place is 20% cost more any other location😡20%!! I just found out today after 3 days in a row hving them as breakfast. We walked by Columbis/Macy’s building as well as Southcenter Mall. They are selling the exactly same thing for $5.40, $6.85 at Pike Place.
The foods is amazing especially the Salmon pate one!! That’s my #1 favor!
Melissa McFadden
We had a group of 5 to feed and thought this would be a good place to try. My friend had been before and she commented that they didn't taste as good as last time because they were served luke warm this time. I didn't really like any of them. We tried cream cheese blueberry, meat and cheese, potato and cheese, and a hazelnut chocolate (which was the best). Its just ok in my opinion. Maybe better if served hot on a cold day with coffee. Today it's like 90 degrees and wasn't very appetizing. Nothing stood out as phenomenal. If you want an amazing piroshky try Katya's Bakery in Lynnwood, Wa. Worth the drive!!
Suma T
This place does not need a review because long lines speak itself. Unlike traditional puffed pastries, piroshky’s savoury items are perfect blend of buttery flakiness and texture. We went twice & tried their Beef & cheese, curry chicken & rice, apple pie & cardamom almond piroshky.
Betsy Finn
Very yummy treats. We went just before closing, there was no line, and some good options left - we chose a cinnamon apple roll and a marrionberry cream cheese vatrushka. They packed both up in to go containers and gave us silverware also. Would definitely love to go back and try more options! During the day we've seen a long line of people waiting, that extends out onto the sidewalk...so plan accordingly if you go during a busy time.
Johnathan Goodwin
Fast, quality service and delicious pastries! I returned again within a couple of days to try their new monthly flavour. Definitely worth returning for!
Pamela Johnson
This is place is a must when visiting the Public Market. We went around the time it opened and there was no line. The staff are friendly, passionate, and professional.
We had the Smoked Salmon piroshky and it is a treat worth repeating. Which we will when we go back to Seattle.

Recommend? Yes.
This is right next to Pike's Place so it is very convenient for those walking around and shopping. There is a bit of a wait at times, but the lady working the line is such a character! She might own the place for all I know, but if she doesn't they should give her a raise.
When I went they had 2 vegan ones, veggie chipotle and potato and mushroom. I've never had a pirozhki before so this was the first time I've been introduced to one. I have no reference as to how it should or should not taste. I can only go off my personal preference. To easier explain it to "mainstream" tastes; it's like the concept of a hot pocket, Asian bao, Latin empanada, Jamaican pattie, etc.
I really enjoyed the potato and mushroom over the chipotle one. The flavors were mild. I didn't like the chipotle one as much because it has rice in a dough pocket so I felt that was just a bit too much carbs with not much of texture differences. Albeit the potato and mushroom didn't offer that much of a texture difference either, but I found the combination much better suited with the heavier dense fried dough.
These are good even when cold. I bought a couple extras for my train ride. You should definitely give them a try. There's nothing to not like about them. I do hope one day they'll have a sweet vegan one.
Linda Zhang
First time visiting Seattle and this place was recommended by many. The long line was a bit intimidating but it moved quickly and was definitely worth the wait. The people are so nice too, especially the chef who patiently answered my questions about the process and different types of fillings. My friend ordered the smoked salmon pate for me and it was amazingly delicious, definitely want to go back and try all the different flavours!
Christine Kwok
Pretty filling. Didn’t like the onion and potato(?) one, in my opinion didn’t have enough flavour. Smoked salmon was really good though. Big portions!
stay_hungry_taipei
the smells attracted me and my friends
the line was crazy since afternoon
passed by a couple times, it’s always packed with people
my friend bought almost every single one
Mahesh Chittaranjan
Delightful little Russian bakery located at the heart of Pike Place Market. You have to stand in a long line to get inside and place your order but the piroshky is worth the wait.
They have sweet and savory piroskhy's with meat, vegetables and cheese.
For orders above $50.00, you get a Piroshky Piroshky shopping bag as well.
PETER
Honestly, I came here with an expectation of how can a pastry be this good that every foodie recommended it. But once I bit into that salmon pate prisohky, I wanted to slap myself stupid because its that darn good! Nice hot and deliciously buttery. OMG
Pranav Krishnamurthy
The wait time was extremely long and the food was okay at best. The vegetarian options I had lacked flavor and tasted relatively bland. In my opinion, not worth the wait if the line is long.
Kavya Gupta
Long line which dissolves super fast because of a customer representatives. Tasty tasty Piroshky. You cannot go wrong with any choice. 😊 …
Brad Wright
This is a great restaurant with a lot of excellent Russian sweet pastries and savory foods. The line gets pretty long so I’ll get there early if you want to get something. The best thing about these pastries is there a great take a long snack.
Diana Nguyen
I was told to go here by my friend who’s living here and he did not lead me astray!
Piroshky Piroshky sells Russian Pastries, both savory and sweet, that are perfect on the go. I ordered the beef and cheese; bacon, hash brown, and cheese; and a cinnamon cardamom pastry. I wanted to order the smoked salmon piroshky, but the person in front took the last one... My sister wants to come back tomorrow so I may get to sample the smoked salmon one after all!
The space was a bit tight so I went through the back and found stone tables and seats.

4 ⭐️ - will come back
It is definitely worth getting if you are in the seattle area, especially if its your first time. There is a reason why the beef & cheese piroshky and smoked salmon pate are on their best sellers list. They were very good especially if you can get them hot. We tried their apple cinnamon roll but it wasn’t anything special.
Is it worth lining up for it? maybe especially for the photo and experience but if you can go to their other location were there is no line, even better.
Rock Y
This bakery is absolutely fantastic. Everything we order is great. The best part of coming here often is the love that we have for Mary, who is at the front controlling the line and welcoming people as they come in. My two little kids absolutely love her and look forward to seeing her when we go to the market. Thank you Mary, for your kindness and warm greetings to my little ones. -Lauryn & Willie

incredible food and indescribably amazing scents wafting through the building. i bought 4 items to try and the mushroom and onion was my favorite. skip starbucks and come here instead. you won't be disappointed and it's much more unique.
James Howard
The beef & cheese piroshky I tried was delicious!! The dough was so light and the fillings were quite savory. I wanted to try everything on the menu shown in their display case! Definitely recommended and I cannot wait to get back to Seattle again for more piroshkies.
E.
The salmon pieroshky was $8 with tax. While taste was good it wasn't amazing and didn't justify the high price.
Rydell Jr
The beef & cheese was like having a Philly Cheese steak so far from home. Can't go with the potato & cheese. For desert the poppy seed cinnamon roll went great with a cup of coffee. I ate the other two way too fast to get a picture lol
Rachana
Visited Seattle a while back and as always my love for local food excites me …and this stop was a mandatory as recommended by many…. There was a huge queue outside Piroshky Piroshky but we were adamant we have to try this…
We tried couple of Piroshky’s
Loved the Chicken and rice Piroshky
Cheddar Garlic roll was good
Veggie Chipotle was delicious
We also tried the sweets and they were amazing and something new - chocolate cream hazelnut , moscow roll and apple cinnamon roll
We were so hungry I nearly forgot to click pictures.
