Erin is amazing! She took our last minute order and did the customized cake. The cake was beautiful, it looked and tasted amazing. We also loved the cupcakes, they were so fresh and moist. Loved the guava icing and strawberry one.

Erin was so helpful and responsive when I got a cake for a surprise retirement party for my dad; I was planning the whole thing from California so worked on the cake and designed remotely with Erin. I sent a cake topper to her shop and she incorporated that into the design. I was pleasantly suprised by the size and beauty of the cake. It was exactly what I envisioned and it tasted DELICIOUS. Everyone was raving about the cake. Thanks so much for helping make my event a memorable one!

I was searching for someone to do a custom cake for a friend who loves Settlers of Catan. Morfey’s cakes came through with under 2 weeks notice and created the most amazing cake. Erin made the most gorgeous and DELICIOUS gluten free cake for my friend’s 30th Birthday! I had zero idea what type of design to do so gave her the color scheme and said “go for it!” It turned out so pretty and perfect and you’d never know it was gluten free. Love the cakes and love it when they do decorated cookies! It’s all good. It’s a small shop and you get what you pay for; quality has a price and cannot be done at the last minute no matter what sort of attitude you throw around. Plan ahead, communicate well, and the cake for your event will be as great as it was for our wedding (don’t let the fact that some cake face smearing occurred dissuade you, that was literally on us).

Morfey's cakes is the best! The owner is super sweet and nice and has made the best cakes for our friend group. I've had their black velvet, champagne cake (my favorite), white cake, chocolate baileys (something like that) and carrot cake... our group loves her cakes and gets them whenever there's something to celebrate! Most recently she did my friends good bye cake and the decorations were amazing. All I told her was my friend was moving to vegas and she's from london originally... she made 2 amazing cakes.

Great customer service! They helped me design a beautiful retirement cake for my parents over the phone. The cake looked beautiful and tasted great. Turns out our parents got their wedding cake from Morfeys and we had no idea, so that was a fun surprise!

Friendly staff, great cakes! Presentation and flavor (most importantly) were fantastic! This was champagne cake with raspberry buttercream filling and a plain buttercream icing on the outside. I've had many Morfey's cakes from previous events but this was the first time I've ordered one myself. I got the 6" round for a friend's birthday and they did an excellent job. I didn't have much of a vision going in, but the bakers did a phenomenal job realizing my vague instructions - pink and yellow flower motif with a simple birthday message. I ordered a little less than a week in advance but everything was ready as expected.

I called in with a vague idea of what I was looking for, and the customer service Erin provided was truly amazing! She took the time to bounce ideas back and forth with me, let me think it over, and then I called back a few weeks later super excited about what we had collaborated on. When I picked up the cake, I was so impressed with how beautiful and perfect the cake looked (pictures really don't do it justice though!). I kept it refrigerated for two days until I finally got to enjoy it on my birthday and WOW, the taste and texture was spot on. I have never had such a great tasting cake and overall flawless experience with Morfey's. 10/10 recommend to anyone!!

Over the top! Highly recommended both artistically and quality of the cakes. Plus great service. They make the most amazing custom cakes, we had a Harry Potter theme & it was awesome, equally great tasting. This should be your favorite bakery and Seattle you are so fortunate to have them! I requested Erin to make Pineapple Rum cake. She made amazing cake loaded with rum and fresh pineapples. Generally, don’t get such flavors in market. She perfectly customized it as I requested her. Highly recommended.

Erin at Morfey’s is an artist and extremely talented baker. Our wedding cake was divinely delicious, a huge hit, and more beautiful than I imagined. The shop even gave me a courtesy call to remind me to pick up the cake which was very helpful with everything else going on that day! The cake was also reasonably priced and well worth every penny. Erin also let us know she could bake a cake-for-two with the same flavors for our one year anniversary!! Forget frozen wedding cake - we enjoyed the leftovers the day after our wedding and will enjoy a freshly baked cake in a year!!!

Erin is amazing!! I never got a chance to meet her but she helped make my sister's wedding day turn out perfect!! I was assisting my future brother in law plan the wedding for my sister from the he east coast. I contacted Erin based on the reviews and told her what we were looking for in a cake. Her price point was great and she delivered the cake to the venue. The cake was absolutely gorgeous and delicious!! Everyone enjoyed it but most importantly my sister loved it!!

PERFECTION! I live outside Chicago and wanted a special surprise cake to be delivered for my niece's virtual 40th birthday celebration! Bakery designer, Erin, was delightful to work with. We chatted over the phone and by email a couple times to come up with the perfect cake idea to celebrate my niece's momentous year while also paying tribute to the fact that my niece is an avid Seahawks fan! Better tasting cupcakes than CR or Trophy. Perhaps more conservative or traditional in their flavors, but easily the most delicate crumb texture and perfect sweetness level. Had coconut with a passion fruit buttercream- it was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended for weddings too!

If I could rate them any higher I would. After trying the other top bakeries in the Seattle area, it was such a pleasure to have one that would give you definite pricing. The finished cake was absolutely perfect. I asked for a cake to look like a toilet with a gnome. We were doing a underground tour and they display a specific toilet on the tour. She knocked it out of the park and it was delicious. People were asking for their card.

Called the day before to ask for a special cake for pick-up the next day. Owner was professional and very helpful, and the jpg photo I sent in turned out marvelously. Got a 6" champagne with lemon filling and buttercream with the special design for $55. The cake tasted great and looked even better. It was a great success.

It's hard to find this place open and this is coming from a person who used to stay right next door to this bakery shop for over 5 years. Their speciality is wedding cakes but I just stepped in to check what else is in store. I must say the cupcakes were delicious 🤤 and left me wanting for more.

Seriously kick-ass cakes. I was in a rush and gave some pretty underwhelming details on how I wanted the cake to come out. Depite my buffonery the cake was amazing. Red velvet cake with cheesecake frosting nearly had me in a food coma, but I'd have died happy if it was the last thing I ate. Highly recommended!

Morfeys made a wonderful space themed birthday cake for my 5 yr old. It was a sheet cake with cute piped-on drawings and decorations. I gave minimal input and they exceeded my expectations significantly! Plus, it was delicious!