But do stop by here when in Seattle.
Debbie Sturt
Tasty. Hit the spot for breakfast. Get there early as there is a line. I had beef and onion and my friend had ham, cheese, and spinach. Super flaky buttery pastry and yummy fillings.
Melissa Reeves
I wanted to stop here because the pastries looked amazing, but the line was just too long. When I checked back later, there was no line! The service here is actually really quick, so I guess in retrospect waiting in line wouldn’t have been too bad.
It was really hard to decide what to order. Everything looked so yummy. I tried a few different things and I would recommend them all. I don’t think you can go wrong here.
Pierce Jackson
They were so fresh! The potato and cheese was really warm and doughy and melts in your mouth. The smoked salmon pate was excellent as well. I will be back here for sure.
Berseker Mayan
Not sure what I was expecting, but with the delicious smells and the line out the door, decided to give these a try. However, the piroshki themselves were fairly meh. Its not that they were bad, its more as they just weren't overly exciting, being neither bland nor flavorful. We tried a potato and cheese and an apple. The dough on the potato one wasn't crispy or soggy. Kind of middle of the road slightly chewy where as a the filing was about what you'd expect from potato and cheese. The apple was like a reworked apple pie. Again, not bad, but nothing exciting either. Overall, I'm not disappointed in my visit, but I'm not convinced there is any reason to return.
Tony C
Another eatery with huge lines and five star reviews, I don't get it. It's essentially a filling in a bun/pastry/bread. We had the ground beef, it was nice, that's it, not five star memorable. Not a lot of filling and ground beef tasted like...well....ground beef, I make better myself. Fine for a handheld if you want to walk the area or have a quick bite. I certainly wouldn't queue for it.
Lucille
Omg, this place is well worth the wait in line!! All sweets and savory pastries are amazing! Piroshky Piroshky!!!
Gretchen Dixon
Be ready to get in and get out! Order fast because they keep the line moving! Delicious sweet treats 😋 …
Cindy C
We heard a lot of great things about this place so we wanted to check it out. The line was long but moved very quickly! The person in charge of the line was super effective at facilitating it so that not too many people crowded the ordering area. The food itself was delicious. We ordered a variety of fillings from the beef and onion filling to the curry filling. For myself, I had the pirozhki with salmon pate filling. It was very delicious! I liked how the bread was much lighter and fluffier than I expected and enjoyed how it complemented the pate. Personally, I felt I could have eaten at least half another pirozhki to have a complete meal. In the future, I'd like to try the other types of pirozhkis offered.
Naren Dwarka
Everything we tried was amazing. The salmon pastry, cardamom pastry, vegetarian pastry, rhubarb pastry were all delicious. We bought extras to have the next day. Will definitely go back when in Seattle.
misa
My favorite food I’ve had in Seattle! They have many different flavors. A must for tourists and locals! My favorites were the hash brown bacon, potato, egg, and cheese and the hazelnut chocolate cream. Will be visiting soon!
Ana S
Stopped by at this place twice. First time during the day and second time just before opening. Both times line was long but fast moving. We spent about 15-20 minutes waiting each time. Posted by the waiting line menu does not show all choices of pirozhki they sell. We tried multiple ones. While my family enjoyed one kind with nutella (I think), I liked some with potato and mushroom, and potato and cheese. It's always busy and pricey, must we enjoyed it!
Fadil Karim
Wow this place is amazing! I had the smoked salmon dish and the bread was so fresh and the salmon had a lovely smoked flavor. This place is a MUST have when visiting Pike's Market (along with apple cider from the stand down the street)
Matt Gao
Delicious food, be prepared for a mild to moderate wait time outside if it’s busy. Take a look at their online menu before you go so you have an idea what to order. Try both the savory and sweet ones! Their menu tells you which ones are popular
Blakelynn Sherouse
Classic little Seattle stop! It's a must for wandering the Market early morning with a coffee. Even though me and my brother switched our Piroshkies accidentally, they were still very yummy and SWEET. But there are savory pastries! Can't wait to try again!
Ahmad Hejri
Im fan of Piroshky, Tired that in many places, is not the best in the world but i think is one of the best in north america, they always have a huge line up and store is a little bit overloaded and not 100% clean, but Im not complaining that, Love their piroshkys.
Willow Justin
Super friendly staff and I love all the flavors I got! First time visitor and I’m sure I will be back again and again. Only regret is that I got one for each kind that I picked and that’s not enough to share with families lol. Btw, I love the cotton candy cashier’s hair style so beautiful and attractive as well
Amanda Wells
There is no way to put into words how amazing this bakery is. My fiance and I went to try it while touring Seattle, and immediately went back after finishing two rolls because we needed more. Everything they have is hot and delicious. You must go.
Victor Bilgen
Definitely worth the stop. The line moved really fast. I liked the potato and cheese best, my buddy liked the beef and onion best
Kate S
Long lines to get in. I bought an apple and cheese beef. I didn’t think either one was very tasty. $14 for both. Well at least I tried it.
Varld Nomad
Line may look long but it's worth the wait! (Trickles by quickly so don't worry) well made, just the right thickness of crust and delicious filling. It's located by pike place so it draws a large crowd of tourists but it's vetted by locals as a must-go spot nonetheless!
Han San Lim
Got there early and buy a few items for breakfast and beat the queue! I tried both savory (salmon) and sweet(apple) items. Both good!
Dena McMullen
This is a must visit. The service was excellent and the staff was super friendly. The food was outstanding!
Get the salmon pate and the poppyseed cinnamon roll. They are both delicious! You won’t be disappointed.
Tip: Go early! We went around 8:15-8:30 and were third in line. Just a couple hours later, the line was out the door and down the sidewalk (probably 30 or so people). Totally worth it though!
Summer
I like the savory (and a little tart) Cabbage and Onion piroshky(only available in August) and the sweet (and a little tart) rhubarb piroshky the best. The employee recommended the traditional beef and onion piroshky over the bestseller beef and cheese piroshky, because the cheese sometime overwhelmed the flavor, and, “traditional”.
Gregory Trense
It was ok... not worth all the hype, tried 3 sweets and one salty (smoked salmon)
A little too doughy for my taste ... but I can see why people love it... if you’re into cinnamon rolls etc. then you would enjoy it more then I did... Didn’t have much expectations before getting there... went with an open mind... not for me, but it looks like all the people eating outside were enjoying it ...
Jack Liu
It's pretty decent but overpriced for what it is. The fish pastry is tasty and looks cool.
Sruthi Venkataramanababu
One of the touristy, ‘must-do’ sorta things in Seattle/ Pike place; similar to the first Starbucks location.
We got two savory ( vegan chipotle and potatoes&mushroom ) ones and one sweet ( hazelnut chocolate) piroshky. They taste very nice. The shop itself is pretty small and you can see them baking the piroshkies fresh all the time.
The waiting time is a lot and lines are long especially on weekends and holidays. Do it if you have the time and the patience to stand in the line. If not skip it, you won’t regret it too much.

Got the smoked salmon pate. They were alright but too doughy and I had expected more filling. Kinda overpriced and bit of a tourist trap, but still a decent breakfast option in Pike Place Market tho. Line was long but moved very quickly. I had like 30 people ahead of me but only I waited 5 minutes to get the piroshkies.
Gabriel Hutschneker
Had the smoked salmon pate piroshky. It was absolutely delicious, worth the short wait time!
Happy J
First time in Seattle had to go pikes place market and Piroshky was the first stop. Excellent service and delicious food empanada things
John Caudell
Unbelievably excellent pastries. Try the cinnamon cardamon roll or the apple cinnamon one if you like something sweeter. On the savory side the meat and cheese or the traditional onion and cheese were good too. Many, many other flavors and types. The marzipan roll was excellent as well. We went 3 days in a row!
Jonathan Milles
Happened to be passing by and got to watch some of the pastries being made. Ending up buying a few different ones and they were all delicious. The employees were all friendly and helpful while still moving the line right along.
Lynnette Morales
Worth the hype, but get multiple things. One thing we ordered was meh and the other was magical. It greatly depends on individual tastes so try until you find your favorite because you will!
Shaun Young
Piroshky Piroshky offers an awesome array of both sweet and savory Russian pastries. I had the potato and mushroom piroshky. My husband ordered the hash brown and bacon piroshky. Both were tasty bites to start the day before we headed out to explore the city more. We also ordered the chocolate cream hazelnut as an afternoon pick-me-up. All were tasty snacks, but they may have been overhyped by friends who raved about the place.
Jennifer L.
I ordered the mushroom and potato piroshky and the beef and cheese piroshsky. Overall, the food was good but nothing to go home and tell your mama about. The fillings were decent but the pastry wrap wasn't all that flavorful. The picture below shows the piroshkies with a ginger beer float from Rachel's Ginger Beer
Amber Nicholson
Shared the beef and onion, ham and cheese and spinach, and rhubarb with my husband. Ham and cheese, the pastry was pretty salty. Skip the rhubarb it was flavorless. Overall, just ok. A decent snack or lunch if you're in the area, don't go out of your way or wait long in line.
Al Season
True taste of Russian Pirozhki is not here. We got 13 different kinds today. At a price of $5-$7 you'd think they would be more authentic. Service is like at a fast food . Potato and mushroom pirozhok doesn't have mashed potatoes in it anymore , quickly made using hash browns. Hash browns were undercooked and partially raw.
John G
We were passing by on a Sunday afternoon, there was almost no line so we had to do it. It smells so good when you pass by.
We got the beef and cheese roll (6,85) and the smoked mozzarella, broccoli and mushroom pie (6.49).
Both were just OK, for some reason my expectations were high. I'd probably liked it better if it was warm from the oven, it felt a little stale.
Other thoughts:
It feels a little pricy for what it is, but it's downtown I guess.
Cool spot to checkout if you're visiting, it's just next to the first Starbucks.
Another thing is that the place is super cozy so typically you get your pies and eat them as you walk around the market.
I might go back again and try to order whatever it is that I smelled from outside lol
Zhenya Brisker
They have vegan, vegetarian and dairy free options! Yummy!!!
Pacific Northwest Guy
Luckily I arrived early and didn't wait in line. I had the Russian and the Rhubarb Piroshky's. Very bland not much filling and not very flaky. I went back later and there were 100's in line! Definitely not worth the wait in my opinion.
Karina Sanchez
So so good! I was drawn in by the enticing smell and I don’t regret it. I had trouble picking which one because they all looked so good. I got the apple cinnamon roll and it was a bit doughy but SO GOOD
Brooke Star
There was a long line so I figured why not find out what the fuss was about! Definitely glad I waited, the line moves quickly which is nice because they had out menus while you are waiting to speed the process up. I tried the Chocolate Hazelnut cream roll and the Potato Mushroom. Both were delicious!
Aileen Dancel
Get here early. Fresh cooked piroshky is the best. No street parking. I love piroshky!! Had the beef and cheese, potato and mushrooms, and the sausage with Jalapeños. All 3 were delicious. Came here two mornings in a row and to take home a few for the family. Great staff.
Justyna Pawlak
Long line but do not hesitate and wait few minutes to eat the best pastry in the USA! You can find sour and sweet piroshky there.
James Mims
I know it may sound like a ridiculous claim, but I am standing my ground when I say that these are the best pastries on the planet! I have eaten pastries all over the world, and no place has made me quite as happy as Piroshky Piroshky! I spent 4 days in Seattle, and I ate here 4 times. Do not let the occasional long line discourage you. They are very efficient and worth the wait. They only accept cash, so make sure you have cash easily accessible and grab a menu to browse while you wait to make your order.
Geo Min
Great food, cheap price and a great snack to eat!! Apple cinnamon was really good, good flavors, I got the salmon bread (apparently they're most popular option) and it was really good, the bread is well made and salmon inside is a good combo! Friendly staff too, helpful in picking a food item! Small little store right on Pikes Place, would recommend!
Kelsey McMaster
Oh how we love the Piroshkys from Piroshky Piroshky! Been coming here for years just to get that classic Pike Place Market quick fix. The doughy, flaky, tasty filled pastries vary from "whole apples" to nuttella filled and savory treats like the chicken and rice or beef and mushroom. This is a must have when visiting Pike Place Market... and I think the long line of people outside on the sidewalk would also agree!
Maxwell Rick
Absolutely amazing vegan breakfast pastries. My wife and I ordered the Veggie Chipotle and the Mushroom Potato and both are delicious . !!!
Ivan Dagnino
Long line but it moves at a very fast pace. Food was great. I ordered the potato and cheese and bacon, cheddar and egg. The only thing I would change would be for the food to be kept on the hotter side. Mine was warm which made it seem less fresh.
Abijit Fernandes
This place justifies all the hype. Warm, delicious..the crust is where the magic is...I tried the salmon and beef. Both were amazing.
Sabrina Mohd Nordin
I would try to get different pastry every time I’m here, but the smoked salmon pate is a must! Line is always long (go to the one on 4th ave to skip) with tourists but move quickly. Staffs are always friendly and would help you with any questions while you’re in line. There’s a few bar stools in the shop itself, but the small space can be a little stuffy so I’d suggest eating them while you’re exploring the market.
Aaron Thompson
The salmon piroshky was excellent. We also tried the Apple Cranberry Pastry and the Cinnamon Cardamom Braid. Everything had great dough and the right amount of fillings.
Heidi Hake
The chicken curry rice and the beef/onion are a must try! I wish I could have tried more, but I am only one person. The line may seem long, but it moves rather quickly. You can see the pastries being made as you wait in line, which is pretty impressive. Highly recommend trying these savory delights.
Jair Israel Avilés Eusebio
They have plenty of either salty and sweet options. May wait on a line before being attend, though.
One of my favorite spots in Pike Market Place.
jay d
This was so amazing!! And so fresh, the dough was a little sweet too. I had the salmon pate and I am in love with it. Lol I also had the braided one as well. So good.
Kay Parry
A staple to every Seattle trip I've gone on.
I've tried their entire core menu, the salmon pate is probably my favorite but the beef and cheese is a close second.
Juliet Springsteen
Great vegan option. We got the vegan 'beef' and onion and went back for another one. Super tasty.
Eric Toya
We came years ago and lived it. You always wonder if the next tone around will fail to live up to the memory. No fail here! Be prepared to wait in line, especially on weekends, but it's worth it. The beef and cheese is a favorite. Also the cinnamon cardamom. The salmon was out on this visit. Bummer.
Nicole Huber
Of course it's good! Loved the poppy seed roll. Good smells wafting out while you wait in line. Worth the hype and wait. Amazing what they do with such a small space. Get there early to get a good spot in line and enjoy warm goodies!
G C
Excellent pastries. Smoke salmon and beef are two of our favorites. The line moved fairly quickly, we have ~10 ppl in front of us but we got our goodies within 12 mins.
Dana Vogel
The line moved pretty quick and everything we tried was amazing! I wish I could have tried them all. The favorite of the ones I tasted was the beef and cheese. It was almost like a Philly cheese steak in a pastry pocket! Yum!
Sesar Urkaregi
If your looking for a did place to eat look for a place with a line waiting. That's what I've been told it's a great recommendation for a good meal. This place always has a line and that's with great reason. There are so many options if baked goods and that are all so yummy.
Kristin K
Everything was fantastic! My mom kept urging me to stop in & get the smoked salmon pate. I like salmon but I'm not a smoked salmon freak, but I decided to at least give it a try. Mind blown! It was fantastic! I also purchased a lemon pastry that was excellent with my coffee. I purchased the apricot square & marzipan roll that I'm taking back home to share with mom...I'm pretty confident they're going to be fantastic & cant wait to try! There was a line, but it moved fast & the employees were super friendly.
Chaz Rich
Their savory pastry is good!
luis ofray
Very very so not impress!! Not saying is bad...just not great or amazing...lot of people wait and wait to try this food and i guess is the it thing to do when you are at the market place...but look at people's faces once they try it and come out....is that feeling you get when the vending machine keeps your change...but go and try it ...you be the judge and while your there check out all their awards and recognitions ...if you look hard enough you might spot Antonio burdain on the wall....
Stefen Eylens
Super fantastic food, line moves really quick and prices are very reasonable. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting to check this place out for a brunch/lunch meal!
Pavithra l
This place is highly Rated and they stand by it. There is always a line but it moves by quick. We tried smoke salmon, beef and cheese, chocolate cream cheese roll. Everything tasted good but smoke salmon won the contest.
Jo Seto
Bestseller cinnamon&cardamom braid with candied orange and walnuts embedded within the twist - served HOT out of the oven. I feel so lucky. But I would not wait in a long line for it.
Theo Tedjasasmita
Best bread shop in town. Ordered the salmon and beef scallion piroshky. No more talking. Too good. Must try when in seattle. The queue might look scary but they serve really quick. Dont worry guys you wont have to wait for even 15 mins to get your piroshky. Family owned and runned. Perfe t for breakfast in winter. Yumm!
Shivika Singal
So when you get to pike place you will hear everyone tell you how great this place is and that it’s a must try. I tried to go over the weekend and the queue went around the whole block. I couldn’t wait to try it, so I went during the week so was able to get right in. Very tiny grab n go style shop. Smoked salmon seemed to be most popular calzone sort of thing that they sell here. We got about 3 of those, chicken n rice, veg chipotle and a cinnamon piroshki for approx $40. I may have over anticipated the taste given the hype but I was a bit disappointed. It was quite bland for my pallet and the outer bread was sweetish and seemed to have too much of something (baking soda perhaps) :& and smoked salmon was probably the only one that was even in the running, both chicken and veggie I didn’t like at all. The cinnamon braid was okay, but I wouldn’t have moss much. 3 stars as I thought it was average.
Leisa Watkins
When visiting Seattle one really should visit Piroshky Piroshky. It an ionic fixture at Pikes Place. I prefer the kolaches from Hruska’s Kolaches in Provo, Utah. Yes, I know they are not the same thing. Both are a type of pastry that holds a portion of fruit surrounded by puffy dough. Kolaches were first made by Czechs who settled in Texas. A piroshky hales from europe. I prefer the Kolaches.
Paige DiFiore
Line is usually long, but it moves fast. These pastries are absolutely delicious and they come in an iconic yellow box. They’re great to take to go (just pop them in the fridge) or eat ASAP. The marionberry cream cheese vatrushka is my personal favorite, so creamy and delicious. Each pastry will run you about $6 - $8 but they are great to split with someone else because of their size.
Mickey Sattler
We spot a long line, a really long line, so I queue while the hunnybunny judges the attraction.
It turns out to be Piroshky, Piroshky Bakery, which has a lot of reviews, many glowing. We decide to endure the queue, chatting with our line neighbors all the while. We're a mix of first-timers and repeat customers. The two savory flavors we want are sold out — it is late in the day, after all — but the ones we get instead are very good.
We get a dessert called “Oscar’s Star“, a pastry topped with chocolate, sweet cream cheese, and sprinkled with hazelnuts. It’s really tasty, and I’m not usually much impressed with sweets.
Antony White
Super tasty. I got the apple and cinnamon role. This was the first thing I ate when I came to Seattle and it was very welcomed indeed. Chilled out near the dog park near by eating this and looking out at the awesome view
Gouri Deshpande
I have tried the vegetarian cabbage and onion roll (light snack, mild taste, no cheese) and the
vegetarian smoked mozzarella broccoli mushroom roll (very filling, lots of cheese, my favorite, I recommend trying this).
I also tried the apple cinnamon roll but found this a bit too sweet and saturating. I've had better.
A great place, worth waiting in the queue a bit. You'll see the Piroshky folks helping with the menu card and willing to take questions while waiting in line. Once you enter, there's hardly any breathing space so you'll need to be real quick. Have one or two back-up choices ready because you might see the guy ahead of you grab the last peice of something you wanted to order.
Justin Knowlton
We loved eating at this tiny little shop. They were delicious meat pies, as I call them. The beef and cheese one is my favorite one that they make! Although the desert Piroshky looked good too!
Hamid Omid
Nice place to get some piroshki! The line looks intimidating but you get the goodies fast! Worth the wait
Monty Griswald
My favorite part of Pike St. is how eclectic it is in its vendors. You can find a lot of different and unique foods. Piroshky has some delicious Polish pastries. I especially like the cinnamon and almond pastries. If the dough was a bit softer, would be more enjoyable for me. But my crew loved it!
Kate Gallagher
We ordered delivery, and everything was great! It arrived frozen so it heated up well in the oven with no sogginess. Sweet and savory were both very tasty - can't go wrong with anything you order here.
Sarra Abusamra
They were good but too salty for me. Haven't tried the sweet ones though.
Kayla P
Everyone is sleeping on the cheddar garlic roll!!!!!!!! It is literally to die for. It was recommended to me with a raving review that when this person lived there they had this for breakfast most days, and honestly, it DELIVERED! It’s so warm and delicious I think I may have dreams about it. They are having a pop up event like 5 hours from me and I may need to go, just to get 12 dozen of these. Admittedly, I did try the cinnamon braid and wasn’t nearly as obsessed. Do yourself a favor and forget what anyone else says and get the garlic cheddar roll, I promise you won’t be disappointed!
Christina Johnson
One of my favorites! Any time I find myself in pike place I'll stop here for a classic salmon pate or whatever seasonal items they might have.
The line goes quick, but there's nowhere to sit. (I recommend going up the hill and down post alley to the chocolate shop and grabbing a coffee and sitting there and drinking and eating. )
You can't go wrong getting a couple different items and sharing across a group if possible!
Andrew Chong
Great spot to visit for breakfast. Right in the heart of Pike Place Market next to the first starbucks. Yummy pastries 🥧 …
Joyce Lee
Tried the Apple cinnamon roll (4.75 before tax). It was a little expensive but amazing taste! They have other flavours as well that I hope I have tried!
Ruthie Kataoka
You will not be disappointed with anything you pick. There's often a long line and well worth the wait. Not only is it great food the ppl who work there are so nice and just the best! I'm a very picky eater and haven't come across one I didn't like even if I don't care for all of the ingredients once I take a bite it's so good! We scarf them so fast I forget to take a pic!
Solongo E
I have been looking forward to trying this place and came here bright and early at 8am after dropping by Starbucks, and there was no wait!
We got the Beef and Onion Piroshky and Smoked Salmon Pate Piroshky. Beef and onion was pretty good, but we didn’t really enjoy the smoked salmon pate one as it was kind of cold and mushy with not much flavor.
If we are in Seattle again, might be back to try more flavors and pastries.
Trey Holliwood
I went around 2pm. Good location. I got the cheese pastry and chocolate cream one. Cheese was good. Chocolate was just okay. It had a very specific taste. I would go back to try the other salmon or beef ones.
Chelsea Hoang
Quick bites at this spot throughout our visit since the line was long but moved fast. Our favorite was the salmon Pate since it was unexpectedly delicious. I thought both Pate and salmon were strong by themselves individually, and to combine them would be a clash of flavors, but boy were I dead wrong. The texture was soft, velvety, and somehow just worked beautifully. We’ve been back a few times already for the salmon Pate alone.
Jamie Manzano
Delicious little pastry stop right by Pike Place market. Line gets long but moves quickly. They have both sweet and savory type pastries and every single thing I tried was amazing! Would absolutely recommend.
Shelley Holm
I needed breakfast and took a bus just to try this. It was good! Friendly staff.
Joe Muni
You can't go wrong here! Every piroshky I had tasted great...and I ordered over half of the ones on the menu in one trip there. LOL
The pastry dough is buttery and light and the fillings were very flavorful. Highly recommend even if the line is long. They run like a well oiled machine and will have you in and out in just a few minutes
Ben Trevor
Definitely worth a visit if you're at Pike Place Market. The line can get a little long, but it moves relatively fast, and it's worth it (certainly more worth it than the one at the Starbucks next door). Their savory pastries are probably better than the sweet (which is not to say that the sweet are bad, just that the savory are REALLY good). The only downside is that they occasionally run out of the more popular flavors (like salmon pate) temporarily, so if you get up to the front at the wrong time, you may be out of luck. Plenty of other good choices, though, so just think of a few backups while you're in the line.
Diana & Carlos Higuera
Second time we visit this city and we couldn't miss out on checking out piroshky piroshky and got a couple items with hazelnut q spinach with cheese and my favorite an apple pie looking like 🤤🤤🤤 …
Luke Shea
One of my favorite places to eat in Seattle. Everything is good. Sit on the little patio hidden out behind this chunk of the market, where the staircase up to the alley is. Perfect Seattle day. Been coming here since I was a kid.
Derek Brigham
There is a line up for a reason. Do not get discouraged with the wait times as we promise you it will be worth it! We walked away with 4 savoury goods and 1 sweet treat. No regrets whatsoever! Our favourites were the smoked salmon, beef & onion, and the tarte rhubarb. The bread was consistently soft and fresh, not overly baked. It was perfect every bite. We wish we got more to go... We will be back!
Richard Mack Jr
Hey you'll be pleasantly surprised
Kristina Murphy
this was so good!! i loved it, i ordered the curry chicken, i plan on coming back and getting more.
Rachit Gupta
My favorite sandwich spot in Seattle by far. Their bread is soft, filling, and so delicious! Get the Salmon Piroshky if you can beat the line in time. :)
Daniel Friscia
Such a delicious pastry shop with fun things to try. Highly recommend the Salmon pastry as a signature
Ben Pasquarosa
I have never had a piroshky before but it was absolutely delicious. Make sure to stop in for a breakfast treat. It was a nice refreshing snack to break up the classic bagel sandwich.
Daniel Seigerman
Amazing pierogies. Totally worth the wait if you see a line (it goes fast!) Everyone was super nice and honestly never had a pierogi quite like this. Pretty filling too! Highly reccomend.
JC RXN
The best Russian piroshky 👨🍳 baked goods I ever have ,the chocolate cream hazelnut was mouth watering to say the lease. …
Emily S
Excellent food quality, but the price is getting higher and higher, and the ordering system is very traditional…
Ariel Jensen
Went through the line very quickly. The staff members were friendly. You can watch pastries being made fresh in the window. A very popular place to get a great treat in Seattle. Ordered the marionberry and cream cheese pastry—so yum!!
Sonia Ramrakhiani
My first time trying a piroshky and some local folks recommended this place. I checked it out and there was a line out the door. They had both vegan and vegetarian options. I got the vegan piroshky which was stuffed with beans and had chipotle flavor. I would get two next time if I am trying to make it a meal. One was just like a nice quick snack.
Arpit Agrawal
This is a famous Russian bakery at Pike Market place. The menu includes savory and sweet piroshki (beef and cheese, chicken pot pie), cinnamon cardamom braids, frozen pierogus, pelmeni, borscht and other pastries. The bakery also serves vegan options. There may be a long line but it moves pretty quick, this is a must stop place for a quick bite !!
Jacob Samuel
Delish on the go meal with a classic Eastern European flair.
Cynthia Gustilo
These Russian puff pastries were amazing!! This light and fluffy pastry melts in your mouth with an amazing flavor of your choice. I highly recommend the Thanksgiving piroshky if you are in the mood for turkey and stuffing. This is a Thanksgiving treat you won’t forget OR want to skip!!
Jeffery Muhammad
This place is the best. My wife and I fly to Seattle once or twice a year just for the Salmon Pate Piroshky.
Caroline kaiser
Hard to pick because they all look and smell so good! Beef cheese and bacon hashbrowns were delicious. A bit pricey, and the woman yelling at the queue a bit annoying but worth the wait. Also beware staff preparing the food doesn't wear gloves or hairnets.
Jason Roemaat
Picked up a Cheddar Garlic and it was amazing. Line was long, but went fast. Fast, friendly staff.
Angel Hall
Salmon was soooo good! Line was long but moved super fast & food was fresh!
Nelson Chu
Really good, had the beef and onion pastery. Warm and lots of filling. Not cheap but worth for a try.
Rohit Thotakura
Incredible food. My two favorites are the Moscow Roll (sweet) and the Bacon, Hashbrown, Egg and Cheese (savory).
The line can get kind of long on summer weekends but their service is super fast which keeps the line moving.
Melissa Kincaid
Food was good. Got the Moscow roll and a breakfast one with bacon, cheese and hasbrowns. Had a super long line but it went extremely. If your around definitely go.
Jessica Flores
Love the potato and cheese, and chocolate hazelnut piroshky!! Always make sure I stop here by when I am in Seattle #delicious
Mikey Bonifacio
Order the Smoked Salmon Pirosky 🐟
Always made fresh and delicious spread of smoked salmon. You won't be disappointed, get two. One for now and another for later when you get home. …
Gary Woodward
Great pastries. The line was out the door every time I went by this bakery. Super friendly owners and staff. Another fine eatery down in Piles Place. Give them a try when you are in town.
Krister Lawlor
Not much of a pastry eater, but the quality is undeniable nonetheless!
Julie Warner
Pastry was too heavy and only flavor was the little bit but filling.
Melissa Chu
Delicious baked goods. Line can get long, but it moves and is worth the wait.
Melinda Muyargas
There was a long line, but it moved at a decent pace. The most memorable thing was the lady who helped monitor the line...she was entertaining and efficient.
Honestly, though, it was overrated. We got the smoked salmon pastry, which the lady said was really popular, but we didn't think anything was that great about it. It was good - yes - but not worth waiting in that long line for. $7 was a decent price, though.
My recommendation? Send your friend to nearby Beecher's to wait in that line while you wait in the Piroshky line (or vice versa), and then share. Both are good, but you'll save time by splitting up!
John S. Mai
Awesome meat pastries! Usually a big lineup but i got lucky and it wasn't too long. Beef and onion and mushroom and onion is what i got. There was also breakfast bread too. Will come back
Noam
Tasty piroshki, friendly service. Slightly expensive for a pastry 8$
Dan Thompson
One word. Yum!
Y L
Super friendly staffs but disappointed with the product. I had high expectation because there was a long line up. But the pastry was too sweet and had an overwhelming taste. Not worth the line up.
Andre T
Nice joint to check out in the area. We got the smoked salmon pate piroshky and cinnamon braid. The braid was alright, nothing special. The salmon piroshky was great, yummy salmon flavor inside. The price though was a bit steep and the wait in line was a little long. Not a must eat, but definitely nice to try.
Eugene Suh
Best bakery in the town. I really like their savory pies. If you’re checking the reviews for reference, you should try out their smoked salmon piroshky!!
Robert Buendia
The taste is always on point. The beef and cheese and ham and spinach are my favorites.
WoodenRoller
You wouldn't know where to begin, all the bakes look delicious. Try the mozzarella or salmon pastries, they're amazing. And for dessert, the cinnamon swirl!
Marcy
Food is good. The Apple strudel was pretty amazing. The meat thing was “okay”
Prasanth Ala
Loved it. Everything is great. Tried 10 kinds sweet and savory.
hanni_ smiley
A must visit spot with tasty treats. I tried the cabbage one and rhubarb one. Very nice food and friendly staff!
Luke Brigan
Cute and quaint little shop. The line moves real quick and they have a ton of different options, both savory and sweet. It's fun to watch them freshly make their dough and pastries as well. Going back several times while we are here.
Jessica
Always good. We tried 5 different pastries both sweet and savory. All were good!
Sasha Wallace
Gorged on Nutella, marzipan, potato & cheese, salmon pate, and chicken curry piroshkies and may I just say it was a good day! Worth the line, very filling, reasonably priced, and you get a free tote bag if you purchase more than 5 :)
Pooja Menon
Great place to try some Russian pastries. They have some vegetarian options and were super flavorful as well.
Doug Lauver
Amazing. I got the jalapeno and cheddar sausage and my wife got the cinnamon cardamom. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.
Maria Cervantes
Delicious, the best I have tried is cinnamon cardamom braid. You maybe feel impressed by the big line outside but don't worry it moves really fast. They have sweet, meet, and vegetable piroshky.
Valencia OrangeJuice Studios
It's ok the smells I give a 5 however the taste is a lack luster 3 the service is great. Just wasn't impressed by the pastry.
Alina Radchuk
The salmon one is delicious.
The Apple and Beef&Cheese is good.
The poppyseed one not so much.
Henry Teaford-Boldridge
Excellent food. Really enjoyed all of them
Beth Frost
Always a fave. Chocolate hazelnut is my fave. Lines are long but worth it.
Jenn Chen
Nice selection of sweet and savory pastries! I got the lemon twist, which was a nice snack later on in the day after wandering the market and downtown Seattle--it held up nicely and still tasty when cold.
Anush Prabhu Ramachandran
One of my regulars when I visit pike place market. Very standard quality and taste. The price has been updated to be on the expensive side but a must try if you haven't tried it.
Avi NasH
Visited multiple times. Vision Sunday evening around 5:30. Chicken curry puff was delicious and they had a sweet (moscow sweet something stuffed with coconut) and they had some beef puffs. They were out of all other items ☹️. So go early to purchase other items on their menu.
Quick and friendly service 👍🏽.
Melissa Lee
1 savory and 1 sweet!! Perfect combo. Rhubarb....so good 😌. Must stop at Pike Market. …
Coy J Hutcherson
Very tasty. There's a line, but they are very quick. I had the Uli and Salmon Pate. This was pleasantly different than I had eaten before. Definitely a spot I would frequent if I were local.
Aria Rezaei
Cute little shop with lots of delicious treats. I tried one savory and one sweet piroshkies, I liked both a lot. Recommended!
Kathryn Dreitzler
Wow, the beef and onion was absolutely amazing. The place smells amazing, which made making a decision difficult, will be back for more!
Update: lines might be long on the weekends, but move very quickly. Also try the beef and cheese
Benji Tri
Great place for delicious pastries at Pukes market. Stop next door for some drinks from the first Starbucks, then get in line here for desserts. Line does not take long!
T. P. (HURTBOTPEGASUS9)
Their ❤Cinnamon cardamon braid❤is delicious and I'm someone who just doesn't care for flavore of raisins. That how good it is. It makes raisins tasty.😋 …
Alvin Ng
Great food.. A must to try.. :)
Chloe Martins
My fiancée loved the salmon piroshky. I liked how they had savory and sweet options. You may have to wait a little but, it's well worth it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My favorite had the smoked gouda cheese. Yum yum.
- Lon
Pretty good! Fresh, warm and tasty options that are great in the cold. You can find a wide variety of options from savory to sweet and meat to vegan/vegetarian. The pastries are pretty big, too.
Clayton C.
Piroshky Piroshky is always a must visit whenever we are in Pikes Place Market. Their smoked salmon piroshky is a must try, soo fresh and delicious - just a great snack or grab a few for a light meal. The staff are always super friendly. Get there early though as once the lineup starts it gets busy and there isn’t much room inside. Yummy!!
Jonathan Gomez (Johnny Vegas)
Normally a crazy line to get these wonderful delicious bites, but I was lucky enough to have gone on a slower weekday, no line, and the food was yummy! I tried the traditional Potato and cheese and the the potato and mushrooms. I wish I had the stomach to try them all! Even thought it is busier in the mornings, I heard they’re much more delicious when they’re freshly made. So definitely try and make it in earlier than later in the day!
Chris Moth
Savoury options were ok, plenty of flavour but maybe lacking some love. The sweet pastries are out of this world though! Definitely go for the cinnamon and cardamom if possible, couldn’t believe how tasty it was! Staff are really friendly and certainly add to the delight of the bakery itself!
Derek Fritz
Wonderful selection of pastries from savory to sweet. When you get one that's freshly made it's incredible, but sometimes you end up with a slightly cold batch. A tad pricey for for the sizes but still a great grab-and-go spot.
Ronald Reddy
Best place to get your baked goods. I recommend the Curried Chicken pastry
Aly Kozar
Amazing!!! Totally glad I waited in line when I was visiting! I got the limited edition pumpkin one and it was so good, like a pumpkin cinnamon roll!
Isabel Rojo
Everything is fresh and sooo delicious. Everytime I visit Washington I need to go there. I highly recommend this place.
Fernanda Wolfe
We saw many people in the line and decided to give it a try.
We order Rhubarb Piroshky and to be honest, we excepted more… but that is a very personal taste.
The women who was working outside organizing the line was AMAZING! I don’t know her name but She was super friendly ,organized everyone and explain ahead of time what they had and the items that they don’t had.
The only thing is you need to “rush it” and decide before going inside the place (a very small store) and there is not much time to look around. Just decide while waiting on the line , they have some display menus.

Had always heard of this spot, but finally got to taste a few different items this past Saturday. Each one was made with such love and warmth, had to bring a few home with me. Excited to see they’re going on a tour.

Looks good, smells great, but taste is ordinary. The place is busy but maybe from the same street as Starbucks.
Lila Smith
Absolutely delicious. The line goes really quick. Try more than one.
David Uthmann
Even with the line out the door, it's fast moving and didn't take long at all to get those piping hot buns of goodness.
Palvali Teja
You need to go to this place if you are in Seattle. Expect long lines on any day. Chicken and rice piroshky is an absolute must have.
Mark Bailey
So good. Typically a much shorter line than the pike place market location. Can’t go wrong with the beef and cheese or the chocolate cream hazelnut roll
zheng wang
Weekend huge line, came back on Monday, tried different varieties. Just so so. Totally not worth for the long line, luckily we didn't wait for 30 minutes for some bread there.
Youthawin Philavastvanid
Wonderful quick grab and go. I used to live just around the corner from Pike place. My favorites are Salmon, Uli Sausage, Beef and Cheese. All of them are wonderful though. You can't go wrong with your choice here.
Anthony Ochoa
The line may look a bit intimidating, but it moves really quick. Piroshky Piroshky has a mix of unique sweet and savory baked goods! I recommend seeing the menu on the side of the window to help you pick before you hop in line. But you would probably change your mind once you see the baked goods when they're in front of you!
Meltem Sari
Every time when I visit Seattle, Piroshky Piroshky is my must go place. I took my friends with me this time and they became fan of it too. My favorite is meat and cheese Piroshky. 😋 …
Katie
So delicious! The line is worth it. Make sure you have a back-up in mind in case they run out of the one you want.
Jack Baker
Food was fresh, fast, and fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed the beef and onion piroshky.
Daniela R
Love salmon ones. We pre ordered a bunch at their Salem, OR traveling pit stop :D so excited!!!
Lauren Jones
Delicious Piroshky. A long wait if you’re there during peak hours but it’s worth the wait. The service was quick and friendly.
Jamie Deapo
All really good! The best was the desert made with marzipan and almond paste. Outstanding!!
Stephen Christanto
Always have yummy savory and sweet bakery products and I simply love it!
GLEY
Their vegan mushroom potato piroshky was excellent!! To bad I love in the east coast😏 …
Lauren Valencia
Quick, kind service. Just enough menu options to please your palette.
Russo B
A couple friends with me, we shared food. Nothing here is bad. Just close your eyes and point. The cashier peep was very rushed.
N C.
The smoked salmon pate Piroshky was delicious! Quite a gem at the pike place market.
Sam Duggan
The poppy seed roll was too sweet to eat. There was too much syrup on it for any other flavor to come through. The pastry itself was pretty unremarkable.
Shawn Sharifi
I'm lucky I got the pictures before I scarfed down these two. Salmon pate and cinnamon cardamom braid were amazing
Hawk Bohac
Long line but went quickly, and you can watch them bake while you wait. Fantastic selection & quality, expedient, no-frills service. These guys are experts.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Piroshky Piroshky!
My first full day in seattle, I went here and picked up two of their vegan piroshis. One is there mushroom potato, the other was their impossible burger and caramelized onions. I've been eating their stuff for about 10 years, including the potato mushroom which happens to be one of my favorite, and the quality has never dipped. The food is always good, and the best part is if you eat one immediately and then eat one a couple hours later, it can probably sustain you for the entire day! My first day I walked over four or five miles around the city fueled entirely off of two piroshkis
They're not as cheap as they used to be, but in Seattle nothing is. I used to be able to get these for three or four dollars, they're now seven or eight. But, my goodness is it worth it! I would almost happily go into debt for these perfect little pastry wrap morsels of perfection!!
(Cue Homer Simpson drool)

The line was long but moved pretty fast, the pastries were very tasty! Highly recommend stopping by.

There was a line but it was a quick wait. One of our favorite go to places whenever we visit Pike street.
Jason From Guitar Center
Miss The Westfield Southcenter Location 😢😢. (Loved The Cheddar & Garlic Tho) …
Joshua T
Savory Beef and cheese was light and not as heavy as I thought it might be. Not that I would have minded. The sweet apple cinnamon was delicious with fresh apples. For breakfast not a bad way to start your day!!
Emily Brunelli
Very tasty pirozhki. Would recommend. We had a large order and got free pirozhki swag (a cloth bag). They have traditional fillings like beef & onion but also a lot of nontraditional flavors like curry.

This place is so nice, they named it twice.
I came here on recommendation from a friend and have to say that it is definitely worth the hype that was behind the recommendation.
I got the salmon pate and it was delicious. Worth every penny.
I don't consider myself a "manly-man" but I once arm wrestled a bear, and won. That being said, when I bit into that salmon pate, I squealed like a little girl and had tears running down my face... Tears or pure joy, and happiness.
Try this place, or don't. Pure bliss is not for everyone.

Wasn’t expecting to buy anything when visiting Pike’s but the heavenly scent drew my family and me into line. Several dollars per pastry but each was delicious and best served hot! Definitely an investment worth making to try as many pastries as possible 🥐 …
The Anomaly
Definitely recommend their salmon roll.
Pedro Rivera
This is a small place that sells savory and sweet snacks, the people are great and helpful, the food is delicious, stays as fresh and tasty after you store it in the fridge, I try to have something new every day but the apple cinnamon rolls all the time, its a great place to take someone for date honestly who doesn't love bread,
Katrina D
I came here 3 days in a row while visiting Seattle. The savory pastries are incredible!! My favorite was the chicken pot pie! Excellent customer service too!
Anindya Majumdar
Great selection of fresh-baked goods.
Annaliese Wieler
Loved the jalapeno cheddar and hazelnut piroshkies, but you can’t go wrong. Line is long but moves very fast.
Erika M
Stopped in on my sister’s recommendation. It was about 5-530 on a Friday. They had lots to choose from and the staff was so pleasant and helpful with suggestions. Options for vegetarians and sweet/breakfast options too. Wish I could have tasted them all.
Brian Sequeira
Delicious savouries and sweets. Definitely a must have on Ur visit to Seattle
Brian Kernan
Incredible Selection of Sweet & Savory Pastries. I've lived in Seattle many years but this is actually the first time I visited. Wish I had gone sooner. Everything is delectable and staff are very friendly and competent. Highly recommended.
Tony Cun
Yummy and filling savory pastries. I recommend the beef and cheese. There was a long line on a Friday afternoon but it goes by in maybe 10 min max.
Maryse Guevara
Our group tried the chicken sorry and rice roll, Impossible beef and mushroom roll, and then apple cinnamon roll. All were hot, tasty, large enough to share. A little bit of a line, but well worth it!
Sofia Fuchs
My husband and I came to the states as kids from USSR so when we saw this place we got all excited! When we went in, it didn’t look like anything we expected but we decided to give it a chance anyway. We understand that the look of some items should be updated for presentation. Well, I hate to say that both of us had stomach issues that day and we both thought it was from this place. Don’t get me wrong, it was delicious but probably too heavy for one person.
Xiaojing Zhang
There is always a long queue. But the lines goes quickly. Worth waiting. Both sweet and savory buns are tasty!
Sonya E
Excellent service and delicious piroshky! Vegetarian options available.
Cyle M
The smoked salmon was so delicious, highly recommend this bakery.
vanessa t
This was my first time here & the food was so good I forgot to stop to take a photo I had the beef + cheese and it was perfect. The line was long but it went so quick and the staff was very friendly.
Danielle Buyea
Such great food! Best in the city. I didn’t have a mask and the staff was so nice about it. They just gave me a disposable. I recommend the meet and cheese. Thanks everyone. You’re amazing!
John Russell
We got a bunch of savory Goody's. They were all amazing. They were out of the salmon by the time I got there. I will have to go back
lucy l
So good and also two vegan things!!!!!
Komal P
Wow! I ordered 5 piroshkys while in Seattle for 1 wkend. Everyone must try this place. I got the potato & cheese one.
Tri Hoang
Piroshky shop smells really good and that's from there beef and onion pastry, but I've tried every single one and the one that I liked the most was there Uli's sausage pastry. Never had a sausage with a crazy bite to it also being super juicy inside overall all pastries are ok to me depending on your preference but GO TRY THE ULI SAUSAGE PASTRY!
Geoffrey Etaugh
I will stop here even directly after a meal. I can't seem to stop anywhere in Pike Market without making a detour here. 10/10. Flaky pastry, savory and sweet fillings, terrific flavor and texture combinations.
Christopher Coves
Came here on my first Seattle trip and loved it. My friend was taking me to all the places she thought I’d like. She was right. The beef and cheddar one was amazing. The rhubarb one also.
Rebecca Kintzley
Everything we tried there was excellent. We got there first thing in the morning to avoid lines. The spicy pork, apple cinnamon, beef and cheese, potato and mushroom pastries were ALL scrumptious. I’m not a fan of bell peppers, so the spicy pork pastry was my least favorite but I can say it was still delicious! Thank you for the authentic flavor. Nothing tasted oily or unhealthy. Good quality pastry!
Elizabeth Ross
The cinnamon cardamom braid was to die for! I usually pass this place up on our visits to Seattle because the line is usually very long. We were able to quickly grab a bite this time and it was definitely worth it!
Shipra Behera
Firstly I really applaud the staff for being so efficient and quick with the long queue of people outside. It's worth the wait, so just go for it. We got the apple cinnamon roll and poppy seed cinnamon roll. The Apple roll just melted in my mouth and it has generous apple fillings. I felt it had little heavy dough but still it tasted SO good. Poppy seed cinnamon roll is less sweet but tasted great nonetheless. Wanna try their savory items next.

I get a meat an potato and a chicken curry piroshki everytime I'm at the pike place market. They are too delicious. If this place was closer to my house I'd be here everyday. So many different kinds of piroshki you could gave something different every day of the week.
Peaches Dupree
Very delicious, my kids are it up! Highly recommend.
